I can’t recommend the Bird Family Insulation team enough. They were prompt, professional, and extremely friendly. We called them because our newborn’s nursery was consistently 3–5 degrees colder than the rest of the floor. After hearing our concerns, they thoroughly inspected and triple-checked the area above the room to ensure it was fully sealed and properly insulated. Once the work was completed, the nursery now holds temperature exactly as it should. Despite the inherently messy nature of insulation work, they left the house spotless. They were a great team to work with, and we will absolutely use them again in the future.

Very nice employees, they worked efficiently and neatly and were here on time. The difference in the temperature of the inside of the home was instantly apparent. My energy bill has gone down. I had what I thought was an area that needed some more insulation, and they came out and determined that it was actually a duct problem with the AC unit. Very honest.

10/10! 5 stars! This summer (2025) has been ruthless so far and it's not even July! I called Bird Family Insulation on Monday, got a quote on Tuesday, and completely insulated my attic by Thursday. Not only did they insulate my entire attic but they also removed all of my old insulation as well. They were timely, professional, honest, and affordable! ALSO, they are family-owned which I love to see! Most of the people that you will deal with are family. No sneaky, sleazy contractor trying to squeeze the most money out of you. 10/10 would recommend!

Ten years ago I contracted with BFI to improve my attic insulation and seal off the attic to reduce the load on my HVAC unit that was installed in the attic. They also improved the insulation on "knee wall" areas. After ten years, nothing has ever needed correction. I contracted with BFI again to do the same with my newly purchased home. From estimate to install was less than a week. Family owned and extremely friendly, but more importantly, experts. Excellent work, honest interactions, friendly service, respectful of the home, clean up after, and all at a fair price. I highly recommend BFI.

I have used Bird Family Insulation twice and highly recommend their services. I've done a bump up on a townhouse as well as a full removal and replacement of attic insulation and a bonus room insulation in our home. Impeccable communication, good value, but most importantly amazing customer service. They literally didn't finish until I was 100% satisfied, even returning on a separate visit to address one of my questions. The difference in indoor air quality, humidity, and temperature is dramatic (both times).

The entire process was made easy. They were knowledgeable, friendly, communicative, fast, and budget friendly. Residential attack insulation took about 2.5 hours to complete. They also made us aware of any rebates that we may be eligible for based on the project that we completed. I will always use them and recommend them for any insulation related needs.

The Bird Insulation team tackled my air sealing and insulation project with me earlier this year (February 2025) on my 1944 single floor home. We decreased my power and gas bills by 30+%. The scope of the project included removing all the old fiberglass insulation, air sealing around ALL ceiling openings, and installations cellulose to R-40. Removal of the old insulation was a couple hour process. They were diligent enough to get under the existing HVAC walkway. They then gave me a couple of days between the removal and follow up installation to tackle some HVAC items I had planned. Installation went as well as the removal. They efficiently air sealed the ceiling openings, treated the space with a disinfectant, and added the cellulose. The dust generation was limited as they mix the insulation with a small amount of water. They installed my attic stair tent and sealed that as well. We reduced our power bills by 30+% while also making the home more comfortable (reduced air draft). A win-win all around. Communication was great through the whole process. I couldn’t have asked for a better experience.

I applied for the EASE program through Georgia Power for home energy improvements for my elderly parents home they recently purchased in Jonesboro at the end of last year; Bird Family Insulation ended up being the subcontractor who serviced our home and I can’t say enough great things about the experience; The technicians were extremely respectful. Allen, I believe his name was, was so respectful in our home and took so much care interacting with both of my elderly parents and also explaining to me in detail and terms I could understand my the different tests they were running for assessment and how/why they were adding insulation/sealing air gaps, etc; also gave me a bunch of great advice for changing out air filter as it is not a standard size, and much more; they did such a great job and even installed a new WIFI thermostat . I don’t think I have ever recommended a company as much as I HIGHLY RECOMMEND Bird Family Insulation for any and all of your insulation/energy improvement needs. They even changed a dead lightbulb in the garage! Amazing attention to detail. I appreciate the heck outta this company!

We had Bird Family Insulation give us a quote 5 years ago. We decided to hold off at the time to get a renovation done. Renovation was completed and they were the first company they called. The on-line estimate was a great jumping off point. They came out quickly to give us the official quote and then we had our new insulation in less than a week. Daryl did an incredible job cleaning and sanitizing our ducts. He was polite and professional from start to finish and his work was proficient. One of our ducts had detached in my daughters' bedroom, causing air conditioning not to flow. Daryl repaired the air duct and now the room is cool again. Needed insulation upgrade in the attic at my new residence. Called another company first. Since I didn't know a lot about insulation, I decided to call Bird for a second opinion. Chris was extremely polite, knowledgeable and on time. The first company I called laid out a few options, but recommended foam--which is also the most expensive method. Chris suggested cellulose. When I asked Chris if foam was appropriate for my attic, he readily acknowledged that his home uses foam, but foam would be overkill when cellulose does as good a job at a fraction of the cost. That very moment when was Bird Insulation won my business. Rather than opt for what made him the most money, he instead chose professional honesty. On installation day, Beau was also courteous and extremely polite. Before the cellulose upgrade, the upper level of my condo was so hot without AC running, the thermostat read hotter than the outside air temperature. Since the cellulose was laid down, the upstairs is far more tolerable and thermostat temperature is pretty close to the air temperature. I owe that to Bird's good work. I also thank Bird for doing the right professional thing, rather than lining their pockets.

Highly recommended Bird insulation. Beau was very thorough from the first phone call. Beau and his crew removed the old insulation R30 batts 24"x48" and sprayed in the new. My attic is cool now even when it's 100° degrees outside My a/c isn't running all day. One of my attic entrances is in the garage (pictured) and they installed this very nice zipper door to prevent heat from getting in from the garage.

I'm very glad I found these guys. Attic in my home needed to get redone and was looking for someone to do the job. First Chris came out for the inspection, then about one week later. Hi there! I wanted to share my positive experience with Bird Family Insulation. These guys are truly amazing! A couple of years ago, I had insulation blown into my attic, and it has made a huge difference. From my first contact with Bob, the owner, to his sons, Beau and Chris, who did an excellent installation job, everything was perfect. They also noticed that the roof decking needed to be replaced in certain areas and provided me with the contact information of a reliable roofer who could help with the repairs. Bob's daughter, Courtney, is in charge of the office, and she was incredibly helpful with scheduling the appointment, email correspondences, and anwering my questions. I live in a house originally built in the 1940s that has vaulted ceilings in the living room and an electric heat pump. Our house just would not stay warm in the winter and can get overly warm in the summer. In order to avoid $400 electric bills each month during the winter, we just set our HVAC to a low temperature and lived off of space heaters. I researched cellulose vs. fiberglass vs. spray foam extensively and chose cellulose for the r-value benefits over fiberglass and for the lower cost vs. spray foam. Since the Bird Family installed an attic bump-up, the HVAC that used to run 10+ hours a day with no real results has run, I kid you not, maybe less than 2 hours a day. We are now warm and happy and can actually sit in the living room comfortably. I can't wait to see how it performs in the summer but I have high hopes. Highly recommended. I live close to a busy highway with a house in direct sunlight all day long on 3 sides. I have an electric heat pump and high ceilings and a 20-year-old home. I could not get comfortable in my home no matter the weather, even after replacing the heat pump - so I went to Bird Insulation for a solution and I am SO glad I did. The Bird Family team did exactly what they said they would do in their detailed quote for my home's attic top-off. The team was on time, flexible, efficient, courteous and concerned that I was satisfied with the work. The price was reasonable and within my "senior budget" and I did not feel pressured at any time. The Bird family are honest, trustworthy, punctual and ethical people. Beau was very professional during my estimate and transparent on pricing and options. During installation, they maintained a clean workspace in my yard and home. They really treated my property like their own. I am amazed at what a difference insulating certain areas of my home made! No more upstairs bedrooms too hot or too cold. This company really stepped up for me ! I purchased a house that turned out to have uneven areas of heating and cooling. An energy audit revealed I had pockets of limited Insulation behind some walls and ceilings. The whole Bird family is incredibly kind and knowledgeable about insulation. I live in a historic house and I had a lot of questions and Chris and Beau both helped give thorough recommendations for the best way to insulate my attic. I felt like they really knew what they were talking about and that I could trust their suggestions. Bird Family insulation company is top notch! After inspecting the attic in my home, they explained everything they saw good and bad, as well as details of what should or could be done. Bird Family gave me a couple of options with no pressure about choosing what I needed or could afford. My job was a total of two days which included taking out the old insulation and sealing every crack or crevice and double checking to make sure there were no problems. After some additional research and my conversations and consultation with Bob, I am glad that I selected them. Bob and his family-owned company are a great business and such great human beings. During Bob’s initial consultation, we talked, and he was very patient with all of the questions that I asked and very detailed in what services would be provided, the company process and what I should expect. My package included removal of old insulation and replaced with new. Beau and John completed my services as they went above and beyond the requested services. During the process, a broken dryer vent was discovered. I didn’t expect that they would repair it, but they did without hesitation. Amazing experience from the initial quote to the final cleanup. Chris, was very knowledgeable and provided us several options to tackle our issue. We decided to have the vent ducts going into the bonus room over our garage insulated because the ac unit wasn’t cooling of the space sufficiently. On the day of service, Bo arrived early layed down the floor covering to protect our floors and got to work. The room is now comfortable and suitable for our son during these extreme temperatures. The room went from being almost 90 degrees to now reaching the set thermostat temp of 72 degrees. We highly recommend this faith based professional business.

Bob and his family are a fantastic company to work for. After a year of owing our home we knew that we needed to bump up the insulation in our attic. After getting an estimate over the phone, Bob came out to get a more exact number. We then agreed on a date that worked with our schedule. The insulation bump up was done quickly and handled with care. I'm glad to have found Bird insulation as we have definitely noticed a difference from the past year temperature wise in the upper portion of our house.

He was very knowledgeable and provided a lot of good advice. Cost was reasonable for the project. We probably talked to 5 different insulation companies, and made the easy decision to go with Bird. From start to finish, everyone you interact with are genuinely good people and the guys really take pride in their work. We had some old house challenges, and they tackled it all with no problem. I had a truly great experience working with Bird Insulation! They are a family business, and it's evident they all take pride in their work. From the moment I initially called to inquire about their services, I was impressed. Bob Bird came out and discussed his recommendations on adding additional insulation to my 40 year old attic. This included the actual insulation, as well as some other items he thought would better insulate the upstairs level in my home. He took the time to explain everything he was suggesting, and the reasons he was suggesting it. Bob is a super personable guy and will thoroughly answer any questions you have. They were great at communicating, showed up exactly when they said they would, and did a quality job. All for a price I thought was very reasonable. What more could you ask for?!? I have definitely noticed a difference in the amount of time my upstairs A/C unit runs since the additional insulation was put in. Seems like it's running about 1/3 less time throughout the day. It hasn't been long enough for me to analyze the power bills yet, but I have no doubt it will make a difference. If you have any insulation needs, call the folks at Bird. You won't regret it! My only regret is that I didn't call them sooner!

I was very pleased with Bird Insulation. They did an outstanding job and left no mess. Our attic now has so much more usable storage area and our house feels noticeably cooler. I felt very comfortable with everyone who came to my home from Bob Bird, who explained the options and process, to the rest of the "family" who came in to perform the removal, build up installation of the floor area, and the insulation install. I recently had the excellent experience of working with Bird Family Insulation. Our upstairs was getting way too warm in the summertime and so we had Bob out for a consultation. As a testament to his honesty and integrity, he informed us that the biggest source of our comfort problems was actually the upstairs HVAC design; he recommended another contractor to do that part of the work and in so doing, his portion of the overall work was significantly lowered, but he felt like it was the right thing to do. It is rare you find a business owner with that type of integrity but that is the Bird family. Once their work was complete, we received a complete walkthrough/inspection and found their workmanship to be superb. If you need insulation work done, I can't recommend them enough.

I'm writing this a year later. The Bird family installed insulation and a french drain in our basement to stop flooding in a matter of days. They're work was phenomenal and a year later the insulation is definitely doing its job. I'm thrilled with their work and highly recommend them. They're incredibly professional, caring, and responsive. They came out to scope out the space and gave us some advice on our air circulation system too! Definitely use their services and you will be highly satisfied in the long term.

We had Bird Family re-insulated our attic after a recent mold issue. Mr. Bird is an extremely kind and professional man and I appreciate that it is a true family run business as his son did the installation. It is clear from all their communication that they really know what they are doing. We have a very steep driveway which made it extremely complicated for the installation team- they earned their pay that day but still finished ahead of schedule. I'd strongly recommend them for any insulation needs.

I used Bird Family Insulation for a small, but specialized job, to insulate new duct work we had installed in our attic. After calling multiple companies, they were the only ones who even understood what needed to be done. They came to my home early on appointment day and completed the work. I found Bird Family to be knowledgeable, professional and very nice. I love the fact that the whole family is involved in the business. Bird Family Insulation did an excellent job spray foaming the attic of our brick ranch home. They were timely, honest, polite and very respectful of our home during the job. We've loved our spray foam insulation and are happy we went with them. We had one minor issue arise and they came out to resolve it immediately. Very professional company, highly recommended.

They did an awesome job on insulating my attic space, there is a huge difference from the before and after. I was able to send some pictures in as I had a home evaluation done and they could see the work that was needed, I needed almost an extra R-40 from the R-10 that was in my attic before. After explaining was I wanted done I was given many options as to what I wanted to do. I got air sealing done and also the adding of cellulose insulation. They were able to work me into there busy schedule and got the work done in the matter of a few hours. Can't wait to see the benefit of the added insulation down the road! I highly recommend there work and being very professional! Also to mention the "Bob Bird Warranty" they provide on there work which is like no other insulation installer, just ask they will let you know! The timing of the installation was prompt and flexible - due to my need to change the date a couple of times to accommodate other vendors. The actual installation was excellent. The team was on time, worked very hard and finished ahead of schedule. They were very courteous and professional. There were no "gotcha" price changes. It was one of the best vendor experiences I have had during a recent home makeover. I would recommend them highly.

We hired Bird to remove the existing insulation in our attic. Not only were they the best price, but I am confident that they provided better service than any of the other options would have. Bob, Beau, and Jacob were all very friendly and respectful of the need to socially distance. They did excellent work and even finished well ahead of schedule while still managing to remove just about every little scrap of the old insulation. After the job was done, they sent us a handwritten thank you note. I was particularly impressed by Bob’s honesty. Bob risked losing my business by explaining how I would be able to remove the insulation myself, because he cared about what is best for me as a consumer. What a great experience! Every part of the process with Bird Family Insulation was a pleasure. Each team member was responsive, timely, and professional in all their communications and interactions with us. We dealt directly with Bob (initial quote), Savannah (scheduling/payment), Beau (installation), and Chris (installation). Both days they were at our home the crew arrived early and was ready to go! Our project took a day and half to complete. At the start of each day Beau provided a realistic timeline of what was going to be accomplished that day, who would be in our home, and answered the few questions we had. Beau and Chris were both very knowledgeable on the process and product. You can tell by the way they interact with customers (and in front of customers) they take their profession seriously. Interval update: SERVICE RECOVERY I have had an awesome experience even after insulation . I noted a ceiling leak and called the guys up . They scheduled and urgent visit out to avoid as much damage as possible Beau came out and looked and the ceiling and made a plan of action fast as possible. . Beau and Bob Came and worked away only to HELP me figure out the insulation was so good I actually had a roof leak undiagnosed. The Roof leak was repaired and The bird family even fix the area of damage for me for Free what a family I highly recommend the Bird Family. They are an awesome family and just the nicest people. The Bird Family experience was AWESOME from start to finish. I moved into a renovated ranch that was doubled in size and felt like the existing insulation was sub par. I reached out to several insulation companies both large and small. They All responded but the customer service from The Bird Family was undeniable, from the moment Savannah calls to schedule your home visit you know you made the right decision Great personality . Jacob came out within a matter of days and did such a thorough assessment of my needs and even answer questions I had outside of the foam quote. Jacob is Great guy and great personality such personal touch to such a serious financial decision . We chose to go with foam and so glad we did best investment ever. We had a great experience with Bird Family Insulation. They did a very thorough inspection of our attic space and helped us come up with a plan that met our needs and our budget. The installation process went smoothly and everyone was kind and very professional. I would definitely recommend them to anyone. We are very pleased with the final product.

So happy I chose Bird Family Insulation to do a full foam encapsulation on my attic. On the first visit Brian spend so much time with me to go over all my issues and questions I was having with my Attic that I felt completely informed after. I decided to do the full foam option and I am so happy I did. The two folks that sprayed my foam Nate and Rodney where awesome. Very professional and stand up guys. In fact, every person that worked on my job was great. I would hire every one of them if I had my own business! I have a large attic and struggled in the summer to keep my house under 80 even with two brand new Trane HVAC systems. The issue was my attic. It normally would hit 120 to even 140 degrees there in the summer where all my duct work was sitting. The day after my foam was completed we had a nice hot 91-degree day outside. My attic never got over 80 degrees the whole day! I was finally able to keep upstairs and downstairs at 72 degrees vs the normal 79/80 on a day like that. I would recommend these guys for ANY job you wanting to do as they are the real deal!!!
