Called twice no one ever returned my call. Person answering the phone doesn’t know how to handle customers .

Stay clear of this company and if you did work with them get a good inspection. Astro did work in our home in June 2022. One year later we learned that they failed to install insulation in our entire roof deck and the insulation they did install was not in compliance with building code. At first they claimed they had a "certificate of insulation" as proof that they did all the insulation and it was done properly. Yet, after they learned we would be having an energy audit where their work would be inspected they admitted to not doing all the work. They attempted to blame us saying we "refused" to remove drywall necessary for them to COMPLETE the job. However, the quote did not provide any such condition necessary for them to complete the job. At no time during the job did they request any drywall be removed, or provide a disclaimer that they did not fully insulate our roof deck. The quote did not read anywhere that it was for limited scope of insulation on the roof deck that they now assert as a defense. They lack any proof whatsoever that it was communicated to them to provide a quote for limited insulation and now even refuse us a warranty on the work they did that does not meet building code. Astro has refused to pay for damages that will likely cost us over 2x's the amount already paid to them. The energy audit is proof that they did not do the job as contracted, don't fall into the same trap.

Loud horrible noise. All day long. They can't even park in front of the place they're doing work on. Absolutely ridiculous, noise pollution! Absolutely disrespectful. If I could give less than one star I would. Poor poor poor poor poor poor useless workers. All the guy is doing is playing on his phone and making noise. Horrible horrible horrible noise. Complete garbage 🗑️

Astro Insulation is the best in the biz in the Chicagoland area. Closed cell, open cell foam, sound, fiberglass, our residential contracting company uses them exclusively and never disappoints. They get the job done with little oversite. And the inspectors knows when these guys are in the job, the job gets done right.
