Called Airflows to fix water dripping from my kitchen exhaust vent where a previous contractor did a horrible job. Airflow came out quickly assessed the problem and setup a quick date to return. When the repair day came they showed up on time and ran into other issues that the previous contractor did but were able to fix the issue and give us a great result. The techs were knowledgeable and efficient. I certainly appreciate that they were able to fix the issue for me so I no longer have water dripping on my stove. It was a small job and it so hard to find someone to do small repairs these days. Great work Airflow!!

TL;DR Hired Airflows to install a high-pressure setup. Their tech walked on my non-load-bearing ceiling, cracked it, botched the install, left debris in the ceiling, never communicated internally, & management alternated between denial & blaming me. Final discovery: every duct connection on a high-pressure system was attached only w/ aluminum tape--no collars, no clamps, no screws--meaning everything could fly apart. Absolutely not a company I'd trust w/ anything involving safety, pressure, or basic workmanship. I wasn't planning to write a review, but then I climbed up to inspect the work & realized just how spectacularly bad it was. So here we are. I needed serious ventilation for a powerful shower--nothing off-the-shelf would cut it. After a lot of research, I sourced an in-line radon fan & duct silencer myself & hired Airflows to install them. I supplied the materials, they supplied "workmanship," which they told me was under warranty, but the materials were not. They were informed of all the model numbers weeks in advance & had ample time to research the specs to know how to install it. The technician who showed up was friendly, but apparently allergic to ladders. Instead of using one to reach my 15-foot ceiling, he climbed into the ceiling & walked around on flimsy, non-load-bearing metal studs like they were a dance floor. Predictably, cracks formed. I let it go at first because he was nice & I needed the ceiling patched anyway. He had to come back two weeks later because he forgot to attach the electrical cover on the radon fan, which was a fire hazard. Then things unraveled. A duct connection blew apart a week later & the vent was flapping in the ceiling void when the fan ran. I asked Matt about fixing it, & just replacing the current flex duct w/ a different kind & also mentioned the ceiling cracks--he said he'd talk to his manager. Then... silence. No returned calls. The techs arrived w/out any idea of the plan, quoted me even more than the previous quote that I declined, & told me the manager had to see the ceiling damage himself. The service manager came & looked at things, minimized all the damage & told me he'd have his boss call me later that day. The boss eventually called--& the conversation went from "concerned" to "accusatory" in record time. He suggested I could've made the ceiling damage myself, claimed his techs shouldn't have returned w/out charging me despite the workmanship warranty I was explicitly told I had, & said coming to look at the damage would cost me $295. He told me at least a 12 times that they record their phone calls which they can go back & listen to, to make sure they can verify what was said. He said he reviewed the recording & that there was no guarantee on workmanship. There absolutely was, I clarified that w/ Matthew on at least two occasions. When I asked him to send me the recording, he said he would not do that. I wonder why? I got an outside quote & informed him that it would be $300-$350 to fix the ceiling, expecting that to be the end of it. Then I went up into the ceiling myself and what I saw was astonishing. They had removed rigid ductwork but never bothered to take it out--just left everything lying up there. One reducer for the radon fan was perched on an electrical conduit fifteen feet above the ground, in a place only reachable by--yes--walking all over the ceiling again. & the real kicker: every single duct connection on this high-pressure system (capable of ~5" of positive or negative pressure) was "secured" w/nothing but aluminum tape. No collars inserted two inches deep. No stainless steel worm clamps. No screws to lock anything together. Just tape. On a system designed to work at high pressure. Airflows had all the product specs weeks beforeh&. They had every opportunity to install it correctly. They simply... didn't. Now I can't even close my ceiling because the ducts are likely to detach as soon as the fan runs. The flex duct wasn't even supported or strapped. These guys are amateurs not professionals.

I was able to schedule a dry vent cleaning that fit in with my schedule. The technician Rashad was polite and performed the cleaning in a timely manner.

I had air flow out to clean out my dryer vent. I live on the 3rd floor of a walk up. When my dryer wasn't drying well, I had stanely steamer come out to clean my dryer vent. They did, but the dryer didn't get better. I bought a new dryer and when it was installed, it would not work as it said the vent was clogged. Chris and Yousef showed up. They could not get past the second twist in my vent and needed to go outside. Unfortunately my vent is up at the top of the 3rd floor. They needed to repel down my roof to clean it out. There was a separate charge for that. They walked me through the different changes. They walked me through their process. They gave me suggestions on how to avoid the repeling down the roof again. They fixed what stanely steamer could not. They were kind, they walked me through everything. While not cheap, they fixed my problem on the first time out and made sure to explain everything to me as the process changed. I would hire them again.

I highly recommend Air Flows Chicago. After the first person who I contacted to clean my dryer vent said he had to turn the job down because of some irregularities, I started looking for a company with the specialized knowledge and appropriate equipment to do it. The people at Air Flows responded very quickly to my call, came out promptly to assess what needed to be done, and were accommodating to my schedule in finding a day to do the work. The technician, Artem, came on time, got right to work, and was friendly and courteous. When he was all done, he made sure to clean up and was diligent about throwing out the full garbage bag and old piping, leaving the area where he'd worked as clean as when he'd arrived. Although I hope not to need their services often, Air Flows will be the first people I call the next time I have an HVAC issue. Their work and their service were both excellent.

Just moved into a new home and had 4 filthy HVAC units from new construction. Didn't realize what the mechanism existed behind the cabinet. Rashad and Yousef arrived early and left after 6:30pm! We could have eaten dinner off our duct work and fans!!! They also highlighted a few issues and worked around our maintenance crew. Such a pleasant experience.

We moved into a multi unit home and during inspection, it was noted that the vents and HVAC seemed dirty. We reached out to Air Flows since they offer a full suite service (AC water heater, and duct cleaning) and also offer a small discount for multi-unit property. The team showed up at 8am and didn’t leave until 7. They were extremely thorough with everything and also gave us improvement tips for our system to prevent leakage and buildup. One of the units had dirt and lint caked on in the vent (previous owner had flooring refinished without cleaning the vent) and they manually scraped down everything. They stayed way after to get all the ducts cleaned out and you can tell the difference in air quality and flow right away. Definitely will be reaching out to them for all vents/exhausts needs in the future.

Juandell was so great!! He came in and looked at our really old inherited vented wall heaters. He gave them a good cleaning and confirmed we needed a new thermostat. He also gave advice on cleaning for my other heaters and was all around a very informative tech giving all sorts of wonderful tips and thoughts. 10/10!

Great service! Chris and Cris were our techs. Texts they were very respectful of being careful. Moving the furniture to access the vents, very thorough in explaining the process, taking photos before and after, etc. we had our HVAC fence cleaned as well as the dryer vent. In total it only took about 2 hours and they did a great job!

I cant say enough great things about Airflows. We have a multi unit building with one side facing another building annd a small notched out area for windows and venting. The other side is open to trees, so we needed rappelling services to get to our vents. Chris came out to give us an overview and an estimate. Chris, Jay, and Damien came to provide service a week later and showed up right at the scheduled time. It took about 2 hours for 4 units. They were excellent, the setup was very safe and they were respectful of our building. Chris spent a lot of time cleaning each vent from the outside and Jay and Damien worked inside the units. They cleaned up years of lint buildup and pulled out a nest, cleared a cage, and cleaned up our sidewalk after. They also provided recommendations for better venting and future improvements. After seeing the before and after pictures I'm so grateful we had this done. Thank you to the team at airflows!!!

We hired Airflows Chicago to clean the dryer vents of the 3 floors of one side of our condo building. All interactions with Chris & his assistant were very courteous and professional. We had a unique situation where ladders could not be used and repelling was required and Chris and his assistant answered all of my questions and made me feel comfortable with the situation and cleaning. He provided me with photos before, during & after the cleaning. Much lint was cleaned from the vents and I am looking forward to a safer & better functioning dryer. I have already recommended them to our neighbors on the other side of our building for their dryer vent cleaning.

My dryer vents were in bad shape and I was able to get Air Flows Chicago out to remedy my issues today. I’m very pleased with their service! I’m not sure my vents had been properly cleaned before now. Seeing the before and after photos and having the process explained was really helpful. José and the other gentlemen who arrived were extremely professional, courteous and respectful of my home. José also informed me about air duct and furnace cleaning and explained the process. Being a first time home owner, I was not aware of this service and will be having this done next week. I also plan to call them back for my yearly dryer vent cleaning as they provide a very trustworthy and valuable service.

The guys from Air Flows were excellent - they quickly got to the bottom of why the dryer vent was blocked, and cleaned it beautifully - they even included before/after pictures. Will absolutely be calling them again. Don’t hesitate to do the same - especially if your dryer vents are in a place that can only be accessed by repelling down the side of the building. Hired Air Flows to come out in January. Guys nice, checked chimney, said all good. Provided two photos, no written report. Been having noxious odors coming through fireplace vent ever since. So if everything is fine, why are fumes from upstairs unit not going up to the chimney instead of down through lower level apartment fireplace vent?
