31-W Insulation

Great insulaton company with really fair prices. They show up when they are supposed to and being a GC, that means a lot. My company will continue to use them for our building insulation needs. PS: they don't do garage doors...just thermal insulation.

We needed to have our new church activity center insulated so I called several companies for a quote. No one would give free estimates except for 31W and one other company. 31W had a great price and did an excellent job. Thank you so much 31W, you guys rock!

My home was being inspected for sale and bizarrely when the inspector came to open the garage, the door jammed on the door frame and the opener pulled the metal brackets right off the door. I never had any problems before, but my door was 9 years old so I guess it was due for some kind of problem. I needed to replace the brackets and perhaps one of the door panels too. I needed a quick fix before closing on the house and I didn't want to change the entire door. I figured the best option would be to contact the original manufacturer which was 31W. I called them on a Tuesday and they told me that their repair person would not be available until Friday to come out and take a look at it. I agreed to this and they said they would call me to setup a specific time for the appointment. They never did. I called them on Thursday afternoon and left a message reminding them that we still need to setup an appointment time. At 7:15 AM on Friday morning they called me asking me to call them back. I got the message at 9:45 AM and gave them a call. Their customer service rep asked me if they could come immediately (at 10 AM), but at the time I had an appointment and asked to reschedule to 11:30 AM instead. She told me that they could not, so I told them I would cancel my appointment so they could come now. Then I was told that since I didn't answer my phone at 7:15 AM, they rescheduled my time slot with another customer and they would not be able to come at all that day. I was going to be out of town the entire next week and I needed them to come resolve this issue before the closing date. I kept pushing for them to come and told them that I had called 3 days prior, but nothing I said convinced them to help me. The rep told me that their branch manager is the repairman and he is very busy and so he could not accommodate me. When I kept complaining she told me that he would try to fit me into his schedule that day. I asked for his number so I could follow up. Later on I called him on the number I was given several times, but each time someone answered and hung up. There was no option to leave a message. They never called me or apologized. Overall I am extremely dissatisfied with the service I received. They definitely seem understaffed as their manager is also the repairman. I ended up calling another company and they came the same day and were also available on the weekend. 31W did not work on weekends. Stay away from 31W. They are unprofessional, don't even keep their appointments, and don't even try to correct a mistake they made.
