I booked a very specific date a few months ago and Jared and the team committed to that date, understood the importance of the winter break schedule. My job was unique and had some challenges, but their communication was fantastic. The guys showed up on time and the job was done in a timely manner and they cleaned up perfectly afterwards. Used Koala for blown-in insulation in a garage as well as replacing and installing new insulation and air barrier in a crawl space. So far I’ve had a great experience. Spoke with Victoria at the office and got an appointment for a free quote. Bryan came out and quoted and was very responsive throughout the process of options offering his guidance and expertise. Then Jon and his crew came out today and air sealed our home for heat leaks and blew in 6 inches of fiberglass insulation. They documented the process and kept me updated along the way. This occurred today so as of right now very pleased with the outcome.

I recently had Koala install insulation in my attic. There was a bit of miscommunication at first, and the initial install did not meet my expectations. However, Koala went above and beyond to make things right. They answered my calls on weekends and evenings, were always available and helpful, and took every concern seriously. A huge shout-out to BJ for patiently answering all of my questions and to Jeremy and Cristian for their hard work and professionalism. They were clean, thorough, patient, trustworthy, and kind while working in my home. Koala truly stands behind their work, and I would definitely use them again!

I live in an old 1930s house that had some access challenges, and very minimal insulation to start with. I got quotes from multiple companies, and the others were so timid about things, saying we'd have to cut through the drywall everywhere and do all this patching--just way more invasive and expensive. Jared from Koala came to give me a quote and right from the beginning was way more confident there would be the access needed to the whole attic space if they went in through the gables, and he was right! He gave me a range for the quote that included best and worst case scenarios, and luckily after instillation it ended up being the lower best case scenario price. They finished the entire job in ~2 hours and showed me lots of pictures of the finished work. Time will tell how much of a difference it makes this winter, but I am happy with their service. After talking to multiple insulation companies, these guys really were the easiest to trust, especially with a quirky old house. Highly recommend!

Cody, Ariel, Christian and BJ did excellent work in removing my attic insulation that sustained water damage from multiple areas of roof leakage. The new insulation looks incredible! They were very thorough in communication, efficiency, and in cleaning up at the end of the day. Since they left about an hour ago, I have been watching the indoor relative humidity quickly trend down to levels I haven't seen since the leaks were discovered. The additional air sealing and installation of a solar attic fan is certainly worth investing in as part of the package. I would recommend Koala Insulation time and time again. From the estimator to the install team, everything went smoothly and professionally. Of all the home improvements I’ve done this has been the one most worth the cost. Extreme attic temps were causing my AC to overheat and shut off, now my house is significantly cooler on hot days, humidity down, and my ac unit is functioning properly again in an attic 20-30 degrees cooler. and I expect to see my energy bill fall. If you live in an older house and struggle to cool it, this is the solution.

We are very pleased with every aspect of our service from Koala Insulation. Jared came out and inspected our attic, we thought we may have water damage due to roof damage from the recent storms, but he advised we did not. He was very professional, friendly & on time. We greatly appreciate his honesty!!! We asked for quote to upgrade our insulation. Jared provided the quote & advised that TVA currently has rebates so the cost is basically half price during this time. We scheduled the date for the upgrade insulation and air sealing to be done. Jon G. arrived right on time for the installation. He was also very professional, friendly & did a great job of cleaning up afterwards. He provided us with pictures of the work that was completed. He also went back over the TVA rebate program & how it works. The temperature has been much higher the past week and we can tell a big difference in the house already. BJ and John arrived exactly on time and ready to work. They were obviously experts and actually also found some defects in my HVAC ducts which they took pics of and pointed out so I could get them taken care of later. Jared from Koala Insulation was fantastic! He was very punctual and kept me updated on his arrival time. We had mice in our attic who had damaged some of our spray foam insulation. Jared took his time to look over everything and answer my many questions. What I appreciated most, however, was Jared’s honesty. I know very little about this issue and he could have taken advantage of that, but instead he assured me the damage was minor (since we trapped the mice so quickly) and could be easily remedied without their help. I wish all businesses operated as this one does. They were polite, friendly, hard-working, and responsive. AND they came on time when they said they would. My 75 year old house needed its insulation refreshed and supplemented, and some of the spaces were VERY hard to access. They worked hard and were uncomplaining about it. I am very impressed with them and I recommend them highly.

Great price, fast install. The crew couldn’t have be nicer! They did a great job cleaning up as well. While I picked the insulation I picked was for sound proofing a basement ceiling, I noticed an immediate improvement in climate upstairs. I’ll use this company the next time for sure!

I contacted Koala to remediate my attic. The estimate was easy, the price was great, and they went above and beyond to make this a great experience. Jackson and Brandon came out, set everything up, and started getting all of the old insulation removed. It was pretty quick. They blew new insulation back in and had it done within 6 hours. BJ put new decking down and installed LED lighting in the attic so I can get around easier when I need to get in there and now I can see the entire attic space. Can’t say enough about how efficient the process went. Thank you guys for doing a great job. It looks fantastic.

Koala Insulation of Nashville removed and replaced our attic insulation. As part of the project, they sealed up openings and fixtures. BJ, lead on project, was punctual, thorough, attentive and explained everything that needed to be done but allowed me to decide. He provided an estimate and stuck to it. No ugly surprises. The gentlemen who did the work were also punctual and thorough. I’ve never worked with a nicer or more respectful group. They clearly wanted me to be satisfied with their work. Koala Insulation of Nashville came out to remove our old insulation and replaced it with new blown-in fiberglass. The crew; Cody, Jackson, Zach, and Ronnie were very professional and friendly. They explained everything they were doing, problem solved and communicated well with us, and overall did and excellent job. They removed old plywood, air sealed, and installed an attic fan in addition to the blow in. Our attic is night and day from the old, sunk down insulation to the now new fiberglass at R-38. Koala just finished an attic insulation job for me and I’m very pleased. The team, BJ, Cody, Jackson and Victor were very thorough and professional. I would highly recommend Koala. I’ve already got them on schedule for future insulation needs in my home.

We are doing a full remodel of a 60s ranch and used Koala for our insulation needs. They did spray foam on our roof deck as well as our exterior walls. We also had them do rockwool on some of our interior walls for sound control. They did an excellent job, were very easy to deal with and had great communication. We added some things along the way could have been a pain for them as these areas were not originally quoted. They went out of their way to accommodate our additional requests and were reasonable on additional charges for our last minute addons. I would use them again and would definitely recommend them for your insulation needs.

Below is the email I sent to the company: "I am extremely unhappy with your services. I had to pick up dozens of screws from where the ceiling was removed off of my floor. A piece of the ceiling was left up. The lights were not put back up and most were left on my counter tops. One of the lights were left outside and was rained on overnight making is unusable. Antother was light was broken, with glass in my sink. Not all of the blown in insulation was removed. The foam insulation was not sprayed in the overhang area as was quoted to me by the salesman. (Photos attached for reference.) This is my home, the place where I live and sleep. I have never, ever had my home left such a mess after having work done. It is excedingly distrespectful! I now have to hire someone to come hang the new lights that I have to purchased to replace the damaged ones." Then when the electrician came out he discovered that there was a live wire hanging over my bed where they took that light down. I reached out to Koala via email. JD called me and I was at work and I explained that the best way to reach me was via email. I have not heard from anyone at the company since.

Holy smokes. A personable contractor? The thought that Jared has to deal with people (like me) all day long is a tiring thought, but he does, and he does it exceptionally well. He and his team from start to finish walked me through the full process and were able to deal with all my questions as if they had all the time in the world (which I know they did not). Installation was clear and professional.

Getting to say "I enjoyed working with these folks" is becoming less common. In my case it was true with this Nashville Koala franchise. Even though they are part of a large company this branch acts like a local shop by taking their work seriously and knowing a happy customer reflects on them not some anonymous regional manager. Everyone I dealt with was just a plain old nice person. They were responsive and easy to talk to, arrived on time, brought all the things they needed, had a good attitude, and did the work in a way I feel good about. My project was simple (putting in some batt insulation) but I would be willing to use them for more complicated interventions as well. Even though everything is more expensive these days I think I probably got what I paid for. It is always a good idea to shop around but I think you can feel confident if you choose this company.

Update. After sending out a cleaning person from Molly Maids. We are completely satisfied with the job. Garrett was a great sales person and made sure we got a $300 and $500 dollar rebate through NES and Davidson County. Accidents happen and how they responded shows how much integrity and care they have.

We were having some drywall/tape issues and we thought it may have been because of a lack of insulation. I called them and they made me an appointment with James Glenn. Their communication was excellent and when James got here he was knowledgeable, trustworthy and I found him easy to talk to. He did an inspection and found that what we thought wasn't the issue. He didn't try to sell me something that wasn't going to add value to our home or give us something we didn't need, that is trustworthy! He explained the area wasn't in need of that and was able to advise me to contact a contractor to check why this might be happening. I found the time spent with James was beneficial and should I ever need insulation or any of the other services he shared with me (like encapsulation) they will be my first call. Excellent service. My barn was a little unique as it had newly cut vertical oak boards. The crew did an excellent job of making sure the foam insulation did not bleed through the cracks of the seasoning wood. Great job guys!

In a world where it’s hard to find people that are happy to go above and beyond to help you, it was so refreshing to get that with every aspect of dealing with this company. I originally called them based on the great reviews and I’m so glad I did. We were having issues with our heat and air unit upstairs starting to have problems due to our house not being properly insulated. Chris, our sales rep, was very professional and recommended an affordable option for us and it didn’t feel like he was recommending options that didn’t make sense. Jackson, the guy who did the insulation install, was very professional and even showed up earlier than originally expected, which is rare when you have a time frame to expect someone. He showed me before and after pictures and even cleaned up after himself. We have a dog and she didn’t even freak out because their equipment was so quiet. I could already tell a difference in the temperature of our house being much cooler as they were doing the job and an even bigger difference after it was completed. He brought us a level of trust that felt like we were doing the correct enhancements for a fair price. He even went above and beyond and helped me with other issues we were having around our home. I hired Koala to improve the insulation over my garage, which is my master closet. John, Jackson and Garrett did a great job. Once they got there, they determined that the original plan was not going to work. We brainstormed, and they came up with a good workable plan. They kept me informed of what they were doing, they showed me the work before they closed up the walls, and they did a good job of cleaning up. With the job changes made on the fly, I was not charged more for the job which I'm sure cost them more. I would recommend the company to anybody that needs insulation work.

Koala Insulation re-insulated our attic and installed a solar attic fan and did a great job. They were open and transparent through the process, we received text alerts reminding us of our scheduled appointment and when they were on their way. The workers were courteous and professional. We are pleased and would recommend to others.

Their sales rep Jared did a great job explaining everything to me step by step and answered all of my questions. His team showed up on time the day we scheduled my foam spray in project. These guys were awesome, highly recommend.
