We called Power Vac after discovering the back of our registers were covered in mold. Matt and crew replaced our vents and did a full clean of the system, including the source of the mold, our AC plenum. He also explained why mold was more prevalent in certain rooms within our house, which was really helpful information as we try and prevent mold growth in the future. One small detail that I especially appreciated was that the plastic vents were replaced with metal vents, in part because plastic vents yellow over time. When I looked at my original vents, sure enough, despite having a nonsmoking home, they looked yellow! I appreciate all the work Matt and team did and how clean they left my home.

Matt and Josh told me in detail what they would be doing to clean our ducts. I was concerned that it might mess the house up and they assured me that their goal is to leave so that I never knew they were there. They did exactly that. On the day of service, Matt and Josh got to our house right on time and were extremely accommodating to our needs as a family with a small baby. Power Vac America cleaned out all my vents and did a wonderful job. I had never had this service done before so was unaware of the process. They came and thoroughly explained and cleaned out all my ac vents and applied ac unit protectant sealer in my attic ac unit to prevent molding. Mike Elles and Josh (?) came to my house on March 24 to clean my air ducts and vents. They arrived on time and were very personable and went right to work. My house had just completed repairs from the Big Texas Freeze and pipes burst with water in the house. There was dust and I was concerned about mold forming. They explained their process along the way. Only pre mold was found on one vent. All the vent covers were replaced. I was very pleased with the work and was very pleased and comfortable with bot gentlemen in my house.

They told us what was happening and what they saw all along the way. Where there was mold and where there was nothing but dust and what they did. I felt perfectly comfortable with their professionalism, and how well they did, how they vacuumed afterwards. Now we'll see if I can reduce my kleenex consumption. Really enjoyed watching all the equipment and flexible tubes! Quite a nifty show. Highly recommend.

Mike and his associate arrived on time ready to start the cleaning. He explained what they were going to do at each duct and the A/C system. They replaced all the standard vent covers, cleaned the ducts throughout the house and also, the dryer vent ductwork. A thorough job.<br>They were also worked very quickly throughout. He also checked for any evidences of mold and mildew. None.<br>Both fellows were very courteous and professional and careful about masking and distancing when in the house. I definitely recommend.

Recently purchased an older home near the beach and I doubt the ducts had ever been cleaned. Power Vac arrived on time and did a great job explaining the process. The prior owners had caulked around the ceiling registers after spray-texturing the ceiling (??). Matt was able to remove, clean and replace them without any damage along with the return grille. He showed me before and after pictures of the ducts and the clean up was so thorough you couldn't tell they had been there. Great service that lasts for 5 years+ and highly recommended.

I find it rare to run across a team of professionals who truly take pride in what they are offering to the public. They sell a specific service, and they do that service with excellence. Mike and Matt came out to analyze what we needed, they came out to do the work, and we had an issue that forced them to pack back up and do it another day. They were beyond accommodating and helped us think through what we needed to do with another vendor for something else for us to get the most out what Power Vac was providing.<br><br>When they came back out the second (really third) time, it was obvious to them that the vendor with whom I was working that forced us to reschedule hadn't done the job appropriately. Instead of just pushing through and doing their job anyway, they pulled me aside and showed me that it was (clearly) done wrong. I first told them that I would have to reschedule again. Once again, they were very understanding and professional. It really came across as no big deal to them. They accommodated with class.<br><br>But then once they had left, we decided that we wanted to do it anyway and fix things with the other vendor later. I called them and asked them to turn around and come back. With a smile, they immediately turned around and returned to the house. They then suggested something they could do to help mitigate the problem. It made a ton of sense, so that's what we did. They worked their tails off for most of the day and did excellent work. After they were done, they sat and talked to us about what they found. They then emailed us before and after pictures of all their work.<br><br>I can't recommend these guys forcefully enough! If you need to get your HVAC cleaned, this is the company you want doing it, particularly if they send people even half as capable as Mike and Matt.

A sign of great customer service is when they will give you honest information. Kenny and Mike came for a Duct Cleaning. They found my issue was actually with the vents themselves and not my ducts. They even told me how to fix it. They charged me nothing for their advice and time. I wish there were more reputable and honest contractors like this.

Don't waste your time researching other companies that are way overpriced or super cheap. These guys are the real deal and do a great job explaining their work.
