Steamatic of Nashville

⭐️☆☆☆☆ (0/5 Stars) I had an incident in April 2025 where flooding caused damage to my guitars at my apartment. At the time, I was explicitly told that everything would be fully covered and that I would owe nothing out of pocket. Fast forward to December 18th — one week before Christmas — I receive a call stating that I now owe $1,000 for a deductible. This is the first time I was ever informed of this. There were no prior calls, emails, or written communication explaining that I would be responsible for any deductible. The explanation I was given was that the insurance company initially told them everything would be covered, and after I signed the paperwork, they later changed course — yet no one thought to notify me. That is an unacceptable failure in communication and customer service. To make matters worse, the representative I spoke with showed poor communication skills and offered no accountability or meaningful resolution. Springing a $1,000 charge on a customer months later, right before the holidays, due to internal miscommunication is completely unprofessional. This company does not communicate clearly and does not protect its customers. I would strongly recommend avoiding this company and taking your business elsewhere.

I was very pleased with the air duct cleaning provided. Technicians Jake S. and Jalin M. were very patient and thorough and explained what they were doing during the entire process. The manager (Michael C.) was onsite and made himself available to ensure we were satisfied. I highly recommend this company.

Mikey, Grant, and Daryl took care of my entire home this week with Mold issues and carpet cleaning. Super professional and were on-time for both appointments this week. Would highly recommend them if you have any mold allergies to have them come check your HVAC system.

Stephen and James came to my house for water damage due to a faulty valve on the water heater and they were very professional and got the job done. They worked with our schedules and were in contact with us throughout the process. Recommend them for any water damage cleanup services.

This company is a scam! We contracted this with company to do partial encapsulation of a crawlspace in a house we own, as well as clean the ducts. we discovered the job had been done with poor quality materials not contracted for , as well as the job not completed, and the ducts were not completely cleaned. Upon asking to come back to do the job over and properly, all we got were excuses for FOUR months, even after calling the Corporate offices. We received a check- with no apologies or any more help for only the labor costs..THAT IS ALL..and have to have the job done all over again. This company is a scam , not professional, and I would NEVER recommend it!

My dining & living room carpet looks brand new after it was cleaned. The young man who cleaned my carpets was professional, kind and did an amazing job! He got all the stains out. I highly recommend this company. I've been using them for years.

I had asked Steamatic to come out and give me a quote to address cleaning of my vents and for mold remediation in my HVAC system. While they sent someone out pretty quickly to take a look, it's been 2 weeks and I still haven't received an estimate. I followed up several times and was just told that they were "slammed" and they would get back to me with a quote the next day. I'm pretty disappointed in the service because I had made it pretty clear that it was extremely important to me to have this completed as soon as possible. In contrast, I was able to find another company to send someone out to do the same job within a week. I would have much preferred them telling me they didn't have capacity to take on new customers at the time instead of being given the runaround for so long.

I've heard they do good work, but after calling about prices.... We have about 1600SF of home floors to be cleaned. Hardwood in the living room, tile in the kitchen, basic carpet elsewhere. They wanted 3,000$ to clean these. I can literally replace the entire flooring for that cost. 250$ just to clean a couch. Sorry, I'll go elsewhere. That is insane prices. UPDATE: I did change my one star, to a three star based on the fact they actually responded, which is always good. But I think people should understand that when you charge 1.75$ per square foot to clean floors you can buy for 2.50$ that is just bonkers. So yes, a fairly small 3 BR home with a total of 1600SF is 3,000 before they even get to cleaning the couch. I'm sorry, this is four times what the competition is charging. While your company may be good, competition is too. So let me be clear, Steamatic may be good cleaners, but you would be wise to look into it.

We used Steamatic for their mold remediation service. They showed up with masks on before entering our home which I was very appreciative of. Everyone was professional, they helped us to understand the issues we were looking at, and got everything cleaned up perfectly.

Joe and his team installed a radon mitigation system in my house. They got it done very quickly and professionally. Even called him with a small problem and he came out that day to fix it. Highly recommend this company!

I highly recommend Steamatic. Joe Roland is very professional and explained everything that my house needed very clearly. Mary Roland was kind when I called and asked so many questions. A team of very professional and hard working men came in and worked three days to encapsulate the very musty crawl space under my house, clean my air ducts and AC units, and remove mildew from my cathedral ceiling and beam. My house of 30 years had developed some significant moisture problems and Joe outlined everything that needed to be done and then got his men to work. My experience with Steamatic of Middle TN has always been fabulous. They are very knowledgeable, very courteous and always able to solve my problem. Fortunately I did not need their services during the great Nashville flood, but I know people who did and they were very pleased with the prevention and restoration actions that Steamatic implemented to save their property. Their knowledge of the impact clean environment has on health and how to clean all surfaces including carpets, air ducts, tile and furnishings makes a significant difference in fresh air. Plus, when we suffered from allergies, they knew how to solve our mold problems and prevent them in the future. I highly recommend the team at Steamatic TN.
