Great Experience overall! After getting an audit from Efficiency works in Longmont it looked like I was eligible for substantial rebates and decide to move forward with insulating and Air sealing my attic. Bestway came in with a very competitive quote and explained all my rebates to me in a very clear manor. They came in and did fantastic work! There crew was polite and did top notch work and left my house looking clean!. After getting my attic air sealed and insulated in the beginning of august i didn't have to run my A/C one time! this was incredible! They handled all the rebates for me as well and 8-12 weeks later i got checks in the mail covering almost 80% of the cost! Easy to work with Honest and hard working company 10/10 would recommend. ( and i already have to several friends who have gotten work done)

Bestway Insulation answered the phone, ran through all my options and assisted us with a rebate that I wasn't aware of, helped us process the rebate paperwork. The professional crew arrived on time, set up protective plastic to keep my house clean while they blew in 18" of quality Insulation. They showed us how to get money back from our energy company and had us sign up for the Xcel Whole Home Energy assessment, which was an awesome program. After moving into a home where I had spent 8 months remodeling, I had been having consistent HVAC issues with a brand new system so everyone was perplexed. Someone suggested getting an energy audit. That revealed that I had virtually no insulation in the walls and ceiling of the room in question. I contacted a few companies, including Bestway to get suggested solutions and quotes. One company said that, because there was already insulation, albeit original for 1972, I would have to rip out all the walls and ceiling, fill with insulation and put the walls and ceiling back in. Um no! I almost canceled my appointment with Bestway because I assumed they would say the same thing. I’m soooo glad I didn’t! They came out, gave me a great solution that allowed them to pipe in new insulation (even though there was already insulation in the walls). The cost was considerably less than even having that section of the roof lifted and adding insulation there. Thanks to a cancellation, they were able to get it completed four days later. Christina and Kim were exceptional at ensuring the guys were at my house early so I could have the walls patched and painted. My contractor noted that the guys who came out did an excellent job of filling the holes. He had very little work. Within 24 hours, my room was put back together and it was back to normal life. I highly recommend Bestway Insulation!

I had Bestway Insulation insulate and air seal my attic back in October last year (2024). They did a very nice job. Their crew was very courteous, knowledgeable, and efficient. What has really impressed me though is that I had asked them to come out again, which was just last week, to make sure everything was holding up just fine. They responded immediately and set up a follow-up appt with me right away. Since it had only been a little over 6 months since my original appointment, I fully expected they would simply say everything looks fine, which it was. However, while they were here they took the time to do a little extra air sealing for me on a few spots they felt could use a little more, and they did it at no additional cost. I loved working with Bestway. Adam, Antonio, and their crew did an all-round great job for me. (I’m sorry, I wish I could remember the other two guy's names). They're very professional, thorough, and friendly. I highly recommend Bestway, and I certainly would be using them again for any future insulation needs I may have.

I can’t say enough good things about Bestway Insulation! We have beautiful vaulted ceilings throughout our house, but after an Xcel Energy Audit, I learned those gorgeous ceilings were also a major reason for our high energy bills. The audit recommended upgrading the insulation when we got our roof done since it would be the only real chance to address it. So, since we were already planning a roof replacement, we decided to move forward with the insulation upgrade too. From the very start, Bestway Insulation made the whole process so much easier than I expected. Everyone I spoke with was professional, knowledgeable, and genuinely helpful. They even recommended we check out the RENU Home Energy Loan to help with costs. They guided me through every step, from the initial estimate to project completion. Bestway kept me informed the entire way, which is more than I can say for some of the other companies working on my house. When our roofing company dropped the ball by missing deadlines and not communicating, Bestway was still able to follow through. They showed up, did the job without needing the roofers, and still managed to finish everything on time. It was such a relief to have at least one team I could count on. They even vacuumed and cleaned up my front entryway when they were done — which, honestly, I wasn’t expecting but really appreciated. Big shoutout to Christina, Allison, Ken, and the whole Bestway crew. It’s not every day you find a company this organized, communicative, and on top of things. Bestway did such a great job for us, from the initial estimate to the final CAZ test. All of Bestway's people were knowledgable, personable, and hard-working. Our crew the day of the installation was outstanding--those guys worked so diligently and were very good with clean-up. We have been through 10 months of remodeling hell dealing with a plethora of poor quality trades. So happy to report when it came time for insulation, I found BestWay and they definitely rank in the top 3 trades/services I've dealt with this whole time. Their quotation process was super reasonable, fast and easy with no hidden fees, they scheduled it right away, came and air sealed everything and cleaned up and I could not be happier with their service- also the best price. Bestway came in and blew insulation in to our garage ceiling. They were fast and did a decent job cleaning. Had an issue with insulation being accidentally blown into the air duct but they came back that day to fix it and we’re very thorough on the fix.

They did call to confirm that we still wanted to do the attic and the walls. Our crew was excellent. Very friendly and easy to work with. They left the site cleaner then when they arrived. Thank you

A few of our neighbors heartily recommended this place but for the life of me I don't know why. It was worse than pulling teeth for them to get back to me (they never did, I finally got 'lucky' and someone answered the phone), but then they never showed up, TWICE, no phone call and no apology. Instead, I got an earful how 'Steve' got no work done because he didn't adhere to his schedule and went to the wrong address. ??? Why do I care? I don't. Five hours after the fact and 'Steve' didn't check in with the office, and the office didn't reach out to say 'Oops, we did it again.' Not getting a third chance to not show up. **For a quote.** Imagine if we'd scheduled to do the work with them? As if.

I wanted insulation installation and air-sealing and got three different quotes. Bestway was not the least expensive, but it was a reasonable quote and we were fairly happy with the sales-person so we decided to hire them. They are a bit busy and didn't have any openings for 5 weeks. No problem, we weren't in any particular hurry. The night before our scheduled date, I got a voice mail asking me if we were going to do ceiling insulation or in-wall insulation. This made me feel extremely nervous because they had already come out and given us a detailed quote for air-sealing and ceiling insulation. How have they lost this information already? And would they do the work they quoted us, or is this a way to try to get more money? I asked my wife to call them back, and she did, leaving a voice mail with the details from the quote. The morning of the insulation I got a call at 7am asking for confirmation they should come. What the heck? We called last night and confirmed already. This is getting ridiculous. I missed their call and didn't see it for a couple hours, and at this point I am completely unimpressed with how disorganized this company is, so I wait to see if they check their voicemail and get my wife's message. If they did, I have no idea. I never heard from them again. They never showed up. Bullet dodged, as far as I'm concerned. We will work with someone that doesn't lose a quote, and shows up when they say they are going to.

They are amazing....due to health issues in family they got in and out quickly providing much needed consideration for said family. The work is a definate 5. Thanks for being there

We recently bought a house that was built in 1960. The home inspection revealed that there was very little insulation in the attic and no insulation in the walls. Bestway insulation was able to fit us into their schedule quickly and blew cellulose (safe, non-toxic, fire-resistant, recycled materials) insulation into the attic and into the walls. In order to blow insulation into the walls, they had to drill a couple hundred holes in the brick and wood siding. They did an excellent job patching the brick, and we just need to touch-up paint over their patches on the wood siding. We are SO HAPPY with the insulation in our house - it is warmer beyond measure! 100% glad we invested in this! I was extremely impressed with Adam and his team, and with Debbie and her company. I have recommended and will continue to recommend Bestway to everyone who will listen!

We hired Bestway Insulation to insulate the attics and the ceiling above our garage. Our trilevel house was built in the late 1960s and was poorly insulated. Adam, Rob, and Jeff did a great job from start to finish. They were friendly, they cleaned up after themselves, and most import they did a great job insulating the house. We got estimates from several other companies and none of those planned to do as much work as Bestway did for us. We feel we got a LOT for what we paid. We are very happy.

Bestway performs great A to Z services to improve your home performance. A Bestway energy audit gave us a baseline for air leakage, watt reduction and infrared diagnosis where the target areas for comfort improvement were located within the home. We followed up with attic air sealing and cellulose insulation by Bestway in all the attic spaces and in some critical wall cavities. Great service and education along the way by the Bestway install teams. Would highly recommend their services and will use them again for further home insulation down the road.

We just had the whole house insulated and I’m excited for the weather to turn cold. They were able to insulate the vaulted ceilings and the exterior walls. I’m expecting to be cozy this winter. The energy audit was extremely detailed and really showed the trouble spots. The crew was great, on time, and cleaned up after themselves.

We hired Bestway to insulate our attic and outside walls with blown cellulose insulation, earlier this summer. Everything went very well. All questions were answered, workers arrived on time, worked quickly and cleaned up after themselves when they were done. They even painted the spot where they nailed the siding back on with paint we had on hand. When all was done, Bestway even handled the rebates with Xcel. We have noticed an improvement in comfort in the house, and the AC comes on much less often. Energy costs have dropped as well. I'm looking forward to seeing how the insulation performs in the winter months. I'm a satisfied customer.

I've used Bestway Insulation twice now and been extremely happy with both experiences. The first time was to add blow-in insulation to our attic plus between the studs in our cathedral ceiling. This time was to add blow-in insulation to the walls in rooms that get very cold in the wintertime. The process is simple- they cut holes in the wall between each stud, use a tube to blow in the insulation, and then slowly back out the tube while filling the void. Our house was built in 1973 so you can imagine how much the original insulation has degraded! The extra insulation really does make a huge difference. To add to my delight, some of the crew members from the original job returned to do the second job (about 2 years later), meaning to me that the company looks after their employees and that the employees believe in the product and company, too. I would definitely recommend Bestway Insulation to anyone and would absolutely use them again.

After they did our energy audit, we decided to have Bestway insulate our exterior walls and our attic. The job got done in one day. It's a messy, dusty job because they had to access the wall cavities from the inside due to our asbestos shingles on the exterior. However, the crew covered all of our furniture and did a good job of cleaning up afterward. I just got my Excel bill. This year, the billing period was three degrees colder on average than last year. We used a bit less gas and 25% less electricity in a month where the average temperature was three degrees lower! Also, our home is WAY more comfortable despite using less energy. We no longer need a space heater in the bedroom because we are no longer losing so much heat there. I highly recommend Bestway. They know what they're doing. They will do what they say, and their product works. I recommend starting with an energy audit to better understand your options.

We are very pleased with the insulation job! Made a huge difference in maintaining the desired temp across the house and your crew pointed out an issue with the roof that was replaced in 2018. I wouldnt have known about it if they didnt point it out, and was able to fix it myself same day. Specific gains: -reduced temp difference between 1st and 2nd floor from avg of 7 degrees to avg 1 degree (verified via temp sensors on each floor) -Air sealing service improved air tightness by 31% We also noticed a drop in our gas/electric bill and plan to use Bestway when res-insulating our exterior walls in 2021

Top job! Highly recommend! People who work there - are amazing! I had the privilege to meet with an owner - Debbie - yes, this is a lady who gives advice on Rick Crandall program on EZ 1430 - and I do not think there is anything under the skies she doesn't know about house insulation, with James who did an energy audit - he was super detailed and found every crack that leaked and gave me a plan of mediating every single one, and finally I got Dave and his team to do wall and attick blown insulation. These guys worked non-stop for 2 days, making sure that every single cavity in the walls is filled, and the attic is loaded. They did it in a very efficient and clean way, the amount of spill was minimal and they cleaned after themselves. As a result - the pressure check showed 50% improvement. It is soo cosy in a house now - and it is darn cold outside. I can even lower the thermostat = because I am not compensating for drafts in 1967 house. My furnace doesn't need to work non-stop anymore. I am sure I will be very happy with my next bill - but the body comfort is priceless. Irina N.

On-site inspection and quoting process was straight forward. Day of install went smoothly. The attic seal, attic insulation addition, and garage insulation addition have made a big difference to the comfort of our home. Bestway did excellent work.

I got my attic and walls insulated by Bestway Insulation. The Job took a day and a half. They took the time to seal up any potential leaks to minimize the Dust/insluation in the house. The house has vertical vinyl siding and they were able to remove, insulate and replace it with no damage. They sealed air leaks around ceiling boxes and vents to reduce the air leakage in the house. I recommend Bestway highly.

Bestway did a fabulous job insulating our basement. We just experienced a dramatic temperature drop this week and the basement was warm and we no longer had the drafts of cold air. It greatly improved the comfort in our kitchen too. I recommend Bestway Insulation they were reasonably priced and got the job done on time and within budget.

I'm glad I found Bestway Insulation to air seal & insulate our attic space. They knew exactly what to do, were on time, did a fine job, weren't messy and made sure all was right afterward. And after doing the air testing, we are getting back a rebate, along with a very fair price for it all to begin with!

Bestway employees explained why they were doing certain things and why they chose cellulose for my attic insulation so that I was comfortable with their plan. They took extra care to make sure the R rating I requested was achieved, brought in more cellulose to finish the job properly and cleaned up after themselves. Highly recommended.

The team themselves were great 5 star crew all around. We've been holding onto this estimate to get our insulation upgraded for over 2 years. While we can't afford yet to do the walls of the house we did at least get the attic done. I could write all day about how awesome this crew was but in the end of the day that doesn't sell you on if the product works. Thats where the image attached to my review here shows you that yes this does work. I sent the following to Bestway and I'lll paste it here as well to explain to you what this line chart is representing. First off I do home automation and I log all of my data in my splunk server here at my house. So this line chart is a true representation of the temp reading that was being reported by my thermostat. This is a line chart of my thermostat temps from Wed through Friday. Now keep in mind you installed the insulation on Thursday and I buttoned up the house at about 6pm on Thursday. So what is interesting here is that granted on Wed we were coming off of that awesome weather we had on Tuesday so the house didn't fully cool down from Tue night to Wed morning. But Wed night it did get cold and the chart reflects that with how fast the house dropped in temperature. Now comes Thursday (Install day) You can see that we kicked off at 730am with the furnace starting to warm the house up for the day from around 62 in the house and by 930am we reached our set point for the day. Now the crew leaves around 530p and I closed our front door at around 6pm. This is where it gets amazing. I closed the door and the house with no help from the furnace increases its indoor temperature 2 degrees to take the house up to 70 all by itself. Our furnace kicks over to night mode around 10pm so it maintained that 70 until midnight when it finally drops 1 degree. The coldest the house got over night was down to 65, and outside it was 25. This is most impressive. So when the furnace came on this morning it only had to raise the house 3 degrees and it managed to do it rather quickly within 1 hour the house was at its set point. It will be more interesting to see how this graph does over the summer, but I thought that you would like to see some data that truly represents the benefits of upgrading your houses insulation. Looking forward to having the walls done as soon as I can get the funds. Have a great day.

Great job. I have a house built in 1900, with plaster walls. They did a great job of getting the insulation into the walls and recommended a plaster repairman to patch the holes. I can honestly not see where they made the holes, it's been amazing. House now has R60 in the attic, and all the wall cavities are packed. They were able to get into all the various odd spots in a house that's over 100 years old -- with maybe 5 additions over the years, so there are actually two separate attics and lots of odd spaces. Update: two years later, and my house is much more comfortable, warmer in the winter by far and cooler in the summer. Highly recommended and would use them again.

Bestway Insulation is the best! Reliable, trustworthy, cost effective and very knowledgeable. We have done business with Bestway for many years and there's no one better. We can always count on the team, everyone is very pleasant and for whom we are very grateful.

After purchasing a 20 year old house in Longmont, we contracted Bestway Insulation to insulate our garage ceiling and walls to an R-50 value and bring house attic batt type insulation from an R-15 to R-60 rating. They also “air-sealed” the house attic to minimize heat transfer due to air circulation from light fixtures and wall cavities that can communicate with the attic. Initially, we were somewhat concerned that injection of their cellulose insulating product into vertical wall cavities (where very low grade batt insulation had been originally installed) would not fill those cavities from ceiling to floor. However, their inserted wand technique proved to be very effective in placement of insulation. This placement technique easily compressed the in-place batt insulation leaving fully packed chambers. Although our house is over 5,000 sq. ft., by opening windows after 9pm and allowing night cooling to lower house temps to low 70s and then closing windows, Bestway’s insulation now keeps the house interior and garage below 80F on sunny 95F days without any AC. As our garage is used as a serious shop it is now comfortable without adding AC. We expect similar results with heat retention during winter months. One other feature of injected cellulose insulation is its ability to dampen noise communication between rooms, bathrooms, and floors. This is something that is for, the most part, unobtainable with batt type insulation. Also, Bestway conducted an energy audit on the house before and after insulation that records overall changes in air circulation from their work. This data is submitted by Bestway to energy suppliers such as electric and gas and can result in significant rebates from those suppliers.

We had them air-seal and insulate our house in 2016. We really notice the difference in our XCEL bills. They did a great job. They showed up when they said they would and they did what they said they would. Great job cleaning up too. In 2018 we had an issue where another contractor messed up the insulation. Adam came out and fixed it for us. Very happy with their service and most importantly their business practices.

Courteous, on time and very knowledgeable. Saved us 40%+ on our utility bills.

In doing so, we learned how poorly our home was insulated. We let the Bestway team come in and go to work. They were meticulous in every area they addressed. As the Bestway team completed the work at our house, we were pleased with the care and thoroughness of the work. Dave led the work team and was a joy to have at our home across the 4 days. He always kept us updated, told us when there were challenges, and went out of his way to correct issues that were problems because of the way our home was built. Debbie was excellent at identifying areas where we could take advantage of Xcel rebates. When the job was wrapped up, the Bestway folks left our home in great shape -- and cleaned our garage! Can't recommend Bestway highly enough. Came out to bid on insulating my walls. Price was reasonable, work was done when they said they would come, and workmanship was great. I forgot to warn them about a bathroom niche that was built into my newly re-modeled bathroom that abutted the outside wall, and they drilled through a tile. Once we realized what had happened, the foreman came back later in the week & repaired it - can't tell that it ever happened. They also found trash/debris in 5 of the cavities and since I'm having the exterior siding of my house replaced this summer, they'll be coming out at no extra charge to fill those cavities once they're emptied and to top off some attic insulation (done by another company years ago). And I went into this purchase this spring thinking, "Oh, it won't make that much difference..." OMG. It has made an incredible difference. Here it is July with 90-100 degree days and I haven't even turned on my swamp cooler yet! I open all my windows at night, close them up in the morning & when I come home from work at 5pm, the house is still in the low 70s. Unbelievable. Can't wait to see how much more it will cut off my heating bill this winter. Highly, highly recommended. Oh - and I got a rebate that amounted to 17% of the total price I paid....not bad!

I contacted Bestway Insulation to get a quote for installing more insulation to my attic and complete air sealing. When speaking with Charles on two occasions over the phone he was great - super friendly, accommodating, and patient with all of my questions/concerns. However, after setting a time to have an in person inspection done things changed. First, they did not show up to the initial appointment. I took the day off from work so I could be there to ask questions/keep my pets out of their way. I called them 30 minutes after the appointment time and they said "sorry, we meant to call you to say we can't come today." The lady on the phone didn't seem to bothered by the fact I wasted some vacation time to be home for the inspection. Secondly, when an inspection person did finally show up the following Saturday it was not the inspection person I had been speaking with (Charles). Rather it was another lady who all she did was sit on the couch and write down a quote for me while trying to up-sell me on doing all my walls (quadrupling the price). My issues with this is that she did not even do an inspection - she never got off the couch. She did not measure my attic, did not look at anything up there, or measure the current level of insulation installed, nothing! She kept saying "we have done four other units in this area and they are all the same." (I live in a townhouse). However, she kept talking about insulating above the garage (I don't have one) and the basement (I don't have one of those either). She would not give me the names or unit numbers of the places they have supposedly previously done. If all they were going to do is give me a quote based on not looking at anything they could have just done it over the phone. Wasted my time again. Third, she gave me a quote for around $1,400 to air seal and install insulation up to R50 for my attic (again, sight unseen). She also said I would need to fix the access door (sight unseen). However, she said she could get the price down to around $900 because they could complete a rebate for me through Xcel Energy. However, she also said this was not guarantee because the rebate only works for 4-unit complexes (ours is a 6-plex), but again, she said the other 4 units they have done previously were able to get the rebate approved.... I will gladly change this review if they ever call me back to discuss this. I have called twice to speak with someone and they keep saying they will return my calls. I was really bummed about this experience as my initial conversations with Charles were really great and I was exited to work with them.

Bestway was the third of three bids that we solicited for our 1963 home, and it was LESS THAN HALF of the other two. Wondering what the catch was, we checked references. They were glowing, so we leapt. They began with a second home energy audit, so they could see what was going on. This audit was infinitely more detailed than the one we'd performed five years ago, and told them exactly where our home needed work. The day that our walls were re-insulated, the crew arrived right on time. To a person, they were both professional and personable. They worked hard and nonstop for two days, and did a thorough job cleaning up. When we discovered that an electrical wire had been accidentally knocked loose during the procedure, they returned immediately to make the repair. We are heading into a second round of work, where they are enhancing the insulation in our attic. Debbie bird-dogged rebates, and advised us to move forward on the portion of the project that would be most cost-effective at this time. Got a quote from Adam with Bestway Insullation and he was very professional and nice and knew what he was doing, he also was very honest! I needed my unfinished basement walls re-insulated with the vapor barrier and needed it done like asap because we had new tenants moving in that week...They squeezed me in because they were booked up which was so nice of them! Dave came after he worked all day and worked overtime and was sooo sweet and I felt comfortable with him and he did a fabulous job!!! I would recommend them any day!
