We had a great experience with Mark, Jordan, and the team at Efficiency Revolution. They completed our whole-home energy audit, then insulated and air-sealed our attic, weather-stripped our door, and re-caulked our windows. The work was high quality, thoughtful, and clearly done with care. They took time to explain what would actually make a difference, answered questions without any pressure, and ran a very professional job site. They also helped us find and apply for Xcel rebates, which significantly reduced our overall cost and made the process easy. They were able to schedule appts at times convenient with my schedule, The techs showed up on time, they were respectful of my property, completed the work in timely manner and cleaned up afterwards. The rebate process couldn't have been easier; they filed them for me. I noticed a difference almost immediately; the house is much less drafty and holds the heat much better. I originally used Efficiency Revolution to complete an energy audit on my home prior to purchase. As part of the process, they provided a detailed efficiency report along with estimates for recommended upgrades to address the home’s deficiencies. The initial experience was very positive. They were professional, punctual, and the report was thorough and helpful. On December 15, I scheduled the upgrade work for January 9. After moving into the house, however, I ran into unexpected issues that required urgent attention, forcing me to reallocate the funds I had planned to use for the efficiency upgrades. As a result, I called on January 2, more than a week before the scheduled work, to cancel the appointment. During my first call, I was told there would be a $500 cancellation fee. This prompted me to review the contract I had signed, which only specifies a $120 fee for missed service or rescheduling within 48 hours. There is no mention of a cancellation fee. I called back to cancel the service, explaining that per the contract and the amount of notice provided, no fee was owed. Unfortunately, the representative I spoke with was very rude and seemed upset that I was relying on the terms of the contract they provided. It felt unprofessional and left a bad impression. I had intended to move forward with the recommended upgrades in the future, but based on this experience, I will likely seek services from a different company. I also felt the need to leave this review as proof I cancelled greater than 48 hours in advance of service.

Mark’s awesome! Had a mix up with another company and needed to get an energy audit done ASAP to be able to get rebate work done. Every other company told me two months out, Mark got me in 2 days later! Great communication throughout, crew was super professional, and got us our completed audit in a couple days. Would definitely work with him again.

Mark and his team at Efficiency Revolution are top-notch! They performed an energy audit on our home, then helped us install a Whole House Fan and improve our insulation rating across our attic and on top of our garage. It's all made a tremendous difference and lowered our cost of cooling dramatically over the summer, and we love getting the windows and doors open in the evening. On their many visits, the team was alway punctual and professional, and great communicators. After all was said and done, Mark helped us through the paperwork with Xcel for rebates, and provided detailed receipts for tax purposes. Cannot recommend enough!

Original estimator was prompt, helpful and professional. I rescheduled a few times and owner was incredibly understanding. The guys who did the installation of insulation were terrific and absolute pros. I would recommend this company without reservation.

I got 3 estimates for insulation services and Jared with Efficiency Revolution was by far and away the most thorough and he explained everything in great detail. The men that did the insulation work were very professional and personable. They went beyond the call of duty and located 2 leaks in the roof of my garage while in that attic and I wasn’t getting insulation work in the garage but they were in there to access a small area in the back of the house. (The bulk of their work was in the upstairs attic.). Without their inspection of the garage attic I would have not have known that the solar company did not install the shingles on my roof properly near the vents after installing my solar system until it was too late and something potentially disastrous occurred. Luckily, the solar installation company fixed everything promptly as soon as they were notified of the issue. I would recommend Efficiency Revolution enthusiastically to anyone who requires insulation work from an honest company with fair pricing! The owner Mark stopped by and was very nice and responsive.

Wow! I don't typically write reviews because I'm typically not that compelled based on my experience with contractors. I could not be happier with my experience with this company, from the energy audit, through the proposal process, and after the work was completed. They suggested that I do the biggest impact energy efficiency improvements, and their prices were very reasonable. They were very knowledgeable and informative, including the two guys doing the work, and they also help with submitting the rebates. Super helpful and easy, and now my home is a lot more energy efficient!

Efficiency Revolution 1st performed an energy audit of my home at my request. They made several recommendations on work that could be done to increase the energy efficiency, warmth, and cut down on the draftiness of my older home. Mark and his team installed a new whole house fan, sealed leaks in the attic and basement, and added insulation in the attic. The work resulted in enough improvement in the draftiness to qualify us for rebates from Xcel Energy. They were extremely patient when the job completion had to be delayed due to electrical issues that had to be resolved first. The job was completed professionally and everyone that worked on this job was polite and professional.

I couldn't be happier with my choice to hire Mark and make this energy investment in our home. I wish we would have contacted Mark before spending thousands on HVAC upgrades, thinking that would make our home more comfortable. As it turned out, we had lacking insulation in our attic and no insulation at all in our exterior walls. Mark presented us with several options and guided us toward the option that would have the most immediate impact and fit our budget. He filed all of the paperwork for the Xcel rebate. While Xcel took quite a while to process the rebate, it ended up being substantially more than I was expecting and certainly help offset the costs improving the insulation throughout our home. Before the improvements, the second level of our 2-story home was significantly hotter in the Summer or colder in the Winter, than the main floor. Now, we have consistent temps throughout the house and are seeing lower Xcel bills too. I just can't express enough how impressed we are by Mark and his team. We had them do our attic insulation about a month ago and now that it is starting to get into summer and warming up considerably, we are noticing just how much cooler the house is now compared to this time last year. We have no central A/C or swamp cooler, so we depend on window and free-standing fans to get by during the warmest parts of the year. However, last year when the interior of our home reached 96 degrees we agreed something must be done as that is not a livable situation. After getting quotes for swamp cooling and/or attic insulation, we decided just the attic insulation could suffice for our very small home. The first company we hired were not willing to honor their original quote for whatever strange reason we were not ever able to ascertain, so I looked into our neighborhood's NextDoor and found Efficiency Revolution was coming up often to rave reviews. Holy cow, I can totally see why! From the minute he walked through our door I knew Mark was going to be our guy. Calm, professional, EXCEEDINGLY knowledgeable, AND his prices were the most reasonable we had seen for this project thus far. Mark even files for the Xcel rebates for you! As a result we were able to add weather sealing to our back door and a much-needed bathroom fan for LESS than the total price of just the insulation quoted through the previous company (who came back and tried to get several hundred more dollars out of us after we hired them by the way. We're so glad we ran from that one!) Anyway, the entire experience was just wonderful, and we were provided a complimentary home energy audit which we were not expecting to boot. It was reassuring to us that Mark met the certification and best practice standards established by Xcel to conduct and perform the work associated with our audit. His thorough energy audit report and subsequent detailed proposal (along with photo references) set out key priorities we could pursue to maximize our home’s efficiency and outlined helpful maintenance tips we could implement on our own on a regular and/or annual basis. He was very patient with us in explaining some of the technicalities associated with an energy audit, as well as advising us on the pros and cons of various options we considered and discussed from his recommendations. Working within our budget, he helped us prioritize the tasks that would give us the biggest return on our investment. The work men and women were courteous and kept their work environment clean. We were pleased with the work and the resulting energy savings.

Mark and his team blew us away with their service. Our initial call for setting up an appt for a quote, the quote itself, the installation, and the final testing all went extremely smoothly and we cannot get over the difference the insulation in our attic, and air leak fixes have made on the efficiency of our A/C system. Mark got us to 46% improvement in air exchanges per hour in our house- making the difference between our brand new A/C running nonstop- to cycling on and off when it's hot and hardly coming on at all when the temp outside is under 85. His quote came in well under another company we called and he handled all of the Xcel energy rebate paperwork for us. My wife and I purchased a house two years ago in south Denver and while we were very happy with virtually everything about the home, we always noted how our upstairs was exceptionally cold in the winter and hot in the summer despite having central heating and air. Last summer, we replaced both our furnace and A/C with hopes that it would remedy the problem. It did help a bit, but not nearly as much as it should have, considering the cost of the upgrade. While our utility bills did decrease slightly due to having more efficient equipment, we still we not comfortable with climate of our home. We decided to call Mark at Efficiency Revolution for a consultation. From the moment we first spoke to him, we knew that this was the right choice for us. Mark worked with us to quickly find a convenient time to run some diagnostics regarding energy and our home. Pretty quickly he found some serious issues regarding insulation and airflow into the home. The entire time, he was very transparent in what he found and at the end he provided an incredibly thorough report for us to peruse and keep (to understand our house better). After the consultation he wrote a great proposal for us. He was willing to work with our budget and help us figure out what was not only affordable but what would give us the best bang for our buck. He also worked really hard to help us get some massive rebates from Xcel Energy for the all of the work we did to our home (which also really made this more affordable). When the work began, Mark and his partner Justin were extremely courteous and diligent in their efforts.
