El was very knowledgeable and helpful. He walked me through the process and did an inspection. He even mentioned some pest I never even heard of before we’re located on the outside. He also mentioned I may have termites, which is good to know so that I can address it.<br><br>I was just making a cornbread and chicken recipe I saw on TikTok.. of course, we weren’t prepared for him to spray in the inside of the house because I was cooking. My initial call was for flies, but I asked him if he could take care of any spiders and come back another day just so I won’t deal with bugs, flies or spiders.

Aaron was so professional, knowledgeable, friendly, respectful, and efficient! He inspected my room for what appears to be cigarette/fabric beetles. I had some dead ones I kept in a tissue and he carefully put them in a sticky box as samples for further inspection and shared his initial thoughts while ensuring that a lab test would confirm the actual results (others who have come just looked at them, speculated, and said to take a picture and that they'd send someone else again *deep sigh*). After inspecting my room some more he finished up and gave me clear next steps. A few minutes after he left he gave me a call and said he might have an explanation for what's going on. He had checked his bug "bible" and showed me what he believed to be the culprit, how they may have gotten here, and what treatment would be needed. He again gave clear next steps and said he'd follow-up. Aaron was the third person who has come to inspect the issue (others were from a different company) and he was the only one who maintained outstanding professionalism and knowledge of the issue, and gave me honest peace of mind. Very grateful for this experience!! That man deserves a raise!!

I got a visit from head inspector Aaron today to inspect for bedbugs. He is polite, personable and extremely knowledgeable on the topic. The inspection was quick and we’re now scheduling a treatment for my home. I've used A Step Above Pest Control for several years and have always had a good experience with them. I'm on a quarterly service and they call ahead to let me know when they're coming and to find out if there are any areas of concern. They treat the outside of the property and if I request it, the inside too. No issue with any bugs and they let me know once that a grate was missing and should be replaced to prevent critters from getting under the house.

He also gave me suggestions for mitigation to go along with the treatment as well as next steps to take in case the bugs do come back. Very impressed with the job so far!

Apartment manager, I had treatment performed 2 times same problems. Large roaches, I was told it would take approximately 10-14 days to kill pest. Came out twice Jan 9th & Jan 29, 2025. As of today feb 16,2025. We still have activity. The tech’s were very nice and friendly. Still have the pest problem though. Now I must call another pest company.that’s more than a month. I did have patients waiting for the treatment to work, But🤪 2 stars were for technicians.

I recently had A Step Above Pest Control come to my apartment and I was blown away by Josephina's service. She was on time, very professional & friendly and went above and beyond to make sure the roaches in my apartment were no longer going to be an issue for me moving forward. She was super knowledgeable and asked specifically what I was seeing and if I had any pictures. She then made sure each crack and crevice of my apartment and garage were treated with different sprays and that I was aware of where they could be hiding or coming from. Her work ethic was impeccable and her warm hearted personality made the experience smooth and so much easier. Wholeheartedly would have them come back and definitely request for Josephina! They have always handled my pest control problems with care and expediency and gotten rid of the problems. Even a very bad bee infestation in a chimney in one of my buildings was done by quickly and the bees didn’t home back again as they had done with other pest control companies and it’s been over 10 years.

Josephine was very nice informative and supportive. She answered all questions I had and walked me through everything as far as to what to expect and what to look for. I had no idea what to do before she got here as far as moving furniture or appliances but she told me to grab my kids and go relax she'd handle it, and before I knew it she was done . I had a site evaluation for termites done today after a different company did an evaluation and decided not to proceed with a treatment. I still insisted that there was a problem, so a Step Above came to do it and I was impressed by the technician, El-rodrick. He went out of his way to listen to my concerns, allowed me to ask questions, and check areas that may be the source of the infestation. To my surprise, he was able to find something significant that others were not, and there are tentative plans for treatment now. Thank you specifically to El-rodrick for going above and beyond what he needed to do to help me. He is excellent and should be commended for his work.
