Before I hired Ace, I got estimates from Ace and two other handymen. Ace Handyman came in lowest but that’s not why I hired them. When Steve was here for the estimate I asked him about fixing the cage around my A/C condenser outside. He’s the only one who showed confidence that he could do it. There were several confirmation texts in the days prior and Steve and Philip showed up on time and got to work. Steve worked on leveling the fridge and dishwasher and got the dishwasher working! I told him I needed to call my plumber because I had a leak under the kitchen sink but he was able to fix that as well. Philip spent time doing a great repair of drywall on both sides of a wall that had previously had a leak. Steve was able to fix my A/C cage and even cut a post and the trees that were growing inside the cage. The post was hindering access (I wasn’t aware of that because I couldn’t get the cage apart) and now my maintenance man can access the unit for cleaning. I found out that Philip does wood work and am looking forward to getting his help to finish my kitchen. I’m so happy with all the work that was done - they went above and beyond. I will definitely request them for future projects - and there are many things to be done!

The team here is unbelievable! They tried to collect payment on a PAID invoice 4 years later. How does that even happen? How does someone try and recollect on a paid invoice. This is a massive issue and very bad business practices.

Steve adjusted my French doors, exactly what was needed. The earth moves here causing ongoing problems. I had other quotes over $1,500. , nonsense. It seems every business is in the business of scamming in Dallas. Steve was super.<br>Thanks!

Terrible. Handy man didn’t know what needed to be done upon arrival and no idea of supples that was needed. The office said they would show him photos and notes on materials. They confirmed that the notes and photos “didn’t save.” What was said to be 1.5 hrs was going to be 4. Let another company finish the job.

Shane did great job on my various projects. He was thorough, kept me updated throughout the day and gave me options and his recommendation, when unexpected issues were encountered. He also left no mess behind, which was really appreciated. I love the new half bathroom (Shane removed the old vanity and sink, replaced with new and tiled the back wall). Steve did a wonderful job of getting my mailbox reattached to its post (replacing the rotten wood). He was able to fix in a short amount of time. No reason to wait if you have a to-do item that needs to be done.

Decided to try Ace Handyman Services recently for a carpentry project…a rebuild/refurbishing of an outdoor wooden staircase that leads to a second story porch… a challenging project as they weren’t built well originally and i had struggled to find a company willing to take on the project. Ace Handyman was very receptive from the start. Their carpentry representative Shane came out within a day or two, evaluated the project, gave me a solid estimate and started the job that same day. The project required a second day which we were able to schedule immediately and Shane completed the project within the expected timeframe….as well as beyond my expectations as far as the quality of the work done!!<br>Really, he did an awesome job on a tough project but the stairs now look and feel like can last another 20+ years!!! Ace Handyman Services sent Philip Prince to fix our sticky door and sagging bed frame. He is a very good carpenter who figured out that the door had a tricky hinge. He repaired it by purchasing the proper screws and some finesse with the holes that held the screws.<br><br>Fixing a large bed frame required removing a heavy Tempurpedic<br>mattress, which is difficult. He moved the mattress to a safe spot with my husband assisting. Then he could get under the frame and put in the correct screws which had gone missing in our last move.<br><br>I will definitely call Ace again. We have used them for painting and carpenter/handyman tasks and they have always done a great job.

Very professional, asked questions to verify what I wanted… fast and efficient… Steve and his helper Brian knocked out two days of work in one day. All the jobs were done well and look great! I have used Ace two other times and have been very satisfied. I would give them a 5 stars out of 5 stars.

Jose showed up right on time he got to work and assembled a bookcase a TV stand and hunger curtain rod for me and record time with professionalism and efficiency! Shane was our handyman and he was fantastic. Upon arrival I told him our desires and what I had read on the internet could fix it. He assessed the problem and told me what wasn’t necessary in my specific situation. He had an incredible work ethic that was prompt and thorough. I greatly appreciate his efforts.

Steve and his helper did an excellent job re-screening our porch. In the process, they encountered some rotten wood in our trim, but Steve had anticipated that possibility and brought along some new wood strips and paint for that very purpose! A+!

I have two average size bathrooms that need remodeling. When I made the appointment for the consultation I was aware of the $124 per hour charge plus a $70 service charge. When Shane came out, I explained the work I wanted done and needed an expert to determine if a ceiling in one of the bathrooms could be raised. He gave me a ballpark estimate of 40 hours per bathroom at $10,000 each. He told to expect a formal estimate a few days later. I never received a follow up estimate. I never received an invoice for the $194 either. I did receive 2 requests for google reviews. In essence, I paid $194 for approximately 30 minutes of his time in which he did tell me the he saw no reason why the ceiling could not be raised. I will be looking for another contractor.

Our 2nd time using Ace. This time for 4 separate little projects - bathroom painting, kitchen floor repair, back door repair and siding repair. Steve did a great job on all 4 projects, and even did it in less time than expected. I recommend this company and will be using them again when needed!

I am so glad that I found Ace Handyman! I occassionally have small jobs and things needed to be done that I can't do myself. I don't need a subscription service, but I do need help from time to time. Shane was amazing! He finished a few things in less than an hour. And if I need help with small repairs, I now know who to call. So great to work with. Again, very glad I found them!

Bryan Hale is FANTASTIC! Most skilled handyman of all time! He has an incredible eye for detail. Noticed imperfections that we didn’t when hanging artwork, mirrors, etc. Cleans up after each project (example: vacuuming after drilling into concrete walls). Bryan is incredibly diligent, efficient, and professional. Terrific personality, and a pleasure to work with. We will definitely request him in the future.

Professional with true craftsmanship. Phillip replaced the kitchen trash drawer with improvements. Its the second time the drawer slides have been replaced. The last time was done by someone else. I’m pretty certain this is the last time I will have to deal with it. Phillip remade the drawer and installed new, heavy duty, easy release drawer slides. I will definitely call him again. Hopefully, to build something pretty in my house.

Once again, I am very happy with the work that Phillip from Ace Handyman did at my house recently. He arrived on time (actually 30 minutes early), and he notified us when he was on his way. Once he got here, he got right to work, went through all the steps, and finished the job on time (within the 1st hour, so there was no extra charge for additional time). The rails and rollers he fixed on one of my kitchen drawers are working great now. He fixed another kitchen drawer about a year ago, and it is still working great too. I was impressed at how easy it was to coordinate appointments with the company and the continuous text updates.
