Romney Pest Control does very well in controlling the spiders and ants in our house. My only reason for the four star rating is that we really need a 30 minute heads up notification to get dogs out of the house. I texted this morning to request that but did not receive a response before he showed up to spray. I will just need to call the office and have that note put on our account. Otherwise, all good.

I will say there are one or two technicians here that are stellar but they are like rare gems. Most give the lowest effort possible. I would constantly need to be calling back to tell them about ants, earwigs and beetles over and over again. And then should you be unlucky enough to get them, some technicians are downright horrendous. One guy walked into my living room and sprayed all over my furniture and the kids toys and the electronics not just down low by the baseboards where I might think it was a mistake he actually sprayed all over the speakers and game systems, on the couch cushions and throw pillows and into (not around, INTO) the bins of toys. I tried to stop him but he ignored me until I said it three times and then he argued with me about it yelling that he didn’t know what I wanted if he couldn’t spray where he wanted. I had to ask him to leave because I didn’t feel safe. I tried telling Romney I never wanted him to return, yet today he called to say he was my technician and was on his way over. When I said thank you but I don't need you to come to my house today he got very angry and told me he was coming anyway because it was on the schedule. I kept saying no thank you and he finally relented but I was shaking in fear by the end. Im a stay at home mom and could only think of what might have happened if he had showed up at my doorstep. Proceed with caution if you still want to try this company.

Very thorough servicing all around house with a scrubber brush to knock down the many wasps nests. Today was my first service with them and both the receptionist I booked with and the Tech, Matt, who showed up next day were very kind and patient. Matt did not hesitate to volunteer in throwing away a flower bed that I believed a hive was located in when I told him I was nervous about it. There was in fact one active hive in there and he handled it like a champ!

Sidney was wonderful! We had quite a problem with hornet and wasp nests outdoors and he took the time to explain to me what he was going to do to fix the problem and then he did it. I have never seen so many upset flying insects at one time, but Sidney was dressed for it - covered from head to toe - and did not stop until the job as done. Now we can go outside without fear of being stung. He also treated the rest of the outside for pests so we do not have to deal with them coming into our home. I can't say enough nice things about the service he provided! We use Romney year round to help us control the insect situation around our home and have been pleased with the job they do.

Tron took care of all of the many yellow jacket nests on the property and also treated for fire ants. He then treated the interior to cover additional pests.

Usually a good job. Mosquitos and ants are hard to manage. Maybe pest management should automatically come back instead of waiting for the customer to call for a retreating. “Just an automatic service of respray treatment for nuisance 🐜 and skeeters. 🦟. You know the in between treatment. 😘

The technician did a great job at getting rid of the wasp/hornet nests. He told me that I had 90 days for a retreatment. The wasps showed up the next day. If I knew that I only had 14 days I would’ve called back immediately. I was told the wrong information. I will not be using their service again because I wasted 250$ for wasps to show up the next day.

Austin came over for a termite inspection. He was very thorough and very patient. I have nothing but great things to say about Romney's technicians and services.

Not impressed with the service . I called to receive services for signs of mouse activity . The technician showed up and started to spray around the outside of my home as well as inside my home . Stated he placed bait boxes outside .<br><br>He asked where I have noticed the mice activity and I showed him to my kitchen area . He glanced and felt under my sink cabinets and felt a gap stating , yeah this is most likely where they are getting in .<br><br>Explained he could place poison bait but if it dies in the walls the smell would be bad and offered an odor eliminating bag .<br><br>Stated “Okay well that’s it , you should be good .” I was taken back and felt confused …<br><br>Long story short , I had to basically force him to move a few appliances to look behind where I had heard and suspected activity to look for entry points because I was terrified to do it myself and the reason why I hired a professional company !! We found a big hole in a cabinet next to my stove and mouse droppings . He told me “Yeah you are gonna have to make sure to seal that and the gap under the cabinets and that should help !”<br><br>Needless to say he left and me ( a scared , single mother ) to end up attempting to patch and seal up those areas around a gas line mind you ! I literally was told they would patch up entry points unless it was something massive and none of that was done !<br><br>Hiring this company was a waste of time and money !! I feel I should’ve just hired a handy man to do the job. I do not recommend!

The person came to the door with hat and glasses and a bandanna on his face. Not a professional greeting. I understand the need for protection for chemicals but not for ringing the doorbell.

Once again like everyime before I am taking the time to write a review for the technician and Romney for hiring only the best. Marco came out and was professional and informative. He let me know what he was going to do and the order he would be doing it. He was even understood when I asked him to start outside because I forgot to move furniture inside from the walls. He also listened to my past experience with elevated activity and put more product in those areas. In addition I recommend Romney to any and everyone I can for the following reasons. 1. Everyone I have had contact with has been professional and did not make me feel like I was just a stop on their schedule. 2. Hasn't happened often at all but the one or two times I may not have been available for them to do the inside and chose to skip, I later saw a single spider inside. I called and they came right out to do the inside with no additional charge. 3. From my experience anytime I have and company I deal with on an ongoing basis. I get 3 or 4 good technician but there will always be a few that miss the mark. Not the case with Romney, have been a client for years and have never had a bad interaction NOT ONCE! My only complaint is that they are not in the Oklahoma area so I could recommend to family and friends. Trust me when I tell you they will take care of your needs and if they don't, they will always make it right with a simple phone call or text. I continue to recommend them 7 days a week ans twice on Sunday!

Simply due to no effort on the technician /representative from Romney he missed two wasp nests. One I caught before he left my property and this other one since it was behind the mounted TV device he didn’t see it.<br>Truly I’d say u have called the company to remove these pests many times but they remove only the more obvious ones.<br>Normally I don’t have any issues at all with the representatives but today I did!

The tech always arrives on time and does great job spraying and putting out bait, and he was aware of our request not to put out bait in our back yard where our dogs live. He was very courteous and even helped me move some patio equipment to get to the ants we found.

Over promised and did not deliver. I asked for an effective rodent control, customer service got said they take care of the problem at a certain price. I was charge and extra $100 for rat boxes at the time of service. Not happy with the service, I called to ask what can we do about it to resolve the issue, very frustrating I can’t get a hold of a human representative.

Technician was incredibly helpful and friendly. He let us know everything we needed to in order to ensure safety of our home from termites and also helped with other questions we had and helped with getting rid of other bug problems even though he only had to do termites. It means alot to know that the company we work with goes above and beyond for us

Marko recently serviced my exterior, for a routine appt. I happened to catch a glimpse of him in my pool area and was very pleased to witness the time and care he took spraying every area and check for wasps etc. We have been with Romney thru 2 homes over the past 12 years.

This previous company had a long list of services they don’t cover. (Second story wasp nests, spraying window sills, etc) So I learned quick the services I would need from the next company.<br><br>Romney is friendly, has great communication, is locally ran, and thorough in their work. I only mentioned the pest control I needed help with and they took care of the rest. Was with Romney for 4 years. Service steadily declined to the point where I recently cancelled my service. The Sentricon termite service is a joke. Paid $2000 total and only saw the tech a few times (I'm aware they come out every 6 mos, but he only came in my backyard twice). Then when my contract was up, I tried to cancel twice and they wouldn't let me, indicting that the billing would continue "as long as the Sentricon stations were in the ground". Note that they were "in the ground" when I bought the house 5 years ago; so I own them, not Romney. Their stance was that they installed them when they initialized my service - but in reality they only "installed" or repaired a few, the rest were existing. I have photos evidencing this as well. Pay attention to the fine print in the contract and what they are billing you for, they will prey on you financially if you're not careful. There are many other highly rated competitors in the market (with more competitive pricing), choose wisely - I will be doing so moving forward!

Tech showed up and called me to say he was at the property. I told him I forgot about this appointment but to go ahead and treat the exterior. He said sure, no problem. When I rolled into my neighborhood 5 minutes later I saw him exiting and zero treatment had been done!! The ground should be wet from spray and you should see granules in the yard. I think it is horrible to take people’s money for no services carried out!! We have been customers of Romney Pest Control for years, but this has me thinking twice about continuing. Be sure to be home for all services.

Bobby has always been a great individual representing Romney. He has done pest control and now he is doing termite inspections he gave us a lot of great info that I really hadn't though about. My appointment was between 8am & 12 pm, at 11:30 my service person gave me a call saying she was running behind and would come about 12:30 pm. I know she is a good worker. It seems I could have been notified earlier, my schedule was fixed around the 4 hour window Romney asked for of my time, so it actually became 51/2 hours. If I had known it would have been very helpful as I needed to run an urgent errand. I also couldn’t because I had a clock repair appointment in my home @ 1 pm. A little more customer support would be welcomed. The service tech knew much earlier she was going to be late is my opinion Thanks !

We called Romney Pest Control, and they sent out a great technician, Datron. He was very professional, courteous, and informed us to what would all be taken care of during his service. We appreciated that he went to great lengths in explaining everything in detail as we are new clients to Romney. We told him that we have a lot of wasp's nests at the front door, asked if he could spray in the garage too, and we knew he would handle the front & back yards. I have been a customer with Romney Pest Control for 6 years now , I was having problems with a lot of scorpions and spiders , but once Romey Services started we haven't seen a scorpion in some time . Romney Agent representative are very professional at all times , they answer all your questions, even point out things that's one might not know was going on , and last , they are always will to accommodate your schedule by rescheduling appointments made to come out and service your home . My wife and I are Ministers and we travel a lot , attend quite a few events , and Romney Office management understands when we call to reschedule they never get an attitude or even try not working with us . I very Proud and pleased with their services and their entire staff from top to bottom, so anyone need a good Pest Control company, try Romney.

Not sure why this place has such good reviews. I will be moving on to another company that will actually take care of our needs. They do not answer their phones for one. Two, I was told I'd be getting a courtesy call 30 minutes before arrival and then was told my phone number was not taken down so I did not receive a call. This allowed me no time to prep my animals. Three, and biggest of all, my house (both inside and out) look NO different. It doesn't even seem like the one problem area I told them to focus on was touched. I'm extremely disappointed and will be canceling my contract. I do not recommend this company to anyone. Absolute waste of my money and time.

Our experience with Romney Pest Control has been a total disaster. We previously used another company, but were interested in seeing whether Romney could provide more responsive service and better results than our previous pest control company, so we agreed to switch to Romney after a visit from a sales representative. Our issue has been, primarily, wasps.<br><br>The first person that came out to treat our property was unprofessional in his appearance and demeanor, showed up with a cigarette in his mouth, and left that used cigarette on our property after the service. The treatment did not improve our wasp situation.<br><br>The second person (different employee) that came out to readdress the wasp issue treated the property and then assured me that he had verified there were no wasp nests on the property, and therefore if we saw any more wasps then it must be because the neighbors have them (we have verified with both of our neighbors that they do not have problems with wasps). Later that day, I went around the side of the house for something, and happened to look up to see a huge wasp nest under the second floor window. We called the previous employee back out who then came and knocked down the nest. I can only conclude that if he missed such an obvious and active wasp nest when he was called to my home specifically to treat wasps, that he was simply not doing his job with any kind of effort or attention to detail.<br><br>In the days since that last treatment, our wasp problem has gotten worse and expanded form the side and back of the home to right by our front door. There is absolutely no indication that Romney's treatments are effective at all against them, even though they repeatedly assure us that it should keep them away for 90 days. It could be that their employees are showing up and not doing what they tell us they're doing. I don't know—either way, we're paying money and getting bad customer service and no results. We intend to switch to a new pest control company ASAP and, based on our experience, highly discourage anyone else from using this company.
