Was strangling finding good service in this field as it is so hard due to so many companies that are unfortunately just tried to rip us off and we even had to pay a lot of money for simple estimates, But Clean Air Doctors turned out to be first the most professional and secondly honest with a free estimate so we decided to hire them for spray foam insulation for our walls and let me tell ya I honestly don't think any other company in the Chicagoland could have done a better job for such reasonable price! I definitely strongly recommend

We called Clean Air Doctors to insulate our attic. The work seems to have been well done, but it was subcontracted out to Green Attic so I guess the positive part of my review would be for Green Attic. Green Attic also has really good reviews, so you may just want to go directly to them if you're investigating options. If they had just been up front about the fact that the job was subcontracted, it would have made coordination easier, but overall it was not terrible.

I used Clean Air Doctors to insulate my attic. They took their time cleaning out the old insulation and installing new. They cleaned up really well. One very bright note was the "treasure" they found. It was an old jar of coins. They could have very easily left without me knowing a thing. They made sure to hand them to me. I have called them for other issues. They referred me to an HVAC company and I was very pleased the service they provided. When I have time I will definitely get them to clean my vents.

I had Clean Air Doctors over to add insulation in my attic, I needed about 10 inches. They finished the job within a day of work, very clean and professional. they gave me an exact amount of insulation and even installed the measuring rulers so I can see for myself. I recommend them to anyone who wants a professional job done!

They came out for an estimate over two weeks ago and still nothing. Since my condo neighbor and I were both interested we expect two separate estimates. No emails no return phone called after I left a message. My neighbor actually got through and they said they sent the estimate they would send it again still nothing. If you don't want a job then let people know don't leave them hanging I would not recommend them.

Ofer was great. Gave me a ballpark quote over the phone and we had a new humidifier installed within 24 hours. Our furnace is in a tight closet with the washer/dryer, he was very resourceful and made sure to communicate what needed to happen in order to get the job done. Will definitely call again

The Clean Air Doctors came and WOW! So impressed with them and Ofer. I hired them to do the air ducts, dryer, furnace blower motor, and evaporator coil. They did such a thorough job and I am so happy I hired them. Ofer even looked at my humidifier for me. They are nice, professional, and really care about the work they do. They are hard workers and go above and beyond. I liked that they made sure they kept my house and carpet clean by wearing booties. It was such a pleasure talking with Ofer. He came and explained everything to me...answered all my questions, showed me and even took before and after photos for me to see. He is such a kind individual and really great personality. This company is an A+ company!!! Responsiveness, price, customer service, and installation all went beautifully. Highly recommend them. It was always cold above the garage in winter and hot in summer. We can really feel the difference so much nicer. After their home insulation audit they blew in about 12 inches above the garage and sealed all the lights and fans and a few more items. Great!

There price was very fair. They did the job on very extremely cold day (-15F) last year. We can feel the difference before and after Insulation.

We've used Clean Air Doctors several times now. They are some of the best contractors I have worked with. I've had issues with other contractors taking too long, changing prices, and just flat out not showing up. Clean Air Doctors have shown up off hours for emergencies like our A/C breaking, did a fantastic job with our duct cleaning, were very prompt and knowledgable with our HVAC tune up, and even replaced a UV light free of charge when it broke.

We needed to insulate the ceiling above our third floor apartment. Other contractors turned down the work because the space was difficult to maneuver in, but Ofer assured us he could get the job done and at a fair cost. William did the job for us and was awesome to work with. Despite the difficult conditions he was incredibly helpful, kind and exactly the type of person you trust to get the job done well. Couldn't be happier with the work.

They did a good job cleaning what they cleaned but they tried to take advantage of my girlfriend being there because I was busy working. I ordered the $399 air duct cleaning special. They showed up on time with a heads up call when they were about 30 minutes out. Told my girlfriend that the coil needed to be relocated due to it being a fire hazard and would cost a bunch along with another fee for cleaning the furnace. Was going to be another $475 ontop of the $399. A close family friend who’s been in HVAC for over 30 years installed the furnace. I called him to ask about the coil and he thought it was hysterical they said that but to send him a picture of the coil just in case they may have moved it. Sent him and some friends who work HVAC the picture to get a few opinions and they all said there is no fire hazard or anything to worry about with that. The furnace cleaning was supposed to be included in the $399 according to the advertisement not an added charge like they were telling my GF. It’s probably better they didn’t touch it any more than their “inspection” though with what they were claiming about the coil. It also said free dryer vent cleaning I didn’t care much to see if they touched that although they did ask my GF if the dryer even worked. I understand being that they are salesmen that they will try and upsell people any way they can. But it’s not fun having a paniced phone call from your GF worried about the house burning down or saying they want to charge a bunch more money for things while your trying to work and figured due to the good reviews you could trust them. And like I said they did a good job with the vents that they cleaned I was really happy with that part. And just a suggestion for them, when you go to clean up it might be best to use the utility sink right next to the furnace as opposed to the brand new sink in the bathroom and leave a mess everywhere in the sink. I’d probably use them again if I was able to be there to supervise or were able to have some one who can tell when a salesman is just blowing wind trying to get some extra money.

I had a great experience with the Clean Air Doctors. They called me 30 minutes before arriving. They arrived exactly when they said they would, were very curtious, and very through with their cleaning. The before and after pictures were night and day. The owner even came out to see how the work was going. That's some customer care! The team was super quick, and explained the complete procedure before starting. I would highly recommend they guys before anyone else to my friends and family because of the level of professionalism they showed. As someone who works with plenty of contractors, Clean Air Doctors are one of the rare good ones in Chicago. They didn't only offer a free estimate, but they also did a great job in the timeline they promised and the final bill was exactly the same as the estimate. Ofer is also very responsive via text which is also unlike most contractors. If you have any drywall work, contact Clean Air Doctors.

Setting up an appointment was simple with the guys from Clean Air Drs. They showed up during the slotted time & went right to work! The access to clean my dryer vent was pretty awkward, but they made it work, and were done in less than an 45 minutes. The gentleman showed me before & after pictures & answered all my questions! Will use them again!

They were very courteous and did a great job cleaning all of our ducts. I would have given them 5 stars but my only complaint was that they really need to not rush so much and pay a little more attention to detail. I expected to have a little bit of cleanup here and there but after I noticed at pretty much every vent there was leftovers and I was sitting in the house a couple hours later and noticed it got really cold. It was because they never turned the heat back on after and never told me and they also left one of our windows wide open. But those were minor errors. Ultimately they did a good job with what I hired them for.

This kind of customer service caught me by surprise but it is a delightful surprise! Hector went the extra mile in his service. Not to mention the job they did was very thorough!!! This place has lots of 5-star reviews, so I was shocked at the customer service & lack of professionalism I experienced. Ofer (the owner) is quick to respond & will negotiate price. Everything went well during the cleaning until I noticed a screw was forgotten & there was dust on the floor. I took out a broom & the tech offered help, but it's obvious that cleaning up was not standard procedure. After they left, I noticed that SEVERAL vent covers were damaged, there were marks on the walls & most importantly, when I installed a new air filter, within 15 & 30 min (see pics) there were HUGE PIECES OF DUST in the new filters. So now I'm wondering what I paid $250 for. I called Ofer & he promised a refund because "it's not about the money". When I called to pick up the money, he refused to issue a full refund; he offered to redo it personally & a 50% refund. I declined & asked for a different offer. He refused. At this point, we were flat-out arguing. He kept repeating how he has lots of happy customers & even though it's "not about the money," I can't have a full refund because it was a service & it was in his opinion, a "90/100". If he could, I'd gladly have him put back the dust he took out of our vents! I've been a small restaurant owner. If someone complained, a full refund is always an option; I'm not going to ask for the half-eaten food back as a stipulation. Since calling him would result in another dispute, my parents went to the business. They don't speak English well & Ofer bullied them into redoing the job without the 50% refund he offered me. This time, his claim was that if we're still unhappy with the 2nd job, he'd give us a full refund. At this point, it's clear that he has no intention of giving us any of our money back & I've filed a complaint with the BBB.

I had a really great experience with Clean Air Doctors. It was easy to set up an appointment, and they made themselves available on short notice. They were prompt, and very understanding when I was the one a couple minutes late for our appointment. Our dryer is in a tough/tight spot, and they really went above and beyond to access the vent to clean it, and then they taped it to alleviate the lint build up issues we were having (the vent had been installed without any tape to seal the seams, which was part of our problem). I would highly recommend Clean Air Doctors... they were kind, quick, and did a good job.

I did my homework and I looked at 7 places, I looked at reviews and I'm glad I picked these guys. No pressure the quote online through thumbtac was the amount he charged, no hidden fees no pressure for extras. I told him what I wanted and he did it. He suggested some things to do if I wanted but no pressure and when I said no he said ok loved it. Did I mention he fixed my furnace humidifier for a hundred bucks, redid the electrical and water pipe as it never worked since I bought the house, now I finally have a humidifier for the whole house. Anyway 20 ducts Plain cleaning no bells and whistles like I wanted for 200. Nice guys smiled at the kids put on shoe bags and explained everything. I will recommend to anyone who asks for this service.

Service is prompt and price is reasonable. Especially called for repair after broken by tenant, they came quickly and replaced with new part without charge.

I needed my air ducts cleaned while I was on vacation and they were able to come out the next day. They gave me a very fair rate and delivered with an excellent job. They also went above and beyond and helped me find the humidifier pads and a replacement bulb for the UV lighting system in the furnace. They also showed me before and after pictures of the ducts and WOW! I had some drywall done a couple years ago and the white dust was everywhere. I will be keeping their number handy for future work.

Just bought an older house and I was beginning to doubt my choice because it smelled bad and was so dirty. After the Clean Air Doctors finished, the place felt completely different. Ofer was on time, quick, and was priced right. Thanks!

Although I specified an estimate before making any decision, they already wheeled in a big vacuum cleaner like device which I thought should be outside the house. The owner said it had a "HEPA" filter. We haggled on price for a bit, comparing other estimates. Since they were a small company and I was tired of getting estimates I decided to go ahead and have them get the job done. The whole very loud process took a couple hours but I didn't have to leave my house except to use the phone. I really don't know how dirty (other than cobwebs ...etc) my ducts were or if they really even needed cleaning. I received 2 pictures of one vent before and after. They were very prompt and courteous. $300 for the duct cleaning, dryer vent, some kind of organic germ killer and $100 for a reusable electrostatic filter.

Our dryer basically wasn't working. We'd run it for several cycles and the clothes would never dry--and it would overheat in the process. Ofer and his crew called me 10 minutes before they arrived within their 2-hour appointment window. They cleaned our very dirty and long dryer vent that snaked through our garage and fixed the dented vent cover on the outside of the building. This took them only 30 minutes. They were friendly, prompt, and professional. We're definitely hiring them again for annual dryer vent cleanings and an entire house vent cleaning after our bathroom renovation. Highly recommend!

Our landlord hired Clean Air Doctors to clean our vents and they did an amazing job! Opher (the owner, not sure how to spell his name) and Dion came to do the job. They were prompt, polite, and very professional. They had to brush out our entire vent system which was caked in dust and managed to do it without getting my home dirty! They managed to keep everything so clean that I didn't have to clean up after they left. They even helped explain to me what sort of filter I needed for my furnace and how to install it myself to keep my air ducts clean from now on. Clean Air Doctors replaced my HVAC humidifier after it broke. At first there was a hiccup -- they called the day of the appointment saying that the schedule was backed up and they wouldn't be able to make it. However, after talking with the tech and explaining how difficult taking time off of work was, they came by that evening after hours and performed the work. Tech was knowledgeable about the work and the different options available, and gave no nonsense estimates of the cost. Work was completed without fuss, within the estimated amount of time. New humidifier works fine. Would recommend, would use again.
