Cenco Roofing

We hired Cenco for gutter guards and a minor roof repair. We went with them mainly based on the excellent reviews and honest and clear communication up front in the pre-sales process. That was all excellent. I left a three-star review because I was disappointed in the execution. Mid-way through the gutter job (they had missed a few gutters and didn't complete a downspout) I got a text that said the job had been completed. I had to make multiple phone calls to get someone out first to confirm it wasn't completed and then another person to finish the job. Sometime during all of this, we got a late charge bill even though the job hadn't been completed. They removed the late charge and as far as I can tell the work is solid but when we expressed these concerns/feedback I would've expected a response from the service department. During the services portion, I literally felt like I was project managing the project. All in all good but paying top dollar for a roofer, I expected a better experience.

Lorenzo Reyes came out to do a roof inspection. He was very honest, polite and professional very trust worthy I would highly recommend!

Really great experience. This company was recommended by a neighbor when I noticed a soft spot in my roof. I had a new roof installed 8 years ago and didn’t want to get talked into replacing things that didn’t need replacing or being sold something I didn’t need. Chris M met me at the house right on time, checked the area and confirmed it was normal flex and no repair was necessary. He was kind and professional and there was no charge for the consultation. They will definitely have my business when I do need roof repair.

I could have rated Chris at a 3 for doing his job of inspecting my gutter (which is all I wanted) and roof. But he went beyond that, even though my roof had no problems, he said my gutter had a lot of grit and gravel from the roof and he could have it replaced. However, I could have rated him as a 4 because he recommended it be cleaned out to see if that would solve the problem. I rated him at 5 because he volunteered to clean out the short clogged section of the gutter. This way above an average job! Thank you

Got a very accurate estimate from Cenco for both our tile roof and a portion of our gutter that was not draining properly. They did a fantastic job and our roof looks brand new now. The gutter and fascia repair looks great as well , and has been tested twice now with a few big downpours.Ben and Taylor did a great job walking us through what needed to be done. Sam was great. Needed to have my roof inspected. I had a good amount of questions as who knows what is damage and what is normal wear and tear. He was able to show me the condition in detail of our roof with pictures. Turns out our roof is in good condition and no need for repair or replacement at this time. Ben and Rex came out and did the roof inspection for all 3 of my houses. They were honest about their findings unlike some other roofers I’ve called out recently. They were extremely friendly and I will definitely use Cenco in the future because of them!

We contacted Cenco Roofing after they had posted an advertisement at our child's school. We needed a roof replacement and were initially drawn to the fact that they were a local neighborhood business. After signing the contract, the sales manager became extremely difficult to reach, was rude, and did not follow through on promises. The production manager over-ordered materials that sat on our property for months after the completion of the roof - the insurance was also charged for the excess materials. Cenco sub-contracts out their crew who damaged two windows and a patio table. Several of our neighbors used Cenco and also had a poor experience. Cenco is not transparent with their invoicing to insurance providers and submits different material/labor costs to maximize their profit. A neighbor with the exact same roof (same home/floorplan) was charged thousands more. Lastly, Cenco did not provide a final invoice until 6 months after the completion of the project and included late fees on the invoice. The senior administrator did wave the late fees and also provided a credit for the damaged windows and patio table. I would 1000% not recommend Cenco Roofing. Cenco does incentivize positive reviews on this site by providing a gift card.

Chris Murphy and Taylor Lucy were great! Came out for an appointment during the evening (works great for after work) and gave us a full diagnosis of our roof. After the large rain we had, we had a roof leak. They showed us images and gave us a professional proposal. Will be seeking them out when we decide on how to proceed. Glad they are part of the BBB.

Chris from Cenco was trustworthy, professional, friendly, and courteous. He did an excellent job managing our roof replacement—we’d gladly give him 5 out of 5 stars. While the roofing work itself was well done, our experience with Cenco’s billing and follow-up services was disappointing. The billing office failed to provide clear documentation for both us and our insurance company, and the final bill was initially $6,000 too high. Additionally, the company took months to address the replacement of our gutter guards, which ultimately had to be completed by another company at our own expense of $1,800. We would absolutely work with Chris (with another company) and the on-site crew again, but based on the administrative and customer service issues, we would not choose to work with Cenco as a company in the future.

We used Cenco roofing for my late grandfathers house. They were extremely thorough in their review of the roof that was a bit past when it should be replaced and then we had a bunch of hail come through and made it a necessity. Their detailed analysis of the roof as well as the simple breakdown and evaluation that they patiently walked us through was very valuable. They will go through what they found and explain things to you. The explanations and options they gave were very helpful. They made the insurance claim and process very easy for us. We had to also have some siding and gutters replaced which they also helped with. All the options as far as color and pattern made it easy to find a shingle option AND gutter option that matched with the house. When it came time to have the work done, they had great communication as far as when it would be done and what to expect. I work from home, so this was very important for me to know. After the work was done, they came out to personally walk the roof to make sure that things were done correctly. They let us know the next steps as far as inspection and what else needed to be done. I did end up moving from that residence and bought a new place. My initial inspection recommended that I have a roofer come out and look at my new roof in a few places. Cenco came out and did a great inspection and discussed with me the items that the inspector brought up and next steps, if any. I would HIGHLY recommend that you consider them for any of your roofing needs. Connor, Samuel, and the entire crew were absolutely amazing. I work in customer service and have a higher bar for what I consider acceptable and they exceeded my expectations!

We used Cenco roofing for an inspection on the purchase of a new home. The initial inspection company saw some issues with the roof and indicated hail damage. We called Cenco 4 pm on a Monday and by Tuesday at 11am they were inspecting the roof of our soon to be new home. We were under deadline for the contract and Cenco came through in an extremely quick manner. After the inspection they called us to go over the results which came back very favorable. The roof was in good shape and did not need to be replaced. It actually did not have any hail damage. They could have charged us for looking at the roof, they did not. They could have lied and agreed with the other company in order to try to get a sale. They could have tried to sell us on a report. They did none of those things We would absolutely recommend working with this company and plan to keep them on file for any future needs Taylor was great, thank you.

I got on the roof with him and he got very detailed on what they look for with hail damage and what an adjuster will count as damage and not. The good: they did the work as promised in a relatively timely manner, especially considering all the rain the past week! I am grateful for that and optimistic that the roof remains in good shape and that if we have issues, Cenco will be good at following up. The bad: communication was not great. I received lots of "tentative" scheduling texts and no confirmations unless I followed up with their customer service. This was a little frustrating, but to an extent I understand because the weather was iffy. However, I wish they had at least communicated these changes instead of leaving me in the dark. Additionally, the company encouraged me to call references and ask some key questions, one of them being "did they clean up after they were done?". After their initial site visit, they left a mess of insulation under the attic on the carpet I had to clean up myself (see photo). It felt careless and completely contradicted something they had previously prided themselves on. Also, I was told I'd be visited by a sales associate to perform quality control. If that was performed, I never received confirmation that it actually happened and I wish I had present for that review.

I have never written a review on Google for any business before. But I was so pleased with Cenco, I wanted to write a review. Cenco installed our roof 2 years ago and did a very nice job. Roof looks great, easy to work with, reasonable price, etc. I left the experience thinking I'd absolutely use them again. A few months ago, on a Friday evening, I went to our garage during one of Denver's rain storms and water was trickling in from the roof above. Not good. I called Cenco and asked for them to examine and fix the problem. Within 48 hours they had come to the house, diagnosed the problem (fault seal around a vent), and fixed it for no charge. I was very appreciative and very impressed. Hands down, no questions asked, I would use only Cenco again for roofing and would recommend to anyone. Thank you!

Cenco came out to do an inspection and quote on our damaged roof and did a fantastic job. Kyle was on time, professional and very thorough. The company as well as Kyle were very responsive and easy to get a hold of. We would highly recommend Cenco.

We hired Cenco to replace our roof two years ago. They walked us through everything leading up to our decision. They completed the work with the utmost professionalism and a thorough inspection afterwards. We have been very pleased with the results. The hail resistant shingles were really put to the test this year. Cenco called and set up an appointment to send someone over to check and see if there was any damage that needed addressing. Talk about excellent customer service! Megan completed a thorough inspection using video and technology that was very informative. Our roof was in great shape. We would definitely recommend Cenco over and over again!

Update and response to the owner: We took all the precaution steps as a buyer to avoid major damage. We requested Cenco for the roof inspection. In return we were told it was all cosmetic damages. We wrote emails and called for the report for written confirmation, it didn’t specify any serious damage. We went ahead and bought the house. In less than a month with the rain, it turned to a disaster. We asked Cenco again to look at the leak and repairing. The process didn’t go smoothly as we were told one thing, but when I double checked, it turned out to be a different thing. And it happened more than just one time. I gave a 3-star review before but now it’s ONE because of all the hassles accumulated from the beginning and more trying to get this fixed. Everything had to be requested as usual and information on how to fix it was never clear until I demanded it. Original review: Would be a 5-star review if I hadn't had to call so many times to get the inspection report. I don't understand why it had to be this difficult. We were in the process of buying a house and the roof inspection was very important. We wrote email to ask for report and the answer was just look at the photos. What????? I finally got the report after several calls and emails just to have the report sent. Simple thing could have been done but Cenco wanted to make it hard. All these reviews are trustful and not quite trustful because reviewers get discount/giftcard if they give Cenco 5-star. Just put it here as transparency. I have no problem with the customer incentive like that but I wouldn't lie on my review.

This company does excellent work and has done several homes for us. I highly recommend them for great quality workmanship. The staff are very helpful through out the entire process from beginning to end.

I called Cenco to my house after seeing water spots on my ceiling. They were very polite explained the whole process on the phone when I schooled an appointment. The gentleman came out to my house did a thorough inspection and found I needed a small repair. They gave me an honest inspection and showed me what condition my roof was in. I would highly recommend Cenco to anyone.

I had the pleasure of working with Danny C to get my roof repairs assessed and handle, he was on time, informative and just had the right kind of attitude. UPDATE: Cenco's response to my initial review below confirms their inclination to misrepresent the facts. A google review left 7 months ago by Megan Vogt mirrors many of the issues I experienced. They refer to the complaint I filed with the BBB last July, which I would encourage potential clients to read. Also, please read the other BBB complaints filed against Cenco. My concerns remained unresolved for another 6 months. They also misrepresent when they write that I appear to have been satisfied with their work, as my realtor wrote the words "new Trex decking" in the listing. The presence of new decking is simply a fact. That fact does NOT, however, in ANY way reflect my personal feelings about my experience with Cenco. DEFINITELY STEER CLEAR of this business! If I could leave zero stars I would. I'm not usually one to leave reviews, but I feel so strongly about this that I decided to post one to hopefully save other homeowners the frustration and damage I experienced. I had a leak in my roof after a snowstorm in February of last year. I contacted Cenco Roofing Services and they sent a sales manager to give me a quote. I agreed to the quote and Cenco had a crew come out to remove the wood on my rooftop porch in order to fix the leak. After the workers removed the wood, the sales manager told me he would be doing the work himself and that his bosses knew about this and had sanctioned it. I became really concerned when he would only come over once every couple of weeks and nothing seemed to be getting done on a job that I was initially told would only take a couple of days. I was in contact with their customer account manager and called her multiple times from February-May to ask when the work would be done and to express concern that the work hadn't been completed. She was extremely unhelpful, and I later discovered that the guy who had been coming out to fix my roof wasn't licensed to do the work. By mid-May, the leak still hadn't been repaired, he had broken my rooftop skylight when he accidentally dropped a board on it, his attempts to install the rooftop boards had resulted in about a dozen holes in my roof, he had scuffed up my rooftop boards, the unrepaired leak had destroyed some of the flooring in my bedroom when it continued to drip, and tacking was dripping off the roof and onto the concrete of my front steps, which he damaged in his attempt to power wash it. After a while he stopped coming completely and I learned that he had been fired. Cenco eventually sent out another production manager to manage repairs and assess the damage, which had now grown exponentially beyond the original leak. I tried multiple times to speak to Cenco's general manager. He never returned my calls. I have now seen reviews on other sites that mention how he didn't return calls from other frustrated customers. It took almost a YEAR for them to complete the job and they continued to make missteps: they ordered the incorrect boards for my rooftop, workers installed damaged boards, Cenco oversaw work that wasn't up to code and had to be fixed, the drywaller didn't patch my ceiling correctly, the painter created a noticeable difference in the patched vs. unpatched areas on my ceiling, one of the workers was caught peeing on my neighbor's garage, portions of paint were stripped off my front door when a worker tried to power wash again, and there were multiple times when workers didn't show up to work. There was extremely poor communication of what was going to happen and when with regards to the repairs.I later discovered that there were similar complaints from other homeowners. Save yourself the money and frustration and DEFINITELY hire someone else.

Let me start by saying that I never leave reviews, but I was so impressed with Connor Phelps and Dominic Miller I felt compelled to leave one. I was doing a large renovation and most of the work myself, so my roofing schedule kept getting pushed back, due to me not being ready. Connor was extremely patient and helpful. He even helped me to find contractors to get work completed. He gave me an extremely competitive price and top tier customer service. He checked in weekly on my progresses and was extremely flexible. The roofing crew did an excellent job fixing some of my mistakes and hiding other mistakes I made when framing and sheeting. The roofing crew did a beautiful job; shingles, trim, and drip edge looks great. I’d recommend Cenco to anyone. P.S. in the picture you can see that I still need to finish my siding, so disregard that, but the roof looks really good.

We had great experience with Cenco, and especially our project manager Ryan. Our job was part of an insurance claim, and Ryan was very knowledgeable about the process and extremely patient as we worked with our insurance company to make sure all issues were were resolved. Once work started, Ryan was diligent about ensuring the job was done correctly but quickly. The crew doing the work was fantastic and very clean (other than the new roof, you'd never know they were there). The roof itself looks amazing, and we honestly could not be happier. I'd recommend Cenco without hesitation!
