iFOAM Insulation

Quick, efficient, quality work. I asked iFOAM to upgrade the insulation in my garage attic from R-19 to R-49. They came out the next week and within 90 minutes they installed additional baffles along the eaves of the garage and blew in an average of 12 to 14 more inches of Owens Corning insulation. They were very efficient and did not make a mess at all. I highly recommend iFOAM FOR ANY INSULATION NEED, including spray, foam insulation and batt insulation.

They showed up on time to inspect the area that needed done. They talked through the problems with the insulation and how best to remedy it. We agreed with our plan and the estimate was right in the ballpark we were expecting. They arranged to take care of us within the week. On the day of the insulation work they showed up just a little bit late due to a scheduling mix up. They performed the work and cleaned up after themselves. The workers are very professional and it was apparent they knew what they were doing and what they needed to get done.

The workers were excellent and they did the work BUT the supervisor did a poor job of setting up the job there was about 12 in of OLD insulationthat she said was 5 in so the guys had a harder longer job to do she estimated3-4 hrs to remove it took at least 10 and the equipment had to stop frequently for repairs she showed up after the guys were working and left to get pizza ? Gone for hours didn't see pizzas then she did not tell us that the dumpster would be here overnight and when the dumpster was hauled off she shot out of here and never seen again the workers should be rewarded for their job done her?? The dumpster co was another story concerning our patio you may contact me if you need more info She is a poor example of pr for your company

Our local franchise closed 2 months after we had work done. Doesn’t bode well for this company’s reputation. We are having issues with one area they did work on, and the corporate office told us this was closest franchise to us. So far no one from corporate or this office has responded to our inquiries. So peeps, I would really think twice before hiring this company. It isn’t a true company. These are franchises that come in and do work then close leaving you hanging. I would hire totally local small business insulation company to insulate your house. Lest you have issues and now have to resort to leaving bad reviews, or having to spend even more money with another company to fix iFoam’s bad workmanship.

They no showed on the estimate. I ended up doing business with R Pro insulation. If they can't show up for the estimate, why would I have any confidence in them to perform the task?

I'm giving IFOAM a 4 star. What started off as a complete FIASCO, in which it was not the owners fault ( it was with the employees) ended up being corrected by the company owners. The lady's who were taking care of everything were completely professional about it as well. We have definitely noticed the difference after our attic had all the old insulation removed and the new insulation blown in! Our house now is much warmer/cooler! Yes I would recommend IFOAM.

Consummate professionals! I would highly recommend iFoam. They had an opening so they were able to fit me right in. My experience with iFOAM of Greater Northwest Columbus was awesome: both professional and personable. My new (old) home has a huge attic, but the fiberglass insulation was deteriorating, falling down, and missing in some areas. Tamar conducted the initial inspection and provided me fair quotes on two different options. I had never purchased insulation — let alone spray foam insulation — but Tamar explained the process to me clearly and answered all of my questions. My project took nearly two days as there were some tricky areas that required some extra time. But the team arrived promptly both days and communicated their progress along the way. Tamar did a final walk-through with me to explain what they did and I couldn't have been happier with the results! At the beginning of this review I described it as professional and personable. I ultimately chose iFOAM of Greater Northwest Columbus because it is a small woman-owned business. They can offer the support of a national company as well as the personal touches of a local, family-run business. If you are like I was just a couple of months ago, Googling reviews of spray-foam providers, I hope my testimonial (and pictures) will convince you to give Tamar a call!

I found iFoam from a Service Master search. I needed to have some of the 20 year old blown insulation removed and replaced. I had one quote from another vendor and planned to shop a few others. I called iFoam. I was impressed by their professionalism and responsiveness. We did need to review their quote a few times to get the correct measurements of the target of the attic. This required another visit by one of the owners. She was extremely professional and courteous. She provided me an excellent quote at which point I stopped shopping for additional quotes. The crew that performed the work was very courteous, professional and thorough. The crew foreman spoke perfect English and was extremely diligent and courteous. He is the one who did the attic work while his colleague stayed outside to help with the lines, hoses and equipment in the truck. I had several requirements to ensure there was no damage to painted surfaces or new carpet. They followed all of my instructions to the letter. During the job, they constantly communicated with me and took lots of before and after pictures. After finishing the job, the crew cleaned up completely and even helped me carry my ladder downstairs to the garage. I am very pleased overall with the price, professionalism and thoroughness of the work. I highly recommend iFoam if you need insulation work at your home.

Great company to work with.

Price and quality of the physical foam work was reasonable. However, that's where the good ends and the rest of the process was simply bad. Between not showing up to appointments, being late to rescheduled appointments, no showing with late notice on day of installation (we had to plan to vacate during spraying due to offgassing), failing to mask off everything and overspraying and ruining some things, failing to communicate overall, incorrect invoicing. I did more work getting their administrative work done than they did. They at least comped me for the issues they caused with overspray. I wish iFoam the best, and hope my experience was simply a fluke but I will not recommend or use iFoam again.

I am a general contractor and I was very happy with IFoam. They provided great customer service and fair pricing. All around good company to work with. I will certainly use them on my future projects.

Quick clean installation at a reasonable price. Our house held its temperature better, after we got the installation. We bought a 40 year old house.

From the initial quote experience with Tyler through the finished job with Mark my experience was excellent. The job was done on schedule and I’m totally happy with the quality of the results and I’m not easy to please. Would recommend without hesitation and I’m going to use iFoam of Columbus again in the near future!

I didn't know I was calling ifoam at first. Apparently calling USA insulation of Columbus can route you to them as they advertise under multiple names it seems (not 100 percent clear on this bit). This isn't a problem, just a little jarring. Anyway, I spoke to Tyler and he was quick to come out the same week and give me a reasonable estimate on my condo. I liked the estimate so they came out the next week and did the job. Kudos to the gentlemen who came out to work, they were pleasant even while dealing with a cranky old Karen threatening to call the cops on them. They also repaired some work that an old contractor screwed up. I do take issue with them being late and not communicating. Tyler initially told me they had morning slots and afternoon slots. I requested morning. He stated they would be at my place around 8 or 9. They didn't get to me until noon and the only way I was able to know that was contacting Tyler after they were late. This wouldn't have been a problem if they just communicated but I was in the dark and made to feel like my time wasn't important. Outside of that, this would've been a 5 star experience. I'm happy with the insulation. It is now working hard with my new windows to stop my upstairs from feeling like a sauna. Looking forward to how winter feels.

These guys were awesome! Came in and did new insulation in our attic, the access is in one of our kid's rooms. They laid out plastic to make sure her room stayed clean (well, more that they didn't add to her mess), they were thorough in making sure it was done properly, and they were done faster than I expected! Very satisfied!

Rep stuck his head in the attic hatch. Never went up with the provided step stool. Took about one minute there. Promised an estimate via email by next morning. Never mentioned issues found by another company. We never heard back from him.

I Foam came out promptly to provide a proposal. They were more than willing to work with us on pricing. once an agreement was reached they were prompt to provide the agreed-upon services. My only complaint would be the job took about three times longer to complete than originally discussed and the installer seemed to not really want to be there. The overall work was decent for the conditions they were required to work with. I would have no problem using I Foam again in the future.

Had a great experience with iFoam! Very professional and quick. They were very thorough and I am very happy with the work. I would advise the potential customer to make sure anything you need to have in place be there before having the foam installed, it can be cut but it's pretty tough!

Honest company!! I noticed some of my interior walls were sweating a few days ago, in addition to closets feeling much warmer since I moved into my newer home. I was concerned about having proper insulation or even water entering in somewhere. I called iFoam and they had Aiden West come out the next day. He is awesome and made my week! He knew right away I was simply not getting enough airflow/running my fans enough to help with the humidity. Fortunately my home is well built and decently efficient, but in turn the air can get "trapped" and needs to be circulated. I am SOOOO grateful for Aiden's honesty, and his patience to answer all my questions. I don't need any work now, but when I am ready to top off my attic insulation, I am calling this company. Appreciate not being taken advantage of and told I need something when it is not necessary. THANK YOU!

The technicians at IFOAM were very professional. The took great care when removing the old insulation to keep the house clean by putting down protective covering over the pathway in and out of the house. After insulating the house, they cleaned everything up before leaving. A quality product, a difference in the temperature of the house was felt after the installation. Thank you IFOAM.

Because of work, I was not present during the installation but once the install was complete, I immediately noticed a difference in the temperature of my home. The air conditioner does not run continuously and holds a steady temp.

Ifoam insulation did a great job on the ceiling of our pole barn. They were done with the 1700 sq Ft roof in about 2 days. Everything was taped/tarped off and cleaned and looked great when they were finished. Great closed cell foam product and great team that did the installation!

iFoam installed insulation in my attic and under a room in my garage. They were very professional, did an amazing job cleaning up and repairing the drywall they had to take out to put in the insulation and finally the house is warm! We can't wait till the summer to see how well it holds in the air conditioning.

I moved from New England back to Columbus, OH and bought a house that wasn't in good condition. I also noticed its insulation factor was quite low in the attic. Columbus code recommends R - 60 or about 25 inches of cellulose insulation. With power costs rising I wanted to insulate as best as I could. I sent out 3 quote requests. The first two wouldn't even view the property instead opting for over the phone quotes which I found quite insulting. Josh called from I foam requesting an appt. to look at the job. We viewed the attic. He noticed several additional issues, did a load calculation, took measurements & make several recommendations using Columbus codes w/ separate pricing. He also stated two of the options probably wouldn't get a return on the investment but that was my decision to make. After reviewing the information I made a decision & scheduled the job. Unfortunately the first appt. couldn't be kept by the company & they asked me to reschedule which wasn't convenient. After viewing my work schedule we came up w/ an alternate date which worked. The crew arrived on schedule. Josh, Josar, Tamar, Tim & Garrett all introduced themselves, what their duties were & what they'd be doing to ensure a smooth operation & ensured my complete satisfaction. It was quite a big job. Every facet was explained as they did it. My questions were answered & my opinion was asked b4 proceeding. Everything was secured, sealed & insulated showing me the materials & equipment being used. Once the insulation was introduced I was called into the attic, measurements were provided ensuring the proper amounts & I gave my approval. It was quite a lot of work but the team did a great job. Additionally it was quite messy & they cleaned my house superbly. They also cleaned the siding outside from the cutting that was necessary. If only they did windows too ( Rotflmao ). If all companies did their work & took care of customers to this satisfaction life would be great. Nobody could've asked for a better job. It's 11/10/22, I would definitely recommend I foam.
