I would highly recommend Greenlows! Assessed problem, came up with a solution that worked, and excellent communication and customer service by Chris and team. Had been having very high humidity in our crawlspace, causing floors to warp. Chris installed humidity controlled fans in crawlspace vents and vapor barrier, completely solving our problem and keeping humidity under our below 50% from a consistent high 90s.

Excellent experience working with Greenlows! Timely, high quality work, and absolute workhorses! (Please offer the guys water and refrigerator space - attics are no joke). I called Chris late in the afternoon and he scheduled a check in and estimate to be done the very next day. Scope of work was about 1900-2000 sf attic space blow-in insulation, soffit vents, rooftop turbines, and restoration of gable vents. We scheduled to have the work done within the next few days. The attic work was completed, but rain prevented the exterior work same-day, but rescheduling was a breeze. Price-wise: I tend to call around for a handful of bids and toss out any high or ridiculously low options and choose from those in the middle. Greenlows was in that middle group, and Chris offered plenty of sound information and by far left the best impression during the initial check-in. I couldn’t be happier with my decision! Would highly recommend Greenlows to anyone looking for their services.

I don't know that I could recommend anyone else over Chris at Greenlows. He came and clearly cared about doing a good job for a reasonable price. He even made sure to advise me on things that needed fixed and helped get them done that day. I can honestly say that I would never go to anyone else for insulation in the future.

Chris was great to work with. We recently bought a home where insulation had been neglected over the past 60 years. He was quick to point out what needed to be done to bring it up to code and significantly improved our attic. Would definitely work with them again.

We used Chris for radiant barrier installation, soffit vent replacement and blow-in insulation top off. We are very happy with the results.

Can’t say enough about how great Greenlows took care of our attic. Ours is a pretty low slung roof so it’s hard to get around up there! Radiant barrier, fixed a run of duct that had torn, added two whirl bird attic vents, blown in insulation, rise wall batt insulation, and he even found a substantial amount of missing exterior wall insulation in a weird area and took care of it. Chris was a great communicator, especially via text which I appreciate, and always kept me up to date on the details. Overall the work has netted me $100 in cooling cost for the month of June in 2022!

Chris did an excellent job helping ventilate and insulate our attic. He gave us a fair price and was very kind and helpful. We will save money on utilities in the summer and winter due to his services.

From beginning to and Chris was very knowledgeable very communicative and very good at his work and competitive to boot. Do yourself a favor don’t call anybody else the green loads to take care of you like they took care of me and my parents.

I have used Greenlows (Chris) on 2 of my homes, once in 2013, and again in 2017. On both homes Chris installed foil radiant barrier, added additional attic insulation, replaced old soffit vents with larger ones for increased airflow, installed attic tents on doors and stairs, and powered attic fans. On both homes I saw a 30-40% decrease in my electric bill, decreased A/C runtime, and overall a more comfortable home during the HOT Texas summers. Chris always arrived on time, has always been very respectful, pays attention to detail, cleans up after himself, and overall does an excellent job. I have also referred Chris to 2 other close friends of mine, both of which had similar things to say.

This is the second time we've hired Greenlows and the project went great. We previously worked with Chris and his team in 2010 for attic insulation and radiant barrier installation at our old home, and when we moved into our new house we called Greenlows again. They did an incredible job with a complex project at our current home. We had evicted a raccoon from the attic, and because of the unsanitary mess the raccoon left behind we wanted to vacuum out the soiled insulation, disinfect the attic, install radiant barrier, blow in new insulation, and upgrade the soffit vents. Our goal was to clean up thoroughly and then improve energy efficiency. Chris listened to our concerns and worked with us to make sure we got exactly what we wanted. Very professional service at the most competitive price. Chris and his team are hard working and courteous, easy to work with and very knowledgeable about energy efficiency. We couldn't be happier. We already feel more comfortable in our home with the cold weather starting this new year, and we look forward to being cooler in the summer and saving on energy bills like we did at our last house. Chris was ok, over the phone. A little more expensive then some of the quotes I got from craigslist contractors. Actually came out to the house to look vs a quote over the phone for some of the others. Still after the installation, came out of the hot attic in a down right nasty mood. Charged extra for work I do not think he did but he was so belligerent I just wanted to get him out of the house. I get that working in hot attics sucks but that is the job you signed up for.

I have used Greenlows for several houses and one business. They are honest and completely professional. That is why I have recommended them to many people, who are also very satisfied. The house I have now, a two story with two heat pumps cost me over $300 a month for electricity in summer. Last month (July) $120

Chris came out to give me an estimate and we also talked about what my goals were (lower utilities and make the home more uniformly comfortable) and he shared with me several options. Chris and his team arrived on-time, installed the radiant barrier, extra insulation and corrected my existing poorly installed gable vents to make them more efficient. He also noticed a couple problems with my existing ducts and a bathroom exhaust pipe and fixed them (leaky connections). He kept me updated the whole time on the progress and he was always reachable through email and phone. His team were very professional and courteous and cleaned up well afterwards. I could tell immediately the difference it has made in the attic and even though it has only been a few days, I have already been able to raise the temperature on the A/C and the house is very comfortable. I highly recommend him for installing the radiant barrier and helping to lower your electricity costs!

Chris and his associate arrived on-time, installed the radiant barrier, extra insulation and attic access tent, and fixed our attic exhaust, all on-time and at estimated costs. Kilowatt usage over cooling degree days is down about 18% vs. last year. He is an excellent energy-saving contractor.

Chris/Greenlows installed the radiant foil, solar attic fan and additional insulation in my attic. I did not record temperatures but I can tell you it is a lot cooler in my attic and even in my garage both of which were stifling hot before the install. I could not see to keep my house cool and now I can no problem. Everything was professionally done and quality of work was Great. Thanks Chris!

I googled radiant barrier installers and had a lot of companies come out and do estimates. A lot of them seemed really sketchy and quoted either sky high prices or prices that seemed too good to be true that were light on details. Chris at Greenlows came and did an estimate for me. Not only was the price pretty good, but he made a lot of recommendations, and really seemed to understand how attics work, in terms of getting rid of heat. We ended up getting radiant barrier, a lot more insulation blown in, a lot more soffit vents installed, and 2 solar attic fans to replace the whirly vents that were up there. The "system" was installed in March 2012, right before summer really started, and it made a huge difference in my kilowatt usage. But beyond that, my air conditioner can actually keep up with the heat of Texas' summer, so the house is actually comfortable. That's worth a lot more than even the kilowatt savings.

Chris/Greenlows installed radiant foil barrier in the attic of my 1927 Dallas home in June 2011, the week before the record temperatures of the summer of 2011 began. Chris and his crew were prompt and professional and completed the job on schedule. The price was very fair. Even with the record temperatures that ensued right after installation was complete, my electric bill for the year was reduced by 50% over the previous year; I was actually cold in the house if I kept the thermostat at the previous levels! The foil barrier is also a help in the winter, as it prevents the loss of heat through the attic. While you have Chris there, get a solar powered attic exhaust fan installed as well, which will help in the summers to reduce attic temps. This is something everyone should do (but let Chris/Greenlows do it, or you may step through your ceiling a couple of times like my son-in-law did trying to do this job himself....).

I researched radiant barrier and decided on what appeared (and I believe is) to be the best foil product out there. They recommended Greenlows as a local installer. I had a few bids but Greenlows was the best price and most professional. They did an awesome job putting foil all over my oversized attic. They also added blow-in insulation per my request. They were fast, professional, and communicated well. Foil + additional insulation reduced my attic temps but most importantly reduced my upstairs temp enough where my HVAC wasn't running all the time. I was able to cool down by at least another 2-3 degrees F which I wasn't able to do before. My energy costs had to have gone down but honestly I was looking more for HVAC system reprieve (and a cooler house) than I was reduced electric costs. I can't recommend the guys enough. I have several friends who have already used them, and I called them back out for another project last year.
