They are expensive

We have used Green Defense for years. Whenever ants or any bugs showed up we had them out to fix it. They are always prompt and courteous. The chemicals they use are non toxic to pets and people and leave no smell. When we found signs of rodents they were very thorough and did follow-up visits to be certain the problem was actually solved. I highly recommend this company.

Shane was professional, reliable, courteous, on-time, and proactive about making sure that our rodent issue was not only taken care of right, but STAYED taken care with multiple return visits to ensure that our home remained rodent-free. Usually you have to find a provider who is professional and does great work but is expensive, or someone who is reasonable but unreliable and/or less than the best. Green Defense is the best of all worlds and our family will never rely on anyone else for pest control needs!

I've been with Green Defense for more than 15 years and would NEVER use any other exterminator. They know I don't want to use chemicals in my house so they use non-chemical (essential oil spray) which smells like wintergreen. They are reliable and in all the years of coming to my house for every critter you can imagine (there's a creek nearby,) they've gotten rid of anything that creeps and crawls its way in. Dallas, who lives about 10 minutes from me, is always friendly, polite and a pleasure to have in my house. HIGHLY RECOMMEND this company!!!

Shane and Andy have been so professional throughout this entire process. We bought a home knowing that we would have to get pest control to come out. Green Defense was recommended to us by our home inspector, Greg at 343 Inspections. Although they are a little pricey, it's definitely worth it. You get exactly what you pay for. Not only are they incredibly friendly, they are always on time and sometimes even early. They are very detail oriented and want to make sure they're doing everything that they can to prevent critters from getting in the attic. They have come back over five times to check-in and make sure they are catching what they need. Shane and Andy have been super helpful and we're very appreciative of their kindness!

This company is amazing!!! We contracted them for Bi-Weekly Mosquito Service! They came and sprayed our yard yesterday. Already I can tell the difference!<br><br>It has been wonderful to hang out with our family for the 4th of July today without worrying about whether or not if we were going to get attacked by mosquitoes!<br><br>The mosquito solution used by them is non-toxic for both pets and human interactions.<br><br>No more hiding inside our house and wishing we can be in the swimming pool.<br><br>Now I can go for night swims!!<br><br>Shane is amazing and super friendly! Love the setup for email and text reminders! I like being able to support local companies who pride themselves on servicing clients well! Consider me a lifer with this company!

Update 2:<br>They did respray today and had shocking results: Zero fleas crawled on me durning my walkthrough. Probably just an isolated incident, I fully intend on working with them again. Thanks for taking care of it<br><br>Update:<br>The company called back and said they intend on respraying today. That's all I wanted, I'm happy. Will update again after respray.<br><br>Usually very good, but flea treatment seemed ineffective this time. I used to be able to get through when I call, but now it always goes to overflow call center where their hands are tied and they just take note of the issue and hang up. I hired them for flea treatment on a different rental property and was very effective, this time it's been 5 days since treatment and my workers refuse to go in and remodel because it's still crawling with fleas. I get that there's a rodent there, but there was no change in the amount of fleas that crawl on you when you step inside. I love working with this company and I will update this review based on the response

Rob and his team are very professional, thorough and always on time. We believe in supporting locally owned businesses that offer great service at a great value and Green Defense is our choice for pest control.

We used Green Defense Pest Control to spray our yard for mosquitoes for the past 1-1/2 years. We started using them when they were still were Venus Pest Control. Their marketing angle of being bee-friendly appeals to us, though we are not aware of the supporting evidence for this. We do not have a pool in our yard. We have a small fountain in the back yard, and we have several large trees making for a shady yard. For the first year, while they were still Venus Pest Control, their service seemed somewhat effective. We could usually get a few days respite from the mosquitoes in our yard. We did not find their "guarantee" very helpful as they only guarantee the back yard, and we did not perceive much effect from the "guarantee" spraying. Their mosquito control service seemed more ineffective this year. We perceived no respite from the mosquitoes in August despite them performing a "guarantee" respray. We made a special request to them asking they do their best to be effective during our mid-September spray because we had a yard party planned for the next day. Unfortunately, their mid-September spray had no perceived effect at all. The mosquitoes seemed to be at an all-time high during the evening of our yard party. My family is not wild about having pesticides sprayed all over our yard. We feel that if we are going to spray our yard with pesticides, they need to be effective towards their intended purpose. We have decided to find another service to help control the mosquito population in our yard.

These folks have been treating our property for several years now, and have done a good job. They are very responsive to the many types of pests that seem to be part of the N. Texas landscape. From crazy ants and rodents to bees and mosquitos - I'd highly recommend their services.

Venus Pest Company is definitely a must for pest control. We've had a squirrel problem in our attic for years, and been quoted much, much more than Venus charged us. It took them about 4 weeks and several visits, but no more squirrels! Rob, Rachel, and Shane are wonderful to work with. Highly recommend!

We used Venus Pest Control to remove the critters in our attic. They have great customer service and did a great job of getting rid of our unwanted guests. I like that we can text and get a quick response. We had termite problems and I wish I had known that they can get rid of termites, I could have saved myself a lot of money! We now use Venus for all of our pest control!
