Called on two different days for a termite inspection and wdi report no call back either time. I had to call a third time just to be told the branch near me doesn't do those reports, and someone should've called me not good business ethics at all.

We had just closed on a new house when I realized that there was wood damage in the front door, door frame. My sister gave me Costa's number and when I reached out he was able to schedule us in for an inspection the very next day. We are in between homes, and states right now - remodeling this house, so this prompt response made a world of difference for us. I felt that his inspection of the home was thorough, robust, and he made a point to explain the importance of the various observations he saw. Terminex was able to come out later that week to kick off the treatment to the home giving us an immediate sense of relief.

Rip off, I paid them 435 dollars for them to come out three times in August and September. They haven’t been out since. Charged us for two months in October n November and they have never been to our house since September 18th. Didn’t pay bills and they turned us into a collection agency. 435 dollars for three visits, the last visit they only sprayed outside of house. The first clean out visit they screwed up the dates. Got completely ready and no one showed. Called them and they said we weren’t even scheduled. Told them to cancel services they talked us into trying them. Stay away

Failed to honor contract. Did not spray the agreed-upon front/back yards. One month later, my yard has a major infestation of ants/spiders. Ineffective treatment and no response from the company. Very poor service.

Stay FAR away from Terminix!<br>I’m a new homeowner and trusted Terminix because I thought they were a reputable company with years of experience. Big mistake. I paid an outrageous amount of money for a full exclusion, and the work they did was absolutely terrible.<br><br>I was told someone would come out weekly to check the traps and that by week two, the rat problem would be gone. It’s now been over a month, and every single week there are still rats being caught. I finally got so frustrated that I hired another pest control company for a second opinion, and they showed me just how bad of a job Terminix did they completely missed several openings and basically left my house exposed.<br><br>When I called Terminix to fix their mistakes, someone came out but barely did anything. They didn’t redo the bad work, and they completely stopped coming to check the traps. It’s now been four weeks with no follow-up, and I’m still catching rats.<br><br>I have a one-year warranty that means absolutely nothing because no one is taking accountability. I’ve spent so much money for zero results and constant stress. I regret ever calling them save yourself the headache and stay far, far away from Terminix!<br><br>Update: 11/12<br>This is yet another review about how terrible Terminix is! I just received a bill in the mail claiming I owe $2,500 for an exclusion, even though I went through financing and have proof that it was approved, along with a monthly payment plan. When I called to find out why I have a past-due balance when my payment isn’t even due yet, I got nothing but the runaround. They keep saying they’re “not sure” why the paperwork wasn’t filed correctly. Now, they’re threatening to send me to collections for something that’s completely their fault. This entire experience has been a nightmare just like I said in review above: RUN FAR AWAY FROM TERMINIX!

We recently had Terminix and another local provider quote dry wood termite spot and preventative treatment. The other company was cheaper, but we opted to stick with Terminix after the Sales Rep offered (in writing) a $500 refund off the quoted contract price, to be processed the day of the service appointment. Two weeks later, after chasing my refund near daily with different excuses, I am now writing this review and absolutely cannot recommend you give these guys your business. I've now been told I will receive an "email from the branch manager Monday", and that there are no notes in my file indicating the refund. I don't want an email, I want my $500 back as documented. Next stop the BBB, then Small Claims. It doesn't need to be this difficult...<br><br>Both the sales rep and the service technician that came to perform the work was very friendly and professional. This is clearly a management issue.

I feel the technicians did a good job when they arrived. I appreciate 2 men being sent with ladders so the roof could be inspected. Terminix needs to work on appointment scheduling. I took away one star because my confirmed morning appointment was rescheduled to the end of the day with no communication. After waiting from 8 to 12, I did text the technician and reschedule for another day. Everyone is very nice from the techs to the main line phone people. Perhaps with better communication, dealing with the critters and pests invading my home would be less frustrating. Thanks for coming out and fixing my problem the first time I called and not making me schedule another follow up appointment. I did extend my exclusion contract after this appointment.

Definitely wish I could see more dead bugs around. The things they spray seem to make the bugs come out but I rarely see them dead. I need my yard free of bugs so I can enjoy my cigars in peace. Outside of that, the company is great and always responsive.

Bad service<br>I am filing a formal complaint regarding the way your company handled my service.<br><br>When I first called, your employee did not clearly explain any contract terms, cancellation fees, or that I would be locked into a yearly service. I only requested a quote, not an agreement.<br><br>When your technician came to my home, I asked again about the price. Instead of giving me a clear answer, I was told to “call the account” to know how much I had to pay. This is completely unprofessional and shows that your company was not transparent from the beginning.

HORIIBLE service, they came out to fumigate for an ant issue I had inside and outside. The issue continued until my husband took to his own action and it worked, was given so much misinformation and inaccurate reporting just to get you to sign up. Tried to end the service and now they want to charge over $1000 to cancel, this company is a joke DO NOT fall for it like I did. Most highly DO NOT RECOMMEND!!!!!!

We have been with terminix for over 10 years. Moved into a new house. Spent $8,000 to do the rat infestation upgrade. During that time they disconnected ADT wire in our attic. Cost us almost $200 for ADT to come out and reconnect it. We have been fighting this company for that refund for over 2 months now. Constant runaround. Now we have gone with a new pest control. For a major company like terminix, not to be able to refund such a small amount is absolutely ridiculous! Especially, for how much money we have spent with this company over the 10 years. If you want a company that gives you good customer service I would avoid them!!

I hired Terminix for a bed bug problem, thinking a big-name company would handle it professionally. I was wrong. Communication was terrible — it could take days just to get a text or call back. Every time I told them I was still finding bed bugs, they acted like there weren’t any and dragged their feet to respond.<br><br>When they finally sent someone, he only got rid of maybe one or two bugs. Meanwhile, I kept finding them and ended up doing nearly all the work myself. I killed way more than they did. Even after paying a ridiculous $2,000, I still found one after the “treatment” was done, and I took care of that myself. Honestly, I think I solved the problem more than they ever did.<br><br>If you’re reading this, save yourself the headache and money. Look for a good local pest control company that charges a fair price and actually gets the job done, because this one sure didn’t.

Rarely show up, no call & no show several times. They are probably having people post fake 5 star reviews to keep their ratings high. When they 'check the traps' they go in the attic for 5 min or less then say 'everything is ok'. Then another guy comes and actually does the job well, takes way longer, and says he found a dead rat that has been in the trap for a long time. Very lazy workers, terrible company. Avoid at all cost. Pay someone else 2x to actually get the job done right.

The scheduling system has been extremely unprofessional. We have made two service requests and each time the technician has been a no-show with no notification of updates or cancellation. When we call to confirm the appointment scheduled, they said that there has been no record of any appointment or cancellation. It is extremely frustrating when we confirm by phone a day before and have to move around plans due to the appointment with it ending up being a no-show.

they supposedly signed me up for monthly services without asking and had exterminators on the exterior of my home. when i told them i did not want their services anymore and to stop charging the card on file they left on file, they were supposedly requesting a refund that never came. then they were supposed to come 2x — day 1 to exterminate followed by a 10 waiting window then on day 10 the exterminator was supposed to come… of course no one shows up for a service that I already paid for, they came 25 days after and I am seeing the issue again, call local mom and pops they actually care unlike these people who are just penny pushing.<br><br>so not only did they charge me for things they did not clearly tell me about, i also get to call someone who can actually do the job and show up on time.

Called on Wednesday to schedule a termite inspection. Given options to schedule for Friday or Saturday, scheduled for 1-3pm on Friday and told that a technician would give me a call 30 minutes before arrival. Great. Friday at 3:15pm I have heard nothing so I call the same number I used to schedule and talked to someone else who said my window was scheduled for 1-4pm and that someone would call 30 minutes before they arrive. I was annoyed at the time change with no notification but fine. 4:30 rolls around and I again call the same number I used to schedule and this person tells me I don't have an appointment scheduled, it's for a text/call from someone else to notify me of available appointments to schedule. She was kind and tried to help so I appreciate that but I've just planned my day around this, not to mention not looked into other options because I thought this was scheduled and would get things taken care of, and the tenant living in the house to be looked out has also planned around this. So now I have another window scheduled for tomorrow to receive a call or text with available appointments. I am so annoyed. Thankful for Kathy trying to help, but this was beyond disappointing. Especially because I'd already called to verify at 3:15pm that everything was still in order to be brushed off and told that it was.

The bug spray guys for carpenter ants and general bugs were great. The partnership Terminix has with the roofing company that installs solar vents is not so good. Charles from Terminix told me the roofing guy would look in the attic and determine the best location for the solar vents. He took a quick peek after I told him what Charles said and then proceeded onto the roof for the install of two vents. One of the vents he managed to position between two rafters while the other ended up being positioned directly over a rafter so that the rafter runs across the center of the vent. On that particular vent, when the roofer cut the hole for the vent, he nicked the rafter at two separate locations with his saw. So, the bug guys and Charles get a 10, but the roofer gets a 6....the average score is 8 for Terminix.

Wish I could put zero stars. They came over and gave me an over inflated sales pitch and price. I guess the figured since I’m a single widow they’d take advantage of me. They wanted over $5000. I canceled because that’s crazy ridiculous. Three weeks later, I still don’t have my deposit back ($1100) and they keep saying they’re going to escalate it. We recently received a debt collection notice for a service that was not provided. We attempted to contact your customer service, but were placed on long holds with no assistance.<br><br>Your team previously acknowledged that the service was not completed, as your technician was unavailable and your manager was unable to get a hold of them on several occasions, we had to place security cameras to confirm no one came to property and yet you sent us a bill. As a result, we canceled the service, and your billing department assured us that we could disregard the invoices. Despite this, our information has now been sent to a debt collector.<br><br>This is extremely concerning and unacceptable. We trusted your company, and it is disappointing to face such an issue. Technician was polite, checked my attics and sprayed the outside beds and around the house. He informed me that Terminex handles attic insulation and I plan to get estimates in 2026 for this overdue necessity. I still have a lot of fire ants in the yard and need the technician to return so that my grandchildren will be safe as they play in my yard.

BUYER BEWARE!!!<br><br>Buyer BEWARE! This is hands-down the worst company I have ever dealt with. Their so-called "customer service" is absolutely nonexistent—zero service after the sale.<br>Brian W. personally came to my home, sat in my kitchen, and sold my wife and me a $12,000 policy for an exclusion to address an issue we’ve been dealing with. He swore up and down that we’d have full support, that their team would be there whenever we needed them. Lies.<br>Yes, they came out and did the initial exclusion, but guess what? The problem persists. And for three weeks now, we’ve been getting the runaround.<br>For three Saturdays in a row, they scheduled appointments to come back and gave us time windows from 8 AM to 12 PM. We sat at home, wasted our time, and nobody showed up. Not once.<br>Calling for help? Forget it. The number they give you goes to a call center that does nothing. When you ask for a manager or a supervisor, they hand you the branch number—only for it to be redirected back to the same useless call center.<br>DO NOT USE THIS COMPANY. Run like hell. They will take your money, disappear, and leave you stranded. Absolutely disgusting.<br><br>BUYER BEWARE!!!

I really appreciate our technician, Daniel Lucas. He's great at keeping me informed, and addresses any questions or concerns I might have. I've had many technicians throughout my years with Terminix, and Daniel is the best!

Our quarterly service was performed today by Russell Hamilton. As always, he did a phenomenal job with the service. He also communicated his findings and what steps he took to remedy our issues. We have a great appreciation for his expertise, diligence and professionalism.

Terminix provides great service. Not only that they got rid of my termites infestation, they also keep up to date for annual inspection to ensure the termites did not come back. Highly recommended Terminix to anyone. I am so glad that I get to have peace of mind knowing that my home is well taken care of.

I will NEVER use Terminix again. Please be aware that their salesmen will say whatever it takes to get you to sign a contract with them. The guy Brian , that came out to our house told me that if I signed the payment agreement with them, he would make sure that my interest rate was lowered. . I was initially put off by the high interest rate, and he assured me not to worry because of my high credit score he would be able to lower it for me as soon as it processed. When I reached back out to him about lowering my interest rate he never responded back. I called and spoke with Customer Service over 10 separate times. Each time they guarantee me I would receive a callback from the branch manager. Did anyone bother to give me a call back? No. Not once! I even have proof via text message that he promised to reduce my interest rate. This has cost me an additional $1200 and they don’t even give me the courtesy of calling me back. I was told on two separate occasions, once by a service tech, and another by one of the Customer Service agents, that their sales people often lie to get you to sign the contract. I am disgusted and extremely upset. I spent a lot of money with this company and to not even get the courtesy of a callback is not only extremely disrespectful, but unbelievably unprofessional. I’ve asked for corporate contact information from Customer Service and the first time was given an incorrect address. The second time the address they gave me did not work. The emails just kept bouncing back to me. I reached out to an attorney, but unfortunately due to the mediation clause that you have to sign with the contract the attorney told me it would cost more to file and go through the process then I would be getting back. This is a friendly warning. Be very wary. Shop around find a better service and a more reliable honest company.

Christian Roper from Terminix always does a fantastic job. He’s been our regular technician for over a year and always gives us plenty of notice before coming to our quarterly visits and is flexible when we need to reschedule. Whenever we have questions or concerns about our service he’s knowledgeable and helps us understand how to fix our pest issues. We have been very satisfied with his professionalism.

Do not recommend.<br>I hired Terminix to do an exclusion on the house (May 2024) and it has been some of the worst service I've received from any organization. The initial work was done poorly as was their follow-ups. It was so bad I had another company out to bid on different work, and they easily found where Terminix missed very obvious work. When I explained the concerns back to Terminix, the response was an acknowledgement they made significant errors which just made my problem worse.<br>I am carrying the entire mental load reminding them about appointments they were supposed to make, outstanding work which still needs to be done, and following up on their activities. It is almost 5 months after the initial contract/exclusion work, and it still isn't complete. Their contract wasn't cheap and sold as "this is our area of expertise so its worth a little more" - but just not seeing that play out. Find a different company.<br>Update: I've sent the requested information to the response to this review and have not heard back.

Terminix and in particular, John Harris have been servicing my residence(s) for years. The service has always been excellent and I've never once had an issue or complaint. John is super personal and beyond his work duties, takes the time to keep up on whats happening in my families world and just catching up in general. I always enjoy our conversations and look forward to the quarterly appointments.

My initial service went very well. The techs inspected and treated inside and outside of our home. All the employees that visited our home where thorough and eager to answer all our questions. I am getting more and better service for the same price as I was paying to White Knight Pest Control. Wished I started w/ Terminix sooner.
