Owner is who came out and provided the quote, was very nice and thorough. Got 3 other quotes. Commandos was firmly in the middle of the pack on price, not the cheapest and definitely not the most expensive. Went with them because their price felt ‘right’ and I liked the fact that the owner is who came out and quoted. Work was scheduled for the next week, finished quickly and professionally, and they did a great job cleaning up after themselves for what is objectively a messy job. Have had the new insulation for the two CLT snow storms here in 2026 and the house (1950s build) has never held heat better. Excited for it to be nice and cold in the summer. Highly recommend them.

Insulation Commandos of Charlotte are an incredible company and i would recommend them to everyone looking to get any kind of insulation work done in their home. Simon came out to inspect my attic the day after I called him. He came out on my schedule and inspected the insulation in the attic. After showing me pictures of the original insulation, we sat and discussed what would need to be done. Since i live next to a farm and had a lot of mice issues. Simon explained what his crew would do to take care of everything. He explained that they would vacuum out all of the old insulation (from 1967), then disinfect and clean everything in the attic. They would then seal all of the light soffits, and afterward blow in all new insulation. The entire job took a little more than 1 day, including cleaning everything up. I did get at least 6 other quotes, but no other company came close to the price of Insulation Commandos of Charlotte. Other companies were trying to charge me for each individual item being done. An old cliche, but, forget the rest and get the best... Insulation Commandos of Charlotte!! Thank you so much Simon Linda Daniello

We had a really good experience with the owner and his team, for both quality of service and customer service. The cost was extremely fair (I know nothing about insulation, but my husband did a lot of research and the owner knowledgeably explained everything clearly) and the team was able to complete the insulation quickly and efficiently. Our house is getting colder faster and staying cold longer as a result. Definitely recommend!

Simon and his team — Mario and Jacob — were excellent to work with: great communicators, professional, and very reasonably priced. Simon went above and beyond the scope of work, even sealing a couple of vents in our laundry room at no extra charge. I contacted several companies but Simon was the only one to even respond to schedule time for an estimate. They were on time, efficient, very polite and had no issues with working around my dog, cat and very young kitten. I definitely give a high recommendation!

I had Simon come out to my house to quote me on blown in insulation in my walls. He spent about 30 minutes or so with me using a sensor to check the heat coming through the walls. He told me that there was no reason for me to pay to have this done as the insulation was still doing what it was supposed to and he was not going to sell me something that I did not need. Very honest and professional and I appreciate him for having the integrity to not sell me something I do not need. Thanks again Simon.
