I recommend looking elsewhere before using Alamo. We’ve been using them for the past couple years and have been happy with the service up until their most recent visit. The prices had nearly doubled, which we initially did not have an issue with due to having success with them in the past. We had a treatment done on 6/7 and after giving it a couple weeks, we did not see any improvement. I called on 7/29 to let them know we were still having issues and was told we were out of our warranty period. Their website states ‘100% satisfaction guarantee within a reasonable timeframe’. We were told if we would have called 2 weeks earlier, they would consider this reasonable and that our only option now is to pay for another treatment.<br><br>Several other companies in the area offer a 60 day warranty period right off the bat, without using language that can be interpreted to their advantage later.

We love Alamo! Mike Anthony is a great route technician and did a very thorough job. All their technicians are very professional and do a great job looking over the house and keeping critters out!

Affordable service, quality pest control, and helpful staff! We have the monthly service that allows us to call them out at any time if we see an increase in activity. This is more affordable over the course of the year than requesting service at least three times. Highly recommended!

Alamo Pest Control has been great. We rarely have bug problems and the communication is wonderful. We recently had an ant problem mainly in our laundry room. We let our technician Mike know on our regularly scheduled visit and he took care of the problem right away. We haven't had ants since. I called Alamo on 11/28/2023 and they sent someone the very same day. The Serviceman looked over my property, pointed out the issues he found(he confirmed what I already knew) and then gave me the estimate. Much to my surprise, it was lower than what than what I expected. He even gave me several options and plans for getting rid of my problems. He offered such an Amazing deal that I couldn’t refuse so he then proceeded to treat my yard. I woke up this morning and I was absolutely stunned to see the immediate results of what he had sprayed just yesterday. I highly recommend that you use them and I know you will not be disappointed.

My overall experience with Alamo Pest Control was top-notch! From the moment I scheduled an inspection to the actual treatment being applied I felt like an important customer. The 1st two visits were good, then I called to make another appointment to have them come by for more treatment. And I never heard back, but had Alliance Quality calling and calling about some special deal and I had mentioned that that I needed someone to come by again. And never heard back, but Im sure they are still drafting $50+ for whatever service deal they stated they could keep their word on. Yet here we are no calls from them.

We’re at the initial stage; guy came out and inspected the house; he gets 5 stars but the process gets a 4 because I’m referred to another guy to come out to look at the work and give an estimate. Have used Alamo for years. Technicians are always professional and addresses any questions that I may have. Got rid of my spider problem. Recommend them without hesitation.

I hardly write reviews but I had to do this & I hope he gets a chance to read it soon. I had a flea problem that started 3 to 4 months ago. I called the Alamo Termite & Pest Control & a tech came over that same evening & inspected & then came back & did his work. We were so badly infested that he had to come back again to redo treatment and the fleas; eggs & larvae were gone! But damage was already done to me, my person. I developed a phobia & kept looking & finding bugs everywhere! I lasted this way for a month spraying alcohol with hydrogen peroxide and insecticide even on my body! And Cody, our technician came out twice more to show me there was no more bugs! Yesterday when he had him come out again, he talked to me about how alcohol and peroxide along with insecticide affects your body & with constant putting it on me and for months could and would cause what I was going through! He used to be a paramedic so he knows these things. This man looked me in the eye and was so sincere & told me, STOP spraying yourself with these chemicals. It would only make it worse. A lot of people have parade told me this but for some reason the way he told me, stuck. It was like a sincerity in his voice, idk how to explain it, but it did the trick in my brain! I stopped spraying last night & I’ve seen some major difference!! I am a bit itchy here and there because my body haas to go back to what it was, it needs to heal. And last night after a warm shower I used the prescribed ointment my dermatologist gave me and dear Lord!! Did I not sleep like a baby for the 1st time in over 3 months!! I know theres still a road ahead to completely heal from this mentally & physically. But I want to thank this 😇 man that he didn’t have to give me his expertise from his experiences and what he has seen as a paramedic & a pest control technician, but he did. And I appreciate that with my whole heart!! Thank you Cody Tolls and this Company is lucky to have an employee like yourself. You hardly meet people with good & honest hearts and I met one and didn’t know it until last night. Thanks again to Cody Tolls & to “Alamo Termite & Pest Control” for sending him to us! Called Alamo this morning after calling several other pest control companies and being told they were full. Alamo was able to book me this morning and by afternoon my house was being treated for Ants. Thank you to Cody for being so professional and through!

I switched from Terminix and Alamo is clearly the better service. Terminix was awful getting someone on the phone, whereas Alamo's phone is answered virtually every time I call. I have had zero pest issues outside the occasional bug here and there. The price is very reasonable and I've been approached by other companies to switch but I have yet to find a reason to do so.

Overall, I had a very negative experience with Alamo Pest Control.<br><br>My main concern is with the value provided by the service. They charged twice as much as I was quoted over the phone. It cost me $250 instead of $125 to get my house treated for odorous house ants.<br><br>Furthermore, I question the quality of the treatment because the ants returned 9 days later.<br><br>Communication to customers is also a concern. When I called to schedule a follow-up treatment (as a part of the 30-day guarantee), they could not even put anything on the calendar for a future date, because the scheduling system prevents them from attempting to create an appointment until the 21-day window has passed. Within the 30-day window, that leaves only 9 days for me to call, find a day/time that works for them, and have them physically come to my house to provide a re-treatment for odorous house ants.<br><br>If I miss the 30-day window, I will have to pay $250 again for a single treatment or subscribe to their monthly program, which does not provide a great value either.

What a great experience. Let me start by saying that I did not purchase their services as I wanted a quote to show my apartment complex the issue I’m dealing with, but, if I had my own place I would have definitely hire their services. The main reason was because the technician that came. His name is Cody. Extremely knowledgeable guy, courteous, professional and through with his explanation. Even though I explained that I was probably not going to hire them (apartment complex should take care of my issue) he still took time to explain everything to me so I can take my case to the corporate office. I would hire Alamo to get a Cody’s work no questions asked and I know I would have peace of mind at the end … I’m very thankful for his assessment today and, if my apartment complex don’t solve the issue I’m calling Alamo and will request Cody to work on my issue. Very thankful to Alamo for hiring and equipping his staff with such great professionals. Recommend !!!!

We found Alamo pest control after having a bad experience with a different company and I am so glad that we did. I originally thought this was going to be a quick one and done job where the agent leaves without informing you about anything. However, Cody was absolutely amazing, professional, and what’s even better, he provided outstanding customer service with a fun sense of humor to add. Not only did he hear us out on what we were facing with, but he took the time to break down what was happening and why, and he even pointed out where the pests were coming from. Incident: Termite infestation found in main living room and crossroads to all other rooms of the house around noon.<br><br>Experience: I called 7 other companies in my area trying to find a same day response. All other companies either did not provide such a response time or service at all.<br><br>Contact: Spoke with a very friendly rep on the phone who had a rep (Cody) come out that afternoon. Not only did Cody come out that afternoon to provide an inspection, but he was extremely accommodating to a member of our home who has Entomophobia (fear of insects). Cody looked over the entire inside and outside of the home with us to look for problems but he explained to our family in a very courteous way about the different insects in the area that we would face and during which seasons. Cody also provided a very clear breakdown of what services Alamo offers as well as the costs and what he would suggest for our home. Cody took the time to explain everything a second time to an elderly member of our family as well. Cody explained what he would be able to do for us that day and when he could come out next to get services started (which was the next day!).<br><br>Review: 10 out of 10. I cannot recommend this company enough and cannot say enough good things about the phone reps and about their field reps (Cody especially, just an amazing gentleman!). Alamo reps appear to genuinely care about the problems you are facing and are transparent about services and costs. We will be using them for a long time. Thank you to every rep who assisted us.

The technician was quite late, but called to let me know he was running late. But, since he came and sprayed (didn't put out any ant bait) the ant problem has only increased. I phoned to get someone to come out and do something about it but was informed they can only spray once every three weeks so to call back after 3 weeks had passed. No offer to treat with bait or do anything else. If they come spray again, I don't think that will fix the problem. It certainly didn't the first time.<br><br>And now they comment that if there is clutter it can take longer to resolve the problem, which is something I find typical of these kind of service companies when the customer is unsatisfied. Rather than try to resolve the problem, they blame the customer for the poor job they did. My house was clean when the technician came. The only room in my house that has clutter is my office and there are no ants in my office. There were clothes on the floor in my bedroom but again there are no ants in my bedroom. All the areas where there have been ants are clean and uncluttered. This feels a little like an attempt to embarrass the customer into not complaining about the bad job they did.

Cody was typically our service tech here in Carrollton and he was always very responsive, understanding and helpful. He went above and beyond when explaining things in layman's terms about the type of services that we were getting.

Cody came out after our roof rats had returned and quickly identified the point of entry and helped advise on how to better secure the outside of our home. On top of all of that, he was very friendly and a pleasure to have in our home while he was helping us solve this frustrating problem. Would recommend Alamo and Cody to anyone, especially if dealing with these pesky rats!

Renovations uncovered a termite issue that we were unaware of so we called Alamo Pest Control since we had used them before. The company rep that came out (Jay R.) was very eager, helpful and professional when it came down to exploring all of the options we had to take care of the issue. The costs of the services were very reasonable and in line with what I expected. Also Shawna and the rest of the office staff were very patient with me as I had to reschedule many appointments due to my contractor not completing his end of the bargain and getting to a point that would allow Jay the opportunity to finish the treatment he had started. Overall Alamo provided me with a good experience and I would recommend them for your pest control needs.

I call the company, based on a referral, for an estimate on pests control: Ants and spiders. The service tech arrived on time and and provided a detail estimate and procedure for the service needed. The price was fair and reasonable. The job took 2 separate trips due to rain. No pests so far. Thank you.

From the moment I scheduled a consultation to the time Jay came out to treat, everything has been seamless and quick. I was able to get a consultation the day after I called and scheduled treatment a week later! Jay reviewed what was needed to treat for our pests thoroughly at the inspection and then again when he came to treat. The whole team has been great in explaining the process and steps and how to proceed with pets and kids in the home.

The whole experience was amazing!!! I called in and scheduled for the same day, which is great on it's own. The prices are good, and the people at Alamo were amazing. From whom i spoke with to schedule and the tech that came out and explained everything to us. I will definitely be exclusive to Alamo for all future needs. I recommend Alamo as a great cost, customer satisfaction, and excellent results option. Have not seen anymore spiders or water bugs coming in from outside.

Arrived and gave me a price and said they warranty and also are the only company that uses stuff that works to kill pests (fleas in backyard in this case). I said for the sake of saving time and me getting bids, can they just take a little off the price and they could get to work - they discounted $25 or so - and I agreed and the guy started spraying. Within 2-3 days I noticed their spray definitely did not work. I was told the number of the technician was the number I could call if there was an issue, that turned out to be inaccurate - but as a line to nothing. Called the main number and after speaking to them I was told that since I didn’t pay full price I didn’t get the warranty and would need to pay $75 dollars for a re-spray. I said I was told I had a warranty and why in the world would I pay another $75 when the first full payment way more didn’t get the job done. They stopped returning my calls and I had to seek other options. Do NOT trust this company or their product.

Aaron was so terrific! He took a tour, listen to my concerns and explained my options in a way I could understand. He was courteous, fast and efficient. I'm really glad I went with this company!

We booked an appointment with them this weekend for home wasp removal and they were able to fit us in on Monday. Within 5 minutes the tech (wearing a mask) was able to diagnose the issue as coming from our fireplace and had us start a fire to smoke out the wasps. Sure enough, not 2 minutes after starting one we saw a wasp fly out into our home. At the end, they didn't even charge us for coming out, even though we would have gladly paid every penny. I would highly recommend them and will definitely be using them again if we have any more serious issues.

We originally enlisted Alamo to treat a flea problem we had in November of 2019 and immediately signed up for their ongoing services, Defender Plan, as it was a better long term deal and provided peace of mind going forward and our flea issue is no longer. A day ago our contractor discovered termites while working on the exterior of our home. Alamo was promptly at our home the following morning to inspect. We worked directly with Chris Pena and wanted to highlight his awesome customer service. He was super respectful, was wearing a face mask, answered all our questions thoroughly and presented us with our options. We appreciated him taking his time to explain and help us understand what will be taking place to address the termites while offering his expertise and insight. He really brought a sense of relief after receiving such not-fun-news from our contractor. We highly recommend Alamo and Chris Pena all around!

I contacted Alamo for a small office building that we were having problems with spiders and other bugs. They came out and gave me a quote for free. I scheduled service, and they arrived on time. Thoroughly sprayed the entire building, inside and out. Very professional and did what they said they would do. So far extremely pleased with Alamo. Have a contract with them now.

They are extremely proactive and have a “get it done right” mentality. My service contact Wyatt is outstanding. He has been extremely professional and really takes care of his customers.

Sean did a great job, was very thorough in explaining the process- how and why we were seeing any bug activity. He also helped us with tips to keep bugs away. Was very thorough in spraying our house. Would highly recommend!

I can’t speak highly enough of these folks. From setting up service or scheduling a visit, they are always very friendly. There have been a couple of times I have had to reschedule and they are always willing to to accommodate to my schedule. The service guys are always very friendly as well and always go into detail about what they will be doing to your property. As for the actual service, it is top notch. Zero bugs and pests for long periods of time. Again, I can’t speak highly enough of these guys. I strongly and wholeheartedly recommend Alamo!

I have received excellent service from Alamo Pest Control. I have a few rental properties around the TCU campus and buy the yearly service plan where they come out every 3 months (there are different levels of the yearly program - depending on your needs) I have used other companies in the past before switching to Alamo. After I switched to Alamo I don't have anymore problems with bugs. Daniel Wiegref has been the technician spraying my properties the last several times and he is very professional and nice. He works hard and cares about the company. Several of the other technicians over the last couple of years have all said that they feel like Alamo takes care of their employees. Happy employees makes for happy (and repeat) customers!

Alamo has been awesome all 3 previous times they came out. My ant infestation was so bad that ants were coming out of the outlets in my daughter's bedroom and bathroom. They took really good care of it. I contacted them in June 10 2019 for my annual ant spraying. Ryan came out, he's new to Alamo. He sprayed my home really quickly , took my cash and left. The ants were still ripping and running everywhere. I requested that they come out to respray. Ryan never rang my doorbell. He supposedly resprayed my home...but the ants were still everywhere. I called and was hung up on twice but the manager Shawna took care of me. She sent out a new tech and he was awesome! I walked him over to all 9 areas that still had really noticeable ant activity. I showed him the ants that were still skipping along waaaay after the 21 day spray/no ants period. It's July 5th and the ants are still everywhere..but the tech took his time and dis a great job respraying. I didn't catch his name but he was extremely focused and doing the job right

Mike and Wyatt have been absolutely wonderful! We are thrilled with the customer service and quality of their work. We haven’t seen any bugs or rodents since using Alamo and have already recommended them to our friends and family.
