Dr Foam Insulators

I hired Dr. Foam to replace my fiberglass batt insulation under my house with closed-cell foam. Sammy's crew suited up and began quickly removing all the old insulation and bagging it while Sammy prepared all the foam equipment, compressor, hoses, etc. They protected my work area and shelving, then swept through the underside of the house with Sammy following behind spraying the foam. I had 2" applied, and the application was generously sprayed into place. By late afternoon, the crew had cleaned everything up and Sammy had finished applying the foam. I went through and inspected and found it to be well applied with adequate thickness; filling all seams between joists, beams, and underflooring. The areas around piping were filled correctly and all voids into the upper areas were sealed. Great job!

We used Dr. Foam aka Sammy Vera 2 years ago to do a roof and a new build. He is the worst! First we only did 1/8th of an inch of closed cell on our exterior under roof aka attic ceiling and missed a 12ft section. All exterior walls were lucky if there was 1” one inch of open cell. My husband was fighting cancer and did not double check the work. As for our roof it has bubbles all over it which means he did not pressure wash nor treat the roof area properly for foam to stick. On top of this the coating bleed through which means he did not apply the correct, proper amount of coating to seal our roof. He is truly the worst. He sold us with a warranty his work…. But we cannot get him to answer our phone calls, text message’s, emails, or through messenger on FB. Dr. Foam is truly unprofessional and a liar. They will just rip you off, take your money and never come back. These are truth with hard facts and proof with pictures It’s been two years Dr. Foam could have made this right. However, We did end up having to hired a great foam company to fix what could be fixed and they were much cheaper than Dr. Foam, and they have integrity of their work. Run if you think of using Dr. Foam!

Tried to contact this company on two separate occasions on a referral from someone l know. Got their answering machine. Left a detailed message for them to call me. Left my home number which has an answering machine. Never got a return call. Very disappointed.

Sammy was easy to work with and his team got the job done quickly! Insulated my new home build and we are happy with the results. Highly recommend, no need to look anywhere else!

Contracted Dr Foam for BIBS on first floor walls and 7.5" of foam on roof deck. My concerns about foam being mixed improperly were alleviated when he explained they have a computer controlled mixing system that will not allow it. However, he showed up the day of foaming with two trailers, one of which had a manual system. I explained this is not what we wanted, but had to leave the job site soon after with the understanding that he would not use the second trailer, however when I came back I saw he used both trailers anyway. None of the foam was to the contracted depth, much was it was even less than 5.5 inches. He came back to foam again to the proper depth, which improved it some but it is not consistent, he did not use depth gauges, and there are lots of voids. Second time here he was obviously in a rush and did not scrape the floors as clean. Their trim job was quick and rough and I had to re-trim a lot of the foam myself before drywall would fit. The quality of the BIBs job was better but I still had to go around after them and stuff insulation in where they left voids. Two stars because he was nice, and quick, but quality is lacking.

Dr Foam installed 2" closed cell spray foam in my crawl space of my pier and beam house. We can tell a difference immediately after work was complete. Their price was competitive and guys were professional and friendly.

Dr. Foam removed the blown in insulation in my home on Tuesday, August 27th and then returned the next day to spray the insulation. Sammy's team did a great job at a great price. They were very careful not to damage anything and they did a great job cleaning up. They were very quick and hard working despite an attic well over 110 degrees. Very pleased with there work. He has a great and Courtious crew. He took care of everything I wanted to get done and then some. They cleaned up after themselves and took all of there trash with them. Amazing company. I would highly recommend them.

I'm very pleased with the outcome. Anthony and Nacho were thorough with their work, polite and clean (considering the messy material they were working with). I had four bids and they were almost HALF the cost of two of them, using the same Lapolla product at 2" depth (closed cell).

Dr. Foam was the only company that offered a flood discount for closed cell spray foam. This helped us stay in budget which has been hard to do since the beginning of construction. Cheers to Dr. Foam!!

Showed up on time. Very courteous workers. Our home was a 'flood' job, so there wasn't much to ruin with overspray. Where there was overspray, the residue popped off. On a scale of 1-10, they were a 9 on covering everything and cleaning up. Would definitely use them again.

Dr. Foam installed 2" of closed cell insulation on my exterior walls and 5.5" of open cell insulation on the roof deck. I couldn't be happier. The product is incredible and my home is much more energy efficient. Sammy, the owner, is great to work with. He follows up, answers calls/texts, and does what he says he's going to do. He staff listened and complied with my requests without complaint. Overall, this is a great company. I highly recommend them!

I have a small attic space that needs insulation. Most big companies passed on me but these guys gave me the time of day. I'd rather work with a small company anyway because you usually get better customer service which is the case with these guys. Showed up on time, got the job done in a timely manner, and cleaned up after themselves. Can't ask for much more. Happy with the work done. Would def recommend Dr Foam Insulators to a friend.

Sammy was very easy to work with. He came out on my schedule and gave me a fair price. His workers had to work around my crazy schedule and they did without any issues. Would use him again.

Sami was on time and did exactly the job he said he was going to do at a very reasonable price. He even sprayed our a/c ducts and made a world of difference in our cooling. Could'nt be happier. Saved our home after the flood. Recommend them to anyone.
