I looked at several different companies reviews when I came across ACS. One review stuck out to me so I called them. It was a review that said “LGBTQ+ friendly”. Does that matter to me, yea, kinda, but what matters most to me is they don’t judge others before they know them. You see, being a lesbian is not a big deal. What matters these days is ….my name is Karen. Now, before you go judging, I’m a nice Karen. I’m not a Karen from the internet. And when they answered the phone that was the first thing I let them know. The lady laughed. I was so relieved. She transferred me over to Josh- which I again explained my name. He too laughed. We scheduled an apt for Josh to come give me a quote. It was much quicker than I thought it would be and he was on time and very pleasant. He didn’t even flinch when I went to shake his hand. Once he realized I was a NICE Karen, who wasn’t recording his every move and threatening to call his manager, he totally relaxed. He got in- gave me a quote and I accepted it that day. A week later three other guys came out and encapsulated the space. And those three guys were soooo nice. At first, I thought they’d be scared of “Karen” but when I showed them my Nice Karen side, we chatted and laughed and had a grand ole time. They were such nice young men. Very respectful , very personable, smiled, were polite. The whole interaction from start to finish was more than I could ask for. I was so scared to call anyone, I knew the crawlspace was a problem but to have to go through the judgements and the cost and the extra money people tack on because they are dealing with a “A Karen” - I just didn’t wanna deal with it. But Josh and his team were amazing. They didn’t treat me like a Karen. They were kind, and funny, honest, hardworking. They didn’t make me feel badly for who I am. So. Thank you!!!! He explained the pictures and spoke to me about all possible scenarios. No fluff additions were made to the estimate at time of service. I first used them July 2016 and had some water damage in my crawl space and needed to also get them back out . I couldn’t remember when and who did my crawl space. The movers had to pack up my house and the invoice from American crawl space solutions was left behind and when I picked it up I was so happy it was the invoice. I immediately called the company and scheduled a date for them to come out. Josh came out and I was satisfied with the date to start the job. Back in 2020 I bought an old house that needed help. I had American Crawlspace Solutions fix my sagging floor and encapsulate the crawlspace. The guys that came out did an amazing job and carried out the installation with the utmost courtesy and professionalism. Had the entire crawl space encapsulated. Very happy with the job they did on that. But I also had a support beam placed underneath the kitchen and the installers jacked it up too much and screwed up a lot of things in the house. Not really satisfied with their resolution of this problem.

Because of insurance requirements, I contacted ACS about an uneven walkway. The sales Reps, Joel Tobias and Josh, were very professional and were able to give us an estimate that was reasonable for what we required. They were very friendly and took all the time we needed, answering questions. Joel followed up with texts and phone calls. When the techs came to do the work today, we were so impressed, we had them do an additional job. Jordon and Kyron were just as impressive as Joel and Josh were. We are pleased with the results and will use them again should the need arise.

I had mildew around my A/C vents upstairs which ended up being caused from too much humidity in my crawlspace. I also had some drainage issues, so I was calling landscapers and talked to them about the crawlspace.They didn't do crawlspaces, but gave me a personal recommendation for a guy named Michael. I called and found out that he worked with American Crawlspace Solutions. Michael came out, took time to access the problem and provided solutions. He sent a "good/better/best" quote. His responsiveness, straight answers to ALL my questions, and ability to work within my budget won me over (I had quotes from three other companies). The date was set, texts clearly communicated the next steps. Jordan and his team sent an ETA text, arrived on time, worked diligently for over 5 hours straight, were very friendly and professional, and thoroughly cleaned up before they left. It was a seamless, stress-free process from start to finish.

My entire interaction with American Crawlspace Solutions was everything I could hope for. My first interaction was with Joel, the sales person. Joel was more of a counselor than a sales person. He listened carefully to my concerns, issues, and objective about my crawlspace. We actually sat in the crawlspace together and discussed the entire situation. Joel spent another 30 to 45 minutes evaluating the crawlspace, determining the area of the problem and presenting multiple options. He also spent another 30 to 45 minutes explaining everything to my wife and me. With Joel's assistance, we agreed on a solution and a price.<br><br>Within a couple of hours, I received a call from Michael to schedule the work. Another impressive conversation that showed an interest in making sure that a time and date were totally compatible with my schedule. I called American Crawlspace along with two other companies for a pretty rush job to perform mold mitigation and encapsulate the crawlspace of my townhome. This was something that needed to be done very quickly and thoroughly as part of the buyer’s request while selling the home. American Crawlspace’s quote was almost HALF the price for the same work quoted by another company, but I didn’t decide to choose them just based on price, as the third company’s quote was slightly lower. However, Mike at American Crawlspace reached out quickly and scheduled a time to come inspect for an estimate. He contacted me the same day, within a couple hours of the time he inspected the house to discuss some options. I then received a written, detailed (by line item) quote the SAME day! They required a 10% deposit to start the work, got it done within my timeline (one week), and did a great job. I was able to pay by credit card online via the estimate for both the deposit and the final payment once work was completed. The buyer is very happy with the work.<br><br>The company that provided the most expensive quote took a couple of days to provide the estimate, gave me a price with no description of the services, then when I asked for a detailed estimate, they sent some generic bullets of a “typical job” in a text. They also wanted half of the total paid up front as the deposit. They couldn’t even provide a final cost, just a “Not to Exceed” number, nor a specific date they would start the work. The third company took several days to provide a quote. They did provide a lower quote with some detail but were not going to do the same level of work.<br><br>American Crawlspace was fast, efficient, thorough, cost-effective, and professional. They made everything super easy, and I would highly recommend them for this type of work. Mike, especially, was very responsive and very tolerant of my anxious questions. Pick them!

After having to crawl in my crawl space to fix a leak I decided to give Crawlspace Solutions a call. Responded quickly and gave me options with cost. Chris Osburn was a super guy to work with.<br>Once we signed the contract the installation techs were on site, on time when scheduled and couldn't have been more pleasant. Three contractors came to estimate the cost of leveling the foundation for my floor. The fourth one, Michael, did not disappoint. I inquired into using American Crawlspace Solutions to encapsulate my crawlspace to help with humidity. In their inspection they noticed that there was water damage present in the crawlspace; being skeptical, I did not believe them. However, when a storm came through I checked the crawlspace and there was water down there. I had them update my services and they installed a sump pump. The crew were wonderfully respectful and friendly. I was very pleased with the service.

My experience with this company and their employees was really positive. I have unfortunately made a bad hire or two over the years with contractors of various sorts and then some good ones. A previous different crawl space company hire was likely one of my worst (I will refrain from naming), but American Crawlspace Solutions could be one of my best and I wish that I had called them to begin with.<br><br>My sales rep. Michael was great from the start and spent a great deal of time on the phone and in person in our home explaining information in depth. Once a plan was determined, he provided reasonable pricing and got us on the schedule quickly. His crew had to make two different trips to complete the job and they were on time and very courteous and professional and left their work area likely better than they found it. The crew leaders were Zach and Jeffery and assisted by Jordan and Mike. I would certainly recommend these guys and would use them again in the future. These guys were great! We recently purchased a cabin in the woods. There were some water issues in the crawl space and Chris from American Crawl Space came out and we discussed a solution. There was no pressure, just a lot of good information.<br><br>I opted for complete encapsulation of the space and the guys that came out to install it were amazing. Cheerful, hard working guys that did a great job - they were even able to keep the plastic clean despite torrential rain. They were covered head to toe with red clay, my crawl space was not. This is the second time I have used American Crawlspaces Solutions to encapsulate the crawlspace. The entire team is always professional and great! They had to mitigate water intrusion during heavy rains with a temporary sump pump and return once the soil was dry to finish the install. They have answered 101 questions from me during the process. ACS, specifically Michael, has done a great job on both of my homes in Atlanta. The cleanliness, dryness of my encapsulated crawlspace sold my first home quickly. A healthy, dry crawlspace is a competitive advantage in the housing market where so many crawlspaces are wet with debris, pests, and mold. In my new home I had a sloping backyard, some light mold in the floor joists, and some cupping hardwood floors. A drainage trench around the perimeter, full encapsulation with a dehumidifier was the answer. I now feel great about my air quality and the health of my home's foundation.

Several years ago, American Crawlspace Solutions remedied a water problem under our house which included a French drain, encapsulation, sump pump, and dehumidifier. Their work was excellent, and we were very satisfied. Since the initial job they have serviced the equipment with the same professionalism. When our dehumidifier recently malfunctioned, August 2023, American Crawlspace Solutions came out immediately to resolve the issue. The humidifier was within weeks of warranty expiration, but they acted quickly and resolved the problem. We have found American Crawlspace Solutions to be very professional, courteous, and excellent in their work and service – we highly recommend their company.

During routine maintenance on our AC, we learned our crawl space had some water leaking in, as well as mold beginning to grow. Chris Osburn came out, did a thorough examination of the area, and was very professional the entire time. He didn't spend time trying to upsell us, just wanted to give us a solution that would work for our family and our home. Ultimately, they won our business by being fair and honest. The price was still better than other estimates we had received, and we felt it encompassed all the work that needed to be done.<br><br>The cleanout and installation have just been completed, and we couldn't be happier with the crew that was sent out. Ethan and his team worked quickly and efficiently, while providing us with top tier service. They completely cleaned out any damaged insulation, and dug the area for the drain. They installed a dehumidifier and sump pump, and I could barely hear them working down there. They took the time to take care of our property, while making sure things were done the right way. My crawlspace can be used now! American Crawlspace Solutions repaired the sagging concrete around my pool.<br><br>I contacted several companies and one is large company advertised all over Atlanta, they did not give me the customer service and care that John and ACS did for me.<br><br>Right from the beginning John was thorough and explained his entire process from beginning to end, what I could expect and painted a detailed picture of how the concrete would raise and settle.<br><br>As soon as John sent me the quote I wanted to proceed with the job, within a day we were scheduled for the following week to get the job done.<br><br>I received a text from Zack and Jordan saying they are on the way early in the morning and they conducted the job as John explained they would. I had them come out as the dehumidifier in my crawlspace was not working. Michael came and determined that it needed to be replaced as he could not get the compressor to come on. It was over 20 years old so I was not surprised. He also found some areas of mold that needed to be addressed. We discussed the best ways to deal with the problems and stay within my budget. I have always heard the commercials for American Crawlspace Solutions on WSB Radio, however, I never thought I would need to use them. This past month, I realized I had an issue that required work in the crawlspace of my home.<br><br>I called to request an appointment and Michael C. was very responsive. He arrived the day after I called and performed a very thorough assessment/inspection. Prior to leaving this first/initial appointment, he provided a printed quote providing three options for me to pursue. This printed quote was complete with pictures that he had just captured while inspecting the crawlspace. I'm assuming he had a printer in his truck. Michael was very knowledgeable and made sure all of my questions were answered. Ultimately, one of the options was chosen and the work was scheduled to be completed within one week. Everything transpired as promised. The work crew arrived when Michael said they would arrive, and all work was completed exactly as Michael described it.<br><br>The crew that completed the work at my home was a 3-person crew. Jeffrey, Jordan and Anthony were extremely professional. Before arriving to my home, they called to make sure I knew when they would arrive and made sure their equipment would not interfere with any activities I had planned for the day. Upon arrival, all three worked as a team. It was obvious they each had their specific duties and worked as a well-oiled machine. All three were very polite and courteous (not only to me but to one another) the entire time they were present. Upon completion of the work, they thoroughly explained what they had accomplished, offered me an opportunity to view their work myself and made sure all of my questions were answered. Our 1940's home with a granite foundation and an extremely tight crawlspace presented multiple challenges: build a secure door, excavate to lower the grade for easier access, remove an ancient furnace, install a sump pump, suspend a dehumidifier, and encapsulate a crowded space with multiple intrusions. Other companies were not willing to tackle this job. Not only did American Crawlspace take it on, they completed every part to my satisfaction. From start to finish, sale to final handshake, communication was prompt and excellent. I heartily recommend their services.

American Crawlspace Solutions encapsulated my crawlspace 2 weeks ago. They were late, the crew was very loud and inappropriate at times and after they left I noticed they'd used my deck without my permission as a work surface. Because of this, my year old composite deck has been scuffed and scratched from them dragging my deck box and other items across it and in one area they used a sharp cutting tool to cut something which cut into the surface of my deck. I reached out to my sales rep but he has not been helpful nor has anyone from the company come out to survey the damage or made any official apology for their crew's behavior or the damage to my property. Beware!<br><br>Update – I received a phone call from the owner of American Crawlspace Solutions after my initial review was posted. The phone call was not helpful, and he spent more time trying to rebuff my review and my perspective even though his account of the situation is based on secondhand information from his employees, and he had only heard about the situation yesterday. To sum up the situation at this point, the owner’s phone call is the first live contact I’ve received about my concerns, and I received only one email before that. A week had passed with no communication until I posted a review and until yesterday the only solution that was offered was to send the same crew out to clean my deck, which I had already done myself.<br><br>I’ve received rationalizations regarding the crew’s tardiness, inappropriate and unprofessional conversation and behavior and damage to my personal property and as the paying customer in this scenario, those are the subjects that matter to me. While you say my crawlspace, that no one will see looks amazing, my deck does not, and I have your employees to thanks for that. This is my home and investment. The fact that this company and its leadership don’t seem to understand that is troubling. Instead of attempting to play Google review hall monitor and diminish my point of view, time could clearly be better spent on professional development and conflict resolution.

We had humidity issues in our house and it caused a problem with our floors. Come to find out it was an issue with our crawlspace. We chose to use American Crawlspace Solutions because I liked their professionalism, they way they explained things and how respectfully they treated us. Their guys did a great job and were very pleasant to talk to. I had a couple of questions and they made sure I knew the answer and was comfortable with the work they were doing. They also cleaned up after themselves, which was a very nice thing. I've called ACS a couple of times since they did the work to ask questions about the pump and dehumidifier that was installed, and I was very pleased with how quick they were to respond.

We hired Jeremy and team to do some work regarding encapsulation initially. He gave us a full quote and his professional opinion in 2017. Fast forward to 2020, we call him back because he gave us a good quote then. We ask him for a second quote based on just one thing to be done, reinforcing/raising beams in crawlspace because our floors began to sag in certain parts. He updated his quote and realized it was actually going to cost more than expected. He worked with us and we worked with him.<br><br>The crew was quiet and respectful on each of their visits leading up to the day of the project. It was about 2-3 visits to explore the site then a few hours on the day of the actual project. The result was immediately noticeable within the home!<br><br>Jeremy himself was respectful and a pleasure to have around. These guys did an incredible job clearing out our crawlspace and installing a new membrane. They also installed a new supporting beam and put in a de-humidifier. They did an awesome job! Had water coming into the crawlspace causing mold and they did a full encapsulation with mold remediation, insulation removal drainage/sump pump install and a dehumidifier. Actually nice going into the crawlspace now for repairs or even storage now that the humidity and water issues are taken care of. They went above and beyond to make sure everything was done right and on schedule. Good people to work with and very helpful with answering any questions I had. Really impressed with the soda blasting (not just spraying with cleaner) and sealing of wood to actually remove the mold and help get the 30+yr old floor joists looking like new!

I thought I had mold in my crawlspace so I was planning to do mold remediation, after Jeremy (one of the owners) came out - he advised it would not be necessary.
