At 8pm on 2/10/26 a sales representative from Kindred came to my door. I have two young children that were woken up by this visit and I can see I'm not the first person to have received a late evening visit.<br><br>This is incredibly inappropriate and disrespectful behavior.<br><br>I already have a pest control company, but you can be guaranteed that this event assures I will never switch to Kindred.

Dear Mr.Leatham I am writing to express my concern regarding an incident at my home on 1/29/2026. At approximately 9:30 PM, a representative from Kindred Pest Control came to my door attempting to sell pesticide treatment services. This behavior is highly inappropriate: • The visit occurred very late at night, which is intrusive and disrespectful. • When I requested a business card, the representative refused to provide one. • This clearly constitutes canvassing, and the approach appeared to be avoiding city solicitation rules. I find this conduct unprofessional and unacceptable. I request that you remind all employees of proper solicitation hours, identification requirements, and respect for residents’ rights. Thank you

This company is the real deal!! Michael Hoston is an amazing technician, he was not only efficient but explained the entire process and didn’t all with a very positive and passionate attitude. Kindred always has a way of making me feel like we had been with the company for many years. HAVE HAD THE WORST EXPERIENCE OF MY LIFE WITH KINDRED PEST CONTROL,They came knocking on my door, and I trusted them to do a good job, so I signed a one-year contract until November. I called them to ask if they could do an inspection and another treatment, as I only wanted to pay for the service and was no longer under contract. All of this was verbal, and they told me they would only charge me for the visit and the treatment, a total of $108. Then they sent me a bill for $108, claiming they had done the work. That day was my daughter's birthday, December 6th, and they were charging me for work they hadn't done. The person who was supposed to do the work never showed up. I called them because they had sent me a bill, asking if someone from their company had actually done the work, and they responded that they send the bill before doing the work. They are also charging me $128, saying I needed to have an active account to receive the treatment, something the person who took the call never mentioned. I think there should be consequences for companies that are not honest and lie about providing a service, because I entrusted my home to people I shouldn't have trusted, people who lack the ethics of providing a service and who hide the truth about how they treat their customers.

Donald came to my residence and did an amazing job exterminating the interior and exterior of my house. Donald was very knowledgeable and took pride In his work. Chris and Devin also came by to make sure I was satisfied with the services provide. I'm glad I chose Kindred Pest Control.<br><br>Kouren came by my house and applied the second extermination treatment. KT was very knowledgeable about his craft as well. As of the 1st service, everything was good. The representative Diana she explained what to expect to the technician Detric1 that came to service my home. Which he was very attractive and knowledgeable. For my second visit 1 month after initial visit to reinforce what was done. It was a good job too and the tech Taylar M was sweet and knowledgeable too.

Shunton should teach great service to the world! He’s just a pleasure. Excellent work and checked back for any questions or concerns. We love Kindred and Shunton.

Davion Banks did a good job on redoing a treatment inside my house explained what the issue was and He used the right product to get the problem resolved

Detric1 Gardner was super polite and did his job thoroughly. He treated all the extra spots and areas we wanted, 2 thumbs up. He did a great job as always!

DO NOT RECOMMEND. As others have stated, the services didn't work, and when they were contacted for a repeat service - for INDOOR issues - they would schedule for a time that I told them no one would be home to let them in, so they would just service the outside. We actually saw an increase in bug activity with their services.<br><br>On top of that, we were moving and I asked to have service suspended until we moved into the new house, but was told that wasn't possible, so I asked to cancel and was told I'd have to pay the $230 penalty for early cancellation. I refused, so the workaround was supposed to be they would service the house for the new homeowners. When the time came for the last quarterly service (the only one owed), the new homeowners refused the service, so they started badgering me about either paying the cancellation fee or letting them service the current, TEMPORARY, address where we were living. I refused since it was my parents' house and they already had an exterminator, whose services actually worked. My husband ended up agreeing, even though he was not on the contract I signed and had no legal rights to agree to services at my parents' address. We were threatened with a mechanics' lein since we refused to pay.<br><br>RUN!! Do NOT sign any type of contract with them!

I strongly recommend reading my review before signing a contract with this company.<br>When a representative from Kindred came to our home to convince me to sign a contract with them, she told me they provide the best service. I clearly explained to her that my son and I are allergic to insect bites, especially mosquitoes, and that it was very important for us that the service be effective. She assured me that after their pest control treatment we would see clear improvements.<br>Based on her assurances, I signed the contract on her mobile phone. At no point did she inform me that canceling the contract would require a $398 cancellation fee. Had I been told this, I would never have signed the contract.<br>After the first service, not only did we see no improvement, but we actually started seeing new types of insects in our home that we had never had before. I contacted customer service and sent emails, but received no response at all. The second service also made no difference. We were unable to use our backyard due to the large number of mosquitoes, and every time we opened the door, mosquitoes would enter our home — a problem we never had before.<br>Customer service continued to ignore the issue until I requested to cancel the contract. Only then did they suddenly start calling and texting me two to three times a week demanding that I pay the $398 cancellation fee, without any concern for the fact that not only did they fail to solve my problem, but they actually made it worse.<br>Unfortunately, I had a very bad experience with this company, and I sincerely hope others do not have to go through the same situation.

I hired this company's services. The person who came to sign the contract told me that all services were included in my payments, including any necessary visits, and that their pesticides were effective against all insects and that there would be no extra charges. I always had insects in my yard and inside my house. I called several times, but the insects kept reappearing. And now it turns out I have to pay for an extra service because they need to use special liquids, even though everything was supposed to be included in my payments. Like all companies, they're just trying to make a profit. I don't recommend them because they didn't solve my problem.

We had service today 12/10/25 by Kindred Pest Control. Our service was performed by Cantrell Hardy who honestly had the best attitude we have encountered in 5 years! He was thorough with his service and his positive attitude was so refreshing, we appreciate him for the great experience!

This company is not a good company at all, I feel robbed by them. From the beginning it was not a good experience. The treatment seems to be water based to due I still saw a wood roach after treatment and they claimed that they would come out and retreat but the same problem occurred after retreat mentioned. When I tried to cancel, the account, they said that I would need to pay the initial 230.00 dollars that I was discounted when the solicitor came to my door. It's Christmas time and I did not get a chance to call them back to work out some type of settlement before they debited my account 230.00 dollars. They didn't try to satisfy the customer (me)! I will be contacting the better business bureau and my bank to reverse the charges. If I had the time to sue I would because they do not try to resolve a very unhappy customer. Run, dont walk from this company.They are a scam!!!!

My partner and I just recently bought a home where our neighbor was getting serviced by Kindred. They were currently running a great deal on the initial service and their quarterly services, which are also a great price! We had been looking for a pest company to come and service us sine we've moved that.<br><br>What really sold me to Kindred was the kindness and professionalism of their staff. You can tell they truly care about their craft and their customers. Brianna took the time explaining the everything—from their service plans to even the breakdown of the bugs and insects they spray for. Jeremy Johnson did our initial spray. He was on time and professional throughout the service. Cantrell Hardy did our quarterly spray today, and though no one was home, he was in constant communication with me from the time he was on the way, to the time he finished. Latest 11/21: Today, Xavier came and inspected/sprayed the front yard, backyard and garage. No matter which tech comes, they are always so polite and professional. I’ve been using Kindred for two years and have had zero issues, so I think they are doing a great service!<br>Daniel S was very thorough and professional. He explained what he was going to do and made sure I understood and was okay either it. Very friendly and helpful!<br>Second visit, to spray the inside of house, also went very well. I contracted Kindred because they were the first ones available to come in for treatment. This was for a brand-new construction investment property I wanted to keep as pristine as possible. After every service not a single bug was dead off by the baseboards which is usually what happens with any critters you have. However, we would still notice live ones here and there. Their treatments simply do not work. When I tried to bring that to their attention they simply recommended repeat service (which we also tried) but there’s only so many times you’re going to meet someone out there to perform this task. After half a year with them and no results I asked to cancel, instead of fixing anything, they started sending threatening emails, texts, and letters about filing a mechanic’s lien on the home.<br><br>For two months I’ve been calling, only to be transferred to random reps in different countries with no real office, no manager, and no one who can actually help. Meanwhile, the threats keep coming.<br><br>They even tried to charge me $260 just to cancel a service that failed from day one.<br>Absolutely awful company—unprofessional, unhelpful, and aggressive.<br>Save yourself the headache and avoid them entirely.

Really appreciate Kindred’s quality of service. Haley B came by today and was fantastic. I’ve been using them for over a year now and would recommend to anyone. I think they are very reasonably priced for the services they provide.

Cantrell did our yard twice now and was very courteous and thorough. I appreciated the information he left when he was finished about keeping pets away from areas that were still wet and about seeing more bugs in the next couple of weeks as the start coming out in the open and die. 😵‍💫 🪳

Great service as always. Kindred team always communicates with us before hand to notify us when they are coming and ask if there’s anything that needs targeted treatment. Doesn’t seem like a big to some but when life is hectic it’s nice to get a reminder so that nothing is missed. Every tech that has com to our home has been super respectful and polite and they are quick and thorough. When we needed a reservice due to ants, they were responsive and quick to work us in. I am forever grateful for the sales agent Conner who came to our door to get us started months ago, it has been such a great experience compared to our previous pest control company, and even though we’re saving money, as a new homeowner with a sick husband at home, the peace of mind this company has provided us, as a whole, has been the BEST part!!

These people are straight up crooks. Salesperson came to my door and offered me a discounted inspection for $19. No contract no paperwork nothing. Had me sign on his phone and took my payment. He told me they come every 3 months for $99 so that seemed reasonable. They literally came back three weeks later which was not told to me and they tried to deduct payment. I didn’t agree to that but it wasn’t a big issue but I did decided that the pest control wasn’t needed so I wanted to cancel them and they told me in order to cancel I had to reimburse them for the discount I received when they first came for $249. The sales guy never mentioned anything like this to me otherwise I would have never let them walk around my property that’s all the guy did and now they wasn’t 249 for that and threatened to put a mechanics lien on my home if I dont pay. These people took my initials from that day and forged it on a contract that I never even seen and now are trying to hold me accountable. This is con at its best and I wish yall to get shut down for scamming people out they hard earned money

My service tech was donald clark and he did a really good job. He explained everything perfectly what they were doing and how to keep him and my dogs safe. He was quick and effective and not a single dead roach found on the traps either for the first time in 4 treatments.<br><br>Update - 11/04/25 - Davion Banks came to do the quarterly service and I feel like he spent more time on the yard and in the house and around the house. The previous ones had just been real quick in and out and barely notice they are there. I appreciate the extra time spent. I feel like the job was done about as thorough as you can do and I doubt any bugs will ever be in or around my house ever again! 5 stars for him too.

My house just got a monthly treatment today. My tech is Sean Jackson. He’s so sweet, courteous and thorough. He listens to my concerns about ants and treat anthills around my house. After finishing the treatment, he’ll get back to me to update and let me know what to expect and what should be done if problems have not been solved. I like Kindred Pest Control for their integrity, price transparency and their clear communication.

Travis at Kindred Pest Control did a good job. He texted to let me know he was on the way and arrived shortly thereafter. He was very polite and let me know what he would be doing. The service was done efficiently and he met with me to let me know the results. I am pleased with this service.

Not worth it. When they came out I told them I wanted service done at my home after 430 when I'm home so they can do backyard and interior of house . They only did it twice after that they came whatever time they wanted and only serviced the front yard. Managers were no help at all either.
