Jake C is great. He calls to give me an ETA of when he is arriving, and has waited for me He is friendly, without being too chatty/inefficient. He lets me know as much as I want to know about all things rodents!

Jake is always fantastic when he comes over to handle any rodent issues. Very thorough polite Safe Haven‘s lucky to have him.

Safehaven Pest Control was easy to work with regarding a squirrel inhabiting in our attic. Jake was courteous and installed a one way gate so the squirrel couldn’t re-enter the attic.

Darren is the best, he helped me without complaint while servicing a neighbors house. Very professional, well dressed, and a pleasure to interact with.

What I thought might be carpenter ants turned out to be just that, so I called multiple pest control companies. Most of them wanted me to sign up for a treatment plan before even inspecting. This company was the only one willing to come out and inspect first without pushing a plan. After the technician checked everything, he told me that since I had already sprayed the affected area, I didn’t need any treatment. I really appreciate their honesty and professionalism — they earned my trust!

Jake has assisted with pests in our attic. He performs thorough routine checks and makes modifications as needed to ensure that we no longer have anything living in the attic. Thank you for your patience and assistance with this issue.

A bunch of horribly trained “professionals” is the best way I can describe this company. Mosquito sprays will slip right off the leaves because the techs over blow the foliage. Services cancelled with false promises for call back, and much more I can go on about. I’m confident these guys weren’t trained for longer than 4 weeks maximum. I’ve seen technicians speed through treatments in 15 minutes for large properties. Too much money for such poor quality work. Oh yeah if you have wasp nests, go ahead and remove them yourself. These guys will miss them 4/5 times. Management really needs an overhaul when it comes to their process for ensuring quality. Do not and I repeat, DO NOT use these guys! They promise a reduction in bugs, but they might as well cuddle up with the critters and sing by a campfire! However, you insist on using these guys, at least ask the techs to present their license and say how long they’ve been treating innocent people’s homes. Customers deserve quality not TRASH!

We had persistent rodent problems in our attic for several months. We tried to resolve it on our own but we couldn’t, so we called SafeHaven. Their communication and service is excellent, and they have eliminated our pesky rodents! Highly recommended

Very pleased with Safehaven service. Rodent expert Jake explained a lot about the problem I had, rats. With their help we caught 3 rats. They had to make repeat visits to make sure the problem was solved, which was the kind of service I expected. All the other technicians were great, especially Troy. Worth the money.

I called Safe Haven to get rid of some critter we heard in the wall and in the attic. It was squirrels. They came out and determined that it was squirrels and put traps in the attic in case we had mice or rats. They put flashing to block the are where the squirrels were coming in. They also put in a one way trap door so any critter would be able to go out but not come back in. Later they will treat attic with a cleaner that removes the scent of any pheromones. They painted the flashing to match the siding on my house. Nice job. Nice honest people.

Do not use this company for pest control services. Their technicians are not knowledgeable, will show up unannounced (not when scheduled), and anytime there is a “scheduled appointment” it is ALWAYS cancelled. They will continuously lie about EVERYTHING. Callbacks from management are never returned. This company is unorganized and not sufficient with their procedures. Not worth the hassle!

EDIT: My review from four months ago is below. This review is for service received this week. I made it a point to greet the technician outside to confirm my gates were unlocked. The technician said nothing to me, nor did he ask any questions. I watched as he walked around the house. He did attempt to clear the eaves of cobwebs, but it certainly wasn't done completely in the most obvious place (back porch). He then walked around with a sprayer. I have no idea what he covered if anything but he 'looked' very lazy about it. It was a great contrast to the first visit.<br><br>(This was our first visit. The technician did a great job explaining what he treated around the house and yard as well as what to expect in future visits. Very satisfied.)

Great and attentive customer service. If you’re not satisfied, they will come back until the job is complete. I’ve worked with almost all of their staff but Troy is especially knowledgeable and I’m grateful for his service!

Very very inconsistent service from these folks. We got a weekly mosquito spray service from them and sometimes I get a diligent and thorough person who shows up and spends time on my garden and back yard, and sometimes I get someone who spends two minutes and jets off. Person today didn’t call to let me know they were on their way…just faintly knocked on my door. Barely even heard him. He said my customer profile said “not to call”. I NEVER stated that… no idea where that comes from. I always have gotten calls when they’re en route. That’s been the one good thing about them. Again, inconsistent today. And don’t bother trying to reach these people by phone. 9 times out of 10, no one answers and you just get an annoying jingle message that plays endlessly on loop. A unique form of torture.<br><br>You’re rolling the dice each time you use these people. Best of luck to you.

Jake was very knowledgeable and helpful. Took care of some wasps in my porch light and spoke to me about the bundles that Safehaven offers. Very satisfied.

Jake was excellent. On time, friendly, and professional. He showed me photos of the decades of rat trails on the plumbing under my house leading to the holes he sealed up, but I wish I had photos of the sealed-up plumbing so I can identify the damage when critters continue trying to get through the same entry points.

These guys are the best! I don't know what I would do without them. They are very professional, they call before showing up, and show up at the time they've indicated. Since they've started servicing my house, I have had no issues with bugs or rodents. They have a customer for life. :-)

I have been a client of SafeHaven Pest Control for several years and have always been pleased with their service. Their people are always friendly, knowledgeable and very willing to accommodate any requests.

We moved to McKinney in August 2022 and found SafeHaven after reading reviews. They did an initial exterior inspection/treatment and a rodent extermination of our attic (although we didn't have rodents, they cleaned it and sealed it). Seems rodents can be an issue here compared to where we moved from. They continue with the quarterly exterior treatments and our attic is still rodent free! The techs are always on time, professional, and explain what they did. We are very satisfied.

I NEVER leave company reviews but this was so impressive I had to! It doesn't get any better! Jake did an amazing and thorough job inside and out, mopped out webs and wasp nests under eaves. He went the extra step to refill bait traps too. His professionalism and courtesy so refreshing! Appreciate the boot covers he put on before entering! Kudos for training your people so well!

After unexpectedly having to change to a new company when my old one went out of business, I feel very lucky to have found Safehaven Pest Control. The<br>exterminator who came out explained all the available treatments, was very respectful and careful around my new baby, was super thorough (she even knocked down all the spider webs on my patio-I've never seen an exterminator do that) and they offer green/organic options for everything if desired. And did I mention that a week later, this came in the mail! Now THAT'S good customer service. Oh and all the bugs are gone. Can't recommend enough.

I called on a Thursday morning with a major ant problem. Talked with Theresa, who is very professional, patient, and kind. She had an appointment set up for Saturday! Jason was my technician and was fabulous! He was courteous and professional. And, he was able to come earlier than my time was scheduled! He took the time to explain what was the problem and how he would treat it. I highly recommend this company. If you’re still looking, don’t. You won’t be disappointed.

The tech that came out was really nice and informative. On the other hand I have yet to receive and invoice of services, or a receipt of payment eventhough I have been charged. When I asked the tech about a followup he said I would be contacted be the company. All I have received is surveys.

We use SafeHaven Pest Control for quarterly pest control services. They quickly replied to my request for initial service and sent a technician out within a week. I was recommended a couple plan options based off my needs. I appreciated that they did not try to push the more expensive option on me. The mosquitos were particularly bad in our backyard/neighborhood when we moved in in June and I inquired about their mosquito extermination plan. I was informed about my options, but they didn't recommend the more involved ($$) extermination plan since we were halfway through the season already.<br>Unlike other pest services I've used, they charge a monthly fee so it's a lighter dent on your wallet for the annual dues :)

Good pest control service. Technicians are courteous and efficient. They are willing to accommodate special requests and have been good at setting up and completing regular service. The service is 3 times per year rather than the more common 4 times per year. After almost 1 year with them, I have been satisfied with the service. Technicians have been especially good.

Safe Haeven is very responsive, professional, and have excellent technicians and customer service staff. They took care of our rodent infestation, and we are using them for seasonal mosquito and overall pest control services.

Safehaven is great. Totally professional. I signed up for one of the bundle plans and they come out every few months. I have been very pleased with the results. I'm not seeing too many critters and the few times I noticed some bugs in the house during the summer, I called them and got an actual live person on the other end who was genuinely concerned. They sent someone out next day and there was no charge. Highly recommend!

I have always been pleased with SafeHaven and the work they have done for me. They took care of a carpenter ant problem as well as many other things. I am writing this review though because of the exceptional above and beyond service they just gave. I had a mechanic's creeper in my driveway that my kids were playing with and left out. The service technician ran over it on accident (something for which I do not fault her for!). Before I ever got home, she had already texted me her apologies and they had ordered me a new one that arrived at my house the next day! Everybody makes mistakes and companies that fix mistakes (even though it wasn't their fault) are a rare find. But EVEN MORE RARE is a company that fixes mistakes without you even having to ask them. Obviously they are top notch from management all the way down to their front line workers.

Great company with even better employees who truly do care, are attentive, and offer solutions that WORK!!!!!<br><br>We had a problem with pest from a neighboring company whos trash brings in pest of all sorts. They found our building to be a great place to hang out which is bad for business. We needed a solution that was going to work.<br><br>We were advised that it would take some time but that results would happen. Now a few months later and the results are in. No more pest. I haven't seen one in weeks if not months and perfectly ok with it.<br><br>SafeHaven came in, inspected, offered a solution, and went to work. Thanks to John for pointing out the things we needed to do, Judy for recommending a great company, and the rest of the crew for helping our business to be successful.

Safe haven did an excellent job exterminating our property. They were very responsive getting an appointment scheduled quickly to take care of our issues. We are on a quarterly maintenance schedule with them now and very pleased.

Their service is very expensive for such little they actually do. I'm paying about $70 a month for them to come out quarterly (contract plan). I've been quoted around $50-$65 per visit by other smaller pest control companies but I fell into that thought of peace of mind by going with Safe Haven. You'd think the charging would end there but they will add extra costs to everything they could itemize including things that they should already be doing. The last two visits they failed to remove the wasp nests in the back. I took that on my fault for not being there to tell the service person. I messaged them again and now they want to up charge me already for a scheduled service for them to come out a second time. I was really impressed when talking to the serviceman who came out the first time because he really knew his stuff but dealing with the business side seems to only care about the money. They're already one of the most expensive in the area. It's a smart business model to make money and grow but Safe Haven is no longer consumer friendly. I would recommend this service to my enemies and people who like paying extra.

We received our first service this week. I was very impressed with the electronic confirmation, followed by a personal call from the technician when he was close. He was friendly, efficient, and he seemed very thorough. I highly recommend this company!

I literally just used Safe Haven a day ago for ants. They were super nice and came out the next day. They have multiple tier programs which allow you to pay a monthly charge for the year instead of one giant charge up front. Plans include rodents in the higher plans and include tri-annual and quarterly treatments. Its a year long contract with easy monthly payments. The day after they treated i had all the dead ants all over my house and I've definitely tried store bought pesticides because I'm frugal but professional pest control 100% pays for itself.

Safe Haven is a life saver. We have tried every (and I mean EVERY) mosquito solution out there, and not until we started Safe Haven’s mosquito program had we been able to be in the yard, or open our doors without fear. They are true professionals, and respond personally to any issue you encounter. They deal with our ants, spiders, and wasps, as well as managing the ever-present rodent population in our area. I can’t imagine doing business with any other company.

I started using them several years ago when I had rats and squirrels in my attic following the Spring Creek Parkway widening project near my home. I've continued with their exclusion policy ever since and have been very happy with service. In all these years there's been once or twice another critter got in and they honored the exclusion policy immediately and with no hassles whatsoever. Great service & followup every time.

After hearing noises in the attic, we contacted Safe Haven. We've used them in the past for a wasp problem and found them to be very professional and knowledgeable.<br><br>Liz came out and checked the attic for us. She took pictures to show us what she found and explained what could be done regarding the roof rat problem.<br><br>She went over everything and answered all our questions. We’ve had SafeHaven for about a year now and we are very satisfied. Their treatments are natural so I don’t have to worry about my kids. I wish we had switched to SafeHaven sooner, but I always thought natural options were going to be more expensive than we can afford. But it turns out they’re pricing is very competitive.<br><br>Most of the treatments they do are outside the home, so it’s even better. Whenever we’ve had pest issues in between regularly scheduled services, they come out to the house and take care of it as part of our annual service. They come on time and are very courteous. I switched to Safehaven Pest Control this year and am so happy with the excellent customer service I've received! Michael, Holly, and the techs are all fantastic! I had a roach problem and the tech went all over the house and told me the things I could do on my own to help prevent them from coming back. The owner went on my roof as a favor and sent me a video to confirm that I had something in my chimney, which turned out to be a family of raccoons, and then connected me to a company who could replace the chimney cap. These guys are the best in town and I highly recommend using them!

On the first visit to our home the technician saw our infant daughter and mentioned that, while the treatment was completely safe, he was going to treat the exterior only for our piece of mind. If that didn't work we could call and he would come right back and treat the interior as well at their cost. While unnecessary, the genuine care meant a lot to us.
