McCalls Pest and Wildlife Kevin Smith was referred by a fellow pest control specialist after inspecting our chimney which was infested with wasps and too tall for access but needed a lift with plywood to protect the yard. After meeting with Kevin Smith of McCalls Pest and Wildlife we were reassured they could get the job done and would use plywood to safeguard the yard for potential ruts caused by the lift. Scheduling the service was a challenge at first as the lift was not operational, then there were other scheduling conflicts. When the McCalls workers arrived with the lift, they knew nothing about the plywood to protect the yard! Needless to say our yard was ravaged by grooves left by the lift. And after several attempts to use the lift, it was found the McCalls workers were unable to get the lift close enough to the chimney to gain access to unit! So they left! Grooves in yard and job not completed. Weeks later, McCalls workers returned, finally, with a tall ladder, treated the access for wasps, and capped the chimney. Numerous emails with photos of the yard damages have been forwarded to McCalls Pest and Wildlife for resolution to no avail. Would think twice when employing McCalls Pest and Wildlife to work on your property.

Bill W. has consistently been our tech for quite a while. He is knowledgeable and if we ever have concerns, he takes the time to address them and follow up.

Everyone who came to my house was very knowledgeable and professional. The price was reasonable and the job was done. I no longer have rats in my attic. Both the communication and the subcontracted company they used to insulate my attic were not great. I noticed my bathroom fan wasn’t working after they came by. Since there are a lot of wires in my attic, I assumed that they must’ve done something accidentally to the electrical. I told the office on multiple occasions and the individuals who came to my home to check the external work. I have never gotten a phone call back or a visit to my house regarding my concern about the electric. It’s gotten to the point where now there’s mold spots growing despite my purchase of a dehumidifier, so I had to get someone out to come look at it on my own dime. It turns out, there are open, live wires in my attic very close to the insulation. The individual I hired fixed the issue, but the fact that McCall did not respond to my concerns and did not take responsibility for this huge fire risk is a problem. I attached a picture to show how close the live wires are to the new insulation.

Ashley is very polite, respectful and attentive. She alway ask if we have any concerns that she can help with. Overall, she has a great customer service. She does a great job. Thank you.

McCall's Brandy did my annual termite service this morning. Another awesome employee, of a trusted company, we've used for many yrs. Brandy is very personable and knowledgeable. I learned a few facts about termites, I didn't know. Brandy took the time to drill out the hole the trap fits in, to make the trap even to the ground. That's amazing!!

Caroline Berry, came to our home and did a remarkable job going through each area and explaining to us what needed to be done to combat the infestation from outdoor bugs. She was extremely professional as always, she also was able to relocate 2 racoons from our attic last year, which we were extremely grateful they were just relocated and not put down. Adam has consistently done a great job. His work is thorough covering outdoor pest control. He has been my pest control technician for eleven and one half years.

Brandy was outstanding and very detailed and thorough with her treatment. The scheduled treatment was timely because in recent weeks we’ve killed two hornets inside our back porch. The hornets look like wasps on steroids. I had two dead in a ziplock bag to show. She took photos and circulated amongst her company. The initial feedback to the photos the hornets may be ‘murder hornet’ or cicada killer hornets. She took the two samples with her for office to examined and identify

My experience with this company was awesome! Their charges are so reasonable compared to others. The service Tim provided was exemplary. He took the time to search the surroundings and place the traps in the best places. I also received a daily report of their findings! Highly recommend!

I contracted McCall's Pest and Wildlife services back in Feb/March 2025 for a mole issue that I've had for about a year. The services that were performed, were first, the CO2 gassing followed two weeks later with another round of CO2 gassing then bating, because there were still signed of the moles. Two weeks following the CO2 gassing/bating, I still seen activity, but not as bad so I reached out to my account rep. The account rep did not respond to my text messages or phone call. I called the office and explained everything above and they said someone would call me back. It took a few more attempts until I finally had someone come back for a third treatment, the tech said she bated. After another two weeks, which is what McCall's asked to give time for the treatment, I still seen signs of mole activity. I have reached out to my account rep several times, he did finally come by and see, for himself the mole activity. The account rep said he would have someone reach out to me to schedule another treatment, that was two weeks ago. I had since, called SEVERAL times to the office and texted the account rep only to be told that someone would get back to me. This has been very frustrating to get this issue resolved. This is why I decided to vent my frustration in the form of an updated review. I went with McCall's because of all the positive reviews but my experiences have been less than stellar. I hope this issue can be resolved VERY soon, before my yards is over run by moles again! UPDATE! McCall Pest and Wildlife did finally come back for a inspection and eventually agreed to retreat one more time. This is why I upped the rating of my review. If they would have explained the way the guaranty worked I may have held off. The issue is my neighbors also have the mole issue and once they were taken care of in my yard the ones from my neighbors migrated to mine making it a viscous cycle of infestation. I have gone in a different direction to remedy the mole issue and it seems to be working so far... FIGURES CROSS!

We had bad service experience. We hired them to catch and release wild life. They were paid upfront, guaranteed at least 7 day trapping. They did 4 days, then left without catching anything. The sales person promised to bring the trap back. They never came back. Now not answering phone calls. They just took our money and didn’t get the job done

McCall has always provided great service for our family. Our tech was Haley Berry, and she was on time, friendly, and happy to answer any questions we had.

Bill has been my service technician for maybe 25 years or longer. He is very thorough and extremely knowledgeable regarding any kind of creature no matter how tiny or big. Edit to add: Had Brandy come out for service today and she gave me a call to let me know she was on the way. I was at work and unable to be there but she got rid of some mud dauber nests for us and made sure to lock our gate on the way out which was so appreciated! Always have great service!! McCall is a great service. They’re very responsive and do a great job. Had Anthony today and he was very nice and called to let me know he was going to start so I had a chance to put my pets away.

This is a great company to work with. They are very professional and knowledgeable. They have handled my property very well and love my dog. The pricing is also reasonable compared to other companies, especially for what I am getting done. Richard was great at explaining everything in detail when preparing my quote. Tim has been lovely, very professional, attentive, and cared for my property. The same compliments to Robert; he installed the new termite stations. He was very professional and caring of the property. I recommend this company. I have used them for a few years for termite prevention and now for rodent remediation.

Adam is great. He’s been our service provider for years. Additionally, completely unrelated to pest services, he discovered there was a huge crack in our cast iron drain line while under our house doing our annual termite inspection. We had at least a half dozen plumbers out here trying to find the solution to this mystery problem and not one of them spotted this. We finally had it fixed all thanks to his attention to detail and care. Thank you!!

Ashley G came out to perform our quarterly pest service today and did an AMAZING job, as always. She was on time, friendly, and very knowledgable. It doesn’t occur often but she always addresses any bug issues we have. And will come back to treat again if needed.

Update: 5/10/24 Updated from 2 to 3 stars. I still use McCall for Pest services. I called Sunday about ants, and by Tuesday morning Robert was out at my house addressing it. Gave me a call to let me know, was as friendly as could be. Really appreciate him. Their pest service team seems to be good. I still do NOT recommend them for lawn care. I switched to Trutco last year and my lawn looks infinitely better than when McCall was doing my lawn care. Update: 8/14/23 DO NOT USE MCCALL FOR LAWN SERVICES! I started having McCall perform lawn maintenance (monthly fertilizer, weed treatment, fungus treatment, etc.) in November 2022. They forgot to do my aeration in March, had to call to remind them we had discussed it and I had signed in December for it to be done at beginning of growing season. They came late May, charged me ~$160 and were here for less than 10 minutes. They then didn’t come treat my yard for another 60 days after that. Now, I have an insane amount of weeds, bald spots, and the grass is multiple shades more yellow/pale than my neighbors. They charge ~$70/month and after the first visit, spent no more than 10 minutes at my house each month. There is no way they could be inspecting my lawn for all the treatments it needs and then spraying the entire lawn in a healthy coat of their solutions in that time. They spend more time putting a sign in your yard and sending their “inspection report” than they do actually servicing your yard. If the results were there, I wouldn’t care if they spent 30 seconds here, but my lawn is in really rough shape after being in their hands for 9 months. See pictures, although the volume and pervasiveness of the weeds doesn’t come through as well as in person. I’ve also switched to Trutco who has came and actually done treatments since I left McCall, which has the grass looking a lot greener than when I first cancelled my service with mccall. ——- I use McCall for pest control and lawn maintenance care. They are excellent. Haven’t had any pest problems since moving in and they are always happy to answer any questions I have. Amber, my sales rep has been a great contact for billing and scheduling my services. Robert and Morgan came by recently, with Robert showing me where to clean in the sink to deal with the drain flies and Morgan giving me additional tips to help contain them and sharing other helpful information about my house and lawn. Whole heartedly recommend this company, they seem to place an emphasis on quality and customer care.

Paid an astronomical amount of money to perform termite inspection on house and install bait stations. Today tech called to inform me that he was coming onsite to take the stations out of my yard. Called him back immediately and told him I paid for them, don’t take. He replied that it was already done and wasn’t coming back. This was in a 3.5 minute timeframe. Left holes throughout my yard.I wasn’t never informed that the stations weren’t mine when I agreed to the service that is very expensive. What exactly was I paying for? Be careful, very misleading and costly for something you actually do not own!

After 22 years of continued service, I had some home repairs that showed termite damage. They refused any liability because they state there were no active live termites, even though it was obvious to their inspector, my contractor and my painter, which were all dumbfounded that they denied ANY repair responsibility or compensation for the damage. My termite bond was current since 1997 and they sprayed monthly. Poor customer service. I have obvious photos that shows termites did the damage! Consider this if your looking for a reputable company! 2 days after the company replied they would reach out…. NOTHING! I have requested a written denial from the manager, Perry Hudson three times and NOTHING To all customers, this was their reply: We will be reaching out to your service center to see what we can do to make it better. Thank you. GUESS WHAT, THEY DID REPLY AND STILL DENIED ANY RESPONSIBILITY. Don't reply saying you will see what you can do to make your Google reviews sound empathetic to your customers. Their excuse is that I had termites prior to starting service from McCall...22 years ago! Really, then how could you agree the new service and why did your inspectors not catch this for 22 FULL YEARS!!!!! Here is the reply from Perry Hudson, the company branch manager: Our decision is based on the inspection performed by Khalil Prattis. During his inspection he did note there was sub- terranean termite damage found. After de-briefing with the management team, he verified there were no signs of live termites at the damaged sites. The company shall not be responsible for termite and/or insect damage which existed prior to company's initial treatment. Everyone, lesson learned, check with your company's policy and switch to a company that will not leave you in the dust after 22 years of service!
