I have been a customer of the Orkin business for a really long time. In NC, carried over to GA once our family moved. Between them & another business, their prices are reasonable. However, since moving to GA, the scheduling & communication btw the office & technicians have been horrible. There have been issues of correct scheduling times which result in technicians being extremely late from “expected” time. I also hate that the portal does not work. I wish they would get things figured out bc I really do appreciate their services.

This pest control company is top tier!!!! I’ve used them 16 years ago and they were top tier then and I’m using them again in a different spot! I wouldn’t trust ANY OTHER company but Orkin. They will get the job done at 100% and they always have top tier customer service and support… you can’t go wrong with them

Rick Terry is the man you hope arrives when you call about your bug problem.<br><br>We live on a creek and have tons of ants and other bugs that need to be kept at bay. The difference Rick has made since we hired Orkin is night and day. He knows our house and property well and he takes great care with it. We had a baby last year and he even independently changed the way he sprayed inside to ensure his safety, letting us know of course. Over the years, I have been pleased with Orkin as they provide quality service keeping insects and bugs out my home. If I see anything before the next scheduled visit, they will come out in matter of days. They provide the scheduled date, months in advance, allow me to change it, notify me of date on the web/app, and they send text reminders of visits. The staff (typically the same person) in my case is Colon and he is great! So just a couple different technicians over a 10 year period. I appreciate the staff consistency.

Excellent service! He was tremendously professional. The technician took time to ask about if I’m happy with the schedule and if I’d like any changes. He wants to do the best by his clients and just taking 2 minutes to chat about scheduling was very helpful!

I refrained from submitting a negative public review, preferring to address this matter directly with a manager or supervisor. I contacted the number provided in these reviews and was explicitly assured that a manager would reach out to me by the close of business today. Regrettably, no such follow-up occurred.<br><br>I initially engaged Orkin’s services to address a significant rodent problem—squirrels in my attic and rats or mice in my crawl space. I clearly communicated the nature of the issue to the Orkin representative over the phone, who confidently guaranteed that the appropriate team would be dispatched to resolve it.<br><br>Instead, a pest control technician specializing in insects arrived, applied a general spray treatment to the property, and concluded the visit. Subsequently, this technician arranged for a rodent inspector to assess the situation. The inspector, however, failed to even dispose of a deceased mouse caught in a trap and expressed genuine confusion regarding Orkin’s decision to send an insect specialist and sell me a pest control contract irrelevant to my needs.<br><br>It appears that Orkin’s approach involves misrepresenting their services and pressuring customers into purchasing unnecessary solutions. The inspector proposed a $15,000 remediation plan but undermined his own credibility by focusing solely on the monthly payment structure while withholding the total cost.<br><br>I intend to file formal complaints with the Better Business Bureau to document the wholly unsatisfactory experience I have endured with Orkin.<br><br>P.S. I did place another call to your listed number, anticipating a potential response suggesting I contact you for resolution. Once again, I was assured a manager would return my call by day’s end. The quality of your customer service appears to be consistent with the lack of professionalism demonstrated in addressing my initial concerns.

My technician, Anthony D.was extremely friendly and helpful. He got me scheduled for a home inspection for rodents. The inspector, Tracey W. came out immediately since he was in the area. He was also extremely helpful in providing me with the things I need to do in order to prevent rodents from getting inside. I was misquoted on the initial payment for service. I was given a quote of $156 last week and this morning when Anthony called the office but then the price was changed to $202. I’m still unclear on why there was a difference in what was owed but overall my first experience was pleasant.

They do what they say they will. I have the same guy come out and he is fantastic. Such a nice guy and always gives me a 30 minute heads up. The service is great and I like that I can get in bed without worrying I’m going to eat a bug in the middle of the night…I read somewhere that we eat bugs unknowingly when we are mouth breathers lol. No bug issues. Just how I like it.

They kept making appointments to treat my place then canceling After the appointment. Then rescheduling for another day and canceling again. This happened 5xs. I was waiting for them they wasted my time. I called the office and they assured me it wouldn't happen again. It did. The manager refused to talk to me. Awful! Calling Breda<br><br>UPDATE- They responded to my post quickly and did NOTHING to fix this. They made 2 more appointments that were cancelled since this review. No response to my calls or emails yet. Their system is broken.

The business office is completely incompetent. I stopped receiving service notifications last year so now I have to hope I’m home when they show up. I can never get ahold of anyone in the business office. The issue is still ongoing and I’m about done. Our tech, Kenneth, is amazing but the rest of the operation is a dumpster fire. Earlier this year they raised our rates 20% with no notice or warning.

I just had my first service and the Orkin technician was friendly, knowledgeable and professional. Time will tell if the pest control treatments are effective. So far, so good.

My only issue was that he didn't check the roach traps and replace them like he usually does and when I asked him if he could, he asked if I could instead and I went ahead and took the ones he gave me to replace them with. Other than that, he made sure to spray the places that were needed. I was satisfied with that.

Two men arrived to perform drilling in the garage front and had a hiccup with their machine which broke. They had to leave and return the same day and finished the job. Men both were very courteous and informed us of finishing the job. I commend them both and thanked them. Good work.

Ive been paying for service and haven't had the inside of my home sprayed in months.<br><br>I don’t see a way to reply to your response. Last massage I left was to the office number listed in my email. I’ve talked to a half dozen people about making sure someone sends us an appointment reminder before hand, over the past year. It hasn’t happened yet.

Good service. Help us keep our old house pest free. They spray outside and inside on all levels of the house. They haven’t always come on the right day or time but they’re pretty friendly and good about rescheduling when they can.

I feel like I was lied to about mosquito control at my house. The guy came in and he was I am going to look for any breading spots and also spay around the yard. He left within 5 minutes. I am not sure what he did. Looking for the spots alone, I think would take more than 5 minutes. The mosquito situation is gotten even worse now. I called for them and they were like, "we can only come after 2 weeks". As I sit here writing this in daylight, I am dealing with mosquito bites. They make a lot of promises when they need your money. After they get the money, they act differently.

I called Orkin 2 days ago and they would have been here the next day if I had been available. My tech was very professional. He explained everything he did and answered all my questions. I’ve tried the self-serve options, and so far I prefer having a professional keeping bugs out of my house.

Orkin has been our pest control service provider for many years. We are senior citizens, so we have always trusted Orkin to take care of us as in the past. So, we called Orkin to refer us to some wildlife help in the attic with squirrels. Our pests and rodents has always been under control due to our wonderful tech, Derrick! Shaun from orkin sent a referral to their sister company for the wildlife (Squirrels) service. For starters, we paid and fixed all the outside surrounding entrance points for the squirrels, so the noises had already decreased. We felt deceived with the referral supposedly to Orkin sister company. Orkin representative contacted us fairly quick. We were pleased. After home was evaluated, I agreed that insulation was needed. We trusted that attic would be cleaned and sanitized before insulation because of previous squirrels. When the insulators showed up, the old insulation was removed. When asked about any holes filled from inside and sanitized, I was told they had nothing to do with the wildlife-they were Orkin termite. Disappointment! The first job was messy, but the repeat service was much improved. Thanks to our service representative, Tracy, that I trusted to follow up on the repeat job for better conditions. We really appreciated him. Management, your workers need to work with 1 or 2 generators because it was inconvenient for me to provide the outlets for their use to perform the job.

Very professional and thorough. The plan was explained to me at the beginning of the visit, and the details of the job at the end. Ongoing service and further options were also covered. I’m very happy to be back with Orkin after less than satisfactory experiences with other companies.

This was a service I ordered for my grandmothers house. I explained the scenario and they sent someone who was immediately responsive to the sensitivity. The agent makes sure to call so that I can have someone there with my grandmother during the visits. Appointment time frames were provided well in advance enough for me to plan accordingly. I live in another state, so this was important. They always call and confirm if there are any particular areas that need to be addressed and the solution is working! I am very pleased with the services.
