I am totally confused. I received service from a tech named Devin. I asked Devin to change out a roach hotel that's been here for 3 months. Devin said he couldn't do it and the text that put the roach motel there should not have done so. If we're not getting rid of roaches what kind of service do I have?

I am highly disappointed with this company… I originally contacted them with a flea issue. They stated they can handle this however after 7 months there are still fleas! I have moved and went to cancel services they then proceeded to charge me an additional $199 for canceling even though they did not solve the issue we were having. Absolutely ridiculous! I do not recommend this company to anyone!

I finally spoke to someone. They still kept me on the contact and didn't remove my outrageous fees. But they compensated some and worked with me to get the payments made. The original post will stay due to the shady, aggressive tactics with no one taking responsibility. I need the service. I'll add 2 stars for the actual results.<br><br>The sales man who made the offer told me it would be every 3 months. When the guy came to spray he had me sign, so i did. NOW! I am being charged 120.00 monthly instead of the quartely i was promised. Now to break contract there is a fee. and no one has been back to spray since the first visit Oct. 31st 2025. This review is in Dec. 29th 2025. And there is never anyone i could talk to about this issue i am having.

I already called to say I wanted to cancel services. I already spoke to people scheduled to come over not to come over and ya'll still keep sending people over and you're still charging me and no one is home because I already called to cancel so I keep getting charged for someone to come out and not do anything. Don't start, they'll never stop coming. They're closed after work so they don't schedule someone past like 4 and the customer service is closed after work.

Douglas gave an ETA text, and showed up promptly afterwards. I did not hear the doorbell(deaf), but I heard him on the back deck working. I went out to say hello and let him into the house to do the interior. The man asked questions and got to work. He was very professional.

Today was NOT the level of service I’ve come to appreciate and expect. Our service person arrived the day before the scheduled appointment. Explained he had no control over the service calls he’s notified to make. The plan discussed was not implemented. I was told to upgrade our plan to include the service options needed and he would set spring traps, reload bait boxes, and provide an interior perimeter spray. There are no spring traps set and one bait box set in the backyard when the reported activity is in the home. While I was working in the office, the service person sprayed one spot on three walls of a full size room which makes me question if the rest of the home received the same type of perimeter treatment. We are questioning our contract now. We haven’t had the same service person treat the home in three years and the level of service has significantly decreased since the first year of service.

The technician was very helpful and flexible. He was headed to my house, but I wasn't home and asked him to come later in the day. He shifted his schedule around to accommodate mine. We needed him to spray both our garage and the exterior house which he did thoroughly.

I upgraded my service plan to include mice baitboxes for my yard. We have new homes being built all around us and we want to prevent field mice. The tech came for my service and did not have them on his truck. Even though I spoke with a representative and asked to put it in the notesand was assured that it would be taken care of.

If you never need to speak to these people and all you want is for them to come out and do the treatment and collect their money then I guess they’re fine. But heaven help you if you need to get in touch With a human being. I am purposely leaving this negative review in the hopes that somebody will contact me. If I don’t find a way to speak with somebody in person on the phone today, they’re losing my business.<br>Update. I finally figured out the magic words to get to a person when you call the number for the main office in Utah. I won’t comment on the strong sense that I got that this was a call center in India or somewhere outside of the country but we will just run with what happened on my phone call. When you get the virtual assistant on the line and she asks what they can do for you today don’t tell him anything else other than you need to speak to a representative or you need to speak to an agent. If you do that you’ll get somebody and they will very sweetly give you the service that you request, As they did for me. When you finish speaking with the person who helps you ask to speak to the supervisor but tell them you’re not angry and you like the service you received, but you want to give feedback regarding their ridiculous Webb presence where they want you to do everything virtually. They’ve had a lot of complaints and it’s good to add yours. I would switch this to four stars because they give good service. The people in the field are great. They just think they’re too good to talk to real people at the main office.

Not doing business with them ever again. I've been using them for over 5 years and service was quite good and at a reasonable price. About a year ago, during one of their quarterly visits, their employee told me that I needed to renew the contract and that they were going to start coming on a monthly basis (and charged more for doing so). I specifically told him that I did not need them to come more often than quarterly so he told me he was going to put that note in their system. I made the mistake of not checking my credit card statement for their charges, and realized 10 months later that they've been charging me every month ( a total of $500 extra for that period!!). I called them to tell them about the issue and initially they told me I was going to get $300 refunded, which was not everything but showed good faith. Waited for a couple of months and never received the refund, so called them again and they told me that they were not going to refund me anything, that I could talk to a lawyer if I wanted to and that i was going to lose. Shame on them if they steal money from their loyal customers by tricking them into changing their plans and lying to them about it.

The issues were resolved and I want to also add the I scheduled the re-create service by logging into my account and submitting the request online. I'm thankful I didn't have to call or even deal with a machine or person other than the tech. I also want to add that the tech reached out before arriving via text in order to allow me the opportunity to provide more details and they responded back to ensure that they understood my concerns and treated the exact areas of concern. If I could leave a 0 star review, I would. Originally, I was quoted a $75 charge for crazy ant problems because they were having a "sale". They came out, and we still had the ant problem. Had to call a different company that did an excellent job. Now I am being charged $75 a month saying that I signed up for a pro plan. Deceptive practices. Stau away from these guys. Saw reviews on yelp with a 2 star rating. Now I know why. Going to the BBB. Frustrating to say the least!

Mike has come out to my house my last couple of services. He is always very attentive to my concerns or what I consider a problem area. I have noticed a huge improvement since the start of my service, especially with spiders which are all over the place where I live because of the woods. Mike is always very friendly when treating the inside of my house and even gave me some advice to help my dog with a skin condition!

DO NOT TRUST THIS COMPANY!!!!<br><br>If I could give this company negative stars I would. Firstly, I was very excited to have a pest control company due to my house having so many mosquitoes and my kids love to play outside. The first guy to come out was overly nice and then proceeded to inappropriately text me from his personal phone that he got my number from Aptives database. After filing a formal complaint with HR and letting them know how inappropriate it is to have a grown man come in my home without my husband there and children present and text me was extremely unprofessional. I was told said service provider would NEVER come to my home again, that a note would be added to my account and they would take care of this. Besides my better judgment I allowed them to continue services trusting perhaps it was just the guy and not the companies fault. WRONG. 2 services later the same man comes into my home while I’m alone again. (My husband works for an air conditioning company and is gone most days)<br><br>My husband then calls Aptive to cancel and is given the run around and told he is unable to cancel that his wife would need to since I signed up for the service. Fine, I call they them instead and they give me the run around and ask if it would be okay to just charge me less. I say I would like to cancel. And I leave the phone call thinking it had been taken care of. WRONG AGAIN.<br><br>I get a text a few weeks later saying someone was coming to service my yard. I call and ask to speak to a supervisor. We have a 30 minute phone call on why I feel so uncomfortable with anymore of their men coming to my home, why my husband feels uncomfortable and how they have completely broken our trust. Said supervisor tells me normally he would have to charge $199 to cancel but because of this disgusting and inappropriate situation he would just invoice me to pay at a later date and close my account so I wouldn’t be charged anymore. A few days go by and I check my email and see I never received the invoice which he promised to email. I look at my bank account and see $199 was taken out of my account.<br><br>I get the run around on how the supervisor never said that. How they cannot refund me the $199 because the account is closed and the only way to do it is for me to open my account back up with them and continue my services. Every single individual I have spoken to and told this situation I asked them, would you want to have a company like that come to your home? And would you trust that company? They all said no!!!! Why on earth would I reopen my account. Absolutely crazy. This company is a bunch of scammers, please take your business elsewhere. Btw, the mosquitoes never got better.<br><br>Aptive, you should sincerely be ashamed of yourselves. I would have continued my services with you if these situations didn’t happen but they did and you guys fail to take accountability and it’s honestly just sickening. -738292746349283/10 SHAME ON YOU

Better off using a different company. Absolutely do your homework before signing a contract with aptive.<br>Been using aptive for 6 or so months. At first they were able to get rid of the ants in our house and i could smell the chemicals that they were spraying. Not anymore. This last time they sprayed i got on the ground and tried to smell any sign of chemical and nothing. I think they are spraying water. The first time they came out i hardly saw any granules in the yard. Next time i asked them to put out a lot of granules. He put out a little more but not much. I ask every time for them to treat the yard well with granules and they just spot treat where they see activity. They do not treat the whole yard. Also, my first treatment was on the 7th of the month but they will delay when they treat. Next treatment will be middle of month then end of month. By the time they reach their seasonal cutoff i will have been shorted a month of treatment. I dont really think it will matter though the way they are treating. I can buy poison and treat myself for less than what they are charging me. In my opinion they are not holding up their part of the contract. I unfortunately cant recommend them.<br><br>(Follow up edit). So i called aptive and talked to a supervisor with aptive and explained the situation to her. Every time i tried to speak she would cut me off and talk over me. I unfortunately finally had to raise my voice with her just so i could tell her to allow me to speak without interruption. I asked her if she understood this and she would not respond that she understood that she should not interrupt. I had to ask repeatedly perhaps 7 or 8 times before she finally said she understood. Horrible customer service from a supervisor. I was finally able to explain my concerns completely and i requested that aptive terminate the contract because i believe they are in breach of contract. She refused to do so stating that there is no way to get rid of the ants in my yard and the contract states as such. I explained that i could smell no chemical smell from the poisons they were spraying and she told me that they use an odorless chemical. This is absolute nonsense. I told her they were only spot treating the yard for ants and she confirmed that that is all that they do. They do not treat the entire yard. This will only move the ants to another part of your yard. It will not push them away from your property. I would never recommend aptive to anyone and i will certainly never use them again. They have lost a customer and i hope others will use this review to consider whether or not they want to enter into a contract with aptive that they WILL NOT cancel even if they are not doing they job they claim they will do when you sign up with a contract.

Oh my goodness, Daniel [along with the entire Aptive team] was an absolute LIFE SAVER 😁 with taking care of our wasp nests and bugs! Our provider Marvin was SO thorough, we had such a wasp, mosquito, dirt dobber...you name it problem. Marvin let us know every aspect of his work done. From his initial coming, to every problem area (lots i wasn't aware of) to even helping me with my schedule so he can make sure he was able to accommodate me to get the inside done. As always, the text are attentive to any concerns that we may have. This particular session I pointed out an ant’s nest that popped up and asked him to look into a possibility of something living under one of my storage bins in the backyard. The technician sent illustrations With the bin, suspended in the air and pointed out. It was a lizard that was driving my dog crazy. The reason I even decided to go with the contract on this company is due to the reassurance of the representative and the wonderful person who was sent to treat my home. I had a horrible contract with Hawx before. They also let you know if you don’t see results in 2 days, call us, and we’ll set up more traps. “This isn’t your problem anymore, we’ve got it from here.” They are also very compassionate for customers’ financial situations. And they get someone to you immediately. The wonderful gentleman also went above and beyond.

The Staff is very comprehensive in how they will service you and they arrive on time. Even though I could not be at the house when they were there, the agent sent photos of the work he did. I appreciated the report he sent me as well of what was treated and what to expect to see in the activity of insect around my property. Seth was very thorough. Thanks Aptive!

I called for an issue with ants and was able to have an appointment for the following day. Leroy came on time, was very polite, and found ant mounds that I had no idea were there. The pricing was also great. I would recommend to anyone looking for extermination to use Aptive.

The customer service and scheduling is terrible at this company. Brian, the guy that came out to treat my home was great. He was very nice, professional and knowledgeable about bugs we have seen recently. I would ask corporate to improve their scheduling system to help customers and their own staff.

I’ve been really impressed with Aptive Pest Control. From the very first visit, the technician was professional, knowledgeable, and thorough in explaining the process. They took the time to inspect both inside and outside the home, pointing out problem areas I hadn’t noticed before.<br><br>The treatments have been effective — I noticed results within the first week, and they continue to follow up on schedule without me having to worry about reminders. I especially appreciate that they use products that are safe for kids and pets, which gives me peace of mind.<br><br>Customer service has been easy to reach whenever I’ve had a question, and scheduling adjustments have been quick and convenient. I been having the same guy for the past 3 months and I been having the same issue.<br>He does not remove all the wasp nests.<br>He always wears ripped shoe covers (so I had to buy some to have for him ).<br>Last month I asked for the small packs for the silver fish and I did not receive any.

I have no complaints about the technician; he was polite and professional. However, I don’t think it makes sense to perform the service while it’s raining, as I feel the treatment may not be as effective. I would appreciate if the scheduling could take the weather into consideration.

I have asked Aptive repeatedly to remove the hundreds of snails from all 4 sides of my garage for 2 years now and they are either unwilling or unable. I knock them down and they return. Be wary of using them as your pest control service.

I’m really impressed with the service I received! Mike went above and beyond to take care of my pest issue. Unlike other technicians that just come in, spray around the perimeter, and leave, Mike took his time to do the job thoroughly. He not only treated the problem but also cleaned up ant trails and cobwebs — something I’ve never seen other technicians do. You can tell he takes pride in his work and genuinely cares about solving the issue, not just masking it. Highly recommend!

The first issue I have Is that your sales person, application Tech and online info state different things regarding preparation for indoor application.<br><br>Your sales person said it was pet friendly and we didn’t need to leave.<br>Your application Tech said it’s only pet friendly after it drys.<br>Your site states to leave and not return until 2 hours after application.<br><br>I have 2 dogs and a new born, with the level of differing info I just received I feel unsafe at this point, also wondering what I’d need to worry about fume wise here.<br><br>My Second issue, The tech sprayed a stream of the insecticide around all base boards to heavily, vs a mist or much finer stream.<br><br>It was 4 hours and I still had puddles around all of my base boards on the floor, it was worse before. I had no choice but to clean it up as it would not dry given the amount used.<br>I’ve had other companies do this before and it’s always been a mist and dry with in an hour.<br>This doesn’t provide the utmost confidence in safety and/or proper service.<br><br>We will see how the customer service goes regarding my complaints, I will update accordingly.

These guys care! My professional lead tech Jay cares and does a phenomenal job! He pays attention to detail, is knowledgeable, and professional. They clean up the spider webs and eggs to prevent hatching and persistent infestation! Highly Recommended
