I got three different inspections/quotes from three different companies when I found termite damage on my property and Luis at HomeShield was by far the most thorough, communicative, and helpful. Though HomeShield's quote wasn't the lowest, Luis worked with me to make sure I got what I needed at a price that made sense and he made sure to answer all of my questions and address my concerns. All the technicians they sent were on time, gave me a heads-up when they were on their way, and did quick and professional work. Daniel was especially helpful explaining and executing the subterranean treatment and Rudy went above and beyond repairing the damaged woodwork. Appreciate them all and will definitely use them again if/when needed!

I been having a cloud of Mosquitoes for months now that I’m not able to go and enjoy my garden then my community recommended me Home Shield Pest Control. And I can tell you when they added my treatment then following day it was pouring rain for 1 week and I could not believe The treatment was still working. They still came by and sprayed after the rain till this point my mosquito problem is gone.Great in Communication, amazing prices and great service. What’s most important . I set up a consultation on my mother's behalf after she had concerns about rats in her garage. I called to get some info and set up an appointment, and luckily they had an opening the next day. I spoke to my mother after appointment and she was very happy with their knowledge and professionalism, and said that they were also very courteous and able to start service that day. He is thorough -- we first circled the house removing spider webs and such from the eves -- then sprayed around the perimiter. He also helped us when we had a cockroach problem early on --he is honest, straighforward -- a great tech. Definitely 5 star!

I have no doubt that it's possible that others had great experiences with this company - the high reviews is what got me in the first place - but after over 6 months of treatment for ants around my house, the situation has not gotten any better. In fact, it has gotten worse. And while nature will always find a way, I did not find customer service and technician support to be very understanding. The typical responses I got from the technicians was: "They're ants", "I don't see any today", "If you water your garden there will be ants", "I don't see any infestations". So ultimately you might give them a shot based on the overall reviews - just no that there is no full solution to ants in SoCal!<br><br>*edited as a supervisor did take responsibility and rectified an issue.*

This has been an incredibly frustrating experience. This company is disorganized, unhelpful, and extremely rude at times. My appointments were changed repeatedly without any warning, and every time I tried to get clarity, I received different answers depending on who answered the phone. It feels like nothing is tracked or communicated internally and the customer is left to deal with the chaos.<br><br>I was promised solutions that NEVER came, misled multiple times, and treated as though my concerns were unreasonable. The lack of accountability and the constant shifting of responsibility is infuriating.<br><br>Do yourself a favor and STAY FAR AWAY from HomeShield Pest Control. There are plenty of other pest control providers who actually know how to run their business and treat their customers with respect.

Your technician Braden I don’t know his last name has been terrific. He’s been helping me catch these critters and then coming and getting rid of them. But as we talk today, I need more work, which you know about, but he deserves more than five gold stars maybe 100.

We have signed up for pest, and mosquito service and he is good to check around for<br>Standing water and any changes that may be a problem for breeding grounds. This review is for the tech Brian. He is one of the kindest people I’ve worked with in service. He is efficient and quick. He takes the time to listen to the issue to address it correctly. Angel Mejía took care of our termite issue- he was at our house for five hours and diligente in getting every possible seea they may have been hiding. When making the appointments and bidding work they’re great and very attentive, however, as soon as they have the money, the work is subpar and their appointment availability is poor. Abraham was very thorough to clean the cobwebs which always collect in the garage. When he finished with the attached garage, he didn’t stop but asked if I would like my detached garage de-webbed as well! I left while he was spraying the yard, but noticed from my security camera that he de-webbed my pergola as well! Abraham is thorough even when no one is overseeing his work! I value that in a service!

Louis was thorough in his evaluation of my property for termites. His explanation was clear and personable. He was also with patient with my level of understanding. I highly recommend HomeShield to anyone with that has termite concerns.

Homeshield is a thorough pest company. We have had many techs come to help with the various issues we had and commend them for their great work. Timely, professional and courteous Luis, Adrian, Vladimir and their crews all did very clean and beautiful wood work/repairs along with termite treatment. Brian came to service the house for routine extermination services and sent me detailed information on everything that he did. Glad we chose this company.

Homeshield is a horrible company. Unprofessional and unreliable. I paid them $1600.00 to start the service and then I paid $45/month from Jan-Oct. They came to treat my property 3 times and I kid you not, were there for 30 mins max. In the original estimate, they took 15 photos of areas that needed treatment and literally only treated 3 areas. I would call them and they would say that they would call back and schedule a treatment time and would never call me back. Originally they wanted to tent my property, but because one of my tenants has small children and didn’t want their unit tented, I went with the treatment plan. Respecting my tenants wishes. More work for Homeshield, that they charged me for, but never fulfilled the contract. I cancelled them and cut my losses, because I just couldn’t take being lied too and ignored any longer. Please, for your sake, don’t make the same mistake I did and don’t hire Homeshield Pest Control.

From the date that I made my first call I had amazing service. AJ helped me on the phone and his customer service is superb. Every time I called, I got greeted by Friendly customer service reps. They were quick and willing to give me as much information as possible, addressing all my concerns. The scheduling process was super fast and the date of my treatment. Doggo came in with a super friendly and approachable attitude. He took the time to answer all my questions and address all my concerns as well. The service was quick, but very thorough and his follow up call gave me peace of mind that our roach problem will be resolved at home. I highly recommend this company not only is their service five stars but their prices are decently affordable. I got a whole year of service and I’m looking forward to continuing doing business with them. If you have a bug problem, call them ASAP.

Luis Robles was beyond amazing!! Probably one of the best technicians in any area who has ever come to our home. His attention to detail was impeccable. We have an ant problem and this is our first time using an exterminator. Richard was very reassuring regarding the effectiveness of their products and how Home Shield stands behind their work. The entire experience with Home Shield has been great. Called Orkin to compare prices and they were MUCH more expensive and then they tried to pressure me into making an appointment with them immediately. When I refused, they kept leaving messages saying they could do better on the price. Probably should've led with that.

Terrible follow through. Sales person says one thing and then the technician does the bare minimum. Spent more time talking about his dog than the actual job. Sales person talks a good talk on what the service will include but none of that was done until we mentioned it to the tech as he was trying to leave with barley any work done.I would look elsewhere for pest control. I requested my cancellation fee to be waived. Supposed to hear back in 1-2 days.

I don't often panic about termites but when I do, it's HomeShield to the rescue! (It's swarming season, after all) Tarik showed up and did a thorough walk-through of our home, explaining what we need to look out for. His friendly demeanor is exactly what we've come to expect from all HomeShield staff.

I've been using HomeShield for a while now, and Roland is my go-to guy for keeping the ants at bay. He comes on a schedule but also responds fast if I need treatment in between appointments. This summer I also signed up for their mosquito-abatement service, and I'm very pleased with that result as well. Definitely recommend this company.

The technician who came out was polite, but the service was rushed, incomplete, and not what was promised. The inside treatment lasted less than two minutes; I had to ask about pet safety (I was not informed otherwise), and the exterior was only sprayed in a few spots. No rodent bait was placed until I insisted; even then, only one was used with attitude ( I found out that they were supposed to put two. I PAID for two)<br><br>The inspector who came later admitted the job was not done correctly, apologized, stated that he would document it, and advised me to call. When I called the company, I was ignored, put on hold, and never called back. I called today and asked to speak with a supervisor. I was told they could send a manager to “re-do” the job for FREE (it doesn't make sense), It has been two day pass from contract and I asked to cancel it and they told me they could wave the $150 penalty but they refused to refund my $150 even though the service was not performed correctly.<br>The supervisor told me she would send an email with the cancellation, but I have not received it yet.<br>Hopefully, the owner will read it and have the decency to pay back our $150.00.<br><br>As seniors, my husband and I felt dismissed and taken advantage of. I will be reporting this company to the BBB. Please don’t be misled by the 5-star reviews—my experience was the opposite.

I hired Home shield pest control to come to my house and exterminate. They went above and beyond to accommodate making sure knew exactly when they would arrive. Not sure yet!<br>I used them for the first time yesterday. Carson worked with me and gave me a reasonable deal over the phone which I appreciate.<br>But I certainly did not wish to enter a year-long commitment with a penalty equal to the discount amount for early cancellation.<br><br>I still don’t know how effective their method of treatment is for our ongoing aunt and wasp infestation, but as soon as I see any results, I will leave another comment here.<br><br>Roland, showed up, he had a good attitude and was easy going, he was quick and left very quietly without saying goodbye! That being said, he left without removing the wasp nests that were on the outside of the property, and just sprayed the opening on the side of the roof where they were getting in and out.<br>I initially expressed my concerns that there are wasps inside the walls of the house. I requested the removal of the infestation, not just spraying inside the walls to kill them and leaving the remains behind which can cause odor, secondary pest issues, and potential structural damage.<br>I emphasized again, that I would need the nest removed from the inside and not just spray from the outside.<br>Carson assured me that the technician would inspect the situation and proceed accordingly. .<br><br>* I gotta say, after going through and reading buncha other people’s comments, I’m surprised to see how many different technicians work for this company!<br>Hopefully that’s a good sign!<br><br>* I also noticed something else which made me question the accuracy of the reviews!<br>A lot of comments ( newest on top ) were answered but the owner of the company but also edited only 2 days ago, back to back! And I found only one comment from 4 days ago that only had one star which obviously suggests they were unhappy about the service, but nobody from the company, (owner) responded to that comment at all! Hmmmm???

Our technician, Jose, was exceptional. He contacted me prior to arrival and was right on time. He explained everything he would be doing and I received a report promptly upon completion. He was friendly and personable and met all my expectations for the initial service visit. I will definitely put in a request for Jose for the next treatment!
