Extremely professional! The 2 men both kept me informed throughout the inspection and were neatly dressed wearing bootie socks while walking on my carpet. This is the first time I have ever needed a pest control company and am confident I made the right choice!

01/26/2024 - I believe that I have a very good opinion on Orkin, based on the extent of the damage to my home, & my research.<br>By the time you notice termite activity, you've had them for a while. And did we have a LOT of visible activity!<br>We had "tubes" (they look a little like bamboo skewers) hanging from the ceiling over a foot long in rooms on either end of the house (plus pre-tube "bumps" in 4 other rooms), mud-looking tubes running up walls in 3 rooms, wall tubes on the outside of 3 sides of the house, we cracked open a log in the backyard that was filled with tunnels & many hundreds of termites, & every twig, stick, & branch surrounding our home had mud-looking tubes attached to them. We were quite literally infiltrated AND surrounded! The wee buggers were using the timber beams inside the walls & ceiling of our home as food AND transport to get from 1 room to the next. It. Was. BAD!<br>So after panicking for a little while, I Googled termite extermination & received (surprise!) a whole hell of a lot of returns. I picked the top 5 companies with good reviews & with notebook & pen, began making calls. Let me tell you, this was the anti-cool. All of these companies offer free inspections & a wide range of services & prices. What's a grossed out homeowner to do? I'll tell you what I did: made appointments for free inspections with all 5 companies.<br>Hanging out for 5 inspections in 2 weeks was yuck. And some of the inspectors were... pushy. Don't you come into MY house without wearing plastic booties over your stank shoes & try to coerce ME into a sale!<br>Anyhow, I gathered all of my information like what services they offered & how they proceeded with them, price, warranty, how well the inspector explained everything, how professional everything was presented, & if the inspector CAUGHT everything! You see, Orkin was the ONLY one who outlined ALL of the problem areas of my house. They brought in examples of bad baseboards, had a tablet that featured videos of termite activity & how their treatments worked. Orkin also has the longest warranty; they return every year for an inspection (they contact YOU & set up a good time). I think it's 6 years but, please ask them, it's been 3 years & I'm just now getting around to writing a review so I don't remember all the fine details.<br>If at any time during the years your home is under warranty you think you suspect termite activity, you can call Orkin to come out & check everything. And if during any of their inspections they actually do find activity, they resolve it at no charge to you, even if they have to drill into your driveway to inject treatment into the dirt underneath the foundation, then fill it & patch it. They use color matching grout & concrete for wherever they may have to drill.<br>Yes, some of the other companies will provide similar services to Orkin, but not all of them. And I just didn't trust companies that were trying to "give me a deal." I'm save where I can, like on my carpet or my floss picks. But when it comes to something that MATTERS, I don't mind paying well for the literal structure that surrounds me & my own, or contact lenses. NEVER buy some cheap, off brand, Halloween store contact lenses. ALWAYS go to an optometrist. You see, as an old friend once told me, "Never ₣**ᵏ with your eyes, you only have the one pair to last you." Very wise words. And I'd like to think if she were still around, she might also say, "Always pay top dollar for termite control, resale inspection is a ฿**₵﷼."<br>One more thing, kind of like a post script... I'm an ex graphic artist, but even as a child I used to collect food wrappers & magazine covers because I loved what I later came to know as 🌈MARKETING✨! I have to say that Orkin appeals to me because of a solid, recognizable logo, well maintained vehicles, clean uniforms, informed & presentable employees, & those samples & videos I mentioned above. They make themselves look good, like they CARE how they come across. And that MEANS something to me. Well, that & all the other stuff I've already talked about. 👍

Orkin always seems to raise prices for their services and they never tell you when it’s being raised. I have been an Orkin customer for over 15 years and not informing their customer of a price raise is not acceptable.<br>We as customers need to budget accordingly and hard to do without a notice<br><br>We will be cancelling unless we hear from management and try to adjust this issue

They say a 2 hr service witch is 25 min they are courteous but do not take much time

We have been very pleased with all services provided from the initial evaluation (Gavin) to the actual treatment of Mom our entire house outside and inside and the follow up visit very professional always very informative and very helpful. Michael did the termite treatment and then the follow up visit? He’s always very professional and takes the time to explain in detail the process.

We had a rat problem and Gunner was the technician that took care of the problem. He is very professional and courteous. He informed me of his arrival time and was very thorough with his diagnosis and treatment of the property to prevent any future problems.

I want to give Kudo's to Ryan, the technician who has been going above and beyond to get a serious cockroach infestation in my Mother's home under control. He is doing an amazing job and has gotten them down from swarming out of every drawer and cabinet, to only a few seen once in a while. He is hitting them with everything he's got and we appreciate him so much. Thank you Ryan, you are awesome.

Inspector did not inspect everything and was taking pictures of home without permission. Reason for appointment was yearly indoor outdoor inspection. Inspector’s priority of visit was to try to sell me something. Reason was clear when I got proposals for Pest control and insulation installation. Never discussed these proposals with me when he was there. Last two years inspection went smoothly and they inspected everything. No pictures. Very disappointed this time.

Gavin is a wonderful employee. He did the original spray to get rid of the termites and did a wonderful job. I haven’t seen any termites since. He also was the one to inspect it. U r very lucky to have such a wonderful employee with Orkin. I wish my employees were as efficient as him. His customer service is on point as well. Very satisfied with Orkin and recommend u guys to everyone I know.

First off very professional and friendly technician. Took his time as always and did a quality job! Last day for my Orkin professional Chris. Transferred to another state. At any rate will be hard to top the through and professional job he does. Service always 5 star+. Hopefully. the next tech I get will be just as good. Orkin has taken care of our home in another state as well as our current home. Never any complaints from us.

Called to get an appointment for an inspection. Gave my information and was told someone would call within 24 hours. 5 days later still no call. Apparently I need to find a different company.

Month after month Jacob keeps our home pest free. He is professional , knowledgeable and always willing to do what is necessary on the service call.

I can honestly say I was iffy at first due to phone customer service being so rude but when Jacob came out he really put my mind at ease. He was very personal and explained everything in detail. I highly recommend him!

Helpful and friendly, came out same day. Guy went over what he was gonna do and kept me up on what he found. I'm excited for the possibility of not having wasps sneak their way in, especially when they don't help with rent at all.

Orkin has been great. They take control of any bugs and come out between service if needed. My only complaint is it depends on the tech you get, sometimes communication is not great. But most of the techs have been communicative and very knowledgeable.

We Had Termites, years ago. Orkin had the best plan and a reasonable price. They executed it and we have not had termites again. All of the Orkin folks have been friendly and polite. Always happy to answer questions and stop by to address anything they can’t fix over the phone.

0 out of 0 stars.<br><br>Apparently I signed up for a $99 semi-monthly service.<br><br>Got a call that I was past due. I explained to Orkin (Denise) that I never signed up for anything. That I only agreed to the initial service.<br><br>Denise told me she would send me the agreement but that if I didn’t pay it would go to collections.<br><br>I received the agreement I apparently signed and low and behold it’s not even my signature.<br><br>I called Orkin back to get an explanation and get transferred to a manager by the name of Daryl.<br><br>I explained how I initially signed up for service and how Orkin laid traps and sprayed but that I was told it was in the initial $200 cost.<br><br>I explained the signature that came over wasn’t mine. He suggested I was lying and said that Orkin isn’t in the habit of forging signatures and that someone in my house must have done it.<br><br>I explained to him that if it wasn’t mine nor my husbands who else could it be? I also explained that anytime Orkin is here they aren’t in my house or property for more than 15 minutes. He said that they have GPS and that it shows otherwise. He said they would cancel my service, remove the $99 charge and no one from Orkin would ever come to my house again. After that he hung up on me.<br><br>Unless you want to be called a liar and have someone forge your signature for service you didn’t agree too, DON’T use Orkin.<br><br>I’ll definitely be filing a police report.

Our technician was efficient, pleasant, informative and unobtrusive! He checked the property, then treated an active area by the least invasive means available for now. A professional visit, as always.

Jacob came out today for our first gopher treatment. He did a great job. It has only been a couple of hours and the trap already went off.

Raymond was the technician and he was so client focused on making sure he met all of your needs. Raymond went above and beyond. I will recommend him every time I need help with insects. Orkin is an excellent company.

Orkin does great work. They are always thorough, polite and considerate of my property. The mosquito pots are amazing in preventing mosquito infestations. I live on a waterway and can actually go outside in the morning and evenings with minimal issues. I have never seen a spider since I moved in which is amazing considering my water location. I recommend Orkin to my clients all the time.

Orkin was called in to address a severe gnat issue at our home. After several visits, the gnat infestation issue ceased. Gunnar Olsen was our technician and he was great. Kind, courteous, competent and professional. If we need to have Orkin back at our home, we will specifically request Gunnar.

Ashley was able to arrive about a hour earlier than originally scheduled. She was incredibly friendly, helpful, and attentive to my wife and my concerns regarding our recent pest problem. She was clear and concise with explaining or plan, and even informed me that we received a $50 discount on our first treatment. 10/10 service, and I hope we're lucky enough to have Ashley each time we have an appointment.

Gunnar is always on top of it. Personal and great to talk to. Seems knowledgeable, and is always asking how things are with the property and bugs since last time. Asks what I have noticed and if need any specific areas looked at. Appreciate all they do. Orkin comes every other month to spray for bugs/insects ants etc. never finding bugs or anything in the house.

He is warm but professional, knowledgeable, diligent & conscientious, thorough, and communicative. I occasionally hear him whistle while he works, and I love it, a man happy at his work! My experience was terrible. Would NOT recommend. Apparently they’re scared of doing their job, had a “tech” come to my house, told him the issues and neither issue was taken care of. Also he left without saying a word to me, so yeah if you have any type of rodent problem.. DO NOT call orkin. I also tried calling the company to figure out what was going on, and I can only leave a message. This is the second time I’ve called the company and had to leave a voicemail, the first time no one ever reached out to me and I had to take care of the issue myself. I cannot say enough how no one should be calling this company whatsoever.

We had Orkin come to start treatment on our home today, Gunner was our technician! He came in asked me some questions about my ongoing problems and once we walked the house he got right to work! Contacted them for a bed bug inspection, bee removal, and general pest control, they were very thorough and knowledgeable. UPDATE: We have been critter free for a few years now. I am still glad we called. Orkin makes it out to service our home and yard regularly. We have not had a single issue! They have great service and they are there when you really need them!<br><br>We had to call when critters started populating in our brand new home. They have been great. We have the problem under control and they come out whenever there is any signs of a problem. I'm glad we called!

Our regular technician Anthony was here today for our by-monthly treatment. He is always very polite and thorough treating our property. Anthony knows scorpions are biggest concern and he always focus’s on this treatment and checks we have not seen any. Anytime we speak with the office staff, they are also very responsive and helpful. I would recommend Orkin without hesitation.

Orkin is convenient and communicates well for their services. I have been using them for about a year and have helped me out a lot with roaches and other bugs. The technician Jaden is super nice and thorough.

Orkin sent out Anthony and he was very nice and awesome. He addressed all of my issues and concerns about different types of pest I should be aware of. He was very kind and respectful to me, my wife and dogs. He took care of all the cob webs and spiders around my house. Very positive experience with Orkin since signing up for needed service. Customer services, field reps & the service technicians have been outstanding. Very detailed teamed systematic application process, with very well trained professional field techs who are also helpful & informative answering all your questions. A year later (already), was pleasantly surprised when one of the initial 1st visit field techs showed up for annual inspection, started & completed inspection, and took the time to explain the process & answering any questions I had regarding future service-s. Field tech takes pride in his work, was friendly & professional, making one feel unrushed. Job well done by tech (Gavin) from initial & present visit, & great services by Orkin.

I love my Orkin guy, he knows that best times to come to the house - even if the office schedules him at a different time, he will still come at the time he knows that works best for my family's schedule. He is always friendly and polite and respectful.

I would prefer in the future that you call me and set up my appointments. I never got an email because you had 2 of them on file and message sent to wrong address. Today was a total shock to me and I do not like it. Your service as far as termite manage is great! Let's do a better job of contacting me in the future. I wasn't home and my daughter had to stop working to help him out.

I love the customer service and overall service I receive from Orkin. They are very communicative and let me know ahead of scheduled date and arrival time and are always prompt. Before we had a lot of scorpions and spiders and once they started spraying haven't had any issues! Our Tech is the nicest guy and friendly. If I have any questions or concerns on specific areas he will make sure to double check and spray those areas.

I was about to be a new customer. The lady on the phone lied to me about there being no contract. She said there is a service agreement that is allowed to be cancelled with 30 days which sounded ok. The tech shows up and immediately tries to get me to sign something. I start reading it and it says it's a 12 month contract! The lady on the phone lied, and they refused to honor what they told me. I specifically asked if there was a contract, and the lady on the phone said no! Then they tried to offer me a case by case contract which was double the price. The poor tech that arrived tried his best with my request for them to honor what they say.<br>Pest control companies are often great at first and then service/chemicals decline, therefore I'm not signing a contract. If they were that confident in their product, they would have not required me to sign anything. The service manager was non-negotiable. Honor what you tell your customers!

William (Bill) was really nice and had great knowledge of the treatment I needed. He was patient and very respectfull. The techs that came out to do the job were also great! I will recommend them anytime! Thanks! 😁

They came in early and started working right away and have done a very good and thorough job. After they were done Michael explained to me what they did and told me that if I have any questions or concerns to give him a call. Highly recommend for the job well done.

I've had some negative experiences recently with other contractors of various types, but everyone we have worked with at Orkin has done a fantastic job, has gone above and beyond our expectations, and was so kind and respectful the entire way. We were impressed with their professionalism and the ability to come out and do a thorough job. It was also impressive to see all the work that was done. Afterwards they did their job so well things were put cleaned up and patched you couldn't even tell they were here. The additional traps are put in and covered over so you don't even see them. The Branch Service Manager came out to make sure everything went well and to do an inspection.

I have had Orkin for 7 years now and have been very happy with their service. We had an issue with German roaches (we think from a grocery pickup) and they were totally ON it. I am very appreciative as I hear they get out of control very very quickly. Although our issue was on the mild side, I cannot even imagine how I would feel if they had been worse. :/. Do not hesitate to use this company. I have liked all the technicians that have been out in the last 7 years and I believe we have only had 3 in that time period as they try to keep your same tech with you. I love that! Also, I had a tortoise who grazed in the backyard and they accommodated him by not putting granules down and doing some extra spraying. We do not have issues with bugs. Thanks you Orkin!

I absolutely LOVE Brandon who is our service technician! He’s very knowledgeable, professional and very kind. He’s even gone out of his way to come back to our residence on the same day when he didn’t have to.<br>The only issue is with the scheduling department. When you are originally given a day/time, usually with a 2 hour window, often times it will get move/or rescheduled with your knowledge. I’m not a fan of that but otherwise, the service is great!

I googled Orkin as my old neighbors had used them and spoke highly of their experience. Now I know why. Within 24 hours they were at my home and did a great job. The technician was prompt, professional and very respectful. He sat down to review and explain everything prior to getting started. Great service! Highly recommend Orkin!

The service was wonderful and the 2 guys a pleasure to have in our home.<br>They did a thorough inspection with notes and discussed the course of action that would be taken.<br>Also, they were very willing to help move the heavy furniture, clean up as they worked and assist us with putting the furniture back in place.<br>All in all I would recommend Orkin and applaud the service we received.

He always works with me on a time to come that's convenient for me due to my varied work schedule. Hes always very thorough on what hes doing and always prompt...arriving when he says he will.
