This company is amazing. Removed all the nasty dusty and dirty old insulation from the 50s in my attic and replaced it with beautiful batting.. We couldn't be happier. Ricardo also sealed up my furnace ducting at no extra charge! On time and on budget, don't use anyone else

Eco Attic Systems with Eduardo and his crew did a PHENOMENAL job for us in two parts during our remodel. First off, they came and cleaned out the attic of all the 30 year old insulation and the incredible mess rats had made over the years. That was an UGLY job but they did it professionally with minimal mess and disruption. 7 months later they were back to re-install insulation through out the attic and over the garage. Once again the work was done without any issues.....On Time and .... On Budget. Thanks Eduardo, you and your team are the BEST!

I recently had my foundation inspected and learned that Eco Attic Systems installed earthquake proofing brackets that were unnecessary. The foundation inspector pointed out that my house was already bracketed down so I paid $3500 for something I didn't need. I have reached out multiple times to resolve this issue by email, and once by phone because I like to give people the benefit of the doubt but instead of getting an apology and a refund I got neither. I don't like to write negative reviews, but I feel like people should know to be careful with this company.

Eco Attic did a great job installing insulation throughout my home (attic, crawlspace and injected into walls). Eduardo was very helpful in identifying what would be most impactful within my budget and his team was very polite and professional. I appreciated his thorough communication and definitely recommend Eco Attic.

I had a challenging insulation project that included air-sealing and installing baffles in a tight space prior to blowing in cellulose. I initially used another company that completely botched the job (failed to air seal the perimeter and installed the baffles in a way that rendered them useless). I called Eduardo at Eco Attic and he was onsite in 2 hours, he looked over the space and agreed to do the job correctly for the same price. Their team came out the following week, they protected the floors and walls and sealed off the area where they were working to ensure that the insulation wouldn't enter our living space. They painstakingly air sealed the hard to reach perimeter as well as built custom baffles to ensure that the insulation would stay in place. Excellent company to work with, great attention to detail and a very fair price.

They communicated clearly and often about the process and kept the job site clean and tidy while they performed the work. I met Eduardo, the charismatic, hard working, young owner-operator of Eco Attics, and out of 4 estimates I got, he was the only owner doing the estimates himself, instead of sending some flunky who has never installed insulation. Eco Attics' bid was right in the middle, on the lower side of the range I anticipated. BUT: Eduardo was the only guy to explain everything in detail, to really educate me about attics and options. The research I did confirmed everything he told me. So, he had my trust. They arrived on time, 3 guys were able to work via an upstairs front window right near attic door instead of traipsing through the house, and set up a small, effective plastic "tent" right by the window. Eduardo was there at the beginning and end, and he texted me a ton of photos plus a video of the work from start to finish so I could see the whole process was executed as promised, and then some. They used Knaupf R38 batts instead of blow-in R38, it should provide the same result with less mess, and I can't wait to see what a difference this will make. Even the attic access door was replaced, it was just a piece of wood, and now it's insulated drywall, painted to match. My summer in this new townhome was murderously hot, and as it's getting cooler, the upstairs doesn't hold heat (it should be warmer, as warm air rises.). I'm expecting a huge improvement, as there were only poorly installed/insufficient batts and blow-in before, I assume batts were from 1966 when the place was built. The whole thing took 4 hours (it's maybe 750-800 sq. ft.), including cleaning out all old insulation and debris, air sealing evvverything (this is important!), then cutting and installing new batts. They never stopped until they were finished and everything was cleaned up, and it was just one truck. Eduardo made the whole thing simple, understandable, and fast-- once I accepted the electronic bid, they were here the NEXT DAY. Plus, he's fun to work with. It was a happy ending to a very frustrating and discouraging process of finding the right vendor.

Eco Attic Systems did an amazing job. I never thought the attic in my 1963 home could look brand new but after they cleaned it does. After a thorough cleaning the new insulation was expertly installed. In addition Eduardo was super responsive and we had a quote the same day and a clean attic a few days later. He worked with my contractor to get the insulation installed right on time. I can’t recommend them enough.

Eduardo removed the old disintegrated "insulation" in my attic and replaced it with new insulation. I found him to be very professional and honest. His workers were great as well. They did their best to minimize the disruption that naturally comes with vacuuming out insulation and working in the attic. I relied on online reviews to choose Eduardo, and he certainly lived up to the strong reviews. He's the closest thing to a warm referral. Don't wait. If your home lacks proper insulation, get it! I wish I had acted years ago. You will love the difference it will make.

I first met Eduardo, owner of Eco Attic Systems, almost 3 years ago. At that time we had a big mold problem in our house that we had just begun remediating. I had had the attic cleaned out of the dusty fiberglass blown + batt insulation and I was looking for a mold-resistant replacement. Eduardo was very patient and talked me through the different options that he's worked with in the past. In the end I settled on mineral wool insulation. I wanted to get special order formaldehyde free insulation so I ended up ordering what I needed myself. Fast forward a few years. I ended up not being able to install the insulation after I purchased it due to other work we were having done on our house. It had been a few years, so I looked around again to see who seemed to have the most experience with installing mineral wool insulation and again landed on Eduardo and Eco Attic Systems with the most mineral wool pictures on their website and Google/Yelp. I called up Eduardo and was able to set up a installation the following Monday. On the day of installation, Eduardo's guys met me at the storage unit where I was keeping all the insulation and made quick work of loading the bags we needed onto his truck. Before they started bringing the insulation in, they set up dust containment zones and dropcloths in all the working areas to limit the amount of insulation dust that got everywhere. As someone who has installed this mineral wool insulation elsewhere in my house, this was much appreciated as it significantly limited the amount of cleaning I had to do after the fact. I was really impressed by the thoroughness and speed that they were able to set up the containment. They were able to insulate both of my attics (total 1300 sq ft) in just 5-6 hours. This was despite my insulation being 16" wide and not the 24" between trusses in my attic, resulting in a lot more cuts. The result was a very neat installation that went all the way to the edges. Again, as someone who has installed this insulation and has crawled around in my attic to do other work, it was impressive how neat the job was and that they were able to get the insulation to the hard-to-reach corners. I still have no idea how they managed to do that, but professionals have their professional techniques to make it happen. After the installation, Eduardo's guys even followed me back to my storage unit and unloaded the unused insulation back into my unit for me. Overall I had a great experience with Eduardo and Eco Attic Systems. Great service, reasonably priced, and a fantastic result. Highly recommend!

Eduardo and his team came to my house recently. I had my crawl space re-insulated with spray foam. We re-used the fairly new batting insulation to enhance the attic space. They also installed some bathroom fan ventilation ducts. Super friendly team who cleaned up after themselves throughout the job. I highly recommend Eduardo and his team.

Edwardo and his crew were amazing. They built a brand new access door to our attic, removed all the old insulation and rolled out new insulation. They worked an entire Saturday in the heat and did a meticulous job. My husband is in the trades and checked all their work when they were done and was 100% satisfied with their work. I highly recommended this very hard working crew. Their prices are also very fair.

I couldn't recommend Eduardo and his team more! Where should I even start? 1) fair, honest, quick estimate process; they came in soon after the reach out; gave his honest opinion on the different options without trying to mislead 2) they even fixed something for us during the estimate meeting 3) extremely clean, created a corridor for the replace process; always removed their shoes; always vacuumed and cleaned afterwards 4) stellar communication from Eduardo's part 5) not trying to rush us in any way, shape or form; even doing a lot of the prerequisite work without asking for advance pay 6) super fast 7) in general going away and beyond (e.g. offering to help us with an unrelated task we had on our hands, for free) Honestly, I'm sad they're not providing other services as well, as I'd hire them for that too.

Had my home insulation replaced, as well as some ducting work done and I'm very happy with the results. Eduardo and team were professional, kept the house clean with good prep(plastic liners throughout), pricing was competitive, and good communication from estimate to completion. Couldn't ask for more. I've noticed significant decreases in my energy bills as well as much more comfortable temps during heatwaves.

I’ve hired Eco Attic Systems twice. Once on behalf of a client ( they removed insulation pre an electrical upgrade) and once personally. I live in a duplex that does not have AC. During the June/July heatwave my landlord next door was really suffering from the heat. He has special needs and no family or support. Eduardo arrived the day that I contacted him. He gave me a discount so I could afford to insulate the attic that had very little insulation. (1951 duplex) He sent two guys that same afternoon to blown in 10 inches in insulation. A 5 star business. A business with a heart and willing to help.

All of my other Google reviews are strongly positive--I like to make sure good service providers are recognized. I had a prior service provider do a bad job on my attic. Eduardo assured me that Eco Attic Systems would do a first-rate job. Unlike several other reviewers, I had a terrible experience with Eduardo/Eco Attic Systems. The "firm" I interacted with does not seem to be the same as that described by other reviewers. In my experience, Eduardo/Eco Attic Systems is not a professional attic service firm. His behavior is erratic. It's an up-front payment scheme. Here is a summary of my experience. Eduardo--very enthusiastic to bid on my attic rodent problem. My first visit with him went quite well. * He came to my house promptly. * He was friendly & eager to do the work, and promised to do it well. * He proudly emphasized he brought himself to the US, learned the trade, and earned a California State License Board ("CSLB") contractor's license. * He separated out costly attic insulation replacement from rodent exclusion (which gave me confidence in his genuine concern). * He proudly described the unique rodent exclusion technique he developed (some novel mix of wood & concrete) * He quoted a competitive bid. The only variable was the duration of a warranty. (Not in writing). * He promised to provide me with a full written report, including photos, of the work. * He commented on how badly a prior service provider had tried to do the same work for me previously, promised to provide me with a written report (with photos) of that work, and suggested that I report the prior service provider to the CSLB After that visit, things were quite different. I did hire Eduardo, but the work was incomplete/incompetent (even he said that), and it failed. * DOCUMENTATION * I asked him for a written summary of the work he proposed to do. He would not put anything in writing. So I wrote and sent him by text message a summary of the work I thought the job would entail--he sort of agreed. But getting paperwork from him was not possible (other than a few logistics text messages). * PERSONNEL & COMMUNICATION * Eduardo did not come to my house during the two times his workers were on site. * He instead sent 2 workers to my house--I don't know if they were his employees or freelancers. Neither worker spoke any English. I couldn't figure out what they would do or their progress. * Eduardo did not supervise nor inspect their work. I wanted to do a walk-through with Eduardo, but he was not interested. * PAYMENT * Eduardo wanted full payment upfront. I agreed to pay half up front and half upon receipt of (1) a written summary of the work that was performed, (2) a report of the prior service provider's substandard work, and (3) a walk-through with Eduardo. None of those ever resulted and I never paid him the second payment--he dIdn't seem to care about that nor the work he did at my house. * RESULTS * There are several odd-looking wooden boxes sitting about my roof in areas where roof surfaces intersect. The wood color does not match that of the roof. I guess that is his innovative technique. * The work failed after about 5 months--rodents returned to my attic. Eduardo was reluctant to do anything, but eventually made the drive to my house, I guess out of some concern for a warranty pledge. He walked around and observed that his workers only installed those innovative boxes at the attic level and did not seal ground-level holes on the perimeter of my house. So he and his assistant went to Home Depot to buy sealant. And did some sealing--I guess. Again, no report, no summary. * It failed a second time (within the first year) and rodents returned a month or two ago. Eduardo has not responded to repeated phone calls, text messages, nor e-mail messages for 2 months. * I will now hire a real and professional attic repair company to complete the job at my house I checked on the Company and found strange results: • Claims to be in Corte Madera, but registered in Richmond. • CSLB license # on his own website is expired & for painting.

Eco Attic Systems was awesome. Eduardo came on time and even took photos. I was shocked at how much lint was cleaned out. A friend had a dryer fire and this prompted me to have the dryer vent cleaned. I highly recommend Eco Attic Systems.

There's a good reason why Eco Attic Systems has a five star rating....his name is Eduardo. He is the owner of this local small business. I recently reached out to him because my 1960's Kenney built home had a terrible insulation and critter mess in the attic. As an electrician who is in the midst of a complete home rewire, I am spending a ridiculous amount of time up there. The old blown insulation and rat droppings would leave me sneezing, itchy, and just overall irritated. Additionally I can only imagine what that stuff was doing to the air quality of my home so I decided to have it removed. I called a few contractors but Eduardo was the most responsive, professional, and knowledgeable about his craft. Somehow he was also the most reasonably priced. His excellent crew came out the next day at 8:00 am, worked hard until 5:00, and left the place cleaner than before they arrived. I'm leaving the attic without insulation until I finish my work, at which point I will consult Eduardo about installing a healthier hemp insulation. In summation I would highly recommend Eduardo with Eco Attic Systems for any of your insulation needs. He is precisely what I look for when trying to find a local contractor here in Marin County. I look forward to working with his company for many years to come.

Eco Attic Systems insulated our attic recently, and my husband and I could not be happier! Eduardo Fernandez and his crew were incredibly professional, thorough, efficient. I can't recommend them highly enough.

I hired Eduardo and his company to replace inadequate insulation in my cottage attic. He found rats had taken up home there! So, first he patched their entry points, set traps, caught another, did even more patching, caught none. This was a couple months process. Once we were sure all the rat access points were blocked the R-38 insulation went in. He has guaranteed the work and the pest removal and will return if needed. Work was done cleanly and cleanup exemplary. I’ll have them back this summer to install a vapor barrier and insulation in my crawl space.

We highly recommend Eduardo and Eco Attic Systems! We initially called them when I accidentally pulled our dryer out too far to retrieve an object that had fallen behind and, in doing so, completely severed the exhaust hose. Eco Attic was able to come within a day’s notice and did an excellent job replacing it. While they were here I asked them if they were also able to replace our bathroom exhaust fan and run it through the roof. They came back the following week and replaced it with the quietest bathroom fan on Earth - we are so pleased with the results! As we have an old house, we are looking to get the insulation replaced in our garage (in our quest to turn it into an ADU) and also finish our attic with stairs and plywood. When the time comes, Eco Attic will be our first call!

They additionally replaced my old dangerous vents with safe "Vulcan" brand vents that will prevent embers from blowing in if there is ever a wildfire. Had a great experience with Eco Attic System! They did my attic insulation as well as my crawlspace insulation. Additionally they did pest removal as well. As part of their warranty they have come back numerous times to ensure that there were no more mice in our house. The only thing is that they are a bit slow to respond, and the rebate takes longer than you would expect, but overall this is overshadowed by the quality and commitment to their work!

We had an excellent experience with Eduardo and his team. We had fairly thin fiberglass insulation in the crawl space under two bedrooms in the house that needed some updates, as they were original to the house from 1995. Eduardo scoped out the area, showed us photos and video of the space, and walked us through all of the available options we had. We ended up going with spray foam insulation, and he and his team did an excellent job (laid down covering on the floor, put up plastic on all of the doors and sealed everything off, left the place as clean as they found it). I highly recommend Eduardo and his team for any work you need to get done!

The owner, Eduardo, is the main reason for the 5/5 review. He was honest, professional, reasonably priced, timely, punctual, responsive, knowledgeable, and an overall good man. He and his crew did my attic installation, crawl space insulation, duct work, rodent and air proofing. They arrived on time, sealed up the work areas to avoid dust, worked hard all day, answered all our questions, finished early, and cleaned up after themselves. The house is changed entirely due to the insulation installation. You can feel the difference. Cannot recommend this guy and company enough.

Our experience with Eco Attic Systems was great from start to finish. We had to clean out our old insulation that was covered in debris from our roof replacement in preparation for an update of our old knob-and-tube wiring. Eduardo outlined the process clearly—the explanations on his website and YouTube really helped, too--and he never tried to oversell his services. His positive energy and commitment to quality made it easy for us to choose his services. On job day, the crew was efficient and responsive to our needs. Eduardo and his crew were beyond amazing. We had them install new r44 cellulose insulation to thermally protect our attic for summer and winter time. They also air sealed and re did the old 1960s duct work in the attic that was rusted and leaking ton of air into the attic. Great job eco attic systems
