This company was referred to us via Nextdoor and they didn’t disappoint. From the initial visit with Gustavo who provided us with an explanation of the process, material to be used, and the proposed estimate (we did a full attic insulation) to the day of the installation. It all went smoothly, they were right on time, very respectful and professional. We are very happy with the experience.

So, it’s like this… I was SO tired of only hot water at the kitchen sink. Before yesterday, the A/C came on at dawn and didn't shut off all day. Now, it’s off and I can’t recall when it ran last! The crew was wonderful. The attic looks great. They also found and repaired a flex hose to an A/C vent that was split like ripe fruit. They cleaned up inside and out and gone by 3:00 the same day. Tell all of your friends!

The estimation was accurate and the price was not exceeded. Everything was made clear as to what was being estimated and how the job would be taken care of. The installation crew did a great job of installing all of the insulation. The project was completed ahead of schedule.

Hired these folks to install some cellulose insulation because our house was unreasonably hot in the summer. We were promised the days of the AC running 23 hours and the house still getting above 80 degrees were over. It’s been nearly a year since the work was completed, and things have not improved at all. We spent $2500 on the work. And now we are spending significantly more to have that insulation removed and our attic redone. Very disappointed in the lack of either experience or expertise and, of course, in the outcome. Can’t recommend this company.

Easy to schedule, started when they said they would be here finished early and met up to their name. I’m very happy to choose this woman own business for our insulation needs. They came in clean, Protected Everything with poly, and left the our home cleaner.

Gustavo and the entire team were right on time and finished early! I have to say the entire process could not have been simpler. Just a quick pre-installation inspection, and we were ready to insulate my garage. It's already cooler than it has been, and now I just have to decide whether to install an exhaust fan or just go for a mini-split. I think the exhaust fan would be better since the garage door doesn't offer a seal against air. In any case, my garage and attic are now cooler and more energy efficient thanks to the great work of the team at Payless! My highest recommendation!

I highly recommend Payless insulation. From start to finish everything was explained and pointed out prior to starting. Jonathan was the team leader with two other very respectfulgentlemen. Taping the area with plastic to make sure that things were covered was amazing. The job didn’t take very long minimal sound in they cleaned up When the job was done. The transaction of payment was effortlessly.

Update a second job today with equally impressive service, attention to detail and courtesy. Courteous and knowledgeable technicians and a great company product. The difference made me realize that I didn't need a new a/c system after all.

I was searching for someone to put some insulation into my attic. I called around to get different quotes, but when I called Payless, their customer service was exceptional. I Couldn’t remember the lady who I talk to on the phone but she was very helpful. Very nice. She sent out a representative to come and give me an estimate which was Giovanni Giovanni was very thorough with everything, answered every question that I had and was very personable. Giovanni told me he was going to have someone to call me back to schedule a time to come out. The scheduler called me the very next day and schedule a time. Before the techs came out to install the installation they called me before they arrived and quoted me 7 o’clock and they were there promptly and ready to work. They did an amazing job and I would recommend them to anyone

Payless did a great job on my property. Efficient and for a good price. There was also a driveway issue that was resolved by them in an expedient manner. Can't speak enough of their professionalism. Would recommend to anyone looking to insulate their home.

Payless Insulation was wonderful! All of the guys were professional and kind. Neil, who came to give our quote, was knowledgeable and friendly and the guys who came to do the work were also super nice. They came on time, did a very thorough job and cleaned up after themselves well. Due to our house remodel, it's a challenge to get to places in our attic; Neil thought they might need to cut a hole in one of our closets to gain access to a certain area but when the guys came they actually found a way to access that area without making a mess in my closet. I so appreciate that, so thoughtful! What drew me to the company was the fact that they use natural cellulose instead of the nasty fiberglass insulation; SO much better for the planet and our personal space. I am so glad to have found this company and would recommend them highly. Thank you Payless!!!!

Installation was scheduled quickly and the workers were very good as well. They cleaned up very well and helped me move my boxes back into the attic. They finished quickly too. I was impressed. From quotation process to installation of insulation was top notch. Had a reasonably price quote. My house is an older style 1.5-2 story home with very limited crawl space. I was concerned that they would not do a good job when applying insulation to certain rooms due to limited access and heat. However the crew that worked on my house did an outstanding job and made sure they were able to reach every area needed. My rooms up stair would never be able to cool below 82 degrees prior can now go to desire temperature even with 100 degree weather. I would highly recommend using payless insulation if you have an older home which requires much more work such as applying insulations on the exterior walls and knee walls.

Very friendly and easy to work with. I only spoke with them by phone but was able to get a quick quote and have the job done within a few days all while I was on vacation. My customer was pleased as was I. I am a contractor and will be using them again!

This company blew 10"-12" of cellulose insulation on top of the original insulation in our 11 year old home. The original insulation had settled exposing the very top of the trusts in certain areas. The over-all process from receiving an estimate for the work and installation was flawless and a much better experience than what I expected. The company was professional, very informational, easy to work with, and always on time for any appointments. There work was also very clean! I would recommend for anyone to consider Payless Insulation, I truly believe you won't be disappointed!!!

Payless installed spray cellulose insulation in our attic a couple weeks ago. Since then, the AC has run an average of five hours less per day, which exceeded our expectations. Highly recommend!

This is a great company and the owner should be very proud of the staff she or he has. First, Susana was incredibly helpful. I talked to her a couple of times before we decided to place the order because I was not very familiar with insulation. She took the time to explain to me the service, the differences in insulation and the required amount. She provides amazing customer service! Now, the best part is that the two guys, Fernando and Jonathan, are the most attentive and hard working men I have ever met. They were both so nice and respectful. The minute they entered my house, they explained everything step by step. Jonathan was very careful with my carpet and made sure everything was covered. Fernando is amazing! He took the time explaining the services they offer and everything insulation related. It didn’t matter what I asked, he knew the answers! Payless Insulation, you have two great employees here! Fernando and Jonathan arrived at our home at exactly the time scheduled and were extremely careful with our home and the floors. They took time to explain the process and and did the job in a very professional manner. Wow, my wife and I were very pleased especially with the application of the fire retardant insulation that was installed.

I had Payless come out add >12” of insulation in our attic to reduce humidity in the home. Initially i asked if they did insulation under the floor and they said they didn’t but that attic insulation would solve the humidity. They did a great job, we’re very attentive. Their customer service is utterly unparalleled. They cleaned everything up and when they left if was as if they’d never stepped good in the house. Arguably left it cleaner than it was when they arrived. That being said, it didn’t reduce the humidity at all, unfortunately. I don’t blame them, I just think it’s an an old house (1929). Anyway, they were great.

Susana I wanted to let you know how much I appreciated the service you and your company provided for the insulation of my attic. Having had a great experience with Payless previously insulating my attic in 2010 and needing it reinsulated after rebuilding from the Harvey flood, I knew I wanted your firm for the job. I was not disappointed. Your proposal was timely as was the installation scheduling. During the initial installation on 8/6 one hitch was encountered, through no fault of you or the installation crew, but due to one return air and one register frames not being attached to the HVAC duct work, resulting in your crew having to stop the installation. However, I am grateful for your crew leader, Campos, discovering these two problems and calling them to my attention. And I was pleasantly surprised to not be charged for the extra trip made to return today to resume the installation! I was extremely impressed with your crew leader, Campos. He was very helpful, friendly, and courteous. In addition, I was very grateful for his professionalism and knowledgeable explanation of the duct problem, so much so, that I waited for a date to resume the installation until he and his crew were available. The duct work was repaired within three hours after Campos and his crew left on the morning of the initial installation, but I had to wait a week before he and his crew could resume. The wait was well worth it! When Campos and his crew came back today, he reviewed the specifications of the job with me before starting the work. When I explained my brother, Steve, wrote the specs and asked if I could call and let him talk with Steve, he immediately agreed. I called Steve and all points of the job were clarified. After completing the job, Campos again reviewed the work performed and advised if any problems were encountered in the future to give Payless a call and they would take care of it. It is a joy to interact with service technicians such as Campos which are too few and far between these days. I do not normally post reviews (good or bad) online, but I am going to break this cardinal rule as I was so impressed with Campos and his crew and post a review for this work. Got insulation added last month. It made a tremendous difference in inside temps! No longer sweating during the day and HVAC no longer struggling. The installation crew was was professional and got the job done in a couple of hrs or less, and took care not to damage drywall etc.

We needed insulation added to the attic of our condo. Payless provided great service and from my first inquiry email to the payment, it only took 3 weeks. They worked around our schedule and made it easy. The insulation team was professional and CLEAN! I would definitely recommend Payless to friends and family!

I rarely write reviews, but I really want to give some praise to Payless. We had soundproofing insulation blown into the walls and ceiling around our media room. They meticulously covered floors, the stairs and our AV equipment. Their blower likely needs to be connected directly to your breaker panel because it requires 40 Amps. In the process of connecting to our panel, one of our breakers was damaged. It was minor to moderate damage, mostly cosmetic. But on his lunch break their worker went to Home Depo and replaced my breaker without me even having to ask. These guys acted entirely professional and their prices were perfectly in line with what we got. I highly recommend them.

Five stars for Payless Insulation! The most professional, experienced and delightful group of people to weatherize my home! If you are searching for an insulation company to weatherize your home you can stop searching! The administrative staff, inspector and technicians explained everything to me in layman's terms, protected my property, worked diligently, and they followed up after they completed the job. So, now that my home has passed the "Blower Door Test" my home is cooler without having to run my AC and I love my new Solar Screens!

I have known about Payless Insulation for many years. We were finally at the point where we needed to get our insulation done. We had them come out to bid, as well as 2 other companies. By far, they were the most professional and they had a very competitive price. The day of the job, they went out of their way to make certain that everything that might have been affected by the insulation job was well covered. They did a great job insulating the attic. My house is much cooler now, and according to my NEST thermostat, the AC is working about 60% less than it had during previous weeks. Great financial benefit, low cost, and stellar service! What more can you ask for?

Best birthday present ever! Adding insulation was $1500 and paid for itself so quickly (less than a year) in reduced heating and A/C, and a more comfortable house all-around. I highly recommend Payless.

Payless Insulation did a fabulous job in our house. They solved all our insulation problems in 1 firm swoop. Our attics were in dire need of attention: we needed the old insulation removed, attics cleaned, disinfected 🙄 and after all that, new insulation installed. All this went off without a hitch and you wouldn't even know that a TON of fluffy dusty insulation was moved into the house today. It's amazing... I looked in the attics and these guys do not skimp on material! There is a a whole lot of stuff... a lot, a whole lot... everywhere in the attics. Then the clean up, not unimportant, was full on as well. All in all a stellar job! Our thanks to the whole team.

Yet another 5 star review! Payless came to our 30+ year old house and sucked out all of the existing, nasty attic insulation plus lots of other trash during one long full day - it's a big house. The guys were fabulous - worked hard, conscientiously and cleanly. During installation of the fresh insulation their attention to detail was perfect. All difficult areas such as exposed lamp units in the attic were dammed off to prevent direct contact with the cellulose material. After another full day they cleaned up everything - left a perfect job with a "new house" appearance. We could not have chosen better!

Payless insulated our building in 1998 and it works as well and looks as good as the first day it was installed. The insulation is exposed to viewing by our clients and over the years it is the one area that we have never had to upgrade or touch up.

Payless Insulation did a fantastic, professional and cost effective job insulating my 90 year old Heights cottage home. The estimator came out within a few hours of my call for an estimate....she took the time to review the property inside and out....and then made the perfect recommendation. I had two other insulation companies either not return phone calls or tell me it could not be done. Payless Insulation installed Celbar spray insulation to the crawl space. The crew were professional and did this very difficult, tight space work. They even gave me a report of the condition of my crawl space. My home is quieter, the floors no longer creak and shift with the weather and my home is stay comfortable thru the daily ups and downs of Houston temps.
