He was on time every day, communicated extremely well, and explained what he was doing so I always knew what to expect. He took great care of my home, brought in and adjusted fans and dehumidifiers to prevent additional damage, and monitored moisture levels until everything was dried properly. Used First Coast to dry up areas from a shower leak. Victor Carvalho was able to explain everything that happened and what I needed to expect. He carefully pulled up flooring and baseboards, saving pieces that could be used again. He left my house clean without a trace of floor demolition. He left 4 floor fans and a dehumidifier and came back to check on them for 4 straight days. He checked the moisture level and removed/repositioned fans each day until the final area dried. He was communicative on his arrival time and worked with me during work days when I couldn’t be home. Thank you First Coast and Victor for saving portions of my home and leaving me with peace of mind from any ongoing water damage.

We hired First Coast (based on good ratings) to replace some rotten posts on our front porch. We are elderly, and my husband is very handy so we tend to be pretty picky when we have work done. Marc (the company contact), Dennis (project mgr), and Tony (carpenter) were all great! They understood what we needed, did exactly what they said they would do, and did quality work! We are VERY HAPPY and would hire them again for sure! I'm attaching a photo (We told them we would do the painting!).

We hired First Coast Contracting to close off and convert a small loft into an office, and they did a great job. The new door and wall look amazing and seamlessly fit into the flow of the house. We had a tree fall on our house and it did some damage to one side of the house, we contacted our insurance company and then contacted First Coast Contracting. Jason came out and accessed the damage to the wall and the window and began getting everything needed for the repair, in no time the window was replaced and the wall was repaired and it looks like nothing ever happened to our house. Very fast and professional and friendly service. Jason did the final walk through this morning and we could not be happier with the whole job. I have had a miserable experience dealing with First Coast contracting. One of the owners came out for the quote. Apparently the person there for the quote is not the person who writes the quote. Due to this major part of the project was left off like painting after they hung the new drywall or fixing the crooked ceiling or replacing the electrical outlets. When we brought any concerns up they would just talk in circles instead of owning up to there mistakes and fixing the issues. I personally will never hire them again because they cause more headaches than they do fixing things. It is very unclear who is in charge. I had about 4 different people tell me they are an owner of this company. Very poor structure resulting in even worse service. Please see pictures of how electric electrical outlets were left after they said they would replace them. Ceiling left crook. Vents not replaced and lots of caulk to fill in gaps instead of the seamless look they promised. Not what I would personally classify as exceptional work. The manager or owner Jason is also very rude and let himself into my house through the back door without knocking like he owned the place they did not respect my home.

Dennis and his team at 1st Coast Contracting did an amazing job on the repairs at my home. I had water damage to my entire living room, including the ceiling and floors. The work they did was top notch. Looking at my living room now, you wouldn't know that water damage was ever there. Dennis kept me informed every step of the way during this process. Always provided excellent customer service, professionalism, and respect to my home. I've attached before and after photos.

Marc White with First Coast Contracting has been phenomenal to work with. He was hired to do Truss work on one of my listings and didn’t not disappoint! He’s punctual, professional and reasonably priced.

We worked with First Coast Contracting for our two bathroom remodels. We had mold remediation done two years ago by another company and they left us with a half-done job. First Coast definitely stepped up to the plate to help us get the bathrooms exactly how we wanted them. Their prices were reasonable and their team was great to work with. Marc came out to do our estimation and also worked on other project details with us and he was great. Very detail-oriented, knowledgeable, and dedicated to making sure we felt heard and that things were done right. Their estimator, Riley, was extremely prompt in her email communications and very helpful if we ever had any questions. We had some more complex questions we needed help with, and the owner, Ray, was on the phone with us in no time to walk us through the answers to our questions. Our contractor Miro was efficient and worked tirelessly to make sure we were getting exactly what we wanted. He was open to all our questions and concerns and didn’t hesitate to jump on touch-ups that we noticed along the way. During the process of our remodel, we ran into a problem that resulted in our shower floor needing to be redone and materials repurchased, and Marc and the team immediately addressed the issue and made sure to make it right. We are very satisfied with the service we received and even happier with how our bathrooms turned out! The before and after photos speak for themselves!

If you have the unfortunate experience of having water damage, look no further than First Coast Contracting, I had a toilet leak on the 2nd floor that damaged my ceiling below. Contacted them on a Sunday and within 1 hour had a response from Marc and within 2 hours Ray was at my house. They addressed the issue quickly and dried everything out before additional damage could occur or mold could grow thus saving me $$$. Their pricing was upfront and extremely fair and also much less than the large national companies. Ray also stuck to the original estimate and checked on the status on site personally each day, Highly recommend FCC!

First Coast Contracting did a wonderful job on my home renovation project. There was great communication. Marc came originally to go over everything and was very thorough. The estimate I received from Riley was extremely detailed and helpful. Clovis came to install my pendant lights and was amazing. I even lost a piece of hardware light and he helped me search all over for it (we finally found it thankfully). Their rates were reasonable. Overall, a great experience. A summer storm caused a significant amount of damage to the roof, eves and front of our house. Lightning hit a tree causing the damage. It was a mess and frankly, we weren’t entirely prepared to deal with the clean up and repairs. The first call was to our insurance company who sent an agency to mitigate the damage. But we were left to try to figure out the rest of it. Another frustrated call to the insurance company provided a contact to a contractor which proved to be a blessing. First Coast Contractors arrived; then reviewed and supplied scope of work to do the restoration. I had heard stories about contractors before, so I admit to being skeptical. However, the professionalism, knowledge and demeanor Ray Nagy and his team demonstrated set my concerns aside. After signing a contract, they were on the project of restoring our house. Any question I had was promptly answered. When they set a date to be here to work, they were here to work. As a woman, I truly appreciated that. I NEVER felt that I was getting lip service. As with any construction job, with lots of moving parts, issues arise. And there were with this project. However, they were quickly addressed, resolved and the project advanced. When they were examining the hole in our bedroom ceiling, they were frank in telling me that they might not be able to match the existing plaster job which is old school 1970’s high profile. Also, the original plan was to remove the wall paper and paint the wall due to the proximity of the hole to the front window. I like the wall paper and it would be impossible to match. Their guys did an outstanding job. You can’t even tell there was ever a hole there. And the wallpaper was unscathed. The job site was always orderly and crews were respectful. I fully recommend First Coast Contractors. They did a great job. Our home looks great, you’d never be able to tell there was so much damage.

The FCC crew were awesome to work with. Our first contractor dipped out on us and left the site in a terrible mess. FCC was one of the companies I called to get the project finished, and we chose them based on 1) professionalism, 2) thoroughness during the initial walkthrough, and 3) fair and reasonable quote. Throughout the project, I learned they run a tight ship: good communication, they keep their work area pristine (huge plus for me), great resource management (no materials gone to waste), timely, and extremely efficient. Everyone that came by were kind and respectful of the house, which added to the already great experience. As remodeling newbs, we also appreciated their advice on some of the design aspects I wasn’t sure about. TL;DR: give them a call! You won’t regret it.
