I wanted to increase the insulation in my attic so I made appointments with five SRP approved contractors. I could have stopped with Koala. Everything I can say about them is 5 Stars. Prompt, everyone was super friendly, No high pressure and fair priced. They did a great job. From Fernanda in the office to Bill and his brother and Kevin and Ryan, these folks just try harder to be the best.

Everyone I met was courteous, professional and knowledgeable. Ryan, Kevin and Andy arrived on time and got right to work; the whole process went smoothly.<br>This is a company I would recommend to my friends.

Koala sealed and added insulation to my attic on 1/23/26. The owner and employees were friendly, professional, arrived on time and left my house as clean as when they arrived. Great experience overall, would recommend and if you’re an SRP customer, you can get $600 off. My insulation was in really bad shape and after the added insulation, I can notice a difference in temperature stability in the house.

Koala insulation completed our home attic insulation upgrade recently and we are extremely satisfied with the price and quality of work. We were able to take advantage of two SRP energy efficiency rebates which reduced our cost significantly. The real test will be a comparison of last years summer cooling bills with this summers upcoming bills but we are confident we will see improvement. Work was completed quickly and post work cleanup was done e nicely. Before and after photos included.

Bill shower up on time. Explained all options. His team was professional and courteous. They explained all the steps to complete the insulation and solar fan installation. When they completed the job the show pictures of the work completed. Will recommend them to anyone who asks.

I can’t speak highly enough of Bill and his team. They absolutely knocked it out of the park removing my old, nasty loose-fill insulation and replacing it with spray foam along the roofline. Upon hearing from my HVAC company that I needed insulation and duct replacement at a very high cost; I decided for a second opinion. We used koala of east valley to retrofit our vented attic with cellulose to a spray foamed attic. Great business. Excellent communication, honest pricing very friendly and professional staff. Highly recommend

We had a great experience with Koala from start to finish. They did a very thorough job evaluating our existing insulation and estimating our options to correct the lack of insulation we had. We were shown many photos of our attic area and explained the different options available to us.<br>We chose to insulate the best we could while also adding solar fans and vents. Bill did a great job explaining all the Federal and State tax advantages available to us.<br>When it was time to get the work done they did an excellent job with all aspects. Explained what they were doing, how long it would take and went above and beyond to secure one of our bathroom vent pipes.<br>I would highly recommend Koala for all of your insulation needs.

If I could give 10 stars I would! We hired them to remove all of the old batt and blown in insulation in the attic space of our 50 year old home. Everyone that I interacted with at Koala provided the utmost of customer care. This includes Jim (one of the owners), office staff and the work crews. When Jim and I walked our home to review the work he provided solid suggestions or solutions that made sense. While their pricing was not the lowest as compared to another bidder I felt that they gave us a fair inclusive price that outlined a clear and complete scope of work. After many years in Construction Management I know from experience that you don’t always go with the low bid. Jim gave me the confidence that they were the right company for us. The crews arrived when they said they would, were professional, protected all the finishes where they had to access and then when complete did a great cleanup both inside and out. When complete they provided pictures of all areas of our attic so that I did not have to crawl up there to inspect the work.<br>We are 100% a happy and satisfied customer and looking forward to a quieter home with reduced heating/cooling costs. Koala was wonderful to work with on reinsulating my attic. There was almost no insulation left. Bill inspected my attic space and discovered that my AC unit was blowing cool air into the attic from a torn seam. He demanded to come back the next day and repair it at no cost. Because of this action, we selected Koala Insulation for our job. After discussing our options we elected to use foam. The owners Bill and Jim were very professional in completing the work. Bill Villani came out and did a thorough inspection and evaluation of my home, existing insulation levels, asked about hotspots in the house and even asked how long I intended to stay in my home.<br><br>He recommended several options, including sealing of ducts and ventilation options as well as handling the SRP rebates. I ended up going with Koala because of this superb experience, competitive rates, and highly skilled and professional demeanor. I had other quotes but their attitude was more of a “we’ll blow in insulation”.<br><br>Ryan Villani, Mike Brouse, the Operation Lead, and another tech (didn’t get his name) were all excellent to work with. They came out on the day of install and were fast, efficient, professional and qualified. They completed duct sealing, O’Hagin vent installation, and blown-in fiber glass to R-49 rated standards - all in under three hour from start to finish. They even fixed a missing dryer vent cover missing from my roof - at no charge!! I received 3 bids to add insulation to my attic. Koala was the only one to actually come to the house and inspect the whole attic to give me an accurate bid. They arrived on time for the installation, took before and after pictures and were very professional. I would highly recomend them.

Installers were on-time, courteous, and professional. We had insulation done & 2 solar fans installed. The verdict is still out to see our tax credits come through? Koala did give us the SRP rebate of $600 off our total.<br>Our energy bills after summer of 2026 will tell us how well this project benefits our costs. I will update this review next fall.<br><br>We did get the solar attic fans. I would like to have something that tells me they're running when they're suppose to? No way to know no app.<br><br>My husband will check with our phone camera however, I'm still not sure that will work? Lastly be sure to ask the fan tech & installers to do a final walk around with you (they did not do that). We found our tiles they removed for the fans stacked under a roof ridge. I called had them to come back to remove. That was a lot of weight on our roof and could have caused damage long after the install. The fan tech did not tell us he was coming back. We just saw a ladder in front of our window a few days after my call & noise on the rooftop!!

Jim and his team removed our old insulation and did upgraded spray foam insulation. They were very professional and super responsive. It is hard to find quality contractors and they did not disappoint. The work was done quickly and we have already noticed a huge difference.

Easy process from start to finish. Did not try to over sell the product. They had pictures to show how much insulation we currently have and explain what we needed, gave a clear estimate with work timeline. Everyone was friendly and professional work was done exactly as promised for price quoted.

I had Koala replace fiberglass bat insulation in some interior walls due to water damage when a pipe burst. I also had them blow fiberglass insulation into my attic which I had been wanting to do for some time. The process was quick to schedule and quick to complete the job. I noticed an immediate difference in the temperature of the air coming out of my duct work. I should have done this years ago. My single story house was built in 1985 and this was badly needed. A plus was that they submitted the SRP rebate paperwork for me and deducted those rebates from the total cost which made getting the insulation affordable for me They were respectful courteous and did a good job cleaning up after themselves when the job was finished.

Had a terrific experience with Koala Insulation of East Valley. Bill, one of the owners did a thorough inspection and took the time to discuss it, never pressing me or overselling. The price was reasonable and also took advantage of the tax credits. They are an SRP partner too so received a credit from SRP for the install as well.<br><br>The installation crew was terrific. They arrived on time, showed me photos of the insulation install after complete and cleaned up after so that I couldn’t even tell they were here. Also want to give huge kudos to Michael, the roof expert on their team. He installed a solar (30w) attic fan and I was able to watch from the ground as he installed it. He did a precise job of cutting the tiles and installing the flashing, and also showed me video of the fan operating. The goal was to reduce the heat in my attic so my air conditioner doesn't have to work so hard and I’m confident this is going to happen. The solar powered fan is so quiet that I couldn’t even tell from ground level that it was working, but the video confirmed it.<br><br>I highly recommend this firm. Honest, good price, delivered what they promised and pleasant to deal with. A+

When Jim came out to my dad's rental unit to provide me with an estimate, he saw that I was working on removing things from the attic storage and took an extra 20 minutes of his time to help me bring things down and load my car. I'd already told him they were hired before he did that, but if I'd been on the fence at all, they would definitely have been hired after that. It's rare these days to find a company that knows what good customer service looks like. The install team was early, worked fast, and closed up after themselves, making things really easy for me, which I appreciated. I'll definitely be hiring them again in the future to work on my home before the next summer season begins.

These guys are friendly, prompt and very fairly priced. They came in about a thousand dollars less expensive than our previous quote . The people that came to our house were professional. We had some leftover rubbish in our attic, that we were unaware of, the gentleman that came for the quote.Removed that for us prior to ever agreeing to services. They will be my first call if I ever need this service again. Highly recommend. The blue insulation into our attic and added four vents.

Jim was very patient with me to follow through with my research about the benefits of installing additional fiberglass to increase the R-value. We had hot spots in our home and Jim and his team went the extra mile to insure insulation was able to be applied where most needed. With the current tax incentives, this is a no brainer installation and should ROI quickly. We can already tell the rooms are more comfortable.

These guys are Rockstars! When Jim V. came out to walk for an estimate, his professionalism spoke volumes about the kind of business he runs. In order to give me a responsible bid, he crawled through all of the tight spaces in my attic and sent me pictures of his findings. I had the bid same day and he responded to me immediately with my questions. He scheduled me for work within a week. On the day of, Ryan and Kevin were on time and ready to go. They texted before arriving and were courteous, friendly, and professional. They lifted and supported my ac ductwork while they were in the attic and made fast work of installing blown in insulation to top off the house and installed above my garage. The house is much cooler and it’s already been an hour. These guys are family owned and operated and I can tell they put their all into providing a quality service. They also have good financing options. Money well spent.

We called Koala because we had a couple of rooms that were consistently warm. I was thinking that we were going to have to redo the insulation in the roof of our 20 year old house.<br><br>Instead they found our insulation sufficient but recommended attic fans. Jim provided a free in-home estimate. He answered all of my questions. He was professional, friendly, and easy to talk with. He won my business because several contractors ignored a fallen piece of batted insulation that had fallen down from a knee wall. Jim said he noticed it and reinstalled it. This just took a few seconds of his time but it showed me that Jim was a person that paid attention to detail and went the extra mile. I decided Jim and his company would get my business because of this small act of kindness and attention to detail. Jim also provided me with a fair and reasonable estimate for the installation of a solar attic fan. The fan is purchased from a retailer in Texas and comes with a lifetime manufacturer warranty. We decided to wait on this to see what the energy efficiency and savings of the blown in fiberglass insulation is. We went with the R-49 rating. If we decide to install a solar attic fan Koala Insulation of the East Valley will get our business. The team of Kevin, Mike and Ryan installed R-49 blown in fiberglass insulation. My job turned out not to be your typical blow and go type insulation and it definitely came with some challenges. Required a return visit but at the time that I feel like they weren’t happy to do so to get it right. They put in the extra effort And definitely handled business. Amazing experience with Koala Insulation, I found them through the SRP contractor list after I had the SPR home efficiency assessment done on my home. The owner, Bill completed the assessment of my home, it's not often you find a contractor that tells you that your home does not require additional work. Bill spent 15 minutes in my attic and determined that my insulation depth was adequate and adding an additional 4-5 inches would not have any added benefit. While up there he spread the insulation to a couple of bare spots where other contractors must have not replaced it after the work they were doing. He also gave me some DIY tips on sealing some a/c air leaks around my attic equipment which is literally some tape from Home Depot that will cost me less than $10. I decided to have Koala install a solar attic fan to help with cooling in the attic space. Very fair price (bonus is the 55% tax credit), Mike has just left my home after completing the job in less than 2 hours. 100% recommend Koala, they were amazing. Very satisfied customer.

We were low on insulation in our attic, so I got about 4 different people to bid and we went with Koala. Jim was very informative and his team did a great job on the install. I can already tell a difference in temperature upstairs with the added insulation and the attic fans. Would definitely recommend!

We just had spray foam insulation done, and I can honestly say we’re so glad we did it. After getting a few quotes, we chose Koala Insulation because of their great reviews and how easy and knowledgeable Jim (one of the owners) was to talk to. Their price was right in line with the others, but their professionalism and expertise stood out.<br><br>Our attic was a bit tricky, but they handled it really well—from the insulation removal to the final spray foam, they took great care of everything. He was nice enough to accept the small job that i needed. Attached pics you can see that tennis size ball clump together when NOT done with a blower. I would give 5 stars if he did what was agreed upon in the estimate (blow in) BUT he talked me into getting it done by hand. Doesn't look uniform.

Koala Insulation did a fabulous job on providing our attic with additional insulation and installing a solar powered attic fan. Bill, the owner, provided us with an honest assessment of our house and recommendations. Simeon and Ryan did the insulation installation and over saw the roofer who installed the fan. They were both great! All are very friendly and dependable! Would recommend without hesitation!

I first heard of Koala on KYFI radio and was impressed with the company. I then scheduled an appointment with the Company.<br>Jim came out and made a thorough inspection of the attic and explained in detail what the process involved. I agreed to have Koala do the job. He sent out Simeon and Ryan to do the job.<br>I was so impressed with these young men. Most of all I was so impressed with their communication skills. I also noticed they had cleaned the garage floor too. You can’t go wrong with Koala.

On the scheduled service day, the technicians, Simeon and Ryan texted me to let me know they were on the way. The job entailed increasing the insulation in the attic from 3 inches to 14 inches, and also adding a solar rooftop exhaust fan, to cool the attic temperature on hot days. The guys arrived and went straight to work. They ran a blower hose from the truck up into the attic. They carefully covered handrails by the stairs with blankets to prevent any marks or abrasions. Some of the areas in the attic were very low and hard to reach so they had to carefully crawl forward to feed the hose up to reach those spots.<br><br>While they worked on adding the fiberglass insulation, the company roofer arrived and installed the fan. It is just to the left of the skylight in the attached photo. It is low profile and nicely matches my skylight and solar panels.<br><br>The guys marked the attic with insulation depth, rulers, and took photos to show the before, and after insulation thickness. When they were finished, they cleaned up any droppings from the attic door. I came upstairs with the vacuum, but did not need it because they had cleaned so thoroughly.<br><br>Overall, I am very happy with their professionalism, and with the finished job. I recommend Koala insulation, and would use them again.

I first learned about Koala when I saw their company name on a list of preferred installers for SRP. Of course, as with any home project, I always get at least 3 companies to come evaluate the job and provide their plan and quote for the project. When a company checks “all the boxes,” for quality, job overview, knowledge, courtesy, timeliness, and price, it makes the decision very easy when selecting which company will get the job. Jim was an absolute professional and just a very genuine, friendly and “down to earth” guy. After selecting Koala, Jim even came back and removed some planks that were in place in our attic and moved them out of the way so that the attic would be ready for his crew when they arrived at the scheduled time. Speaking of the crew, Simeon and Ryan were great! It’s refreshing to see two young men show up to work in a hot attic with smiles on their faces and positive attitudes. When we encountered a slight hiccup (electrical wire that had an intermittent connection inside an electrical box in the attic), they patiently worked with me while I accomplished the electrical repair so that they could finish the insulation installation.<br>Koala provided the forms and documentation for the $600 SRP rebate, and applied that credit immediately to my invoice, even though that meant that they will have to wait for the reimbursement from SRP. The insulation looks great and they actually added an inch or two more than promised in most areas. On a side note, Jim also suggested that I replace one of my passive turbine roof vents with a positive exhaust solar powered fan to help evacuate the hot air from the attic. That replacement and installation was also accomplished during the visit, and I couldn’t be happier with the results. Now our attic doesn’t feel like an oven, and the interior of our home is much more comfortable. Our air conditioning unit doesn’t run nearly as much as it did before and I am already seeing a noticeable difference with our electric consumption, even though we are still experiencing temperatures of 112° here in the valley in August. In summary, I am very pleased and I would highly recommend Koala for your insulation needs.

I had a great experience with Koala Insulation of East Valley. Bill, who handled the estimate, was friendly and informative without any pressure. The installation team was professional, left everything spotless, and explained what they would be doing clearly. Since the insulation was added, my A/C runs 4-5 hours less daily, and my home is much quieter. Overall, Koala Insulation delivered excellent service, and I’ve already recommended them to a coworker. I used Koala Insulation to insulate my attic with blown in fiberglass in my 1,300 square-foot home. Bill, the franchise owner, came to my home, inspected the attic and provided me with a competitive quote. In just three business days after I approved the quote, Koala sent a team to my home to install the insulation. Simeon and Gabe arrived on time and worked expediently and professionally. They insulated my attic to an R – 49 factor (18+ inches) and provided me with before and after photos. Prior to their work, my attic was insulated to an R – 17 factor (5 inches of cellulose insulation). Thanks again to the Koala team for a job well done, and I look forward to improved efficiency of home’s energy use.

Koala did an awesome job getting rid of the insulation in attic over garage ! Professional, the guys were polite, courteous and worked as a Team.
