I had an issue with potential mold in my house. I called them for inspection and removal. Mundae told me that, by law, if a company does the inspection it cannot do the removal. They would provide me with the test and a protocol that I could give to another company on how to do the cleaning.<br>I accepted and they did the inspection. They gave me the results of the inspection but no protocol for cleaning. They now want to charge me extra for the protocol. That was not disclaimmed in our initial conversation. Talking to Mundae, they clarified the miscommunication and will provide the protocol at no charge. Thank you for putting the client first and helping resolving the issue!

Last Friday I had HVAC full service & Dryer vent deep cleaning service. I was told that the crew would arrive between 8:00-10:00. I got a call at 8:35 to let me know that they were on the way. The work started as soon as the two crews (Mr. Jaime & Mr. Miguel) got here. The work was done professionally and thoroughly. They gave every process 100%. They were polite and friendly. They cleaned up after they were done. The person I was in contact with, Mr. Ron, is patient and quick in replying to my email, and answering all my questions. The communication is there. I’m very impressed with the services. Their pricing is affordable and more reasonable than other companies that I searched for. I highly recommend this company.

Worst experience ever. 2nd time trying to use this company for an inspection of a dwelling. Be careful, they want to charge you for a visual inspection and not even complete any mold sample testing. Had to beg this company to to test my entire home, begged to take my money, and they refused to service. After telling them the poor experience had with them prior year on a project. Shame on me for going back. Tell the staff to stop taking the reviews for this company, because it's straight cramp...

We have a rental unit that has a hidden leak that caused serious mold problem. Unfortunately it leaked into a front closet that seldom access by anyone. Once we opened up the ceiling and walls we realized it was very serious. I found 3 companies online. All have great reviews. One company was late to give me a quote, the other company just send an inspector but asked me to deal with the office directly. Then, I met Mario from Mundae, he answered all my questions, told me how the insurance claim process works and he will be my direct contact.<br>The remediation started as scheduled. Luis was the crews' head. He was really nice and kept their voice down as I have informed them the tenants work night shift. Mold report came back all cleared.<br>Initially Mario told me they don't do rebuild but later agreed to do that. I guess they hire other contractor to do that part. As for this rebuild contractor, He is nice but I am skeptical about his crews' workmanship. Mario told me his company will be behind this which put my mind at ease. He even helped steam cleaned the carpet.<br>Overall, I strongly recommend Mundae to anyone.

We had a water damage in our master bedroom, we woke up today to a little pool. I have got the referral for this company from a good friend of my and they come out today and quickly started to work on it. They got the situation under control.

Before I chose the company to clean the air ducts, I called more than 5 companies to get a quote and asked how they would remove black mold. The Mundae representative was very professional and explained to me the detailed work procedure for mold removal and air duct cleaning.<br>I chose Mundae because I knew they could be trusted with this job. When I made an appointment for the work, they gave me the time window from 8 a.m. to 11 a.m. then called me at 8:30 a.m. to inform me they will arrive at 9 a.m.. At 9 a.m., Jason and 4 others arrived and started working. I stayed in the house while they were here and I could see how hard they worked. They cleaned every single air vent cover with antifungal detergent. They also cleaned the heavily contaminated insulation until there was no trace of the mold left. They even removed yellow mold residue on the walls although we were not sure if it was real mold at first. Jason tested and confirmed that it was mold and completely removed the mold residue from the wall. They worked for 7 hours straight and completed all the requested work perfectly. I am so satisfied with Jason and his team's work and I strongly recommend their service.

Mold testing went fairly well. The technician had decent knowledge of potential issues and humidity and he was able to find the hidden source of mold in the duct chases in my walls. (We had no visible signs but were feeling the effects.) I downgraded to 3 stars because there were no remediation services offered, even after I followed up and asked for an estimate for remediation or restoration services. Their website specifically offers remediation and restoration services. I selected a mold and restoration company because I wanted one company to own it from beginning to end and not just testing. Now I am concerned that another company may want to repeat the $700 in testing to verify before offering remediation and restoration services. I left a second message that I was moving on, not going to beg them to take my money. Meanwhile, we are still experiencing asthma and headaches for the past two weeks since testing.<br><br>Update: After this review was posted, the technician reached out to me to advise that it is against Texas law for the same contractor to do both testing AND remediation. I have confirmed this to be true. I have decided that I am not going to change my 3/5 stars for three reasons: 1. There website claims that "Execution of the entire Mold through Remediation!" and "One Two Three! Cleaning and Remediation of Mold are just this Simple, Now!" which are misleading statements. 2. I was never advised anything to the contrary-that they could not perform the remediation. They should have mentioned this as part of the process. 3. There was no recommendations to address the mold. It was literally "here is the report and what was found" and that was the end of the discussion.

Our service professional was on time to the appointment and once he saw the issue in person was able to recommend a different, less expensive and less intrusive treatment. I recently used Mundae's services for mold remediation and air duct cleaning in my apartment, and I cannot recommend them enough! They were super responsive, and I appreciate how upfront they were in how much the service would cost (as opposed to other places that gave a vague price range). They did an appropriate job of removing the mold from my A/C unit, the condenser coil, air ducts and air vents. I would recommend them and use them again if need be.

Albert from Mundae Cleaning & Restoration Services showed up to perform a mold inspection - Albert was thorough, walked around the house checking with a thermal imaging camera, along with doing a visual inspection to point out areas with visible damage. Had called Mundae for a duct mold inspection for an eventual duct cleaning.<br>On the day of the appointment, a lady and 2 workers showed up (on time) with all the equipment ready to go. That was my first surprise. I only had asked for an inspection to get a quote.<br>I asked about how the cleaning would be done; the explanation was a little evasive, but I figured it would be ok. They were going to clean and fog the ducts to sanitize/protect them; cleaning included the ducts by accessing them from the plenum in the attic and from each register in the house (10). Sounded good. Price was $999 for servicing 1 AC unit (downstairs unit)<br>Well, for that price they did not even use a HEPA vacuum (they just use a commercial ShopVac with a brush attached to it; As i was watching them vacuuming the ducts in the attic(in the plenum), 1/2 of that dust went straight into the attic!!); Fogging is a 20-30 second fogging in the plenum and both air intakes (was told it was a very strong chemical; that's why it is so short...but their workers were not using any mask until they were told to; guess it is not as strong as they make you believe it is); they clean/desinfect each of the register grills and they clean/desinfect around the registers.<br>It sure all smells good; but in the end it was a very basic. overpriced cleaning; sure did not justify a $999 price tag for 1 unit!!<br>LESSON : ASK FOR DETAILS ON WHAT AND HOW THEY DO THE CLEANING BEFORE AGREEING TO HAVE ANY DUCTS CLEANED and GET MULTIPLE QUOTES... and don't be intimidated or in a rush if they show up ready to work when you only asked for a quote. It is Your $$$. I was in a hurry and that was my mistake.

I’m very happy with the quality of work of my duct cleaning. The air quality in my home went from zero to hero! It smells fresh and I can rest assured that the duct cleaning was performed at a high standard. Mario and his team met and exceeded my expectations. So glad I hired this company. We had a long term dishwasher leak that we were unaware of. When we replaced the dishwasher we found mold. As it was the black mold we decided to have the mold professionally remediated. Mario from Mundae was willing to come to our home to evaluate the situation despite the pandemic. Other companies wanted us to send pictures. Mario was professional and courteous. He quoted us a fair price for the service and was able to put us on the schedule quickly. In addition they were able to save our countertop by cutting out part of the base and back of the cabinets which allowed us to repair the cabinets and drywall rather than having to replace the cabinets as well as keeping our now discontinued silestone. I would use the company again and wouldn’t hesitate to recommend them to others.

They used the best equipment and followed the guidelines set out by the mold inspector. All three remediation areas successfully passed inspection. Mundae's team, especially Mario, has been professional, fair, level-headed, and thorough from start to finish. Absolutely terrible service before we could even hire them! I made a 7:30 appointment for today and I told the representative that they would need to come on time but no later than 8:00 AM because I have work. At 7:55 AM I call the company Because no one showed up and the phone representative acted like they had no idea what Was going on. Then I get a call at 8:45 AM saying they’re on their way. What a freaking joke of a company. Do not even bother calling them if you actually want a company who’s going to show up on time like they promise.

We had an issue with our HVAC system which caused a mild infestation. Mario and his team showed up on time and completed the work within the timeframe they promised. He was very nice and considerate while at our house. I would recommend.

Mundae was amazing! We just bought a new sofa from Restoration Hardware and a friends cat urinated on it. I called them crying and they sent someone over right away. The smell of cat urine is so hard to get out, I did not have high hopes. They were here cleaning for about 15 mins and the sofa is like new! The smell is completely gone and I am SO thankful! Highly recommend!

I Had a water pipe burst in my home the guys came extracted the water, removed what was wet, sanitized my home and set up some big machines to dry it up. They did a great job.

I had Mario come out to provide an estimate for mold remediation in 1 bedroom, after getting 2 additional estimates I booked with Mundae cause of their great reviews and the pricing being lower than his competitors. Mario was able to fit me in his schedule the next day and completed the project when he promised.

I had a company come clean my ducts and they encountered some mold so they could t clean them cause of the mold. I called around few companies to ask questions after doing some research and did not feel comfortable how they answered my questions. I finally found the right company, I'm glad I took my time they were very professional, on time and very knowledgeable. The mold is gone and I finally can breath good air quality now. Thank you Mundae.

I cannot give any star here because we had the worst experience with Mundae. Long story short, Mundae screwed us.<br>They came out to to inspect the mold situation at the ceiling. Gave us a quote... pricey.... but we trusted them. They told all we need is to clean the coil and duct, and the problem will be fixed. We took them as "trusted" advisor and have them did the job. 5 days later, our AC broke down, and come to find that there was a leak somewhere near the coil.... the parts they worked on. What a coincident right.... We called Mario, the trusted advisor that gave us the assessment and estimate, and the first thing he said to us is that there is no leak when they left. Problem is, he was not even here when the job was done, and I am amazed that he actually remember us 5 days after the job was completed. My gut is telling me he's just following his instinct to not assume liability regardless, but saying no leak, no problem, without even trying to understand what our situation is. Fine.... we moved on and have the AC replaced at our own cost. 2 months later now.... mold is back. Mundae do provide 2 year warranty (I believe), but we also decide to get a second opinion. We reached out to someone via thu$bta$k. The assessment we got is that.... we need to add ventilation system to the attic in order to stop this mold situation altogether. Nice..... of course I do not know this, but I appreciate the information provided to us... and it make sense. Apparently, Mundae only clean 2 of the 6 parts that handle air circulation. Mundae is not even aware that our problem is due to lack of air circulation. What good would it do with you only clean 2 out of 7 component that circulate air. It is not rocket science to know how mold grow, but Mundae did not bring any of that up. Now we have to contract a company to clean all 6 parts of the system, and add a fan to the roof. We ask them to break out the cost by component so that we can try to have Mundae come out to do the part that is covered under their warranty. What surprises me even more that Mundae charged more than twice than the other company quoted. At this point, we are done with Mundae since I cannot afford for them to come out and screw up another AC. And frankly, we do not trust them anymore since it is apparently they do not know about mold.<br>Just want to share this so that less people got screwed. Hope this is helpful.

Excellent service. I had water damage that eventually caused mold. They packaged my entire home and remediated the water damage. They thoroughly cleaned house from top to bottom. They were reasonable with price as well. Mario was very hands on and his team did an awesome job.

Mario and his team explained our options and gave us a price before he started on our wall to wall carpet and wool, oriental area rug. They were so professional and gave us a courtesy call to let us know before they came over and were on time. They came out and took photos of my a c and ducts and we agreed to cleaning the ducts and mold removal and antibacterial spraying the register boxes. They were very neat, covered the furniture that could be affected. I couldn’t have asked for more.

Not a very good experience. Caution, they sell you more 'products' than the original agreement and pack up quickly. Not sure what you are getting for what you pay.<br><br>After flooding, it's hard to think straight and deal with these people appropriately. They will hit you when you are too vulnerable.

I was very pleased by the work done by Mundae Mold Experts. I hired them to remediate a bathtub with heavy mold infestation and to also clean the kitchen and dining area (where slightly elevated mold counts had been found). Their licensed remediator - Mario - initially provided a quote based on a mold inspection report. Later, he agreed to come out to do an in-person inspection to make sure the quote was appropriate for the job at hand. Not only did he stick to the original quote, he offered to expand it (to include all rooms in the house) for a small additional fee.<br><br>Mario and his team began the remediation within a couple days of my accepting their bid, and were finished with the job within 48 hours. One pleasant surprise was how careful they were with the 50s tile in the bathroom - almost all the pieces remained in excellent shape and will be able to be re-used. Throughout the process, he was available to take my calls and provide status updates. I had a mold inspector (Wendy from Cadmus Environmental - please also see my review for her, as she was excellent) perform the post-remediation testing, and she was very pleased with the job done by Mario. Not surprisingly, her results showed that their remediation was a full success. Afterwards, Mario and his team cleaned up thoroughly and quickly.<br><br>I highly recommend Mario and Mundae. They completed the job at hand at a very reasonable price yet showed the kind of care with my bath tiles that you would expect from a business that charges top dollar. It is rare that any vendor exceeds my expectations but Mundae did in this case. Hopefully, this will be the last time they have to remediate mold for me, but I already plan to use them to clean my air vents.

BUYER BEWARE!!! I purchased a home air duct cleaning on Angie's list by this company. It was supposed to include duct cleaning and sanitizing for the whole house. When the technician showed up he walked around the house for a few minutes and told me I needed an additional $850 worth of cleaning done and that he couldn't start the job until I agreed to pay the upcharge.<br><br>Here's the kicker! Part of the cost was to clean the AC coils. What he didn't know was I just had it cleaned a week ago by a contractor I use regularly. Additionally he said I had mold and mildew. Guess what, I own a commercial grade ozone generator; these units destroy ALL mold, mildew, bacteria and more. I had been using it in the home to remove dog smell for the last two weeks.<br><br>All I needed was the ducting dusted and blown out but they couldn't resist trying to up-sale. 🔔🔔SHAME! 🔔🔔SHAME!

After reading some of the reviews and searching the company's history, we decided to hire mundae in order to get rid of the mold. We called mundae and they were able to come out the next day. The crew was very professional and knowledgeable. They completed the work within two days and they did an excellent job. Had a great experience with the ! DJ and Elias were on time, professional, quick and efficient. I only got the general cleaning which was fast and good for my purposes but they have many additional services too and will consider getting deep cleaning soon.

This company came out and cleaned my carpets. When it became obvious a few hours after they left and the carpet had dried that a wine stain had not been completely removed, they cheerfully returned the next day at no charge and removed it with a second intense application. This is the kind of customer service so often lacking in America; this is the kind of customer service that will make me a lifelong customer.

They did everything they could to make this the best experience we could have. One of the few companies I've seen that went the extra mile for its customers, the technicians were great and very respectful of our home. I will use them again and would recommend them to anyone needing their carpet cleaned or any of the other services that they offer.

The cleaning team hasn't even arrived and I'm already regretting making this appointment. I was originally told my appointment was on a Monday. I adjusted my plans accordingly, but when they hadn't arrived by the time I was told they would and I called they said the original appointment was actually on Tuesday. This could have been an error on my part, but I don't think it was. Then, I was told the appointment was from 8-11a. Apparently what they meant was the arrival time was between 8 and 11, and of course my arrival time was to be nearer to 11 when I called. Seriously? I have better things to do than wait for 3 hours for the arrival and THEN have to add the time for the actual carpet cleaning. Regardless the quality of the job they do, I'm so frustrated from the hassle of getting them scheduled and to my house and the rearranging of my schedule to accommodate them I can guarantee I'll never use them again, as well as recommend others to steer clear.<br><br>UPDATE:<br>Upon completion of the job, I am upgrading my review. The actual carpet cleaners were very courteous and did well, though the high traffic areas looked badly and I was told there was nothing that could be done to fix that. They did the job very quickly, but then again I didn't have any real stains, just normal wear and tear. Teflon protection was (supposedly) added as well for free to offset the initial frustration I experienced. The pricing with my Groupon was better than I would have gotten elsewhere. They also offer a discount in exchange for you posting a review telling others of your satisfaction with their service. I will consider giving them another try, and won't discourage others from taking a chance with Mundae.

I called Mundae and setup an appointment to come out. When they got here my wife changed the area in which she wanted to get cleaned. The tech told me that it would be extra because it needed treatment and it was an oversized room. I wasn't prepared to pay extra and was aboit to cancel the service. The tech called the office and explained the situation. They immediately told the tech to work with me and he did. It was a very pleasant experience.

Horrible experience...I booked a carpet cleaning through Groupon for 11AM, on 2-24-2014 (several hour window). The cleaning crew showed up around 12PM after calling at 1130 advising that they were on the way. Upon arrival, I advised the employee that appeared to be heading up the cleaning, identified as Noam, that the cleaning was scheduled for no later than 11AM. Noam advised that it was "irrelevant" that he was late and further asked, "Do you want the cleaning or not?" I could not believe that someone would stand there and talk to me that way in my own home. I attempted to contact the company and speak with a supervisor at that location. I was advised that the supervisor was not available. I then left my contact information, a brief description of what took place, and my telephone number with the call taker. I never heard back from the company. This company, Mundae Cleaning & Restoration Services, is very unprofessional and I will NEVER use their services or recommend their services to anyone. Steer clear....<br>***UPDATE***<br>Since this review, I was contacted by a representative of Mundae Cleaning (Albert) who apologized for the conduct of the cleaning technician. Albert assured me that this was an isolated problem with the cleaning technician who was no longer employed with Mundae Cleaning Services. Albert further advised that a lack of customer service from the cleaning technicians would not happen again. Albert handled the problem with professionalism and further offered to clean my carpets again free of charge. The second service call was much more professional and issue free. Thank you Mundae for addressing this matter. In the future, I hope that management can resolve concerns from its customers sooner than four months.

I called about an air-flow problem to the second floor of my home. I got great advice over the phone. A week later, I called again after seeing how gross the inside of my vents looked. The Mundae air duct cleaning crew came out two days later and on time! Three hours later, my ducts looked almost like new and air was finally flowing well to the bedrooms. My neighbor came over during their visit and three days later I saw the Mundae truck in her driveway. I went over to visit and they thanked me for the referral. I highly recommend using Mundae services.

The crew came in the time window as planned. Explained my options and upgrades well (an up charge from my coupon price). Everyone was very friendly and did a good job. A bit disappointed that not all stains removed when I paid for the upgrade.

I purchased a cleaning through Groupon. They did a great job and the carpets look great. They do charge extra for stains and tax, so make sure you know this before they come :-)
