I received three quotes for insulation, and while I almost went with the first company (it was the least expensive) something told me to get one final quote, and that happened to be from Hunter’s Insulation. Hunters Insulation did a bang-up job on my attic insulation replacement. They removed my old insulation, cleaned/vacuumed the entire attic, air sealed and installed new insulation all in one day. His quote was more than fair (actually under what I expected), and he made sure that installation and materials were according to our approved set of plans. He even helped me out with a few minor things I overlooked. They completed the installation in one day but didn’t rush, and the result was awesome. After extensive research and reading through miscellaneous literature, in 2023 I retained Hunter’s insulation to remove the old insulation, not much of which was left, and replace it completely with new insulation. Luke told me that I would notice a decline in my electricity charges and that the house will stay cooler in the summer and warmer in the winter. The effect has been phenomenal. My AC used to kick in at 1:00 PM in the hot summer days and now it only come on at 4:00PM and stays on for seven minutes and turns off! The effect has been unbelievable and has far exceeded what I was told by Luke! That also applies to the gas bill but out here, AC is much more critical than a heater is! Way to go Luke, I’m delighted to have listened to you and chosen you guys to do my work. Thank you

HUNTER'S INSULATION crew did an outstanding job of preparing our home so that no dust or debris entered our home when they removed the very old insulation. Luke was great to work with. He was very thorough in explaining all the details of the work, including why various steps are needed. (I check EVERYTHING told to me, and he was absolutely dead-on correct on all the details.) I needed some ceiling lights changed, and he worked cooperatively with the electrician on scheduling. I can’t recommend Hunter’s Insulation enough! From the very beginning, Luke stood out from the other contractors I got quotes from. Even as the owner, he personally came out to give me an estimate and spent over an hour answering all of my questions—way more time than he needed to. I want to start off by saying Luke is a gentleman and a scholar. Not only was he kind and patient but he clearly explained my insulation options and what would be best for our home. He took the time to call/ text me to clarify any questions I had in a timely fashion. He educated me on the different types of insulation and installation methods that would maximize the R value we can get for our homes specific situation. At that moment I had realized most other contractors I had gotten a quote from were just trying to sell me on a specific product or werent willing to do it the proper way. Luke air sealed our home first, which most contractors didnt even mention to me as an option. Then blow-in insulation in the walls and batts in the attic. The care he put into the work was very evident and i felt like he cared about our home as if it was his own. His price was great, he worked quickly, did a VERY high quality install and left the house clean. Luke also stayed in touch to make sure everything was good after the work. My home is now noticeably quieter and less drafty. Luke's guidance and kindness are unmatched. I HIGHLY recommend hiring Hunters Insulation.

I am a general contractor and I have used Hunter’s Insulation to on several jobs, including on my own personal property. Luke is very knowledgeable and he and his team can do all different types of insulation. I constructed a larger 2 story ADU in my backyard. We went with spray foam and batt insulation on the ceilings and high density batt insulation for the walls. Even in the hottest months of summer, our electric bill was only $50! If you are looking for a reliable, honest, and knowledgeable insulation contractor, Luke is your guy.

It has been a little over two years since Luke removed the old ineffective debris and insulation from my attic and replaced it with 12" of blown-in insulation. It has been a little over one year since he added blown-in insulation to the walls of my house. The difference in temperature has been astounding. On days that it was 100+ outside my AC wouldn't kick on until the late afternoon. Beyond clearly being very good at his job, Luke patiently humored all of my questions, helped me determine what worked best for my situation, and maintained clear communication through the entire process. Don't even bother looking for other insulation companies - Hunter's Insulation is the end all be all for whatever you could need.

I was having insane power bills trying to keep my home at a comfortable temperature, but thanks to Luke and his amazing work on adding new insulation and removing the old gross and ineffective stuff my utility bills are significantly less and something else I didn't plan on, it's much quieter now!!! I got a few quotes, and not only was Luke's quote slightly less than a general contractor and handyman, the materials and scope of the work that Luke quoted was far superior. He also gave me solid advice about roof vents prior to the insulation work which was a lifesaver in regards to getting the heat down in my garage. I had to use over 10 different contractors for my fixer upper, and Luke was the only contractor that did exactly what he said he would do with prompt and clear communication with super polite and professional workers. I had a great experience working with Luke Hunter, I called him to help seal my attic so no dust would come into my home when I ran the A/C, and as well to do some soundproofing in the crawl space. Luke and his team did a knockout job on our project! We insulated our flat roof garage and did blown in insulation to retrofit a couple of existing walls. Their quote was clear and fair so we knew exactly what to expect. Luke is extremely knowledgeable and was able to recommend a system and game plan that delivered on results. The results were instant and they did a great job patching up the holes that were left. Aside from having to touch up the paint It’s not even noticeable. Luke was very quick to respond to any questions we had which in the world of construction isn’t always the norm. I interviewed 10 insulation contractors and instantly I knew Luke was the best. From the beginning his knowledge of insulation, the area, home building, and proper code was evident. Wall Insulation / Sound dampening. I have a (Yr. 1944) duplex with a shared wall, that had no wall insulation, Luke was able to pack in dense insulation that will be great for reducing heat in the summer and did make a noticeable difference in sound transmission through the shared wall. Not sound proof but very muffled and less intrusive into the other unit. Great guy to work with extremely professional did a great job explaining the job and setting expectations. I would highly recommend Hunter's Insulation!

I have uninsulated cathedral ceilings that make my place really hot and uncomfortable. A few people told me that they couldn't do anything about the insulation and I should just live with it. Until I found Luke. He was very responsive: he came right away, saw my house, and told me what he could do to help me out. He was honest and upfront about the what the work entails and clearly, he knows his stuff. He was available for me the whole time and working with him was very easy. He coordinated with my roofer so they could do the work on my house in an efficient and timely manner. I had the walls of my 1931 house insulated by Hunters Insulation. Luke, the owner, handled the quote and did the work himself. He was very professional, timely, thorough, and easy to talk to. The raised foundation, poor access, and funky house construction made the job harder, but Luke took his time to probe each hole, mapping out the local firebreaks, joists, and shear beams. He then carefully packed each bay by inserting the end of the hose into the wall and inching it out as the bay became compacted with insulation. His hard work and attention to detail was much appreciated and my house is more comfortable for it. Upon completion, he sealed each hole and offered his services to patch the holes as well. I highly recommend Hunters Insulation.

You cannot get better than Luke @ Hunters Insulation. Professional, knowledgeable and very thorough in his assessment. He gave an honest and accurate estimate with very competitive pricing. He went through all of the details and gave us other insulation tips. On project day, he and his co-worker were promptly and fully prepared. They worked efficiently and quickly. No smell, no dust, it wasn't even very loud :) When completed, everything was cleaned up perfectly! Luke took all the before and after pictures and even filled out the paperwork for the rebates for us. He pretty much took care of everything :) Now, for the insulation - I'm so glad it was done. We noticed a difference the very next day. The AC is not on nearly as much as it was prior. We'll see how it goes later in summer but, with what we've experienced so far, I expect to see a difference in my electric bill. I couldn't have asked for a better experience - he made the whole process so easy. Very highly recommended!
