We wanted to refinance our HELOC to a fixed rate mortgage. But, since the inspector found water stains from some old damage to the house, the underwriter required that we go through a mold removal process. Parnell is the one that the loan company recommended. I got a few other quotes but his was the lowest and most straightforward. Some of the other companies talked about replacing walls, etc., which was beyond what we needed for this project. Parnell explained the steps that were needed and referred us to the company that would need to do the second step (clean and sanitize the ducts). Encapsulation of the crawl space wasn’t part of the requirements from the underwriter, but Parnell was able to add it to his quote and still beat the other companies. They did a great job and came back to fix a duct that had been knocked loose. When the job was finished, Parnell was also very flexible about providing what the underwriter needed. The letter had to be worded a specific way, and he was happy to sign the version that our loan processor wrote up.

Parnell is a good guy! We have a small patch of mold on the ceiling above our shower head, right below a patch of the roof that was repaired before we moved in (we suspect there was a leak). Chose Parnell because of before/after pics and Google reviews. He showed up right on time, took a close look at the spot and ceiling, and assured us the spot was likely isolated (not in the adjoining wall) and just due to moisture from the shower. Offered air testing but voluntarily told me that would cost as much as the drywall repair, so it probably wasn't worth it. He recommended a visual inspection to see if it grows over the next couple months would suffice and to get it cut out if it does. Didn't charge us a thing. Will 100% be calling Parnell back if we have any future mold issues. After dealing with several scummy contractors, it's refreshing and encouraging to encounter someone like Parnell.

I contacted this business to set up an appointment for an estimate to have mold removed from an apartment. I engaged in back and fort texts where they initially gave me a time to come by the apartment to assess it for an estimate to remove the mold. But then they informed me on subsequent texts that my apartment owner would likely not pay for this. I told them I was aware of this and would pay Atlanta Mold and Cleaning out of pocket. They responded to this saying that they would not be able to do the job since the owner of the property would need to sign a contract, since Atlanta Mold and Cleaning could get sued in court if anything happened to the property. I told them this made no sense logically, because in removing mold from the apartment, they would be doing the property owner a favor. They wasted my time and did nothing. P.S. Also since you are wondering why I am complaining when I didn't have any work done by you? Well the answer is in the question; I am complaining since the work I inquired about was not able to be done, and that I wasted time on the inquiry.

Parnell and his crew are absolutely AMAZING! From start to finish, I couldn't be happier with my experience. First off, Parnell was on-time, always. From appointments to job start-time, he is a punctual man. Parnell was incredibly knowledgeable when he came out to quote my job--among other things, he knew to look at (and treat) my crawlspace, while another remediation company did not acknowledge or consider the crawlspace (which ultimately would have created a problem again) in a quote that was DOUBLE Parnell's quote. They were trying to razzle-dazzle me with their fancy, unnecessary "high-tech" process, but didn't actually know how to do the job. This group (AMC) is honest, diligent, thoughtful, hard-working, considerate, incredibly customer oriented...I could go on and on. I felt incredibly comfortable with them in my home without my presence. In my particular case, my home issue started with an insurance claim for small roof leak. Due to the incredible dysfunction, deception, and lies from insurance and their assigned contractors, mold grew throughout my home. I have spent 10.5+ months fighting to be acknowledged and respected as a customer and finding Atlanta Mold and Cleaning was such a breath of fresh air! If these guys had been running the show from the start, not only would I have been back in my home months ago, but it never would have filled with mold in the first place! THIS is what customer service looks like. I wish there was a way to give 6 stars :)

Parnell and his crew were amazing. They came out to do an inspection quickly and quoted a very reasonable price compared to other companies. They did way more than they originally quoted. My crawlspace was an absolute mess with garbage and Mold. I also had a dryer pipe that was hung improperly. They installed a brand new pipe and vent for free! They even made another visit several months later to finish an area that needed some construction work. I have recommended this company to several friends and neighbors. A great overall experience despite the circumstances of mold! My crawlspace is beautiful and I don’t mind going under there anymore.

This company claim they remove mold from my home and 2 weeks later the mold resurfaced and the pipe under the bathroom sink was not put back together properly. The technician, James, returned to fix the issue and he told us he didn’t know how to fix the issue. He went to Home Depot twice to purchase supplies and could not resolve the issue. The following day I had to hire another company to fix the issue at the rate of $150. In the meantime we’ve developed another mold issue in the bathroom closet from the initial issue. I called and spoke with the owner and he told me he wows going to charge me an additional $150 to remove the mold. I declined and asked him to reimburse me the $150 I paid the new company. The owner may have an idea how to remove mold but clearly his helper James does not. If you hire this company please have someone available to oversee the work that is being done.

We got water damage leaking from a flex tube wrapped in insulation foam sleeve, so the leak was not detectable on the drywall until it is too late from dripping behind the cabinet wall, causing surrounding hardwood floor color damage and kitchen cabinets ruined. To be sure there is no mold there, We contracted Parnell and his company AMC for this work. His team members, James, Alexandra brothers were fast, efficient, and professional.
