What a difference! USA Insulation of Puget Sound recently sealed, treated, and upgraded my home's attic insulation in 1.5 days. My home now feels much warmer, and the indoor air seems cleaner. From start to finish, Max and his team were excellent to work with. Reasonable price, very good insulation upgrade, and thorough cleanup. Highly recommend USA Insulation of Puget Sound!

These people are very honest. I was looking to cleanup the mold in attic and replace insulation. While other contractors took measurements and gave qoutes around 10k, USA insulation went a step further - they inspected if it was actually mold and found out that it was just stains and mold had been treated in past (consistent with past owner's records) and there is no issue with attic. They could have also quoted some price and made money but they chose the honest way. I will always consider them before any other contractor.

When MAX USA INSULATION arrived they started out strong by removing my existing blown in insulation, which went well. This is where things changed. Logan (crew lead) proceeded to start the batts, and when I questioned about the vent baffles he stated they weren't on the invoice. Max (owner who did my estimate) stated they were, and he reaffirmed new baffles were standard procedure (Logan was going to use my prior cardboard ones). I had Max come to oversee the crew as I had little confidence after Logan argued with me. Ultimately, they finished the job as per my estimate/contract. Now here's where additional issues happened. When they fed their hose out the window they simpy fed it out, not lifting if and it was scraping along the window frame, and my newly resided and painted house and garage door. I found an area in one of my celling areas where it looks like someone almost broke thru, and also some shape objects are poking thru, but the main issue is that they had a ladder fall onto my garage door and dent it. Max has been trying to find a replacement panel (I expressed an EXACT replacement) and of course none can be found due to the age of the door. He thinks I will pay for part of a new door and I have expressed that his company did the damage, they need to cover it totally (and get it painted to match as I had just had that done). I have yet to see a new door, nor have any date scheduled for such, and I have had to push him to get this fixed. As stated on YELP, their insurance change several times, and they only offered 1/5th the total replacement cost for a new door. When I told Max (the owner) this was unacceptable and that he had to cover the total cost of what his company did, he did finally find another company who found an exact replacement panel (which I was agreeable to). My siding company (Pacific Exteriors) repainted the panel to ensure it matched at no cost to me. It took over 5 months to get this fixed. Here's where it gets strange... Max's wife and kids came to my door to ask me to delete or revise my review. She actually argued with me, and I simply stated my review was truthful. I ultimately had to tell her to leave as she came back to my front door after she put her kids in the car and argued with me again. By now i simply stated for her to get off my property. If they are so worried about reviews then they need to properly manage and oversee their employees so they can get good reviews. Maybe you won't have anything like this but I stand behind everything stated since it is all true.

I had USA insulation insulate the exterior walls of my home and seal drafty areas in the attic. I'm impressed with the results.

While the insulation itself was adequate and communication from the company was ok, pest remediation was less than stellar. There were some areas filled with foam but the area we knew rats entered from, rats are very much still entering. It tough when you see new vapor barrier and insulation have rat droppings and the area they entered from you can still see daylight (though I have since filled with foam/mesh). We will see how many other areas they still come in from and frankly I just wish I had taken more time off work to try and fill those areas with foam/mesh when the insulation was removed.

I hired USA Insulation to insulate my property and they did a wonderful job. We had issues with drafts in winter, high electricity bills, condensation on our bedroom wall, and a crawl space with rodents and odors. The USA Insulation crew was professional and communicated well and worked smoothly. The house is much cleaner and warmer. Strongly recommend!

2 man crew came and blew fiberglass insulation into my attic. They were neat, fast and polite. They came back a second time and blew more into our attic. Our heating bill is still sky high. Without heat, our electric bill is $175/month, with heat our bill is over $900/month. Did I just waste $6K on insulation? We're continuing to work the issue. They came back to install baffles in our attic to ensure ventilation. We are now going to retro insulate our walls with a closed cell foam. They're doing it from the outside. Hopefully, this makes a dent in our energy loss. Update************** Thankfully, the company was sold to a new owner last year. Winter came again and again, I got mind boggling electric bills. The new owner, Max, sent out a tech to evaluate. The tech found that the work was not done to spec in either of our attics. He brought a crew back and they confirmed that insulation was added per spec in both attics. Max is a good guy. Demonstrated high integrity and solved my issue. I will use him for more work in the future and tell my friends.

I was very pleased with the process from start to finish. I needed a total gut and redo of my crawlspace. They were able to work me into their schedule sooner than I expected. The installation went fantastic. Larry and Cameron did an excellent job, and upon completion, the team had me inspect the crawl space—a place I wouldn’t have stepped into before. They performed incredibly neat work, going above and beyond with cleanliness and sealing. In the attic, they blew in 18–20 inches of insulation, ensuring even coverage throughout. The difference in overall comfort has been noticeable. All in all, Max and his team were great, and the work was well worth every penny.

As we end out 2024 , I want to give a special thanks to Max and his group at USA Insulation as they did some work for my mom up in Bothell, Washington last month. My mom Barbara and my sister Roz live together and they are two older women. My mom's 97 years old and it sure was nice to work with Max. I live down in Las Vegas so we went through everything over the phone and he took care of them extremely well with no stress and no problems. I can't thank Max and his guys enough as they were all awesome to work with. Needless to say they did a supper nice job in a timely manor as well.... I've been a general contractor down here in Las Vegas for over 20 years and believe me I know when I'm dealing with a good Tradesmen with excellent employees and it is hard to find one who is honest & straight forward. On the final note... their pricing was excellent for the work they had to do for my mom and sister and once again, Thank You Guys for all the help.... Happy New Years to you Max and your crew. Good guys, professional workers. Their estimator/scout missed an issue with my walls so they were unable to inject foam in my walls. However their professional technician caught it thankfully and I'd trust them again to do any work. Their attic blown in fiberglass was 4.9/5, only comment would be to add cardboard near the plug entrance to prevent it from falling down but it was so small it's still worth giving 5 stars. Again, while they weren't able to do some of the work, they knew the limits of their products and gave reasonable quotes along the way! I wish I could have gotten the foam injection

I found Max for help due to my high utility bill in winters. When he came, he checked my house and verify the insulation rating efficiently; By the end of the visit, he proposed several options for my house per prior discussion with me. He is very professional and patient which helped me a lot to clearly understand what is going on and what I can do to improve my situation. I would recommend his service to whomever is in need, or to people who don't know what to do with their utility bill to start with.

We chose to wait a year before posting our review so that we had plenty of time to see results. USA Insulation came to our home to inject foam insulation into our upstairs shared walls of our bedroom’s & bathroom’s the main goal was for soundproofing and to help lower heating & cooling costs. The soundproofing, cooler rooms in summer; warmer in the winter, and lower energy costs we had hoped for unfortunately hasn’t happened. It also didn’t helped that the smell of the materials used lingered for three months before dissipating; that’s with windows opened, two fans, and two air purifiers running. There also has been no noise dampening, the rooms that were hot before are still the same, and in the winter our owner suite bedroom is still quite a bit colder than the rest of the house. I have yet to live this “home improvement cost” fail down with my family as I was thoroughly convinced by the review’s/advertisement’s that it would totally work for us. I would like to say that Ethan and the crew that came out to perform the work were all very nice, we just didn’t get the advertised results.

Hired USA Insulation to replace our crawlspace to clean and replace our old torn vapor barrier along with insulating all the water pipes. They also brushed off and cleaned all the crawlspace space vents and went the extra mile in securing any loose heating vent insulation . All the vapor barrier seams were taped together, not just over lapped. Crew arrived on time and was very professional. The price was very fair as I had 2 other bids. Highly recommend them!

USA Insulation did a great job in bringing our attic up to R49. They protected our brand new carpet and were very efficient in the work. Their bid was very competitive and they didn’t try to sell you on unnecessary work. Friendly and super responsive to our timeline and questions.

The crew was hard personable and hard working. It wasn't it easiest job for them, but they pushed through the "slowdowns" and got it done. All with a good attitude. Now the only thing that we're noticing is the reduction of noise. Differences in cold and heat are still to be determined.
