Excellent work

We were looking to have our attic installation R&R. We started noticing our house would get cold and we would have to turn the temperature up to 75 to get the house warmer. We checked with the wed site Angie. They send the name of company that could do the job. Attic Advisor was one of the company. After a few consultation, we decided to have Attic Advisor do the work. What sold us on Attic Advisor was that they would send enough crewmen to have the job done in one day. The work was done professionally and timely. Thank you.

Double check all of their work, ask for pictures, this company cannot be trusted. Attic advisor did the attic insulation in my house in August of 2023. We were looking to replace the insulation because the bedrooms in our house would get very cold in the winter and very hot in the summer. Upon initial inspection all looked good and we felt a noticeable difference in 2 out of the 3 bedrooms. The last bedroom, the nursery, would read about 8 degrees hotter or colder than the rest of the house. We attributed the problem to poor airflow from the HVAC ducting. Two years later as we're in the middle of expanding the bedroom in question we come to find out that attic advisor did not insulate the bedroom! We immediately contacted them and when they came out they said that that part of the house was inaccessible. However during the quote (they came out twice for a quote, we called a different insulation company for a quote and the same person came again) and installation they never mentioned that any certain part of the house was inaccessible or that they wouldn't be able to complete a certain section. And if it was inaccessible why wouldn't they do blown in insulation or let me know that it could not be insulated? Attic advisor did not have any response to my questions other than they initially measured my house wrong. I find this to be horrible customer service considering that when I reached out to them I gave them the specific square footage of my house. Had we never done the addition to our house we would have never found out. I will be reaching out to the contractors state license board to file a complaint and seek damages for additional utility charges that were incurred. This is also after we just put in a whole new HVAC system and ducting to try and cool the room down better before the summer heat hits. David, please feel free to answer these questions. Why did no one tell me that the bedroom could not be insulated? How are you not able to do blown in insulation? Should I have another contractor come take a look? The square footage of that bedroom is 110 sq.ft., your quote says 956 sq.ft. Your quote was clearly wrong. However, when Nestor showed up to do the work he said that Clay measured wrong but not to worry the whole house would be insulated. There was never any mention of a certain part being inaccessible during the quote or when the work was completed. And to top it off I gave your company the chance to do the right thing but you and your company claim no wrong doing.

Absolutely fantastic experience. Simple to setup and came out and explained what they would do. Scheduled a time showed up and were extremely professional. Respected our home and kept it clean. Took about 2 hours to remove all the old insulation and rodent droppings in the attic. Then installed new insulation and cleaned up. All done for 1000 SQ ft in about 4 hours. Great service

Short version: would hire again, exceeded expectations. long version: (Had them come to palm springs to remove old cellulose, disinfect from prior mouse infestation, replace ductwork, seal penetrations and blow in fiberglass as well as install radiant barrier) showed up promptly at 8:30 am as they said they would. Explained process before beginning. Used paper and plastic to protect floors and walls and seal off work area from rest of house. Kept me informed throughout the 2 day process. Extremely attentive to cleaning up after themselves before during and after. worked 10 hour days to get project done. I checked progress in attic during the two days and was impressed with workmanship. Would hire again, glad I used them.

Affordable in fact beat one of the estimates I got by $2000.00. The crew worked very well together, fast, efficient and the house was clean inside and outside. Highly recommend this company.

These gentlemen were very professional and polite. Covered the house to prevent any damage and removed and installed insulation in five hours. My attic looked like new after removing old 1957 insulation that was barely there, showing studs all over the attic. They sealed all air gaps and insulted R38 Insulation looks great with no studs showing. Great job, highly recommend!!

Yeah, the advisor employees did a wonderful job. They vacuumed and cleaned out all of the old insulation in our attic spray sanitize clean the sealer and put in new 12 inch to 14 inch batting which is 38 hour reading. They did a wonderful wonderful job. Thank you so much.

Attic Advisors did a great job, from the initial attic inspection, consultation and estimate; to the day they rolled out the insulation and vacuumed. One of the best parts was how thoroughly they explained the whole process and better yet the plastic walls and paper walkways they build for the install. When they were done there was very little mess after the aforementioned and they still vacuumed to ensure nothing remained. Since getting our new insulation our house has felt better, cooler in the heat and warmer in the cold if that makes sense. I would definitely recommend.

Once they got here everything went great. They covered all necessary areas with plastic and kept everything clean.

Attic Advisor was a smooth experience from start to finish. Our attic was in terrible condition, due to the age of the house and a rodent infestation. The inspector, Clay, was very professional and friendly. He gave a comprehensive breakdown of the work to be completed and a reasonable price. We had to delay the work being done for over 6 months because of some other work we needed to complete first. When I came back to Attic Advisor, they honored the original price with only a small increase in the cost of materials. The work itself was done in a timely manner and our attic looks great now! They sealed all points of ingress, both in the attic and in our crawl space. The workers were all nice and professional, no issues at all. I would recommend Attic Advisor for anyone else that needs their attic redone.

Overall I am happy with the service I received. Their price was very reasonable. I got quotes from three different companies. On the day of the work, the crew was friendly and worked diligently. They didn’t do a great job protecting my driveway and oil splattered from the vacuum machine. Hence the four stars.

Nick was courteous and responsive to my questions and/or concerns. Tyler and D were efficient and respectful of my property while doing the work. The only hiccup was someone forgot to put me on the scheduled date they set for my insulation to be installed so no one showed up as planned. But Nick made good on it giving me $100 off and rescheduling my install ASAP. They put insulation in my attic after rodent proofing and disinfecting. My house is 10 degrees cooler now and I'm a very happy girl.

I believe people should not have to pay more than $2.50 per SQFT of Attic insulation, even worse $2.88 per SQFT, so my recommendation is that before you approve any estimate, get another quote from a local company in San Diego to make sure you are getting competitive pricing.

I took the day off work to be home for their estimate visit. Initially they told me they were running late (fine) but then canceled altogether. Very unprofessional and a waste of my time.

They were one of 3 companies I called for attic inspection and Insulation installations. Their price was most competitive of the 3 as well as their demeanor and professionalism. On the day of service, 4 guys showed up around 8:00am to prep, then they suited up and vacuumed out the old insulation. Once they were done, they asked my father to inspect their work before they laid out the insulation. We are very pleased with the work. They didn’t finish everything in 1 day. They came back a few days later for a few hours and removed the old insulation bags as well as finished the wall insulation. I would definitely use their services again…possibly for other projects besides insulation.

Here's the TLDR: + Attic Advisors perform very high quality work and pay attention to detail + Attic Advisors pricing is by far the best I found in San Diego (I received 5 other estimates) + Rafael manages the projects, is very professional, and holds the work crew to a high standard + Go with these guys. You'll be happy you did. Long form: After perusing numerous review sites then scheduling over five estimates, Attic Advisors was the last in-person estimate of a long day. To our surprise, they offered the best pricing and also addressed details that the other companies completely overlooked. For example, ensuring soffit vents and our whole house fan duct wouldn't get filled with blown-in insulation during the process. Those details are important for proper attic space airflow and long term maintenance of the attic space. I had to reschedule a couple of times leading up to the project day due to HVAC/duct work and roof work (it's a good idea to get those done prior to insulation work), and Rafael was accommodating and easy to communicate with the whole time. On project day the crew covered walls and floors, let me inspect the attic after clean out, and answered my numerous questions. I even had some concerns as they were finishing up and they gladly went back into the attic to address them (it was over an hour of extra work). I didn't waste time getting estimates from the plethora of the other overpriced attic insulation companies in San Diego. Save yourself time and money, and go with Attic Advisors.

Rafael and the Attic Advisor team were great! Rafael came out to do the free inspection and give us a quote. He was on time, friendly and very knowledgeable about the issues in our attic and what could be done to resolve them. The assessment and estimate were very in-depth, and the price was very reasonable and fair (compared to quotes I got from other companies for the same work). Even before committing to the project, Rafael was very responsive and would take time answer any question I had about the project. The project in my attic called for removing the old insulation, sanitizing, sealing to keep critters and rodents out, replacing old air ducts and installing new insulation. I've needed new attic insulation for several years now. At one point there was a small opening in my roof that birds and critters used to gain access to my attic and they made a huge mess (It was horrible) The access hole was sealed but now was the time to get the old insulation removed, get the mess cleaned up and install new fluffy batting. I went to "Home Advisor" to find some companies to obtain a quote. Attic Advisor was one of the most highly rated companies on "Home Advisor" so we set up a time to get a quote. Raphael arrived right on time for the quote. Right away my wife and I appreciated his friendly personality and interpersonal skills. He brought in a ladder and popped up into the attic. After about 10 min he came down and gave us all the details of of the work that would be involved. Remove the old batting, clean and disinfect, check for cracks or leaks near the HVAC registers and seal them. Install new R38 (almost twice as thick as the old insulation). That was just what we needed, perfect! We did get several other quotes but nobody could match the Attic Advisor price (by several hundred dollars). So we set up a date with Raphael, May 26th, to get the project done. Raphael's Foreman Dominic (and crew) showed up on time. They got to work right away by prepping the house so there would be no mess as they removed old batting and brought in the new. Plastic was laid down and taped everywhere they would be moving so there was never any mess. In one day the job was complete. They even fixed a piece of HVAC duct that had a hard bend and was compressed. They installed a piece of batting on my attic hatch and installed a Quiet Cool attic exhaust fan for extra efficiency! Raphael came by later with a collection of pictures from the work, explaining in detail the work that was completed. In the end my wife and I couldn't be more pleased with the work. Attic Advisor's work is top quality and there prices are highly competitive. The customer service and attention to detail is awesome.
