They proceeded to mention the $99 is only a service fee and not the fee to actually do the work — I refused the service and the technician then quoted $200 it seemed like an open negotiation to which I then offered $150. I did talk to the office after - they called immediately to resolve the situation and as any good business sided with their employee and said would call back if they can do it for $150. They never called back so I am assuming they are ok with their technicians coming out and quoting whatever fee they would like. Clearly in my opinion seems like a bait and switch and seems like a standard practice for these guys based few other reviews I recently read following my experience. The above is my opinion based on my experience. There are good reviews for these guys as well so do your homework and pick based on how you feel and you don’t have to go based on my opinions or experiences.<br><br>Would I use them again - NO.<br>Would I recommend them to anyone - NO.

Clean air came out to the house had to replace an air vent or dryer vent should I say on our house either broken birds are trying to make a nest in it. the men came out and did a great job they didn't try to charge me or convince me to do something that I know we didn't need they were clean professional it was a wonderful experience I couldn't I couldn't find the replacement piece to do it myself he had it gave me two options of what I wanted to do what how I wanted to put it up fixed it it was a wonderful job we really appreciate the help. We had Clean Air Pro out to clean out our Dryer Vent. They were punctual and did a great job.<br><br>There guys mentioned that they also did a/c duct work and insulation as well. We choose not to have that done because we have new a/c ductwork and had insulation fine last year.<br><br>This procedure should be done every couple of years to allow your dryer to breathe as well as preventing fires.

you have to watch these guys. they sent a guy to our house and gave a price of $1390, well he showed us what we thought was pictures of our attic. i had a company called environmental solutions come here with better prices. i sent them the pictures of what i thought was my attic to the new company only to find out they were not my house...wow...what companies do to get money...the other company did it for $850 plus tax and 4% for creditcard so $957 vs $1390...they also provided the real pictures of our attic..i called to complained and the guy who took my call was like calm and didn't acted like he cared...

I recently had my ducts serviced by Clean Air Houston Pro, and while the technicians who came out were absolutely amazing— very informative and professional, I was disappointed with the overall results, largely due to the equipment used.<br><br>For the $1,250 I spent (@ $69 a vent) along with $250 for cleaning the plenum box and supply plenum, I expected more professional-grade equipment or a rotobrush at minimum. Instead, they used a Shop-Vac and an Air Care TruckMaster. While I understand the truckmaster is specialized for duct cleaning, I was not impressed with the outcome. As one of the technicians was cleaning inside the ducts, I noticed particles flying out everywhere. He tarped off the surrounding areas, but this wasn't enough to prevent dust and debris from spreading throughout my home. After they left, I could see and feel debris on various surfaces (that didn’t have tarps), which was frustrating considering the cost.<br><br>Additionally, I was not happy with how the vents were cleaned. Instead of washing them and removing the gunk behind them with a brush, they were merely sprayed with Kilz. Upon closer inspection, I noticed that the gunk was still there—it was just coated with Kilz. I was expecting a more thorough cleaning, with the vents being scrubbed or soaked to remove all the mildew and dust buildup first. Then when he was cleaning the main vent on my 30x20 return, he did not remove it to clean the went outside which was surprising to me because it is easily removable. He just used the button lock brush which resulted the dust flying everywhere (I’ll attach photos).<br><br>That said, the tools provided by the company fell short of my expectations. It’s clear that they chose to cut costs by providing the technicians with inadequate tools. I’ll likely consider a different company next time, hoping for a better overall experience.

We have blown in cellulose insulation in our attic since the 1960’s. We had some major renovations done to our kitchen and bathrooms and since then I’ve noticed more and more dust settling inside our house. They’ve been seeping in through cracks found in spaces around recessed lighting, ceiling fans and light fixtures that were installed. Further more, our air conditioning duct system occasionally would blow pieces of insulation into our living space. We needed our air duct system checked and also to make sure everything that comes into our living space sealed tight.<br><br>My son and I are allergic to dust. We found Ben to be professional, personable, very knowledgeable and with excellent ratings from satisfied customers.<br><br>We discussed with Ben the issues we were having and he gave us a plan to resolve them all. He told us he would completely remove all old insulation, vacuum and disinfect the entire attic before sealing every nook and cranny so that the entire attic space is completely isolated from the living space below. New ductwork, plenums, register boxes and covers would be installed. All will be sealed tight. Only then would new insulation be placed down.<br><br>Supervisor German, Wilmer, Rolando plus others worked diligently to complete the project. They were polite, hardworking and careful with our home. They completely lined our living space with plastic sheets to protect my carpet, furniture and all open surfaces from dust and grit. I was extremely impressed by the scope and effort put into doing so. All the old insulation and garbage were carefully bagged securely and disposed of. From beginning to end their service was outstanding.<br><br>I am not coughing nor sneezing because of dust anymore. I love my new clean air. I’m delighted that I made the right choice with CLEAN AIR PRO.

DO NOT HIRE this company. The work they did was good. But they quote you one price over the phone then when they come out it's like 10 times more. Then they expect you to tell them about the progress of what their technicians are doing. I'm like those are your technicians. Then some guy calls you and tells you to say if someone ask you how much tell them it was only $199 but I actually paid $1200. Now the guy is calling me asking me why I didn't lie.

I was quite disappointed that the price that was estimated for the less than effective work, less than effective communication, and advice given. CAP came out to clean our chimney after we had back up smoke, the following day when we burned a fire once again the backup smoke was twice as bad. We called CAP to come back again, 3 days later they came back out. They told us that we were not allowed to burn wood in the fireplace, only use ceramic wood and gas. Why were we not informed of this on our first consultation? We had the manager come out a 3rd time and he explained it to us with very broken English.<br><br>I will say our dryer works better than it has in years but we are extremely disappointed in the service. I will never refer anyone to this company.

I will start with some pros because the quality of the duct cleaning and response time was excellent, BUT the young men they sent to my house to clean the vents got white spray paint on both my leather couch and leather dining chairs!! They spray the inside of your vents with white spray paint and neglected to use any plastic whatsoever to protect my property. They noticed they damaged my property and continued on with their job then left. Once I noticed I called to discuss the issue with management and they sent someone to clean the paint from my furniture and while he was here he explained to me that this has happened before to peoples furniture and appliances... If you don't want spray paint on your belongings don't invite these guys into your house.

Pricing is much higher than expected. Be prepared to pay much more to clean your ducts and vents than the advertised price. I ended up paying $250 + tax for cleaning just the plenum box and two air returns. Not really worth it. The technicians are on time and friendly, however they didnt clean the floors after (lots of white particles falling from the air returns to my floor)

I was quoted a little over $200 for A/C duct and dryer vent cleaning by this company over the phone. The workers showed up with masks but no gloves, inspected the ducts, took pictures and showed me how bad they were. Then the boss got on the phone and wanted to charge me $600. Typical bait and switch. I had done my research and knew this was way out of line. Not until I told the boss that I wanted to check with another company that the price came down to a more reasonable total of $378, though I believe that is still a bit high for my 1300 sf house.<br><br>Though I think the workers did a good job and climbed on the roof to get to the dryer vent, I would not recommend using this company.

I would like to thank Clean Air for a job well done. I needed my ducts cleaned as well as my evaporator coil. Everything looked brand new! I have nothing but good things to say.

I hate to say but I wasn't too happy with the results. The team was very professional and did the job quick, and even showed me the pictures. But their sales pitch was a bit misleading and therefore I didn't get the service I was looking for. They didn't clean any of the vents as they tell you in the sales "unlimited vents". They didn't clean the dryer vent at all, and only after my insistence, one of the guys went up and only by hand removed the lint that is at the exit of the vent.<br>I had specifically requested no spraying anything in the ducts, but they sprayed something and it has been now 10 days and it smells terrible anytime the AC comes on.<br>I will have to call another company to come out and do a proper cleaning. This was a waste of money.

The Team at Clean Air Houston Pro was reasonably priced and incredibly attentive. They wanted to make sure they were thorough and gave us the service we needed, no more, no less. I probably called them 50 times trying to coordinate schedules and changes to our needs - they were kind and professional every time. Their crew was amazing.
