I just left there…..very low on Rodent products and The Guy there is more worried about the Weather than helping out customers. I am the only customer he has and he is pacing back and forth checking out the traffic. No knowledge of what he is selling and his favorite answer is “I Don’t Know”……This Guy is just collecting a Check. Very disappointed…..This place used to be excellent. 🤬🤬🤬

Too expensive for me

I'm guessing the people giving this place high reviews haven't been there on a Saturday afternoon. The staff was unnecessarily contentious and presented himself as not even remotely interested in helping me sort a pest solution.<br>I am all about supporting local businesses but I can get everything I purchased today elsewhere, without any of the poor attitude and you can too.

Great, but be sure that you understand the risks as these are serious chemicals.

Either change your hours or stay open the posted hours. We got jobs too and its a real PITA to get there, and find the shop closed, again.

Good place to purchase pest and lawn care chemicals, if you know what you are doing. Four stars because web site for retail indicated "in stock" when actually at warehouse. Ended up ordering in line. Wasted a trip. Still, competitive price for glyphosate concentrate.

This place was everything great..and plus. some that all my friends had told me about! The customer service was awesome, it was my first time going , they asked me immediately what my problem was(roaches) and explained to me my best options and the details of each!. They were really reasonable and gave me a 5% discount! The product was easy and safe No fumes at all, and I seen dead roaches in my kitchen and guest bath this morning!!

Don’t believe these reviews. I’ve shown up twice in the last two weeks a little after 9 am and both times they weren’t open, even though their website and sign in the door says they open at 9 am. Must be a newer manager because never had this issue before.

I have used their products for a few years now and have always been satisfied, but it takes more than business as usual to inspire me to write a review. I recently ordered the wrong item and emailed right away to cancel part of my order and replace it with the correct product. They got back to me right away and followed my instructions perfectly. I have tried that before with other online companies and not had such perfect results. This level of excellence in customer service deserved a review.

They quote a price over the phone, when you get there a totally different price. So I went some places else got BENGAL and it's GOOD

Experience was great only problem is price is different than what it said online. I paid almost 40 dollars when on the website it is only 27 dollars. I am not sure if they price check with website prices and update in store but if anyone is coming to this place make sure you double check with the website and the store price to make sure you pay the correct amount.

*No Return Policy Once Opened<br>A terrible hot head employee works at the Chamblee location. Lacked communication and barely spoke. I asked about a roach solution for inside my house. He showed me a shelf and I asked if they were all the same, and he said "Yes, it's just a different brand" The solution didn't work, and they have a no return policy once it's opened. I was told it was my fault because I said roaches,not "german roaches". So anyone whos shopping here, make sure you are fully knowledgeable because I guess their customer service is to not engage,look depressed, and get mad and berate you for wanting a refund because you as the customer should have known exactly what to get. Artificial intelligence would have given me better service than this.

I placed an order on line over 10 days ago. My credit card was billed but no product. I’ve emailed the address they provided. No response. I dug around and found a number and all you get is voice mail at the warehouse. No return calls. Not acceptable customer service.

Second time here, just to re-up on the pest control chemical I bought 4 years ago, because it works so well. The advice is always straightforward, not sales-ey, and extremely insightful. I love this place!

I have been using this place and there products for over 20 years I was more than happy to write this review , the people are very nice and helpful and the product definitely works as is should.

Since I grew up nearby, just before fire was discovered, I knew about this place. I first owned a home in 1991. It was in the first few years I drove to this location. Everyone was sooo knowledgeable. In the 60’s or 70’s and you were middle class or above you probably had Orkin or someone to spray the house. But I felt I was very capable and these people helped me gain knowledge…like the time in 1996 I spilled one gallon of raw beer into our powder room. That gallon matriculated under the walls with its Sugar, Malt, Yeast, and Water contents. “That’s how you get ants.” Know how you keep ants? Do such a great job in spraying that you lock them in your multi-story townhouse. They helped me discover this and apply the right bait on the power/light switch plates to get rid of them within about six months. Eventually they had a website. I’ve sent many people to the store and website and all of them are happy. (Yes, I did check. Thank you for asking. ). By the way, Demon-WP and CB-80 rocks. And I’ve never killed a child nor canine.

I bought worm shape baits from this store because I found moles in my yard. A few hour later, I opened the package, the baits were already melted. I went back to store and tried to exchange the product next day.. The store manager refused to exchange. I told them I only kept the product in my garage for a few hours. How is it possible that this product melted because of temperature. I think this product is either defect or design incorrectly. The store manager said I should not keep the product in the garage because the temperature is high. I asked if I don’t keep it in garage where should I store the product. Indoor? Or refrigerator? He said yes. I told him how could he gave a such suggestion. This is a poison toxic product. What if family members or animals eat by accident. The store manager said there is nothing he can do. I told the store manager I will dispute the credit card charge. Finally, the store manager unwillingly exchanged the product for me. I am very unhappy about the way that manager taking care of customer services. I would not recommend this store.

Save money just buy a pump sprayer at Lowe's or home Depot and I buy what I need at Do it yourself pest control!! they are located on chamblee tucker Rd next to the QT and 85 ramp!! Ask questions for what you need and they will guide you in the right direction!! Saving money than pay an company to spray your house!! Which I was being charged about $80.00 per visit!! I get what I need for $65.00 dollars with 16 applications!! That's 16 time I can spray the outside of my house and under the house also!! So glad I did this!! Save your money!! 😃💯

I've been price checking between my local distributor and DIY and many of the products are less at DIY. Also, check out their Learning Center. I spent a whole evening reading all the information on there. I'm a professional applicator and still learned new stuff. Great spot to pickup pest control products that really work. They have a super educated staff that can help make recommendations for your needs and suggestions on how to best apply them so the rid you of your problems. I’ve found there website to be another great tool for furthering my education on managing my own pest control issues.

Could not have had a better experience. I had a german roach infestation in my van. Within a week of using their products(less then $75), we no longer had roaches. The externminator we talked to wanted us to sign a contract to spray chemicals 6 times a year for almost $500. So glad we went with Do It Yourself. Would give them 50 stars if we could.

My mom had rats coming out of every which way due to someone clearing land right infront of her house. Do it yourself was so helpful. I stuffall her holes inside and out with steel wool, bought a bucket of green poison, 4 of the blk house traps and 2 large clamps that kill them and had them gone in no time! She had 2 exterminators come out and was just a waste of money.

AD was the salesman who helped me and he was PHENOMENAL and great customer service ⭐️⭐️⭐️😌 he recommended just what I needed!! I have a little one otw next month and was worried about safe extermination but also extermination that would WORK! I just moved into my new home and had those pesky huge cockroaches literally every night and small spiders! We live on a roughly a acre and a half of land with lots of trees and have sprayed down everything twice within the week, And let me tell you this stuff WORKS!!!! I haven’t seen one alive in the house yet that’s not already dying on it’s back😁 not to mention the line of them dead outside! Thank you again AD!!!

The absolute rudest sob works there. Will talk down to you and interrupt you. I got the feeling he didn't want me there. That is one heck of an employee to have at a "do it yourself" store. I won't go back. I'll eek help, advice, and products elsewhere.

I'm super pleased with the products here. I parked somewhere under a tree or something. Anyway I got ants in my car. The stuff they sold me cleared them right out.

I love this place. They have everything we need to deal with pests at your house. Unfortunately they Play fast and loose with their hours so call ahead before you just show up during the opening hours because they may not be there.

Was not greeted upon arrival, I understand they were taking care of other customers but being ignored when you walked into a small store does not feel right. They could've said I'll be right there with you.

Been using "this" do it yourself company for years. I have used many of there products for spiders, mosquitos and brag and recommend this site. Bought there recommend DOMINION 2L for ants...Used it at the neighbors and home twice! Dosent kill anything. Talked to tech people there and said no guarantees on anything and would knock off 10 bucks on something else!!! Ill just shop local for now on

The best pest control products ever. Cancel your pest control subscriptions and purchase their products for self pest control. The products are pricey but they last for a year or more. Great customer service and their website informs you on any type of bug that you need to know about. The salesman are knowledgeable about all types of bugs and products needed for your home.

From the moment I walked in to the moment I left, I received excellent customer service - customer I have never, ever received anywhere else. Adean was extremely knowledgeable and knew every bug I described including the when, where, what, why, and how. He clearly explained orally, physically, and written what I needed to do to get rid of my pest problem. Both gentlemen were very nice and personable. These guys will definitely have my business in the future.

This place by far is the pest control shop in the Atlanta area. I moved here last year and had bad roaches in my apartment. They talked me through multiple options and of course I wanted the fastest and most lethal. I paid about $100 for orthene I think and it worked in a day. Now I have a rat problem and went back today to find a solution. If you really are serious about getting rid of infestations of whatever and you are not cheap listen to whatever they suggest and I promise it will work. They are the experts remember

I love these guys. If you want to limit (&/or kill) your pesky invaders, flying irritants and other critters seeking your food, these are the guys. I've shopped here for at least 10 years and have learned many things. My favorite? Preventing the mosquitoes from keeping me from using my own deck and yard.

The staff is AMAZING!!! The products they suggest REALLY work. I work in multi family housing and absolutely recommend their products. The guys really know there stuff and explain in great detail exactly how to use each product and how often.

We had a bad German cockroach infestation. They were able to get me the right poison to get rid of them. It took a couple applications, but I had tried everything else and the roaches remained. It was nice to finally have them gone. The guys in DIY were able to tell me how to use the gel bait in combination with a growth inhibitor to finally get rid of them.<br><br>5 Sept 2018 (3 years later) roaches are still gone. Once I did as the people here told me to do, the roaches never came back.

A Most excellent place to go for all types of pest control!!<br>Whether you are a homeowner,professional,or semimpro, these folks have many many years ( maybe over 60 or 70 or more combined?) of actual experience themselves in the field, and will guide you correctly to get results that work and work well. This has been my experience for 7 years now. They even have videos out which explain how to use products and so forth. And when they recommend stuff, it is from thier experiences and those in the field as well, so they stay current i find. I do stinging insect work and other pest controls too, and with the help from the two owners, (i always have used Ken Martin in particular, but the other owner too, i believe his name is Walt) i have learned and been Directed to products that work perfectly, and they have both given me many tips as well which has greatly helped my endeavors - which began as someone doing his own peat work, then for friends, and now a small little business helping people with thier pest problems! It has all been through the help of these two guys, and thier nice staff as well, but them in particular. They know thier stuff inside out, are Such nice folks as well, and easy and fair to deal with. The prices are very good too, and i would pay more if need be just to have thier expert knowledge in products, spot on recommendations of products, and applications of them. It has been a wonderful place to shop and a real,pleasure do business with thier company!! I highly recommend them ! Just good folks and a good place to shop. You will see.<br>Thank you.

Place is located next to the QT. It is small and very forward to what they are selling. Go to their webpage and see what you need or ask the friendly staff for help. Honestly, I cant expressed how friendly and helpful the staff is, the two gentlemen that were there answers so.much and help pick what items I needed. They gave me some pointers and overall directions.<br>There are other stores like this, but I known how well their costumer service is.

One of the worst places to order product online. It took 7 days to even figure out what happened to my order. After calling 3-4 times and being told it would be sent the next day. After the 7th day, I was told that the order was being put on hold.<br>Poor communication with customers, I will never order from them online. Great products unfortunately poor business practices.

We were referred by a friend and we’re glad we ended up going this route. We were greeted as soon as we walked in. We had some questions and they were very helpful. Not only that but they aren’t pushy at all to “just make sales”. They really are there to be helpful and help you understand what you will need to do. I highly recommend them

Didn't seem like he cared about the customers or his job as he feels he cannot be fired. Ask for a supervisor or someone else talk to. Just hung up the phone.

The people who work here are very knowledgeable, and they don't oversell. Everything they've sold me and their advice has been spot on!
