I wish I could rate 0. Andrew came out to assess my foundation and address the joist issue causing sag in the floors of my house. After he said the pier system would work and resolve the sag, I went ahead and scheduled installation. He showed me the one inch dip in the worst spots and assured me the entire house would be fixed. I was advised the crew would be here 6-8hrs. They were done in less than 4. The floor was still sagging. I showed the crew before they left. They were both sick while working. I only got to see a few blurry shots of the pier setup.<br><br>I texted my dismay to Andrew. He assured me that a crew would come out with a supervisor. They came out. They told me that no, I would need whole house spans to correct the issue. Okay, why wasn't that told to me? I spent $6600 on a pier system that hasn't fixed my problem.<br><br>They again assured me that they would be in touch with a game plan that day with a call from a supervisor. Thus far, I've been waiting over two weeks.<br><br>I feel awful. I wanted to start 2026 with checking off house repairs and feeling pretty heartbroken about the whole thing.

I now have two positive experiences with Aquaguard completing projects at my mother's home, giving us both peace of mind that her home will continue to be safe and healthy to live in for years to come.<br><br>The first was the replacement of a collapsing concrete-block support beam in the crawlspace with steel support piers, eliminating sagging floors and sticking doors in the house above.<br><br>At the same time, they installed a drainage solution in the crawlspace to address groundwater that was entering through the porous block-wall foundation.<br><br>The most recent project was a crawlspace encapsulation done 2-6-26 to address ongoing mold growth that comes with an unsealed dirt crawlspace. Because of my mother's asthma, triggered by mold and mildew, this project should improve the air quality in the house and allow her to breathe easy all year.<br><br>Thank you to the Eastpoint crew that completed the encapsulation. Kevin, the foreman, communicated both before, during, and after the work to keep us informed of what to expect. Kevin, Curtis, and Kavon worked quickly and were very courteous as I observed their work briefly mid-project, and especially when making sure any questions my mother or I had throughout were answered. The efficiency of those three guys, and the amount of work they completed in the few hours it took them, was remarkable.<br><br>I wouldn't hesitate to recommend AquaGuard to friends or family in the future.

Honestly is the best policy!!! I was scheduled for a floor support installation which means installing 4 support jacks beneath my bathroom floor. The day of the installation, Aqua Basement System foreman stop project and advise to consider replacing the entire bathroom floor inorder to fix the problem and not proceed with installing the support jack. I was shocked and appreciated by the professionalism of "doing the job right". The point is that he could have taken my money and proceeded with the plan but to the respect of the company's integrity and the loyalty to great customer service. He had chosen honesty. I appreciate the support Aqua Basment system provided during this process.

We had 7 slab piers installed in our basement. Our estimate was prepared by Darrius and our work crew was Mason and Mason. I feel like fantastic is an understatement for our experience. Darrius was very patient and always reachable for questions. Mason and Mason were our work crew and they were as good as it gets. They completed the entire job in 1 day without causing any damage at all to my home and left the carpet in great shape and ready to easily put back down on the tack strips. They were on time and clearly communicated everything to me and left my basement just as clean as they found it.

Edit: owners canned response below is yet another example of their shadiness. They are well aware of who I am, I have the emails to prove it!!<br><br>Over $10K wasted on a low quality job– buyer beware! Meanwhile, mgmt has smooth talked and passed us from person to person with no true accountability or offer of compensation. Here’s how our job went:<br><br>1. We were sold an exterior foundation support solution that I'm still unsure is appropriate for the interior settling that caused us to call in the first place. When estimator JD came out, we showed him our observations (door frames askew, wall cracks) and were sold helical piers. We discussed how an interior lift is not possible due to the basement being filled in but were assured by JD that helical piers would still be appropriate for our concerns.<br>2. On day 1, the crew no called no showed. We had to reach out to reschedule.<br>3. Crew installed push piers instead of the quoted helical piers. We were not told this UNTIL we pressed for an explanation mid-job and then were told that the type of pier doesn't matter, costs are the same and they do the same job. Unprofessional and shady.<br>4. Crew busted a pipe while digging and when I asked to have a 3rd party plumber document the break and repair, they ignored and did it themselves. A year later, we had a massive water leak and the plumber that came out had to replace the entire piece of pipe that was originally poorly repaired.<br>5. Crew did not complete interior benchmarking. We were told foreman Jeremy would do it and he didn't. I got Craig the supervisor on the phone, who assured me the foreman was going to do it before leaving the job. Final day comes and I see him walk out without doing them! So my husband has to remind him. He has a bad attitude, doesn't use a laser, scribbles some half ass numbers on a sheet of paper and leaves. I call Craig again who admits the foreman went explicitly against his instructions and “would be disciplined” and then personally had to come out with a laser to do it right. It was LIKE PULLING TEETH to get this basic action delivered as promised.<br>6. Finally, the crew did not complete proper exterior benchmarking. From the start, Craig said measurements would be in our "customer portal" and would send me the access details. Never got them. We didn't get ANY documentation until almost a year later when we were contacted by AG to do 1 yr benchmarking and I had to remind them that we still didn't have the original measurements! They then inform us the mysterious customer portal is not really functional and end up sending an email with a bunch of unorganized photo links but no file that showed us the exterior measurements. Finally sr mgr Efrain and head of ops Kyle say that an exterior benchmark log doesn't exist and that the crew uses a laser line to put in the rivets across the perimeter of the house, so there are no measurements needed to reference the elevation of each rivet relative to each other. This was despite both Craig and Efrain previously confirming those measurements existed and that they just had to find them in the portal for me. Fast forward to the 1 yr benchmarks and we find out that the rivets were in fact NOT at all placed on a level line. For example, relative to the rivet placed on the SE corner, the next rivet to the west was 1/4" higher, the next rivet was 1.5" lower, the ones on the SW part of the house were 7 to 7.5" off). Most importantly, NONE of these differences were documented, so there is absolutely no way of knowing 1 yr after install if any additional settling has occurred. In fact, the tech had to put in several additional rivets laterally across the perimeter, re-mark existing rivets, and document relative elevations of the rivets in order to enable checking for incremental movement another year from now. (read: they finally did what they should have and needed to do a year ago!!) This appt was a week ago and I've gotten no indication from mgmt that they are going to acknowledge and address this clear evidence of a very poorly executed project.

I really can't say enough about the terrific job that Kevin, Curtis and Xavier did on our crawl space. They called both days to advise they were on their way. The job took 1-1/2 days. They kept us informed of the process all along the way and sent us several pictures showing the area as our crawl space is very narrow. At the end of day one, the work area was completely clean and the old plastic barrier along with the trash that had been left there removed.<br><br>At the end of the job, Kevin explained everything in detail, went over the dehumidifier, how often it would run and told us we could store stuff down there now if we wanted to.<br><br>We highly recommend Aqua Guard, yes it's a lot of money but well worth it and the peace of mind it provides and the fresh air!

I chose AquaGuard to enclose my standing crawlspace and I am completely pleased with my decision. Their price was slightly higher but they handled everything including the electrical. I like the idea of using a well-known, established business for the warranty as I consider this an investment. They are focused on quality and customer satisfaction. They carefully removed everything I was storing (lawn equipment etc) and replaced it once the job was finished. The musty odor from humidity is completely gone. They sent inspectors to check the installers work. They followed up immediately to ensure I was 100% satisfied. The musty odor from humidity is completely gone. I feel as though I have added square footage to my home as I can now use the crawlspace to store holiday decoration without worry of moisture damage. I previously had concerns about what this company did for me and why another project wasn’t done first. Zyan Avant set way better expectations for me in what getting a job done means more than the original sales guy who came out. Michael Dever did a fantastic job. He removed the filter, cleaned and replaced. He cleaned out the water reservoir. And he took care of the E6 error code by replacing a wire.

I may not have given a 5 star review originally but the way that Frankie [ field supervisor ] came out and saw, understood and agreed with our concerns about our initial install was exactly what we had expected from Aquaguard. He acted quickly and had [what I like to call them] the dream team come out and fix our concerns on the next business day. The 3 man crew of Jose, Sho and Jay went above and beyond to make us happy. They were respectful and they communicated how they were going to address the situation. When they finished the work we truly felt like the job was done correctly and are pleased. Where do I start…from the first visit to the last day of poly the experience was amazing! Darrius and Parker came and explained everything, showed me examples and mature sure I understood the problem and how it was to be fixed. They showed videos and examples. They advised of expectations (which were exceeded). I advised of my budget and they made it happen. Parker kept me up to date on the process and made calls for reminders. Great job on the encapsulation of my crawl space by Jose Odalis Alvarado and his team, they cleaned up the area and when I had some water leakage, they quickly arrived the next day and rectified the situation. A true test of customer service is, response if there is a problem and these folks did a great job. Jose kept me posted on arrivals and work progress and showed me what they did to correct the problem. Well done!

Aquaguard East Point did an amazing job on my crawl space. Had it encapsulated and a dehumidifier installed last week. Today Big Money Mike and Frank The Tank came to my home to look at my basement and pool decking. They were both extremely professional, asked me what my issue were and what my expectations may be. I left them to do their work. About 1 1/2 hours later they were finished with their assessment of my situations (damp basement sinking concrete around swimming pool ). We met in the kitchen and they went over their solution and answered all my questions and addressed all my concerns. I had water intrusion in my 1950's crawl space and Aquaguard provided me with professional lifetime warranty on my encapsulation and perimeter drain, pump, dehumidifier and new door to crawl space. The Installation Crew Led by Jose Alvarado along with Corey and Nick were above and beyond amazing. They found a big issue that was another hidden water intrusion area and included that in my installation. They worked efficiently, professionally and answered all my questions. This is hard and very important work! Very grateful to the team! Mike Dever my sales person has been also amazing in the process. I recommend highly.

Michael Dever did a GREAT job! He was prompt, courteous & thorough. He realized the pop-up from my sump pump was no longer visible & investigated to uncover it to make sure it's working properly. Darrius was great! I didn't know what to expect before he arrived because foundation repairs can sometimes be very expensive. However, he presented a very cost effective solution and was very thorough in his explanation. Not only that, but he immediately emailed me the estimate shortly after arrived home. Chris and Chris done an amazing job. The weather was rain and more rain never heard anything out of these guys just work in progress. Pictures looked great and they even took time to explain about the pictures about the reason for how and why process was done certain ways where the drain was placed and the system that runs under home. I was visited today by Mike and Matt, two very personable and professional aqua guard employees. They came to service my aqua guard, water removal system, found some mold underneath the house, presented it to me in a series of photographs, and by the time they left, I had purchased a crawlspace encapsulation system. In no way did I feel pressured as from a pressured salesman, But their professional attitude and expertise easily convinced me of the need for the encapsulation system. Hats off to Mike and Matt and Aqua guard!

I’m more than pleased with what AquaGuard was able to do with my brick front steps. Joseph, Brondon, and Hector were very professional, extremely polite and informative about what they were going to be doing. This after picture doesn’t capture very well what the guys were able to do but it shows how large the steps are and gives an idea of the extreme weight of them. The steps had settled/tilted away from the porch several inches and the mortar stuck between the steps and the wall and was pulling the wall with it, causing cracks in the brick wall and top brick border on the porch edge to kick up. I was worried a very pricey full tear out and rebuild was necessary. The guys lifted the steps up and back towards the house and the porch wall went back straight and the cracks closed up. In addition, the pillars will keep the steps in place and avoid future settling. I highly recommend AquaGuard. Thanks guys!!!!

These guys were awesome! Mike K and Jeremy L did an amazing job. My concrete was in pretty bad shape. They got it up level and took care of the cracks. Highly recommend this crew for sure!

We had water in our crawl space that ended being a clogged condensation pump. Michael Dever came out and not only fixed the problem, but he cleaned up the icky water! Great job!

Crawlspace encapsulation still looks good after 4 years. Definitely keeps the water out. I had a plumbing pipe from my kitchen that went beneath the encapsulation crack so it started getting stinky. I thought it was an AquaGuard issue so they came out and confirmed the issue was separate from the encapsulation so I contacted a plumber that replaced the pipe. The great part was that AquaGuard noticed something they could improve and sent a team out to make sure the system was functioning at its best (Free of Charge!). Basically they re-dug the trenches for the drainage beneath the encapsulation connected to the sump pump that keeps my crawl space water free.

Update August 1, 2024<br>I was contacted by Aquaguard and they immediately began working to address my concerns with our project. I am changing my review from 2 stars to 5 stars because they remedied the original work and our pool deck now looks like we expected it to! I appreciate Aquaguard backing their work and making it right. Our pool deck is nice and level and the cracks have been greatly reduced. I feel the job was done right the second time around. Thank you!<br><br>Original Post:<br>While the people have been very nice there was a huge gap between what the salesman promised and sold us on and what they were actually able to achieve. He told us while our pool deck would have cracks only we would know they are there. It would be nice and level and there was no need to waste our money getting new concrete.<br><br>They were not able to achieve anything near what was promised and in some areas I believe the places the concrete is uneven is worse than before they did the work. Where the sealant looks like something a preschooler glued. It is messy and actually highlights our cracks.<br><br>I spoke with a manager who made an appointment to come 18 days later to check it out. Since I have spoken to him the foam has actually started to seep up through the cracks and stained brown all over our concrete.<br><br>I am really disappointed because we chose to go with Aquaguard over competitors because of their reputable name.<br><br>Attaching pictures for reference. The service team of Mike K and Kiwadi A did a great job. Even though we are experiencing record heat, they performed all of the work quoted and cleaned up the work site as they proceeded. Their communication about timing and the work was excellent.

Jim did an amazing job with educating me on what they offer and advising of the best solutions to remedy my situation. They provide free quotes but by the time they are done assessing I felt I needed to pay him for all he did to provide an accurate assessment!! Seem like a great company with Jim in board with his personality and attention to detail I can see why they have been in business for so long!

Mike B and Justin P did an amazing job with the concrete area around my pool. I would definitely recommend if you are looking to level your concrete. Here’s a before and after pic!

Excellent work, we had a trip hazard going up our walkway that they leveled and sealed, and about a 3 inch gap under our nottom step to our walkway that they repaired.

Ben, Mailk and there crew were extraordinary professional and kind. They asked questions when presented and made sure the job was done in a timely fashion as well as cleanup. Highly recommend!!
