This review is unique and may not represent the experiences of others. ABS Insulation completed work on my attic space, and they did an amazing job. Based on that experience, I contacted them in regards to a unique project, a rescue vehicle that I am converting to a RV. Initially, the sales associate contacted me immediately, wanted to see the project and was genuinely enthusiastic. But then, missed appointment, and another, and another. It was a battle of wills to get a quote. I have never had to try so hard to give people my money, but this sales associate… well, let’s just say, he should look for better opportunities. As the quote provided was double his estimate, a good FU, we DON’T want this job. Which I totally understand, unique project, no problem. But based on the sales team, this company has no integrity, and certainly no honor. If you don’t want the job, man up, and tell the customer. Stringing a customer along for weeks is unprofessional. As others as certainly willing to fulfill the needs of those who are willing to pay. If you have a cookie cutter project, and are interested in a company that will threaten you with a house lean on your house at the drop of a hat, please hire ABS. If you have something a bit unique, continue your search, avoid ABS Insulation.

make sure you check your trailer before leaving this facility they purposely damage your trailer and not want to pay the manager there will lie to you give you a phone number once you leave that the last you will hear from them!

I have used ABS and Mark Moore for years. They have insulated my personal house and I have referred them to do insulation and guttering to my friends. Mark is always available for questions and explains the process from start to finish. The office team is also great to work with when dealing with them. I highly recommend ABS.

We have used ABS for insulation construction jobs in the past and have not been disappointed. We are finishing a walk out basement and recently hired them to do the insulation. Keith came out promptly to estimate and even with the current manpower shortage was able to get us scheduled pretty quickly after a few texts back and forth. The basement was poorly insulated by the original builder and not up to current standards. Rick and Joel arrived on time and did an excellent job. They placed fiberglass cavity insulation and sealed the conditioned space with house wrap and sealants. They even sealed gaps between studs. When they were done, they cleaned up and got rid of any garbage. I do most of my own work and am GCing this project since it’s hard to get contractors right now. Insulation can be itchy and dirty work (I break out easily from the fiberglass). It is well worth the cost to have pros come out and get it done and up to code the right way. What took them a day would have taken me at least three or four. I was able to schedule inspections for the following day and can move on to the next step of our finish. Thanks!

If you're looking for straight-forward good work and customer service, and contractors who are true to their word and show up on schedule - look no further. These are your guys! I called Mark Moore on the recommendation of a friend who had used them at his house. The scheduling for my job was a little unusual due to lack of availability of some of the materials at the factory due to COVID. Mark worked with me every step of the way, and allowed me to procure my own materials through my work. I was only charged for the labor. While I waited for the insulation, which was on back-order, Mark kept in good communication and answered any of my questions or concerns along the way promptly. When things were finally ready to roll, Mark scheduled at the earliest opportunity and the crew showed up on time and did a quick and clean job. All the old insulation was cleaned up nicely. Also, the invoice was exactly as the original quote - no add-ons or surprises. If I have any other work in the future, I will be asking for Mark and his crew.

I've had a great experience doing business with ABS Insulating. Not only have they insulated my house but have also installed gutters on my house and saved me money by installing insulating covers over my stairs and fan. Mark Moore, their installers and office personnel are really good people and very knowledgeable in their business. My whole experience was very good.

I had some real bad experiences with contractor/tradesman. Mark cares about quality of care and professionalism. He did what he said he would do at the price quoted. Period. Such a relief.

Feel obligated to share my experience(s) with ABS and Mark Moore. Bought a total fixer upper late 2019. My uncle recommended giving Mark a call to redo my gutters. Mark came out within 3 days, looks at my gutters and says there’s really no need to replace them-that they still haVe good 10 years of life in them. Engagement 1-prioritized being honest over profit. Can count on one hand how many times that has happened during my home renovation. Engagement 2-Fielded quotes from several basement encapsulation companies in CLT / Rock Hill. COMPARING APPLES TO APPLES-Mark came in $7000 less than the next most competitive quote. Literally 1/3 the price. The result-unreal. His team did exactly what they said they would, zero up charges, zero games played, etc. Engagement 3-Attic insulation. Called Mark Monday-had insulation by Wednesday. I know for a fact we used more insulation than he quoted originally (he quoted the job 9 months prior when he looked at the gutters). In that 9 mo to period I removed some of the attic insulation via falling through the ceiling). Never tried to up charge, never tried to play any games, honored his original quote....unreal Just built a garage and need gutters-I’m not even going to call any other company to quote the job. Mark Moore all day.

Very impressed with ABS....They were a word-of-mouth recommendation, and I had no prior experience with them. Specifically, I worked with consultant Mark Moore, who was very attentive to my needs. He spent a lot of time in my home, and he and I worked together to formulate a plan that made the most sense. The ABS installation team, led by Noe and Casiano, were on time, thorough, clean, and very professional....I am so impressed with them. I couldn’t be happier with the entire experience.

ABS Insulating did an outstanding job of installing gutter guards on my house. They went above and beyond to make sure the gutters were clean and functioning properly before installing the gutter guards. They were respectful of my time and my property. I am excited that I no longer have to clean my gutters several times a year. The cost was very fair and they did not try to sell me on additional products. I highly recommend ABS Insulating.

The team I worked with to get my install completed was courteous, professional, and knowledgeable about the products. As a contractor, ABS is my go to place for insulation supply and installation. Even for my personal home. Very reasonable pricing. They do gutters as well.

Mark at ABS Insulating made suggestions to insulate my garage. His team including Keith came out and installed quality R21 batting. The insulation was carefully installed into every nook and cranny in the ceiling between the joists. There were no gaps due to the fluorescent lamp fixtures, door motors, and other protrusions. I was able to test with the propane heater I had been using prior. The garage heated up much faster and became and remained comfortable at a lower heating level. Win!

To be perfectly honest I am unsure of the quality of work this company offers as I have not sourced them for business. However, their driver(s) are ignorant in the rules/ laws of driving. Going 85 in a 70 while it’s raining, pushing people to go faster in heavy traffic and switching in and out of lanes with no turn signal is unnecessary and dangerous. I wish I would have been able to get the license plate or van number of the specific vehicle I witnessed almost cause two accidents.

As a builder, I paid the agreed amount on a project. One of their salesmen rang the doorbell of the customer and threatened to place a lien on the house if we didn't pay more money. I have left several messages for the owner, Allan, over the past month, but have not received a returned phone call. I have been building for over 15 years and never run in to a more unprofessional company.
