We had insulation foam blown into our attic area. It was professionally done from initial consultation with Phil to the follow -up of the actual removal of the old fiberglass insulation to the actual install The process took a couple of half days. The decrease in cooling /heating bills were drastic following the install now that the attic no longer gets to 110 degrees or more during the summer and comfortable temperature during the colder months. We can now use the attic space for storage where we weren’t before due to the temperature swings. Money we’ll spent

I contacted mr Wheeler and made an appointment for a bid on insullating my attic. My wife had been wanting this done for 5 years. Phil came when he said and listened to what I wanted and told me the best way to do what I wanted and gave me an estimate. I had several estimates. Phil had the best presentation. The installer, Eric, arrived at my house on a very rainy day but worked through the downpour to install the insulation in both sides of my attic. Eric was very patient with all of my questions throughout the installation and answered each to my satisfaction. The full installation didn't take longer than 3 hours. The job site was left as it was found - clean. The price was reasonable and payment was done easily at the end of the job. I'm looking forward to the 1 yr, 5 yr, 10 yr checks to see how the insulation holds up.

We are very happy with the job Phil did for us. We got quotes from several companies and he was the most competitive. Phil was also the only one who had a presentation prepared to go over the process in detail. The crew showed up on time on both the removal day and installation day. They did have an equipment issue on the day of installation but came back out the next day on a Saturday and finished the job. We've noticed a substantial reduction in how much the furnace ran this winter with our heating bill being less than it was for last year even though the temps were a lot lower this year.

1994 home, with just the bare minimum of insulation (if that) in an expansive and hard-to-navigate attic. Phil Wheeler and his team were fantastic. Courteous, professional, thorough foam insulation install. Can't wait to reap the energy savings! No strong smell so did NOT need to vacate home.

Installers sprayed foam all over and around a furnace flue pipe even to where it was coming out of the outside roof boot for the flue. I had to cut the foam out from around the pipe to provide the necessary clearance and had to have my HVAC company replace the pipe. They also got foam on my AC/furnace unit, gas line and duct work. Called company and they said their head guy would be in contact. After 5 days of no call back I called again. They set up an appointment to fix the problem and after waiting all day for them they called at 4:30pm saying they were still 2 hours away. We then set up an appointment for the next day and they texted me in the AM saying they couldn't make it. Edit to add: As seen in their reply below the company offered to pay for the needed HVAC repair. I sent them a copy of the bill from the HVAC company as they requested and I never heard back from them or received payment.

To prepare our home for sale, I wanted to replace our attic insulation as there was evidence of a rat issue we had some years back. After considering doing the job myself, I realized this was a huge undertaking. I found Phil Wheeler Install and he made it so easy!! His company removes all the old insulation (along with the signs of rats) fills any and all holes that pests use to gain access and filled our attic with clean, new insulation and will return for TEN YEARS to make sure the same amount of insulation exists—and adds more if it has settled. We had a unique experience where both of our hvac units that controlled our upstairs went bad at the same time (they both had bad coils and were leaking Freon). This was happening just as Phil’s team was installing our spray foam insulation so we thought it was the insulation but it was actually an hvac issue. We replaced both hvac systems entirely and now our upstairs bedrooms are holding temperature even on hot days and the new units are not working very hard at all thanks to the insulation. Phil went above and beyond after the installation to help us and even brought his own hvac guy out to check our systems. He brought cleaners out to thoroughly clean up after his installers left and was available after hours to answer questions via text and phone. Phil says you don’t have to be out of the house during the install or after but we stayed out of the house for a solid 24 hours per spray foam manufacturer recommendation just to be safe. I do recommend you be out of the home for 24 hours as well. Thank you for going above and beyond Phil!

I wanted a specialist to install Denim insulation. Phil has had 30+ years experience w all types of insulation, so has experience with this product as well as an employee who has been w him for 20+ years. They were very accommodating and careful in their work. There were some issues, which can happen w this type of work, but Phil took care of it to my satisfaction. I am not one to write reviews. I feel that someone knows if their work is good. If it's not the customer will certainly let you know about it. That being said; yes, Phil Wheler Install was more than helpful with information about insulation types and services. The installers were extremely courteous, and good natured. I am grateful to them for moving down items that had been left in the attic by prior owners. I'm not sure there is much difference in the temperature of the garage; but the air conditoned part of the house definitely seems more comfortable. There hasn't been enough time to adequately determine cost effectiveness. The cost of overall service was reasonable compared to other estimates. I felt the extra charge for extending their usual business territory was somewhat excessive; but with my limited knowledge and Phil's apparently expertise knowledge in this service and product I chose his company for the work.

I spent about 10 months researching insulation companies, and around 7 quotes for open cell spray foam insulation for my attic. Our air handler is in the attic and in the peak summer heat, the temps approach 120 degrees. The air conditioner running 16 hours a day, and struggling to keep up. Phil came out and inspected what needed to be done to resolve this issue. Phil was knowledgeable knew the answers to our questions. We had open cell ICYNENE spray foam our entire attic sealing and encapsulating the space. I had one bonus room that was inaccessible from the main attic, that I removed sheetrock so the installers could spray foam the space. There was very little off gassing and smell. 6 hours after the spray foam the house could be occupied again. No odor. We've had a few hot days, and the attic would normally be over 90 degrees and temps have stayed a comfortable 76 degrees in the sealed attic. If you are looking for quality work, and doing the job right, I would not hesitate to call Phil Wheeler Install Insulation!

John was a great salesmen. His quote came in around the same price as the two other quotes I got. I went with them because they were blowing in more insolation and installing covers over any holes from electrical/hvac that led to the ground floor. They installed within 2 weeks of my initial consult. John and his crew were done in 3 hours. They were very professional setting up their worksite by applying drop clothes in my house. They even blew a few extra inches in spots. The 1,5 and 10 year inspection was a great selling point that no one else offered.

Phil Wheeler and his team were in and out in no time and insulated our attic during the winter time. The work was clean and no follow-up were needed. It took few days after the install to see a temperature variance of 2 degrees between the living space and the attic. The same variance was maintained through the summer time that kept the living space at acceptable range. I would recommend Phil for attic insulation work if are like me and want to save money and control the temperature between attic and living space.

The sprayfoam we had installed in the attic has made a huge difference with the comfort of our home. Both of our HVAC systems are in the attic which means the duct work was absorbing all the attic heat when the system would shut off. Our home easily gets down to 68 degrees now and are usually just running 1 system instead if both units. I am confident the sprayfoam will keep the heat in during the winter time as well. Phil checks all the boxes! Great experience and he and his crew were very professional. We discussed several insulation options and I chose the spray foam and glad I did. If you choose foam, just keep in mind that it will smell for a few weeks, but I think that's unavoidable. Also, we had an unusual issue that required a custom solution and Phil really handled it well. I will be calling him again for another project.

Spray Foam insulation into my existing home. I did a lot of research and got four Spray Foam quotes for my attic before deciding on Phil Wheeler. Phil was very helpful from the beginning answering all of my questions and promptly returning all of my phone calls personally. After obtaining several estimates from companies for open foam insulation for our roof deck, Phil Wheeler was the ultimate choice. He explained the process, the type of insulation to be installed, how long it would take to complete to job and answered all questions that we had about the process. On day one, His crew came in and removed the existing insulation, leaving no debris. On day two they came in and spray foamed the entire attic. Wheeler installed blow-in insulation for my 1,200 sq ft. home last year. I didn't post immediately because I wanted to experience in impact of how well the insulation worked through all the seasons. It worked great! I had old "pink stuff" in the attic that was 20 years old. Wheeler added the required amount of blow-in to get me up to standard. I can tell the different in the comfort of my home as well as my utility bills. The installers covered my hardwood floors where they had to work and cleaned up everything when finished. I'd recommend the company.
