Excellent Work by TA<br>We recently had a water leak from the attic that affected our restroom ceiling and walls. TA handled the restoration work with exceptional professionalism and skill.

The Steam Team led by TA did an awesome job fixing all the sheet rock damage caused from repiping the house. Some rooms had custom wall texture and paint that they matched very well. The bathroom cabinets damaged by the plumbing leak were restored beyond our expectations.<br><br>We love TA's attitude, his attention to detail, and his diligence to always strive for perfection. We appreciated his attentiveness to our thoughts and questions. I almost wish we had more work for him to do. It was our pleasure to have him in our home. Thank you Steam Team.

TA was very professional and thorough and we were pleased with how he expedited the rebuild. He was courteous and kept us updated as the job progressed. David Williams is the best and he kept me updated throughout the process.

My house had flooded and my insurance had them come out to do water mitigation. I had personal items that are irreplaceable go missing while they were there working. They also did a poor job and left high moisture reading in exterior walls due to the insulation not properly drying. I would not recommend going with them if you have the option to.

This review has 3 parts:<br>1. The Steam Team performed above expectations. They were courteous and very capable to do the tasks assigned. The team was lead by Edward Chavez who communicated with me often throughout the process and managed the restoration process very professionally and respectfully. I really appreciate that Edward and his team are all Christians. I would highly recommend The Steam Team for your restoration needs.<br>2. The "Mitigation Team" of the Steam Team, led by Jose, did an excellent job. They found all the moisture that was causing the damage to my floors. Thy pulled up the old floors and temporarily installed fans to dry everything. Good job fellas!<br>3. The "Restoration Team" part of the Steam Team, primarily done by Salvador, was done to perfection. He was methodical and worked efficiently to get the job done. Pleasant attitude as well!<br>If ever I have need or restoration, I will not hesitate to call on them again.

This company called me about my insurance claim. I felt like they thought I was incompetent. They talked down to me and demanded I pay them both deductibles before they come out and assess what could be wrong with my roof. They told me they were with my insurance and needed to just do what they say. Pay them 11 thousand dollars the 9thousand if I have wind/hail damage (which is not evident or really thought I had) and the 2 thousand if my seal in the sunroof had a crack in the seal. They said I pay now, then they will set something up to come look at the property to see what was wrong and make a contract. I told them I would not feel comfortable with that at all. I asked if it came out to 100 dollar in damage and I wanted my money pack and to pay outright. Or that if it was just the 2k in damage what happens to the other 9k I would have paid. They said “ Oh we can’t discuss that till after we come out and I can’t confirm you will get anything back in that scenario”. The lady on the phone was repeatedly yelling at me just telling me over and over “just pay me “<br><br>If you look online it clearly states” If a roof company asks you to pay your insurance deductible before they even inspect your roof, you should not do it as this is a major red flag and likely a scam; it is illegal for a roofing contractor to ask you to pay your deductible before they have assessed the damage and provided a detailed estimate, as this could be considered insurance fraud.“<br><br>This company did exactly that!!! I do not recommend them , the customer service was terrible, and they run are running an illegal business. When asked about this they said “well this is how we do business” I responded then I will go to anyone else who look at my property first and charge me according to the damage.

We had 3 water leaks in 2 months! Completely unrelated. The first one was minor compared to the third one, but the Steam Team including Jose on the mitigation and Dave/Pedro on the reconstruction were top-notch! On the third one, Jose came back to help us and he went above and beyond - even found the leak when our plumbers could not! The second leak was assigned to another company, but wish I would have insisted on the Steam Team for that one too! Steam team it is if I ever have another issue.

I want to thank The Steam Team crew and especially David Williams. He kept me well informed and was always quick to respond when I had questions. He kept the restoration running smooth with the attention to detail that I wanted. David was always professional and friendly and we got an exceptional result. Thank you!

We had some fire damage to our home. My insurance, State Auto Insurance responded quickly and referred me to Mr. Ben Behel with The Steam Team (TST) Restoration. Mr. Behel answered all my questions and explained the prosses of what was to come in detail. He secured our home and reassured me that everything was going to be OK. The thing that stood out in my mind is that he told me not to make any big decisions for a few days. He understood that I was probably in a bit of shock and stress. We are very satisfied with everything Mr. Ben Behel and The Steam Team did for us. And everyone with TST that we met and spoke with were very professional. During our home restoration process, my family and I couldn’t have asked for a more friendlier and professional team to work with. These people are amazing. Got them from USAA. They came and identified what was wet, took out what was needed and made sure everything was really dry before completed. They were professional and very detailed to make sure things were handled completely. They listened to my concerns and worked with me so I felt comfortable through the whole process.

The steam team restoration were very slow providing service. They did not protect my furniture from dust and construction damage. (said they did not protect my furniture because they were to wash it after they complete the work). They were very professional before I signed the contract but after they got the job they didn't care. I would not recommend them to anyone. Noted discrimination of some form too. I couldn't take it it anymore, I fired them before the job was done.

Good people. They will get the job done on time and back as new no matter what which shows they are prepared, honest, committed and hardworking.

During the intense winter storm of February 15 2021, our church had approximately 12,000 ft of flooded area. Jeff and his team were on-time, professional, thorough and kept me informed every step of the way. On a scale of 1-5, I give them a 7.

Jeff Lester and The Steam Team took on a difficult project for us this year and did a great job.<br>The team that completed the work made a long and challenging project one that we could survive, and we stayed in our house through the whole process — during the pandemic.<br><br>We discovered a water leak under our house. USAA sent Jeff’s team to evaluate the damage. Through the process, they managed the organization and move of our belonging with an organized, thoughtful and incredibly kind team. They oversaw the project management of the large furniture move along with the packing and documentation of all of our stuff — and they were able to put it back exactly as it started when the work was completed.<br><br>The demo work was fast and other than losing access to a portion of our home, we were able to continue using our kitchen and living areas while the project moved forward. We were concerned that we would lose the 60 year old floors that are the centerpiece of our home. Jeff and his team were able to craft a solution to rebuild the sub-floor and restore the original flooring of our home. They did a magnificent job.<br><br>Jeff was a great partner during a very stressful time, and we are thrilled with the finished work.

Landon, Isaiah and Tim were amazing! They came right away, worked around the clock and did an outstanding job. Top notch service and professional crew all the way around. Highly recommend!

Update 8/13/2020.<br>Steam team keeps harassing me about this review so lets wrap this up.<br>My insurance approved the claim. After this poor experience, I went back to my insurance to demand a licensed insurance adjuster come to inspect the roof. The insurance adjuster was able to find what the steam team could not. I received a call the following day from my insurance. They stated the claim was approved. On 7/9/2020 my trusted roofing company (not these guys), came out to replace my roof. My guys did amazing work. Check out my review for them.<br>It is your right as an insured home owner to have your roof inspected by a licensed insurance adjuster, not a roofing company. I'm sure Steam team does a fine job, not with me. I'll never forget how I was told multiple times by Ben "We can do this work for you" and "I'd sure hate for you to have any problems". You guys were my problem. I would give my overall experience with these people a 0 if I could. I do not want to be contacted by Steam team any further. I do not owe you my time. Thank you.<br><br>They sure “know what they’re doing” and not in the good way. Unfortunately I signed up with a mickey mouse insurance who sent this company to review my roof claim instead of an insurance adjuster. Not normal! As a result I was poorly represented. When Ben arrived it was obvious the wind was taken out his sail when he saw I planned on using another company for my repairs. Ben did a great job at not representing me as the client since it did not serve his interest. So be warned, if your insurance sends these guys you better play ball. Such a poor way to do business.

I am so glad Hippo Insurance has the Steam Team Restoration as a preferred contractor. TST sent Ben out to help us with a water damage in our home. He was very professional and knowledgeable. Him and his team did an excellent job with the restoration and repairs to my home. I would definitely use them again.

To begin, I am a new homeowner, my husband and I bought our house back in January and moved in March. We began to notice water leaking into the house from under our tile and just pooling up into the garage. The people Ben worked with were so kind, and caring. I felt so hopeless with the situation, but the more work they did the better we felt. The guy that fixed our busted pipe worked over the weekend to make sure that we had water by Sunday afternoon. I was shocked. The guys that fixed a GIANT hole in my wall, were done in two days. They even painted the entire ceiling because the paint didn't match JUST right. I can't even tell where the repairs were done. The grout lines look so good I can't even tell the difference of where the old ones are and the new ones begin. Honestly, the experience was overall very good. I would use them again.

Our homeowners insurance company referred us to TST after a water leak under our kitchen island damaged our hardwood floors. I was hesitant going with a company insurance recommended. Isaiah and his team more than surpassed expectations. They were friendly, punctual, and did a fabulous job. They fully draped our kitchen (but took the time to drape to allow us access to kitchen sink and oven) and took precautions to lessen the amount of dust made when taking up affected flooring. They checked moisture levels even on Saturday and Sunday to ensure the drying process was going smoothly. I highly recommend TST and would definitely use them in the future!

TST Restoration recently did some work on our home after a flood & we couldn’t be more pleased with the results. The entire process was smooth from beginning to end. Thank you guys so much!

One of the harsh spring storms left us with a nice little flood at our office this year. It was not a pretty site walking into a half flooded office Monday morning. We had to keep working and needed a fast professional response. Once power was restored the Steam Team was on site with dehumidifiers and fans to dry our offices out. Once we were dried out they handled the restoration of our damaged floors and walls. Thank you Steam Team for making our office workable again.
