James was super friendly and Informative about what he was doing, was sweet to my dogs, and even cleaned up after himself!!!! (Something I'd have thought standard but literally not a single other contractor has vacuumed up or even removed leftover debris or materials so this totally made him stand out as amazing!) Colorado Home Services installed a solar fan on our roof along with vents in July 2021. It is a Remington fan that stopped working a month ago. That was only 3 years ago and the thermostat has a burn melt spot on it. I called to speak to the owner Andrew who actually sold it and installed it for us to talk to him and to get him to correct it for us. The person I talked to would not let me to talk to him and they were evasive when I asked for him. I explained we were having an issue with our fan they installed incorrectly and they wanted to charge us $250 to just look at it. The fan is under warranty and Remington the fan company said it should have never been installed with a switch. She also said they talked to the company about how they had been installing the fans incorrectly. We are seniors and my husband is a disabled vet and they really should correct their mistake instead of charging us to correct their mistake. It’s like we threw our money away and they took advantage of us. We went with this company because Andrew provided great service and answered our questions and we trusted him. It seems they have gotten bigger and they don’t care about their customers. They really need to correct this problem, they got our money and now we have a very hot upstairs and attic!

I was told they would be there between 11 and 1pm to install my attic fan. I took off time from work to be at my house for the install. Around 1pm I got a call from RJ telling me now it would be more like 3 to 4pm before the installers would show up. Well at 4pm no show, I call RJ and he says well maybe another half hour or so. At this point very frustrated, I explained how I had to take time off work to be there (costing me money), only to be stood up several times throughout the day. I ended up cancelling after no real empathy or any form of potential compensation on the bill from RJ for making me sit around all day ( as if my time is not important) waiting for them to show up. This was my first experience with this company, all the reviews looked great, but the customer service was a terrible experience for me. They did not go out of their way one bit to try to fix the situation. Really disappointed, but I guess that is how things are now. Just trying to post an honest review.

I had a whole house fan and an electrical socket installed. I started the process by talking to Nate. He helped me decided on the model and was very informative with all of my questions. Chance and Grayson came out the next week and was very professional at what they do. After the installation, they cleaned up their mess and we went over the fan and tips and trick to help cool the upstairs. The overall process went very smoothly and I highly recommend Colorado Home Cooling.

Colorado Home Cooling installed a QuietCool whole house fan for us. The entire process was very smooth and professional. It took only a 15-minute phone call to get a very detailed and flexible proposal, they were ready for install 2 days after we accepted the proposal and the installers were extremely polite, professional, thorough, detail-oriented and great at their jobs. We love the result and it was less than 48 hours from initial contact to fan install!

Excellent service and effective solution. Attic fan showed immediate results the day it was installed, cooling the upstairs bedrooms by at least 5 degrees more than previously possible. Also saves money by reducing use of air conditioning. Love the QuietCool attic fan with three speeds, automatically triggered by temperature changes in the attic. Can be monitored and controlled remotely through smart phone. The employees Nate, Jake, and Carl answered all questions in a friendly manner and were very professional and efficient in their work.

CHC installed a QC whole house fan for us. The process from start to finish was pleasant. Juan helped with getting us a quote and Cesar and David did the install, very professional. It was unclear whether we would need additional vents in the attic, but after coming out for the install and looking, it was determined we didn't need them and it was removed from the quote/invoice. I appreciate this kind of honesty from a business. As for the actual product, the fan was worth every penny. It can cool the second level of our home in about 10 minutes. I don't anticipate us having to use our air conditioner much in the future. Solid product and install, thanks.

Andrew and Cam installed two fan systems in our home. They were very professional. One of the ceilings they had to install in has a specialty finish. They were very careful to not damage it and even painted the register to match ( with paint we provided ). Couldn't be more pleased with the work and the systems. Thanks!!

When it comes to home services, CHC sets the bar exceedingly high. They installed a whole house fan that dramatically reduced the amount I need to run my AC. They were on time, professional, and completed the install faster than expected (~3.5 hours). They cleaned up after and took some time to train me on the many ways I could use the fan to save energy and improve comfort in my home, some of which I wouldn't have thought of. In an industry where low expectations seems to be the norm, to say that CHC exceeds expectations is an understatement.

They responded quickly to my request for a quote and provided a concise yet thorough estimate for the project. The guys arrived early for our appointment. The installation went well and we love our whole house fan. They took the time to explain how to operate. The final cost of the project was in line with the estimated cost. Colorado Home Cooling came out to our house and installed 3 attic vents. We'd had an attic fan installed recently by a local company. The advice the other company had given us was not good. Overall I had an excellent experience with Colorado Home Cooling installing a QuietCool fan. The process, from reaching out through installation, was quick and painless. On installation day, the crew showed up on time, evaluated the site, and told me we would have to drop down to the next smaller model given space constraints in the attic. They had all of the required items with them, and this didn't involve any delay! Installation was quick and clean, and before heading out they gave me thorough instructions on how to use everything. Performance has been great, and I've been using the fan daily. I ended up making some changes to how the fan is controlled (I am very particular about my smart home setup!) and ran into a small surprise where things seemed to deviate from the installation instructions. The owner of Colorado Home Cooling was quick to reach out and talk me through why things didn't look quite like I expected and assuage any concerns I had. I'm confident that everything was installed safely and correctly. I wouldn't hesitate to recommend Colorado Home Cooling to anyone who's looking for a whole house fan. The entire purchase-to-install process from start to finish was easy, efficient and professional. The quote was delivered and executed without even having a house inspection beforehand. While having a whole house fan installed in the dead of winter might seem a tad off, it actually made the scheduling easy and the install more comfortable since there was no heat in the attic to content with. The manufacture's rebate also played into the timing to purchase and install in February. I appreciated the initial collaboration with the installer, Carl beforehand to determine the most visual appealing spot for the intake panel, where the wall controls would be most appropriate, and placement of the fan in the attic so that it would have the least amount of noise impact for the house. Carl finished the job in under 3 hours, left the house spotless and explained how to achieve the most efficient use of the product once the summer heat arrives. A big 5-star rating for the entire process!

Overall fantastic experience with CO Home Cooling & Daylighting! I did my research on whole house fans and narrowed the companies down to two – CO Home Cooling & Daylighting and another established company. My schedule was a critical factor as accessing our attics is a bit cumbersome and I wanted to have the fan installed while my family was out of down. The other company had an opening that worked with my schedule so that is who I went with originally. However, after the other company arrived it became apparent that that we had differing expectations on how the dust and debris from cutting into the plaster ceiling would be contained. I had envisioned erecting a “plastic tent,” but the other company’s tech said that those materials were mistakenly left at the shop. I asked if he could go back and get them? Or, if he would wait while I ran to Home Depot? The tech, who seemed nice enough, called his boss to ask. The answer was “no.” I asked what the plan was? The tech said he could open a window and place a fan in front of it and then while one guy was cutting another would stand below with a vacuum. This sounded like a disaster waiting to happen. While the tech waited to start, I called and spoke with a manager/owner (?) of the other company and pleaded to let the tech return to the shop to pick up the necessary materials or alternatively wait while I ran to Home Depot. The other company’s owner/manager (?) told me he didn’t want the job to turn into a whole day endeavor - without any acknowledgment that we’re they to proceed I would be spending a whole day cleaning up their mess. I asked the other company’s tech to leave. Shame on me for not clarifying upfront our respective expectations. My experience with CO Home Cooling & Daylighting was the exact opposite – Andrew, the owner, bent over backwards to have a crew arrive the following day while my family was still out of town. They arrived and laid out plastic tarps where they were working and then tented with plastic the area where plaster was being cut. Jordan and Chance did an excellent job and left it cleaner than when they arrived! Better yet, CO Home Cooling & Daylighting was about 10% less expensive than the other original company (for the same fan and number of vents). I rarely take the time to write reviews, but CO Home Cooling & Daylighting allowed me to get everything done on schedule – without having to clean up a huge mess! Thank you.

I couldn’t be happier with this company. Besides the fact that their customer service is amazing, their pricing can’t be beat. We got a whole house fan installed and the process was so easy. Jordan and Chase were on time, they were very respectful and professional and they had the job done in a flash. They also made sure that the job site was fully cleaned before they left. Jordan did a very professional job installing our Quiet Cool whole house fan (WHF). Job took about 4 hours to complete that included installing two roof vents to the existing roof vents on the house to aid in the ventilation of the attic. He did a great job cleaning up the drywall dust after the job was finished. He also answered all of my questions, there were a lot of questions, prior to beginning the install. Looking forward to our upstairs bedrooms being cool during summer evenings since our central air conditioning fails to keep the upstairs cool.

CO Home Cooling and Daylighting installed 3 sun tunnels for us. The crew arrived on time and it was clear they knew what they were doing. The price was all very clearly communicated and overall the experience with them was highly professional and hassle free. I'd definitely recommend them if you're considering a sun tunnel.

We had a whole house fan installed. The team at Colorado Home Cooling showed up with their crew on time and went right to work cutting vents, installing the the electrical and the fan. They were fast courteous and above all else did great work! Also the whole house fan is a super efficient cooling system! When temps drop below 68 at night we turn the fan on and it cools down the house and replaces the hot attic air with cool air keeping the house cool well into the afternoon the next day!

There was an issue of a difference in the price between the quote given me and what was charged. However, the owner made good and refunded me the difference. I was wanting to get an attic fan and used this company. I found them online when googling a different company. Thank goodness that I liked their reviews. This company is amazing. I sent a request for estimate online and they called me and spoke to me and answered every question I had. Explained everything about attic fans and asked me what I was looking for and explained the combination of attic fan and whole house fan would be best for what I wanted. I decided to get the combo and it WAS THE BEST MONEY EVER SPENT on cooling for our home. The install guys were awesome and very professional. We had a whole house fan installed and love it! We have an old house with no central AC, and have been getting by using window ac units and swamp coolers esp on our second floor. Carl and Cameron installed a QuietCool whole house fan and installed more ventilation to keep from pulling exhaust from our furnace and hot water heater in the basement. They were friendly, punctual, clean and professional. They were patient with our questions and answered them fully. This new fan is very quiet yet powerful enough to bring in adequate air from the outdoors. We are very happy with their work and can highly recommend them to others.

Installed an attic vent van to go with our whole house fan. They had to special order it since we wanted a bluetooth enabled one but Marcella was great with communication, letting us know where the product was and the timeline for installation. On the day of install, our tech was phenomenal - going up into our 145° and installing the fan and answering questions for us. He also cleaned up thoroughly which was much appreciated. The fan now keeps our attic at a reasonable 100 to 110° During the hot hot days so our AC doesn’t have to kick on as much.

I contacted Colorado Home Cooling for information about the quiet cool system and a solar attic fan. The price seemed a little steep initially, but I can now can say that the ROI has shattered my expectations. I lowered my electricity bill significantly just by using the system moreover my AC and my house remained very comfortable. In fact, I didn't need to use my AC at all at night, and frequently in the last couple of months, I would wake to my smart thermostat giving a low-temperature alarm (see image). The entire experience was pleasant, and I would recommend Colorado Home Cooling & Daylighting to anyone and everyone who is looking into these systems.

Great install team came in and within 4 hours had evaluated our attic ventilation requirements, came up with a plan, and installed our Quiet Whole House Fan. These guys made it look easy and had plenty of experience. If you live in the Front Range this such a fantastic idea to cool the home with our mountain air in an economical way.

My whole house fan has been amazing. During the summer, I never run the AC at night anymore. Additionally, running the house fan in the morning allows me to not turn on my AC all day on 90 degree days and come home from work to a house that only heated up to 80. The sun tunnels have transformed the dark areas of my house as well. Very pleased with them. My bathroom tunnel offered way more light than what I was getting from my window. Furthermore, the service was great. It was extremely easy to get an appointment set up for installation within a week, and Andrew and Jordan were extremely knowledgeable and worked with me to ensure that everything was set up and running to my satisfaction. Definitely would highly recommend!

Had this installed during a week where every day was over 90. We could tell the first night we made the right decision and have absolutely no regrets. We run it for a couple of hours starting at around 8:30 or 9 in the evening to cool off the upstairs for bedtime, then again in the morning to bring in are to main floor. Our air conditioner runs about half the time it did the past and the house just "feels better" and more evenly cooled. The team that did our install were on time, did a great job and explained how to use the fan in a clear, concise manner. Thank you!

Chance Jenkins and his assistant we’re promptly on time. They were both very respectful, professional and informative. The installation of our whole house fan was placed where we preferred it to be, regardless of how difficult the installation may have been and they were happy to do it. When the installation was complete they picked up after themselves and practically vacuumed the entire carpet. Chance explained the fan operation thoroughly, so I would feel comfortable about operating it. We were lucky to have such wonderful installers.

I have nothing but great things to say about Colorado Home Cooling & Daylight. From the minute I called, they were professional, gave me my information and options, set a quick installation date, great installers, and best of all, the fan. I don’t know how I’ve lived for 6 years without it. It will cool house in less than an hour. One morning I had it on and it brought the house temp down to 63, and I had to put on long sleeves!!!! Sometimes I leave it on low all night and it’s so quiet I originally opted for the remote, but it had a few glitches, and with one call, they came out and hardwired the fan for no cost. So great customer service, a great fan and a great company. 1000 percent satisfied.

I recently had a Quiet Cool TritonPro whole house fan installed by Colorado Home Cooling & Daylighting. The entire process ran incredibly smoothly from start to finish, even when I had to reschedule at the last minute as a consequence of being stranded out of state by Southwest Airlines. Marcela helped me decide which fan was appropriate for my home and even provided me with the average decibel output for each fan on each setting. Cam and Camden were the installers and they couldn't have been more professional and efficient. They showed up on time, explained every step of the process, gave me a detailed accounting of cost and venting space needed and installed the system expeditiously. When the process was completed, they cleaned up after themselves and actually left my house in better condition than when they arrived. We were in a new (to us) house and didn't realize that the cooler was substandard until the heat wave hit. Despite being the busiest time of year, we received excellent personal service. Carl and crew were super respectful and very efficient. Andrew the company owner came by at the end of the installation to meet us and to check the work. Not only is our house much cooler now, we are using less electricity, and haven't turned the cooler on since the whole house fan was installed, even with the 90+ degree days. It was really nice to work with a locally owned business. I would reach out to them again if the need arises.

Excellent service from beginning to end. Front office: Very responsive for an estimate request. Low pressure estimate provided via email and Marcela was incredibly helpful with the few questions I had. She initially quoted me a cheaper (and viable) option but we opted for a more expensive option with two fans instead. Though both options would have been suitable, Marcela was never the least bit pressuring for the more expensive route. Install: Sean and Cam were very professional, kind, and respectful. They did a great job installing, cleaning up, and then answering questions after. I really appreciated how this was their only job for the day so they weren’t pressured to rush and cut corners. The fans: We opted for two Quiet Cool fans. Both fans are great and work extremely well. Have some realistic expectations though. You are unlikely to eliminate the need for A/C if you’re on the front range. When nights don’t get below 70, you’re likely going to need your A/C on instead. With that said, these definitely reduce your usage of A/C, provide a way to refresh the stale air in your home, and even eliminate the need for A/C when the temps aren’t in the 90’s for a week at a time.

The installers arrived a few minutes before they were scheduled. They were fast, respectful, and took care to protect our belongings while they worked. They made sure we understood how to operate the fan and gave us advice on when to run it to make the most of our purchase. We live in an old home that has felt like an oven at night on a fair day, especially if the temperature outside reaches 80°. The fan has worked wonderfully since we installed it and we're actually not dreading the warmer weather for the first time!

The experience from CHCD was amazing from start to finish. They responded to my quote request on Saturday within an hour. Andrew, the owner, was clear and concise. I usually do most of my own work on my house, but I did not want to get on the roof. I had a tough idea of where I wanted to put the whole house fan, but after they came out and inspected, they found a better location! This was all done via video chat while I was at work and my wife was at home! Carl and Oscar were great! Install went great and fast! We were able to test the whole house fan this weekend and it was nice to sleep in cool weather without turning on the ac before bed! I also got a solar attic fan, I will have to go up in the attic, in the summer, to see how it is working.

We have used Colorado Home Cooling & Daylight (CHC) to install 1) a whole house fan about 10 years ago - its saved us thousands, its quite and it does an immediate job of clearing out old, hot stale air in the summer. Two years after that we had them back out to add more insulation in our attic, this again has saved us money and made the house more stable and warm and cool. Last month we had them out again to install two sun tunnels to add some much need light in our stairwell heading upstairs and also one in one of the upstairs bathrooms. The sun tunnels have added so much light and look really cool. we also love the nightlight feature on them which gives a nice soft glow at night as well. CHC has been responsive, reasonably priced, timely and polite with each installation. We will be using them yet again to add a few skylights as well. We could not be happier working with them and have no issues with any the work they have done on our 1970's house. before and after of the stairwell (dark vs light)

UPDATE - 4 years later Still great! We use the fan to cool our house and only need the evaporative cooler a few weeks a summer. Very happy with the install and the product! --------- Just installed the whole house fan yesterday so I can only comment on the install. Ryan and Kenny were both very professional. We discussed the work to be done and the price before they started any work. Ryan made sure the quote for the day matched the quote we received over the phone. They did a great job of closing off the area so dust and dirt did not get into the house and they did a great job of cleaning up. It was like a fan magically appeared on my roof. Ran the fan last night and the house definitely cooled down, but not exactly like I was expecting. But with time and trial and error I'm sure I can get better results. I'm remiss in posting this review so late-- but I've got to say that I am SO pleased with my fan! When the guys arrived (on time) to do the install, it was one of those 100 degree days. They were up in the attic and on the roof and did an amazing job. They even painted the extra vents to match the existing ones. Everything was topnotch and so professional. We love our fan from CHC! We purchased the Quiet Cool Trident Pro and it definitely cools our house, without the need for air conditioning. Everyone we've spoken with in the company has been extremely friendly and helpful. Installation was fast and efficient. I called later to have vents painted, as we didn't discuss that at the time of installation, and they were out in two days to paint all four roof vents.

Colorado Home Cooling is absolutely amazing! From first contact and even after installation A+++ group. Everyone we dealt with was super friendly and patient answered all of our questions and they always responded within a couple of hours even after hours....so refreshing to work with a company that is so responsive! If anyone needs a model for what customer service should be just take notes from these guys! Our house was not a cookie cutter install either. They are very thorough, we thought we were going to have to have a Vertical install, but Ryan crawled up in our wickedly hot attic and took the time to give us all of our options. Boy did they deliver! They were able to install in the vault of our hallway ceiling! Also helped open up areas of our attic that the builder failed to do. Now 2 nights using the Quiet Cool fan and 6 roof vents later we couldn’t be happier! Our house has never been so cool....the airflow is phenomenal! This is hands down one of the best companies I have ever worked with. Their customer service is truly above and beyond. Every employee I spoke with from the beginning was very friendly, professional, and helpful. We chose them originally because their pricing was reasonable and they were very helpful and had great reviews. The guys that set up the fan for us were very nice and did an excellent job, and cleaned up 100% before they left. We originally went with the Quiet Cool Stealth fan, and after a few days, my husband wasn't happy with the fan because he grew up an old-school attic fan, and was just expecting something different and more air flow. Marcella listened to our concerns, and wanted to make sure we were satisfied with our new product and said she would do everything possible to make it right. She called back to let us know they would swap the fan out for a different style, free of charge. This was truly a HUGE blessing for us, and I feel that most companies would not do that, and now we absolutely love love LOVE our whole house fan. Very fast but professional installation. The original quote had allowances for adding roof vents, but after inspecting the roof on the day of installation, the installers explained that no additional roof vents were actually needed. I appreciated the honesty, which saved us money. I run the fan at night to bring the whole house down below 70 degrees, and even today with an outside temperature of 91, the AC still hasn't turned on as of almost 1pm. My only regret is not getting this installed sooner!

Colorado Home Cooling installed a whole house fan for us a few years ago. It was life changing. Our upstairs was impossible to keep cool and made for many sleepless nights. Since installation we barely run our a/c anymore. Run the fan at night and close up the house in the morning and we stay cool all day! We're really happy with our whole house fan a year later. Everything works great, they were willing to travel to Colorado Springs to install ours, the installation was really unobtrusive and we have a toddler so we appreciated that. It's not too loud-which was a big consideration for my partially deaf husband.Veteran owned. Overall really happy with this solution to keeping our house at reasonable temps.

We LOVE our whole house fan! We got it installed 2 years ago and it works so amazingly well. We don’t have air conditioning and don’t feel the need since having this. Our electricity bills in the summer are always so low, too. We are always sad to have to stop using it when winter rolls in, as we also love the white noise it makes. We had Colorado Home Cooling install a Quiet Cool in our 1920’s bungalow in 2018. It completely eliminated our need for A/C and is so quiet! What a great experience. Ryan and Russ arrived on time to replace our two roof mounted attic vent fans. During the install they realized the previous installed fans were wired incorrectly and the roof cutout was too small, so they fixed both and added a switch to manually turn off the fans when needed. They also identified a couple of small roof leaks and added some flashing and sealed until we can get a full repair. My wife asked them to see if they could find where a squirrel was bale to access the roof and they were able to block three areas where it was entering the attic. Great experience if you need work on your home from a great company, you should call Colorado Home Cooling.

We have had attic fans installed at two properties. Both times were fantastic. Our home was left cleaner than it has been before install. We've loved having the option to use the attic fan to cool the house, especially in the spring and early summer. It definitely reduces our AC usage. I recommend Ryan and Colorado Home Cooling to anyone who wants to enjoy fresh air cooling and an even temperature throughout your home. As a repeat customer, I have used Ryan's company twice now in two separate homes and have been completely satisfied both times. Our recent "downsized" home was a ranch with a 20 degree swing between the basement and main floor. Air conditioning never solved the problem because a comfortable temp on the main floor translated into a freezing cold basement. Ryan installed a Quiet Cool fan on our main floor and now all I use to cool our home is the cool Colorado evening air, which brings our house to a nice, even, fresh air cool. We even use a blanket at night. Ryan is Great. He worked with us to find the perfect out of the way placement for the fan. Our hallway was too narrow for the fan, even though the hall was the obvious place for it. The easiest install for Ryan would have been in the main living room, but we wanted it more out of the way. Instead of pushing us for the easiest install choice for himself (or just flat out saying "this is where it has to go"), Ryan worked with us to find the perfect solution for us even though it meant a bit more work for himself. Colorado is the perfect climate for these fans, and Ryan is a seasoned pro at installing them. Its the best decision you will ever make!

I LOVE my whole house cooling system!! It was definitely money well spent. I have a two story home and the AC would not cool the upstairs to the temperature that I wanted. Now with the whole house fan, I flip a switch before going to bed and it cools the room down almost instantly. I like to sleep in a really cold room and this was the solution I needed! This company sells both the traditional and Quiet Cool fans and they will advise you on the pros and cons of both completely unbiased. We got estimates and whole house cooling advice from two companies, the information and advice from CO Home Cooling was much better than the other company, they took the time to understand what we needed and advised the best setup for our specific needs. We were most impressed with Colorado Home Cooling from the initial contact with Chris, in the office to Jordan and Fred, who did the install. I dropped by their office one day, unannounced, and the place is spotless --- even their warehouse, where they store their merchandise! It is extremely well organized and very clean & tidy! Chris was very knowledgeable and did not try to "upsell" me. My husband and I wanted a larger fan then Chris thought was necessary and advised us against trying to install it because it just wouldn't fit in the space we had available. But they brought both fans on the truck and Jordan said the larger one just really wasn't an option for us. They did very quick work installing both the fan and the vents that go on the roof. Cleaned up completely after they were done. Very nice young men and very knowledgabe about what they were doing and answered every question we had. The whole process took only about three hours which included installing 5 roof vents and painting them to match the others on my house. The price came out exactly as it was quoted over the phone and the fan works great. They use a high quality large blade fan that is both efficient and quiet, paired with self opening/closing louvers that look inconspicuous when closed.
