The Bug Master

They did a really bad job at bug control. They promise they will fix the spiders and ants problems inside the house but still remained. I don’t see any benefits of the guy just casually spray the chemicals around but you simply buy from HEB. I complained many times, all they do is to charge you on a monthly basis. Avoid this company and try to find some local ones that really care about customers!!

They sprayed my apartment a couple of times still seeing roaches. When they spray for spiders seems like more comes out. It must be some kind of scent that's attracted them chemicals do not work watered down

This company’s employee was caught on my home cameras stealing from our place on 8/18/2024 at 12:32pm. We have several cameras setup here. I gave this company an opportunity to make it right and they said to “just file a police report”. For me, this isn’t about the money that’s gone, it’s about security and professionalism. We didn’t even need our place exterminated. They came to INSPECT while we weren’t even home and that’s how this company can legally enter your home and illegally steal from you. Do not trust them with your business or home. And to the company who hired this man: Do you not inform your employees that we’re living in a world where everyone has cameras?<br><br>UPDATE/ EDIT: We did file a police report with HPD and we DID provide them with video evidence. The supervisor on that shift was the one who told us to file a police report. It’s not too late to reach out us and resolve this issue. We are waiting.

Robert is always prompt and courteous. He got all nests down and sprayed in areas. Also sprayed attic as well. He always does a great job, and with s smile on his face.

Jeff is a true professional when it comes to bugs. We had a slight problem with a few spiders and he came in swinging doing anything and everything to kill anything that didn't be along. He also found a hornet that needed to be eliminated. Very informative and true professional. Well done Jeff.

I’ve had Bug Master for over a year and they were great… until 6 weeks ago when we noticed wasps making a home within our siding high up on the second floor.<br><br>We immediately contacted Bug Master and they sent out Tim who was great but unfortunately didn’t have a tall enough ladder to actually reach them. He did what he could and said Bug Master would send someone else with a tall ladder if we still noticed wasps after a few days… and so the cycle began.<br><br>The wasps never went away, we would contact Bug Master and who would they send out every time? Tall Ladderless Tim! Today was our fourth time asking for someone to come out for the wasps and each time they send out Tim. I feel so bad for the guy, because both of us know it’s a waste of time for everyone involved for him to be sent out to our house for a problem he can’t fix.<br><br>It’s truly maddening. We know Bug Master has the ability to fix our wasp problem. They just have to send someone with a tall ladder!! But either they have 0 form of communication between their field people and their office about what their customer needs or they just don’t care. I told them in my last email not to send anyone unless they had a tall ladder but nope, only Tim came.<br><br>Thank you Tim for doing your best I guess. Tim is the only reason why I’m giving any stars at all because this 6 week experience has been ridiculous

Jeff did a fantastic job. With this influx in rain this summer, the spiders have been ramping up and making their way into our house. The final straw was when I killed on on my daughters headboard. Jeff came out and took extra care to ensure coverage around my daughters bed and throughout her room, the windows and the exterior of the house and windows. I know the spray isn't an instant kill, but with the addional spray inside and out, I hope to slow them down.

Michael was our tech and did an amazing job. He was patient with my 3 loud barking dogs and took care to answer all of my questions.

I called several places I found on line and they all told me to look up something else. I finally called Bug master and they understood and booked my appointment for Monday they day Beryl came to visit us in Texas. My appointment was canceled because of bad weather. I called and explained I had bird mites in my kitchen vent and needed urgent help. And then they booked me the next day. Tray came on time 8am. I have been with Bugmaster for a few years now and think it's about time I praise their great service. When we first moved into this home we had many bug problems with the biggest being scorpions. We immediately contacted The Bugmaster with just a tiny bit of research but much more by happenstance. Suffice it to say we have NEVER-EVER again had any problems with insects or pests of any kind years running. Today as a matter of routine, Daniel came out and was just as thorough, courteous and professional as all of the techs I have dealt with since the beginning. Pleasant Young man, but I had to ask him specifically to spray around the garage doors and the front door because he didn't do that . That is where the bugs come in at the doors. Overall seemed like a nice young man.

I really don’t know what my yard was treated for, the technician knocked on the door and immediately started spraying at the front door before I could answer it. So I went out through the side entrance and talked with him about the treatment, but he said he wasn’t here for the mosquito treatment, my wife called to confirm the treatment for mosquitos, the office said he would do it while he was here, the technician finished his work and left and didn’t explain what type of treatment was performed, never made contact with us prior to leaving after the initial treatment began.

The Bug Master technicians are thorough and know how to eliminate all pests. I’ve used The Bug Master for five years and have never had an issue with any pests inside my home. I have them treat the outside perimeter only and it works great.

You guys I've been using the bug master for some time now and by far the best tech that's ever came to my house is Tim. He goes above and beyond to spray my house and keep the bugs out! Tim, our tech is awesome. He is very thorough and takes his time. I’ve used several other pest control companies and even fell for the door to door sales guys in the past. All of which have been underwhelming. Tim will explain what he’s doing and answers any questions we have. We will remain loyal to bug master because of Tim.

They are always on time and will come out in between their scheduled appointments with no extra charge. They are meticulous and always provide information and answers to questions. You will notice results instantly.

This is the second time Tim serviced our residence. I didn’t think lightening struck twice as far as superb, top notch service, but I stand corrected. Once again, he was attentive as I identified the areas where I spotted the creepy crawlies, and then proceeded to administer the magic potion to evict them. Luckily, they were all outdoors. I am happy to report that since his last visit, I haven’t seen any insects indoors! I can’t thank The Bug Master enough for hiring quality staff like Tim that take pride in putting the customer’s needs first. Keep up the great work, Tim!

Aaron was very cordial and did a great job looking over everything before beginning to spray. Kept me informed on when they would arrive and the service they would be performing. Their office takes forever to respond, if they even bother to respond. Customer service was awful. Many times we had residents waiting for a technician, and they wouldn’t show up, and not even bother contacting us. We constantly had residents complain that the technicians will always be rushed and half do their job. They’d be in an out in less than a minute. We never saw results in years working with them, but the second our contract ended, we went to a different company, we immediately started seeing changes and our residents are very happy that the now can see results.

I'm doing this review late. I do not recall my technicians name but he was awesome. He came to my unit at the Redford Apartments and again was AWSOME!! I have a lot of allergies and I was telling him how I can do bugs because my body reacts. He went on to explain how roaches come in contact with many things and brings that with them when they surface. Even with professional services I also stay on top of pest control myself. I'm sure the company will know which technician I had and please let him know I apologize for the late survey but KUDOS to him. He was great and very much so educated and gave me a product to view on Amazon that has I think uv lights that help with pest control and allergens.

John was very professional and helpful. He explained everything he was going to do as well as gave me a few tips to keep things under control. John really went above and beyond what the normal exterminator would do or explain. Since he used to clean carpet, he also gave me some tips for keeping my carpet clean. I would recommend the Big Master for getting rid of bed bugs.

Bennie is one of the most professional and enthusiastic staff of the Bug master company I have ever seen. He came to exterminate cockroach in my kitchen on Friday 26 may 2023 at the Gables Metropolitan Uptown 3300 Sage rd. Houston Texas 77056. He knew what to do. He took the fridge and stove out to spay the drug. The company should raise his salary.<br>By the way, one thing I want Bug master improve is that the company should make an appointment with the customer before coming. Let the customer choose the time slot that is most convenient to them. With the help of the house owner, the worker will know how to best exterminate the bugs.

The Bug Master has serviced our community for a while, and they are always fast, friendly, and responsive to our resident's needs. If there is ever an issue, they work to resolve it. John just came today and was friendly and asked what we needed, was quick, and professional.

I’ve had a serious roach problem since I’ve moved in to my apartment and Bug Master has been very helpful in explaining best practices to get rid of roaches.<br><br>John was very helpful, knowledgeable, and professional. Went above and beyond to assess my apartment, explain why the roach problem is as bad as it is and, what the next steps are to get rid of them. I’ve noticed a difference in the number of roaches since the first treatment and feel confident that steps shared by John will ensure a roach free apartment for me!

We had the best experience with John. He was aware and paid close attention to the fact we had animals and little children. He informed us of everything done, and what was needed. I will call this place and have him back the next time we need to get rid of bugs that can hurt my family.

On today, 02/27/2022 I was supposed to have a clean out done on my apartment The Lodge @ 1550, hence WAS. I had done what was asked to be cleaned, decluttered and pulled out, but was still refused service because the technician who didn’t even bother giving me his name, wouldn’t allow me to have 5 or so minutes for me to be able get my kids together, and all my bags out the door, but no, that apparently was way too inconveniencing for the technician that he didn’t even say a word and turned away, gotten in his car and left (with no warning when he was going to be arriving either, as I had called earlier that morning to by chance see when he was going to possibly be arriving, but it was apparently hard to tell me when he’d show up even though he was there within 10 minutes of the call.) I have a 9 week old and a 19 month old living with me, as I’m also a single mother so how am I expected to just be waiting by the door with my infant and toddler with no time frame of when he would arrive. I think maybe working on communication, common courtesy and better customer service is strongly recommended because it was down right rude to not even say a word to me.

Please show respect to the clients you service. I come home every week to one of your vehicles parked in my paid reserved parking spot. Whoever comes to 2001 Burke in Pasadena needs to be spoken to about this lack of respect.

Ben was very professional and is highly recommended for households that are concerned about the ramifications of prevention on their children’s or animal’s well-being. Ben modified his treatment plan upon finding out I had animals on the premise and walked me through how he was laying a non-toxic treatment; which in turn was effective. He was thorough, descriptive about the service and showed me where termite prevention had been installed by the previous owner. Highly recommend this company.

OMG Bennie is the best he so kind and knowledgeable. I know I was a headache asking him a tone of questions but he was so patient with me and answered all my questions. He use a pet friendly Chemical inside my home. I left my fur babies in there cage for a few hours and when I let them out they didn’t notice anything. He used harder chemicals outside in the garage. The same day I saw those big nasty Texas tree roaches dead in the garage “THANK YOU!” Today is day 3 since Bennie treated my home and I haven’t seen a thing. I am so thankful for Bennie’s help!

Tech left rain guard off mosquito system. Computer control ruined by rain. But they never told us until we complained about mosquitoes 6 months later. When we called to complain about this, they explained they had identified the system to be broken months earlier (with no reference to rain damage) and had emailed and called us to this effect. (We had received neither an email nor call). Somehow, though they continued to bill and collect from us for three services after this date (over $600) when they had, in fact, never been to our home.<br><br>We had a third party in the industry evaluate. He identified the damage to be caused by water and identified the rain guard had been left off the system. Further, their tech had completely rerouted the system, removed key elements, and left other parts submerged in the liquid product (inappropriately.)<br><br>Over $2,500 to replace system. BM denies any responsibility. AVOID AT ALL COST. Strongly consider instead ECOVISION PEST CONTROL, formerly Academic Pest Control. Andy, the owner, is reliable, honest, and knowledgeable.<br><br>RESPONSE TO OWNER'S RESPONSE: Owner continues to misrepresent the facts. They continue to falsely state that I was initially notified by them. Only after this post did they finally refund the inappropriate charges of over $600 that occurred over two billing cycles months after they claim that they had told me the system was broken. Of course I refused your offer to repair that came ONLY after we identified that you had created the problem and then lied about it. I refused your offer because I no longer trust you. But you didn't offer to cover any of the $2500 cost caused by your employee.<br><br>Avoid this business if you wish to work with people who will be truthful and honorable.

I can always count on The Bug Master to get things done at my house. They are quick to response and always take care of the issues I have. The technicians are professionals and very friendly. I don’t ever worry about any bugs making my house a house of their own.

Bennie was the exterminator that came to my apartment today. He was very knowledgeable and friendly. He went above and beyond by exterminating my place. I had never had any exterminator come to my place do a thorough job until Bennie. He sprayed behind my stove and pull out the refrigerator to spray behind it too. I was very impressed. Brandon come in and did a very good job with the diagnosis. He was very professional and was very knowledgeable and helpful in identifying the problem areas. It was quick, easy, and in my opinion could not have done a better job. I would give 0 stars but that’s not an option. They don’t offer weekend options. The lady on the phone said they could come at 730am on a weekday which was great. They call me 721am they are running late and their rep doesn’t show up till 815am. Unprofessional was told he would only have time to quickly look at the kitchen and attic since I didn’t have time and could wait on him. If this is how they treat potential clients I can only imagine how they treat the ones that pay them.

Bennie came into my home and took care of bussiness I let him know of my ongoing issue with spiders and he let me know not to worry. Covered interior and exterior thoroughly and not mention honest and polite with his work 👌🏼

It tooks them just 24h to revert to me. Their prices is very clear and contract options simple. Online interface for billing and electronic contract is very straightforward. The technician who came and their office support are very reactive, efficient, friendly and takes time to explain what they have to do in my house. When you have question after treatment; they really revert to you quickly.
