I used ADU for a mold remediation recently. Communication with them was very easy, and they were very available for service. Scheduling was easy<br><br>The initial inspection is free of charge. It's worth noting that they do not do mold testing. If you want to do things completely by the book, you have to use a separate company to collect air samples and generate a lab report.<br><br>After that, they came back once to do the remediation, then a few days later to pick up their equipment. On day 1, they set up a containment area and removed all of the affected materials. They left dehumidifers and air scrubbers and a few days later they came and picked them up after verifying that the remediation was successful. So the total process was:<br><br>Initial inspection ~1 hour<br>Mold testing with separate company ~30mins (on a different day)<br>Remediation process ~6 hours<br>Dehumidification/Airscrubbing period - 4 days<br>Equipment pick up ~ 30 minutes<br><br>I could have stayed in my property during the 4 day period, but decided to stay with my parents just to be safe.<br><br>ADU only handles the remediation but they connected me with a contractor that does drywall and builds cabinets.<br><br>Finally, I want to give a shout out to TJ. He was very helpful throughout the whole process.

TJ came to do a check for mold, water damage, and went over everything that needed to be done. He was very friendly, knowledgeable, and did a great job at explaining and letting me see everything I asked to see. He made everything so care free. :) I highly recommend.

TJ has been absolutely wonderful in helping us repair a leak in our rental property. He has made a very stressful situation almost stress free as he has taken care of everything from A-Z. He has also made sure to be involved in every step of the repair process and has kept me updated constantly. I have really appreciated all his help especially dealing with the insurance company. Had a great experience working with TJ and the crew at All Dry!! We had an unexpected flood and were panicking about the impact and possibility of mold build up in our home with a small baby living in it. TJ got our our home immediately and explained to us how they were going to get it dried out and taken care of. Within hours his team was packing up our stuff, organizing it, and getting it prepped for dry out. It took So much stress off of our plate to not have to organize and pack everything while tending to our jobs and child. They removed the damaged areas had it safely dried out within a few days, worked with our Insurance and had great contractor referrals. They also created a barrier so we could safely live upstairs during dry out. His crew was kind and respectful. They also can use infrared imaging as well as moisture meters

The mark of a good contractor is one who knows where they’re not needed.<br><br>TJ stopped by after we had some hail damage to our roof and we feared some water had gotten inside. Following his inspection he said he would love if we had a problem but that we don’t. With so many door knockers coming through after the storm, we really appreciate the honesty. Solid company.

Very SHADY and unprofessional company who used/ruined/stole personal belongings that were usuable and valuable tools for work from my property without replacing them. Their workers stepped on antiques and used them like step stools, and left drywall dust on everything! When confronted I was weirdly emailed by their “legal” with no name or info. and told that they hired a subcontractor for the job so I should contact the sub.<br>It has been almost a year and STILL no recompense OR response to my email. I absolutely DO NOT recommend this company whatsoever.

T.J. Was AMAZING !!! He was so courteous and began listening to what we had concern about due to a leak under the sink. He checked it and quickly assessed it, realized all was now dry and not the problem someone else told us it was. He was amazing and put us at peace that all is well. Thank you! Thank you! Thank you! We had a small dark shadow around our ceiling fan that we thought might be black mold so we called ADU. TJ and his tech Jamie came out the very next day. They were prompt, very friendly and professional. They thoroughly investigated everything including the attic and determined there was no mold. It was so refreshing to have a company come out for a free inspection and it actually be just that, free. I would have no problem recommending them. They have proved to be honest which can be a rare find. While they didn't have to remove any mold for us, I'd be willing to bet they would do a fantastic job and would be very fair!

ADU Contractors did a awesome job,we had water damage,from packing our furniture,moving it to storage.Installed our wood floors and carpet. Painters came in and painted our base boards and touched up the walls. The movers then moved our furniture back in the house.I want to personally thank Blerium and Brock they were always in contract with us during the whole remodeling project.Would definitely recommend ADU to anyone who might need their service. We were notified by the city of a potential leak and could hear running water through our walls so we called ADU and setup a moisture detection inspection. When the ADU rep arrived he checked all the faucets and did a walk through but no moisture detector was ever used. The entire visit was pointless. Nothing was done or advised. We were only handed a business card for a plumber to contact. Would not recommend.

Brock, Eddy and Ben were all very respectful, explained everything, and did a great job.I would call ADU again if I needed to... but hopefully no more broken pipes! 5+ stars

ADU came and removed mold and water damaged debris from my bathroom. Matthew and Luke were very professional and informative throughout the process. We had a bathroom leak that resulted in mold damage. I called another company and got an outrageously high quote which was not doable especially because our insurance wasn’t covering this. Brock came to give me a quote for ADU and it was substantially lower because he said it wasn’t necessary to do everything the other company wanted to do. Jamie came out to do the work and did a great job being thorough, kind and communicative.

Brock Shelton at ADU was absolutely amazing! I’d give more stars if I could. We were told by our pest control company during a routine attic inspection that we had “black mold” on our AC unit and a “layer of black mold” on our insulation. They quoted us $13k to treat and replace the insulation. We wanted a second opinion. Other mold companies wanted to charge $900 for a mold inspection. ADU offered a free inspection and scheduled the next day. Brock was so friendly, professional and knowledgeable. He took pictures and then informed me it was not the scary black mold but just normal mold that forms on the AC unit from condensation which is completely normal for Texas. The layer of “mold” on the insulation was just dust. He educated me on how to clean it myself, where to buy the cleaner and I didn’t spend one dime. He didn’t try to upsell me and he saved me $13k. I cannot recommend this company enough! Will definitely use them again if needed and recommending to all my friends and neighbors.

Janese was kind and courteous when setting up my appointment. Brock came out the next day to check my walls after a water heater leak. I tried drying my floors and walls myself prior, so this was more of a precautionary visit. He was on time, and very knowledgeable. He didn’t try and upsell me, or talk me into work that didn’t need to be done. He even explained to me how to dry out the little bit of insulation that did have water so that I could save money by doing it myself. I recommend the ADU team 100%.

We've had the misfortune of two critter-caused pipe breaches, six weeks apart, flooding rooms in our house each time.<br><br>On the first occasion, the plumbing company subbed out the water damage restoration. It was expensive, but the plumbers and restoration team did well.<br><br>Although the first plumbers and restoration team did a good job, the more than $10,000 in potential accumulated out-of-pocket costs inspired us to shop for plumbers and restoration companies.<br><br>We found a great plumber for half the cost of the former, but this review is not for him. It's for ADU.<br><br>After quotes from other restoration companies, ADU stood out. Brock did a much more thorough job probing for moisture incursions than others. He was the only one to check how far the water had spread in the carpet pad. He was the only one who offered solutions for drying the interiors of the walls. Yet, the others quoted roughly the same amount for doing less.<br><br>Brock sent two restoration technicians, Matt and Jamie. They were delightful, courteous, professional, efficient, competent, and thorough. Brock is building a great team.<br><br>Their treatment was very effective, and I would heartily recommend them to anyone in the DFW and surrounding areas.

Recently my daughter had a water leak that turned out to be her responsibility. Brock with your firm came out on a Saturday and confirmed the location of the problem and recommended a plumber that responder that evening. They were not able to complete the repair but did help with suggestions . Brock should get a five star rating for his efforts and would recommend your firm to anyone with a leak problem. What great service! I called and spoke to Keyana and to my surprise, she was able to get a manager out to my house within 3 hours. After my home got extensive water damage from the August 2022 flood that came through DFW I called ADU out of recommendation from a good friend. Kurt managed the project from start to finish and was very responsive to any of our questions. Our technician was Micheal Gonzalez. Micheal was very knowledgeable on all matters of water mitigation and was also happy to answer any questions my wife or I had. Michael always treated our home with respect and performed very high quality work. Overall, Micheal and Kurt are very professional and went out of their way to ensure they provided accurate ETAs and quality work. 10/10 recommend ADU and make sure to ask for Kurt and Michael.

I had a water leak within a couple weeks of moving into our new home. We found the leak and my plumber suggested I give a restoration company a call and suggested ADU. I wasn't even thinking about mold since the water leak was relatively short lived before I noticed and stopped it. But its a humid Texas summer and went ahead out of abundance of caution called ADU to come check out the situation. Kurt and Cody were very honest with me and gave me my options to get the mold taken care of. I chose to do it the most thorough way by busting out all the drywall affected and was very glad I did as mold growth was already present and spreading fast. Michael was the technician and he did an outstanding job. He built containment areas to remove the mold safely and cared for my home like it was his. Michael kept me updated with pictures when I was at work and left the jobsite clean everyday and safe for my young toddler as well. When I say there was zero dust, I mean ZERO dust after all the demolition of insulation and drywall was completed. I would highly suggest ADU and ask for Michael to lead the job at your home.
