I have been remiss in leaving this review but the hotter it gets, the more grateful I am for Robert and his team. I started with 1,000 SF of attic space and an R rating of about 10. Robert recommended R60 for Denver. His team came in over 2 days and removed my old insulation, sealed the attic, blew in new insulation. Everything was efficient, clean, and as unobtrusive as possible. Additionally, Robert completed a handful of other little things that needed done in the attic and installed more vents. All that is enough reason to hire them but my house is staying so much cooler. My evaporative cooler is keeping up better. We have yet to put in the window AC unit and every room in the house is more comfortable. Then, Robert filed for the rebate with Xcel. I didn’t have to do anything. Please hire this team. They are worth it.

Robert came to our house to inspect the moisture that was in our attic after the roofer that replaced the shingles in 2023 did an inspection and said there were no problems with the roofing. Robert found that the wrong roof vent cap was installed thus not allowing any exhaust from the furnace and water heater to exit. This caused all of the carbon monoxide to go into the attic and when mixed with the cold caused condensation(a lot of it). The level if CO2 in the attic was well into the dangerous level and was a threat to our health. Robert basically saved our lives that day. He then proceeded to facilitate the replacement of the attic insulation and mitigation of CO2 and mold. He took control of the whole project and has been our savior. If you have a need for any of his services you will be very pleased with him and his team.

Had our attic sealed and insulation re-blown. First, if you’re considering it, do it. Makes all the difference - your rooms are not just warmer, but temperature is much more even. Not something you can get by just blasting the furnace. Robert and his team were great. He himself was on site everyday and doing the work, and ensuring his team was being thorough. He’s also just extremely knowledgeable and thinks of things none of the other 3 companies I got quotes from did. And he was the only one to actually go in the attic to build a quote, which is a big deal for me. We found a couple issues he built a plan around fixing the others did not.

My old house is so small (under 550 sq ft) that it was not likely to be worth much time and attention from an insulation contractor. But bids on my job varied a LOT. Bob Moreno's was not the lowest, but his attention to detail, and to creative 'extras' impressed me enough that I chose his company to do the work. NO REGRETS. And then, on the job, he noticed other things he could 'throw in' to help make my nearly 100 year old house more weather-proof (around the doors, in the crawl-space). And he just DID those things. No price adjustment. Even after I had paid the bill for the basic job, he and his team came back to finish up these extras. This is the kind of company I want to work with: they did the job meticulously and on schedule and honestly. What more could anyone ask?

Rob and his crew changed how our Denver Square is heated and cooled.  Our energy bills are much lower, and now we can keep our home, feeling comfortable!  They were great to work with, and I have called them to do a 2nd project on our home. We were so happy with their service!

After reviewing a few quotes, Rob by far had the most detail included and was able to explain every item with honesty and flexibility based on our needs. Rob and his team were very neat and careful to be extra cautious around my 8+ pregnant at the time wife with any materials. They went above and beyond in every area of the job and even helped me with the Xcel rebate making that process smooth and quick. Immediately I noticed the difference in the winter months and now enjoy the difference in the hot weather too. This kind of service has lots of competition and some just throw in more insulation which looks good and checks the box but leave out other important factors like air sealing. Rob, Laura and the team were very professional (responsive, proactive and thorough). They finished insulating our home attic on schedule despite having to remove additional unexpected material along with notifying us of some minimal electrical and venting code issues we were unaware of in our attic. They fixed the issues immediately for a nominal additional cost (much cheaper than calling out an additional electrical and/or hvac contractor) and kept the job on the agreed upon timeline. They also updated us on the job progress throughout with texts and pictures since we were out of town.

Rob was very communicative which was appreciated but the main reason we selected SHES for our attic insulation was the estimate. We got three estimates, theirs was in the middle cost-wise but Rob was the only person to go into the attic and walk around before providing the estimate, the other companies just looked from the ladder and didn’t go into the space. I feel like there would have been surprise labor or supply costs with the other companies that were avoided with SHES. Definitely recommend. .

Rob and Laura are wonderful! We were looking for an expert to make our 1890’s Denver Square home much more energy efficient and comfortable during a big renovation. Rob and his crew installed additional insulation in our attic. They were professional and thorough, making sure that even the smallest possible places for warm air to leak out through the attic were identified and sealed. They were friendly, responsive, and timely, while communicating well what they were trying to accomplish. And they were careful to make sure that dust did not leak out into the house and cleaned up completely afterward.

I have a room over my garage that was always cold in the winter and hot in the summer. Simple Home Energy Solutions did an inspection and determined my insulation was missing in large areas. Robert, Laura, and their team did a superb job insulating our old 1906 brick duplex. I didn't think the results would be so drastic but they are! Now we don't have a draft when it's freezing outside and our house stays cooler on the hot days. They were professional and attentive to our needs especially during these weird COVID times. I highly recommend their insulation services and plan on using them again in the future.

I met with Rob and discussed adding more insulation in my attic as the level was low. Rob completed an inspection and recommended air sealing, installing bigger soffit vents and new baffles around them. Rob completed everything in a timely manner and also took his time to make sure everything was completed correctly. Robert solved a nightmare situation with our roof. We were getting massive icicles from the gutters and ice dams that led to leaking in the front and flooding in the back of the house. Robert proposed upgrading our attic insulation to industry standards and putting in a vent from the bathroom fan to the exterior. He also rebuilt the soffit and upgraded the insulation in the back. His recommendations were based on experience with issues like this, and he inspired confidence throughout. We just had another foot and a half of snow, and this time there were no ice dams at all. We are so relieved and couldn’t be happier with the outcome. We highly recommend Robert and his team!

Robert is the owner of Simple Home Energy Solutions. You just don't run into this type of person much in this era - he is highly knowledgeable about his business and he is a hard, hard working person of integrity. Once he got going he sealed the house up; put R-60 insulation into the attic; drilled, packed and patched the exterior walls and insulated the crawl space, one of the most difficult spaces in which one could have to work. At the end of the job the house tests compared to those at the outset showed air infiltration was cut more than in half. Suddenly the inside temperatures are warmer, very uniform and richer while using half the amount of gas. A great bonus: we either don't or hardly hear the DIA air traffic that a recent rearrangement of flight paths had brought to us about a year ago. We feel we have done a service for ourselves and our community by taking action to reduce our carbon footprint. Xcel agrees as they are processing an insulation rebate for our taking this action. Finally, we look forward to a comfortable summer as the insulation works year round to allow you to manage the temperatures in your house. I recently had Simple Home Energy Solutions perform airleak sealing, attic insulation, crawl space insulation, and blower door testing on my house. I was extremely happy with the service that they provided. Robert, the owner and installer, gave a very careful and thoughtful assessment of my home and gave me a detailed plan for how to approach the work. He clearly was an expert in this area, and he was very much more thorough than any other estimator that I met while shopping this job. At the outset, he was up front that while his company was not the cheapest option, he felt that the work and attention to detail that he provided were worth the expense. As it turned out, his was *not* the most expensive estimate that I got for this job, but he struck me as the most professional and most competent of the people that I met. Before the work began, he communicated well and was responsive to my questions. On the day of the install, he and his crew showed up on time and got to work straightaway. Given the nature of the job, they were all over my house, and they were very respectful of my family and the house throughout. The work was completed over the next two days, and Robert was very detail-oriented and friendly throughout the process. The result was excellent — my home is enormously more comfortable, and I am looking forward to lower energy bills. The crew paid close attention to details (e.g., door and window sealing, can lights, bathroom fans, and clean up) that other companies would likely have ignored or maybe charged extra to tackle. Overall, I would recommend this company without hesitation to anyone who asked.

I had my home re-insulated after 40 years and what a difference!!! Added insulation to the roof and walls. The foundation and frame area was sprayed with foam, and the most significant change was having the overhang on my tri-level house done as well as the garage roof. My upstairs floors are so much warmer! Robert and his crew were great! I'm waiting for my rebate from Xcel energy....

Robert with Simple Home Energy installed full attic and crawlspace insulation in my home, complete with vapor barrier and whole house air sealing. His pricing was very fair, especially considering how much attention to detail he put into every aspect of the job. You can tell that Robert takes pride in his craft and it shows in the outstanding quality of his work. He was very respectful of my space and left it spotless after the job was done. With these improvements, Robert was able to reduce my air leakage by more than 50% and get me significant rebates through Xcel! My home feels much more comfortable now and I look forward to facing the cold winter months ahead.

Simple Home Energy Solutions sealed and insulated our two attics and did a wonderful job. Rob was very knowledgeable about our home and how to maximize it's energy efficiency, was well prepared and did his research prior to showing up to give us a quote, and very thorough in explaining his recommendations, answering my questions, and designing the quote in a way that we could do the project in phases. He was also very responsive and easy to work with. We will need some crawl space work done in the future and will certainly be using Simple Home Energy Solutions for this and any other future work we need done.

Great company to work with. Rob and his team were very thorough and communicated with us when they found something unexpected. Which was often, since they were working in our attic and 2 crawl spaces and our house is over 50 years old! Rob made repairs as needed and even ventilated two of our bathroom exhaust fans. He has very high standards and made sure the insulation work was done right. He also filled out the Xcel Energy rebate forms that we sent in and received our rebate in about 2 weeks. We bought a home built in 1953, and the home had zero existing insulation. Rob was very professional, helpful, responsive, and overall good to work with. We only had our crawl space insulated, but we will be using his services again: highly recommended.

I can't recommend Rob and his crew at Simple Home Energy Solutions enough. Not only was his pricing incredibly reasonable, but from the first consult through completing the job I don't think I've met someone who cares more about the homeowner's experience. Rob diagnosed my 1940's home to figure out how we could improve the poor insulation in the home which still had original newspaper clippings from the 40's as attic insulation. He explained everything well, checked in with me several times before the work was done to make sure I the timing still worked and if I had questions, quick to respond to text messages and calls and very friendly at all times. On work day he and his teammate Steve worked really hard and make sure to protect my house during work and cleaned up well afterwards. During the job Rob actually removed an item from my quote when he realized my very old attic fan was actually performing quite well, and he saved me hundreds by being honest about not really needing to upgrade that part. He also set me up for Xcel's rebate program which will give me a good chunk back on my bill. I will be recommending them to all my friends and family, and will call on him for any other needs within his realm of work. If I could give them a 6 star i would! Don't hesitate to use these guys. You'll see immediately what an honest and caring group they are.

I am a General Contractor in the Denver area, and I use Simple Home Energy Solutions because they are very thorough. We work on very old homes (100+ Years old) and Simple Home Energy Solutions is amazing at finding the draft areas and all the potential energy leaks. They simply do a great job.

The men were diligent and hardworking. Everything was explained before work began, and their assessment of the situation was far and away more professional and detailed than the two other bidders.

Robert installed an Airscape fan for us and did an excellent job. The fan company didn't ship the fan on time, so Robert came on a weekend to do the install. He was clean, polite, communicative, and professional. Basically everything you'd want from a contractor.
