Koala Insulation of Northwest Houston

Koala does thorough, quality work. Our old home was in need of insulation and baffles. They specialize is retrofitting older homes. That doesn’t mean they charge extra for that! Our attic was down to mostly bare/no insulation, and they blew in 10+ inches for a super reasonable price. Jeremy and his associate (I apologize, I forgot his name!) were efficient, professional, and kind. Cleaned up on their way out! Highly recommend!

Setting the appointment was easy. The crew showed up on-time, worked continuously, and did a great job!

The insulation in my attic had settled over time and the A/C was struggling. Koala added blown in fiberglass and the house is much cooler now. The crew was courteous, efficient, and did a good job cleaning up. Thumbs up!

I had some insulation blown, recess lights covers installed and 2 solar attic vents. As soon as the attic vents were installed my AC run a lot less and my 2nd-floor temperature drop a good 4 degrees. Koala did a great job.

Quick, efficient and the cost is palatable. According to the Nest features, yesterday the upstairs AC ran 1.5 hours less yesterday than the times last week. And hopefully will continue to decrease as the insulation settles.<br>Also, be aware that if you pay by CC when signing it asked about tip???<br>The options were 10%, 20%,25% Other<br>Just a heads up.

These folks are super knowledgeable! Kim came to house and did an assessment to find out in some areas I only had 3” of insulation!<br><br>They added 11” of insulation and a solar vent fan. The install guys also found that my vent baffles were not spaced out correctly. OMG my AC can actually get the temp down to 72 again… I’ve been missing out on efficiencies for a while. I would highly recommend these folks.

If negative reviews were possible I would give them that.<br><br>Signed a contract to have our building sprayed. It takes 2 guys 2-3 hours each time to get everything out of building they were going to spray. They confirmed twice and NO SHOWED! TWICE!!!! Poor excuse from the owner/Manager. I am appalled at how we were treated. When something like this goes wrong at my shop I go out there personally and handle getting the customer serviced to retain my name. I had to get a scissors lift and everything for them and they NO SHOWED TWICE!!!!!! I cannot express enough please do not use these guys for spray foam. Find the actual contractor these guys are just a middle man with no pride in there workmanship!<br><br>UPDATE: Texas Insulation Heard about my situation and came to install the very next day. I cannot recommend them enough they honored the quote that I was given by koala and were an amazing experience. I will definitely be using them for my other 3 buildings.<br><br>I highly recommend Texas Insulation!

They came to my home to evaluate the insulation in my homes attic, because it seemed excessively hot. They gave me great advice on what needed to be done before adding more insulation. Have just completed those tasks and plan on calling them soon.

They are a great insulation company. They removed old Cellulose from attic and then blew in new insulation 11 inches in attic. They were very clean they used drop clothes on my staircase and covered carpet in areas they walked on. Very clean and professional. Very quick response in getting an estimate. I would definitely refer the. To all friends and family. Very pleased with there service.

Awesome service, Shawn from Koala was very professional and gave me the confidence that they will do a great job. Assessed my insulation and attic fan needs . Came out within two weeks and topped up my insulation and installed the attic fan. Small incident where the gentleman filling up my insulation stepped through the ceiling but they scheduled a drywall repair within 24 hrs and got it all squared away. Very reasonable and definitely recommend.

The crew from Koala did a fantastic job for us insulating a workshop (metal building) with closed cell spray foam. Being a metal building, the shop was unusable most of the year due to the extreme heat - basically an easybake oven! After installing the CC insulation, the shop cooled down to 75 on a 95 degree day in about 35 minutes. Wow! So CC foam is not the cheapest option, but for a metal building with all its ridges and gaps (and the way metal radiates the heat) it was by far the best choice. Instead of a metal building, I basically have an igloo now. I'm super happy with the job and the great work performed by Koala. I highly recommend them - great folks to work with and super friendly and professional installation crew.

We had the pleasure of meeting Ben, Jeremy and Oscar. Ben did a evaluation in our home attic after we explained him our situation and after a inspection he made some recommendations. My wife and I felt very comfortable with Ben for his recommendations we added more Insulation part of the house and 2 Solars Fan. Also Ben showed us the issues with one fan malfunction and the measurements of how much insulation we had. The day of Appointment, Technicians Jeremy and Oscar were the best technicians. Ben and Randy inspected my attic FREE of charge and provided an estimate. The work trailer has commercial grade equipment that got the job done right and expedient. They came out with more than enough work crew. After completion of the job, I was very pleased with the quality of work. They are a very professional and courteous company to work with. I was interested in having better insulation in my attic. Koala sent a representative to my home and he did a detailed inspection of my attic’s insulation. He sent me three estimates ranging from topping off existing insulation to complete removal of existing insulation and adding new. I thought the pricing was fair. We made our selection and the work was completed to our satisfaction. We’re looking forward to saving in our utility bill. I would recommend Koala for your insulation needs.
