From the evaluation of the attic to recommendations for a solution and the actual work performance the Koala team seemed to be honest and right on. The pricing was very competitive. I was very pleased in every way with the install of 2 solar attic fans and insulated cover for stairwell opening.

Tyler and the crew were fantastic and completed the job with speed and attention to detail. I was unsure about doing spray foam insulation but they talked through my options, and educated me enough to make a decision. They showed up when they said they would and communicated along the way with what was going on. I recommend everyone reach out to this team, they were great!

We hired Koala Insulation to add blown-in fiberglass insulation to our attic, and the experience was excellent from start to finish. The crew was on time, professional, and took the time to explain what they were doing and why it mattered. They showed us the depth they installed and made sure everything was cleaned up before leaving. I look forward to a better insulated home as our’s had become drafty. I contacted Koala Insulation of North Houston because I purchased a home built in 1976 and most of the attic insulation was missing. Tyler came out and provided a free consultation on 12/11/2025. He was very personable, professional and patient with all of my questions. He even gave me his cell number in case I had additional questions after he left. And all of my calls were always returned in a timely manner. I received four competitive bids within the week. All bids were equal in that they covered leaving the original insulation and disinfecting it, air sealing, blowing in R38 insulation to 14 inches, installing R19 batt on the hotwall, installing soffit baffles and installing an R15 attic stair cover. Although I liked everyone I met, I ultimately went with Koala Insulation because not only were the emailed quotes very detailed (with pictures), Tyler provided different options based on my needs and budget and I felt his attic assessment was the most through of them all. For instance, he mentioned air sealing and using wool batt to insulate around my chimney, installing a wire mesh over 2 gables, removing and disposing of trash that was left from the previous owner (at no extra cost) and pointing out what everyone else missed, an air duct that was disconnected in a hard to reach area of my attic. He even referred an HVAC company, Steadfast AC Service, to perform the work because it needed to be fixed before the insulation project could begin. On a side note, the HVAC company was very professional, accommodating and reasonably priced. In addition to reconnecting the duct, I also agreed to have them tape up 2-3 tears in some duct work, hang up said ducts and insulate the connections at the supply plenum. When I was ready to schedule the insulation work, the process was very easy and efficient. A three men crew came out on 12/29/25 and everything was completed within three hours. Although the lead crewman showed some pictures of the work while it was in progress and when it was completed, said pictures were not included with the receipt for me to share in this post. Everything was swept up and clean by the time they left. I highly recommend Koala Insulation of North Houston. Tyler and his company were very easy to work with and they were very responsive. I will definitely reach out to Tyler again for another bid when I'm ready to pursue other insulation projects. Thank you Tyler and the Koala Insulation team!

Koala Insulation of N. Houston replaced our attic insulation. Tyler, the owner, listrned attentively while I was explaining all of the problems we have had with/in the attic over the years. He was very thorough in explaining how this company would clean (vacuum out all of the old insulation), sanitize (due to rodents having been in the attic in the past), and seal all areas that had openings to would allow air to leak between the attic and the downstairs (in order to keep the house cleaner). This company was the only company to agree to check and fill in the area, if needed (which it did), between the ceiling and the roof in the cathedral ceiling of the primary bedroom. He was interested in addressing all of the issues we have had with keeping the house comfortable and clean. The house is much more comfortable and it's only been a few days since the job was completed. The team that did the install was very respectful, knowledgeable, conscientious, and great at keeping us updated throughout the process. Koala Insulation of N. Houston is a great company and I highly recommend them.

I was referred by an air condition company. I called and got an appt for estimate very timely. Isaac came out and was on time, friendly yet professional and gave me what I felt was a reasonable estimate. I knew I wouldn’t be getting it done until I got my ductwork done first. Isaac let me know that they would honor the estimate when I was able to get it done. They reached out to check on my status and when I told them October that was fine with them. When I got my ducts they were able to get me in within a week. The crew called asking if they could come early. Absolutely. They got here and again friendly yet professional. They came in and got to work. While they were here I was googling how long it would take. They exceeded expectations and got in and out. I asked questions and they were patient with me and answered them clear and concise. (Even my goofy ones) They had a little hand vac to clean up insulation that fell and I appreciate that. There was a misunderstanding on my part on the amount of insulation I was getting so that could have been clearer when I got my estimate, but overall I’d use them again and recommend them. (I’ll admit my fear of heights prevents me from going into attic so what I can see from opening is all i see 🙃)

I’ve used them for both insulation and an attic fan! Each time staff came out, they were not only friendly (as to be expected), they were very knowledgeable and patient! I had tons of questions and he was able to answer each one without hesitation…. and the owner calls you himself to ensure quality care! For any issues, they will send someone right back out (for general purpose of post, I had some concerns about small closet/open to attic space that I was unsure was covered, it was not, however they provided batting without extra charge)! These are genuinely, good people!! You will not regret doing business with this agency!!

Koala Insulation did a great job spraying both closed and open cell foam in both my garage and in my house. They got the garage business after doing a great job on my house a year earlier. On both occasions they showed up on time, did exactly what was agreed to for the price quoted and actually checked their own work to ensure it was done properly. Most contractors say they do this, but the overwhelming majority don't. Oh yeah, they cleaned up after themselves which again the majority of contractors don't do of their own accord I would not hesitate to hire them again for any future work and they have my highest recommendation.

Highly recommend Koala insulation of North Houston. The owner Tyler did the estimate. He spent well over an hour in the attic evaluating everything and taking pictures. He spent the time explaining what he would recommend while showing me the pictures. He found a couple spots that animals had got in and had an easy and cheap remedy to seal the area. I wanted to have some insulation blown into my garage as well but he explained in my case that was not a good idea. I do not run air or fans in the garage and he explained it could cause moisture issues. He could have easily sold me on insulating this area. We used Koala Insulation for a couple of jobs over the past few months. First, we had all of the old insulation sucked out of our two attic spaces... not an easy job! Tyler is such a professional, he is detailed in his discussions, and proposed a very reasonable quote for the service. A few weeks later, we had them come back out after our new AC unit was installed to blow in the new insulation. Same experience on both projects. Tyler's team is exceptional. They were very polite, hard working and so respectful. They opened and closed the front door as if a baby was asleep, and when they left, we couldn't tell they were even there. We highly recommend Koala and will use them again when the time comes.

I called 2 other places much closer to me, they both said they could not do the job without cutting down half the trees on the property. Koala came out and did the survey, they arrived exactly when they said they would. Said the job could be done and only a couple of limbs needed to be trimmed, which they did at no charge. They came out and did the job when they said they would, completed it early and charged what they said it would cost. I will definitely be referring them to friends and family. Overall I am 100% satisfied with this company.

Tyler did a great job of explaining their process, took detail photos, wrote up a solid quote and passed it off to the crew who did the job. The crew was professional, hard working and cleaned up after themselves. I will say, I am kind of kicking myself for not asking more about a wired attic fan vs solar one. I understand solar fan is just that much easier for them to install (no electrician needed) but having electrical already in my attic, I would have liked to also have air moving in the evenings when the sun goes down and the attic is still hot. It's too early to notice a big difference in efficiency but I do feel better about investing in my house with a Koality crew. (quality pun there)

They did a great job of inspecting the attic and making solid recommendations. After we approved the job they stated in constant contact until the crew came out to do the jog. The crew arrived on time, did the work and completely cleaned up after themselves. We are very pleased with the company and their work.

We recently used Koala to spray in loose insulation into our office attic. Our brand new AC was having a hard time keeping our space cool with this extreme Texas heat. Most afternoons our office was getting around 78-80° even with the AC running 24/7. Since the insulation install, we have had no problem keeping the office around 70°. Tyler, who came out to give the estimate, was friendly, thorough and explained everything to me so I could understand the quote. The gentlemen that came to do the installation were polite, clean and worked quickly. We are very happy with Koala and we highly recommend them!

The house was built in 1954, and definitely needed some TLC. The main issue was attic insulation. We decided to get Spray foam insulation one. We called to a several companies in Houston area, then got a few quotes. Tyler, Koala Insulation, was quick responding, showed up on time and what impressed the most was how knowledgeable he was. And made sure we are comfortable with all the information he was sharing with us. Then here you, the day of actual work. His team showed up on time (they said 8:15am, and knocked my door exactly at 8:15am!!!!!!!) You have to see how well prepared they were. They removed old insulation ( trust me it’s NOT fun job to be at attic in summer time in Texas), they cleaned the whole attic, and then spayed foam insulation (Eskimo?). And now, the last part is AFTER the job done. They tidy cleaned everything. To say, I’m happy with Koala Insulation, is less than I can say. It’s very professional company. The best job with a very reasonable price. This is the company who will not overcharge you. As some other company prices were ridiculously high to sky. Would highly recommend Koala Insulation.👍

We had Koala come in and blow insulation into our attic. The whole process was great, they came in and explained how to make the house more energy efficient and explained step by step what they were going to be doing and why. When the team came the following week all the guys were great and worked swiftly, in and out within a few hours. They even cleaned all their mess like they were never there. Truly great work!
